Couple Who Beat 3 Year Old Found in Florida

Wanted couple from Plaistow arrested in Florida

Pair sought by police after boy seriously injured

ORLANDO, Fla. —

A Plaistow couple wanted by police after a seriously injured 3-year-old boy was taken to a hospital have been arrested, U.S. marshals said Wednesday.
Police had been looking for Roland Dow, 27, and Jessica Linscott, 23, for 14 days after Linscott's son, James, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Dow and Linscott were arrested Wednesday evening at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force said the two had been watching a parade and were heading back toward the attractions area when they were arrested without incident.
David Charles of the U.S. Marshals Service said the two were taken into custody the minute they laid eyes on them.
"I find it very sad that these two were located in an area designed to bring joy and happiness to children," said marshal David Cargill. "I want to thank the public for their assistance in providing the tips which led to this arrest."
Cargill said the two were located after investigators sifted through the "sometimes overwhelming" number of tips they received. Those tips led officials to Orlando.
The boy's grandmother said James had a second brain surgery at Children's Hospital in Dartmouth. Law enforcement officials said the Department of Children, Youth and Families has legal custody of the boy.

Officials had said anyone who was helping the couple evade capture could face charges.

Linscott has been charged with multiple counts of child endangerment, and Dow was charged with first- and second-degree assault.

The two are being held at Orange County Jail pending their arraignment on fugitive from justice charges. If they waive extradition, Dow and Linscott will be picked up by authorities from New Hampshire and returned to the Granite State, officials said.

OT Peter not sure if you have seen the latest update on jersey and what that sicko did to her!!!! ~ jersey may you find peace in heaven you never had on earth

http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/11/28/15517715-neighbor-charged-with-murder-rape-of-jersey-bridgeman-6?lite

Zachary Holly was booked on charges capital murder, kidnapping and residential burglary in the Nov. 20 death of Jersey Bridgeman, 6, in Bentonville, Ark. on Monday.

By Kari Huus, NBC News

Zachary Holly, the Arkansas man charged Wednesday with the rape and murder of 6-year-old Jersey Bridgeman, had been babysitting the little girl the night before her disappearance, as he had many times before, according to a court document released after his first hearing Wednesday.

Jersey's death came just months after a high-profile child abuse case in which her father and stepmother, David Bridgeman and Jana Bridgeman, convicted of chaining the girl to a dresser at night. Jana Bridgeman is serving a 12-year prison sentence, plus three years for a probation revocation. David Bridgeman is serving an 18-year prison sentence.

Jersey had since moved in with her mother, DesaRae Bridgeman, and began kindergarten this fall in Bentonville, about 215 miles northwest of Little Rock. They lived next door to Zachary Holly, 28, and his wife Amanda, friends of the family who frequently babysat Jersey and her 2-year-old sister, as they did on Nov. 19, according to interviews described in the affidavit of probable cause released Wednesday.

When DesaRae came home from work at about 11 that night, she went to get the girls, and after she chatted with the Hollys for a few minutes, Zachary carried Jersey to her home, while DesaRae carried the younger sister — and they placed them in the same bed, the document says.

Jersey was reported missing the morning of Nov. 20. Minutes after a search for her began, Jersey's body was discovered in an abandoned house two doors away.

The probable cause document released to the public is heavily redacted, but it reveals that the crime lab in Bentonville worked through the Thanksgiving holiday to develop a DNA profile from sperm cells found on Jersey's body.

Holly called Bentonville police on Nov. 23, according to the affidavit, and later showed up at a station, gave a statement — the details of which are entirely blacked out in the document — and then was booked on charges of capital murder, kidnapping, rape and residential burglary.

One neighbor, Julie Pickard, told The Associated Press Tuesday that Holly wept the day Jersey's body was found.
"He was crying for a long time," said Pickard.

I'm so glad these two were living it up having a great time at Universal watching a parade while the little boy is fighting for his life, smh. Talk about being the scum of the earth. These two have no soul, no compassion, no empathy. Throw the key away,if not it will happen again.

