Amanda Knox to Give Interview April 30th, 2013

This should make her legion of young male followers very happy.

Statement Analysis showed that Amanda Knox