No telling how many times this horrible man has raped and brutalized little Jersey before this, also her baby sister. Just because the mother hadn't observed anything, doesn't mean that it never happened.

Yeah. Right. All redacted, blacked out. WHY?

Just like the statement of Officer Bridgett Dixon of the Satsuma Sheriff's Depts' report was blacked out when Dixon was assigned to go to the Ronald Cummings MH (and did) after a call came in from an unnamed source using Ron's landline, to a private line at the Sheriff's Dept at 2:13 AM REPORTING HALEIGH CUMMINGS MISSING; never to be followed up or heard from again by another living soul, NOR was it ever mentioned that the call at 3:27 AM was not only a set up but was not the first call. Dixon responded to this call AT 2:13 AM and wrote up a report on it. It wsa not until months later that Lt (now Sgt) Johnny Greenwood slipped up and mentioned the call at 2:13 AM. STILL no one followed up!

To this day, I despise Nancy disGrace for not investigating WHEN little Haleigh was actually FIRST reported missing and BY WHOM and for not exposing those persons involved; while she sat there and played her hot-mama sickening sweet games with her imaginary lover-boy Ronald Cummings, Sheriff Hardy, Mother Teresa and the granny white whale. She makes we want to puke.

In the Sunshine State of Fla, LE can get away with doing whatever they want to do, or not do, under the "Sunshine Laws of Fla" claiming an "ongoing investigation", which not only prevents them ever having to open their files during their so-called continuing "investigation", but also prevents THEM from being investigated. Is there a similar law in this state/county where little Jersey has been brutally murdered?

Well AT LEAST they've arrested their man, not letting the REAL KILLER wander around like they did in Fla with Ronald Cummings and his saintly (NOT) mother who played a real good game of covering it all up for him, INCLUDING setting Misty up so she would carry the blame FOR him all the way to eternity.

And AT LEAST Holly has got his nasty butt busted in the pen. Too bad whoever did it didn't gouge his eyes out. REB

Whoops.... John I think you and I are responding on the wrong article. For my part, sorry about that. Guess I need to give up for the day.

IMO this couple not only BOTH need sterilization but they also need a frontal labotomy.

Poor little boy. Does anyone know his present condition since having ther second brain surgery? REB

Oops...suppose I need to find my glasses. 'Second surgery' sounds like he had skull removed for swelling. Horrible..and them at an amusement park.

Reminds me of Cummings going there..and CA claiming to work there and that she took Caylee there when she was out chasing men. I wonder if they do this to convince themselves that they love kids. To death.

OFF TOPIC:

This post-sentencing statement is interesting.

“To Hope and her family, please accept my apology for my inappropriate behavior. I know that my actions were immature and lacked the respect you deserve. I didn’t realize the impact this incident would have upon both of our families and I truly regret it.”

http://foxnewsinsider.com/2012/11/28/william-bailey-ohio-man-who-mocked-girl-with-cerebral-palsy-gets-jail-time/

What initially jumped out at me was that he regrets "the impact this incident would have upon both of our families" rather than his outrageously bad behavior. Yes indeed, he is unhappy about the negative impact of his going to jail for a month, and he is unhappy about the positive impact on the other family who overcame his terrorizing them with violent threats as well as harassing their disabled child.

Re-reading the statement, I noticed his minimizing language. His lengthy history of violent threats and abusive conduct towards a disabled child were merely "inappropriate" "immature" and "lacking respect." He was charged with numerous counts, and the plea agreement is based specifically on his threats to murder Hope's mother. His statement contains no expression of regret for his terrorizin the family; he only claims to regret the "incident" involving his harassment of the disabled girl which was videotaped then posted on the internet, which in turn led to the DA feeling public pressure to prosecute him (despite lack of actual physical attack - the common "visible injury" rule which is often utilized to sort cases of harassment, domestic violence, child abuse, etc. because the DA doesn't have the resources to prosecute each and every valid case.)

This non-apology was further distanced by being read by Bailey's after the sentencing rather than by Bailey himself. IMO it was intended to be seen by the inmates Bailey will be incarcerated with, who may have previously become aware of Bailey's harassment of the disabled little girl.

New York Good Cop's Boots Gift Is Web Hit.

The moment a police officer buys a barefooted homeless man a pair of boots is captured on camera and becomes an internet hit.

On a cold night in early November a New York policeman came across a homeless man with nothing on his feet - and bought him a pair of boots.

The moment of kindness would have gone quietly unnoticed had it not been snapped by a passing tourist who then posted the photograph to the NYPD's Facebook page.

It has since been viewed almost two million times and attracted more than 20,000 comments.

The hero officer was later named as Lawrence DePrimo, who told the New York Times: "It was freezing out and you could see the blisters on the man's feet. I had two pairs of socks and I was still cold."

He found out the unidentified man's shoe size, went into a nearby store and emerged moments later with a pair of all-weather boots worth $100 (£62). The store gave him a discount of $25 (£15).

The officer helped the man put the boots on and watched him go on his way.

Mr DePrimo has kept the receipt in his jacket since then "to remind me that sometimes people have it worse".

The photograph was taken by Jennifer Foster, who works in an Arizona sheriff's office.

"I have been in law enforcement for 17 years. I was never so impressed in my life," she wrote on the social networking page.

"It is important, I think, for all of us to remember the real reason we are in this line of work."

I saw that on the news John as well.

It isn't big expensive gifts that get played with for 5 mins before being ignored, it isn't splashing out on unecessary expesive stuff that lasts 5 mins or ends up in the back of a cupboard.

It is the small useful gifts, the inexpensive practical gifts given to those that have need of them that are remembered.

Out of all the gifts the homeless ever got, i bet those warm boots will be the ones he remembers most and appreciates above all others.

I hope that when things inprove for the homeless man in the future that he in turns does a similar kindness to someone less well off.

Random acts of kindness should not just be a christmas thing, given to perhaps assuage some guilt, rather they should be done throughout the year to make someone smile, to show someone a kindness.
it can be as simple as letting someone go before you in a queue, reaching something down from up high, holding doors open or pffering someone your seat.
it can be a simple smile, a compliment if someone smells nice, a chat with the cashier asking how they are as they do your groceries, sending a christmas card to your local firestation or police station saying thankyou and wishing them a quiet and safe christmas.

I have on several occasions when seeing a homeless man and his dog bought the dog a box of doggy treats and the man a hot drink or something to eat on a bitterly cold day.
It isn't much, it is however better than noting at all or ignoring them.

Christmas is a time for giving and sharing, sometimes a few minutes of your company can make a world of difference to someone who has no one.

Merry Christmas one and all as well as bigs hugs and smooches

I'm glad they caught these two sub human scum. They have no soul is right. They are partying at Universal in Florida while their son is hanging on by a thread to life after they beat him into that position.

My stomach is upset just reading this horrific accounting.

dadgum, if it makes you feel better I read it as "second brain injury" too. So odd that we both read it that way. Then it didn't make sense so I went back and re-read it. So don't feel bad.....This sounds like yet another case of a mom enabling the boyfriend to beat up her child. Why is it that so many women put a man(Not the father of their children)before their kids? I just don't get it.

I'm still processing and pondering the implications of this young New England couple, who beat a baby, left it for dead were found at the same family-fun theme park, that "The Evil One" said she worked and dragged LE to while telling them about Zanny the Nanny.

Did they think Florida is now a safe Haven for child abusers?

It's weirder than fiction, seriously, you couldn't make something like this up and sell it to people as fiction...it's just bizarre.

I like how they are under-charging them initially so they can't drag out extradition...I bet they would prefer to have this heard in Florida. I think the charges will be upgraded to attempted murder, once they arrive in Maine.

My instinct is once they seperate these two and the mom is away from her lover she's going to realize the severity of her actions and claim she was the victim and try and out it all off on her boyfriend. She will start doing press conferences to try and rally public support .... I hope we get a transcript soon of her statement I am anxious to see what statement analysis concludes.... I really hope these two are locked away for a long time, anyone that would drop their child off at the ER than lie to cops is a psychopath in my book and needs to be removed from society
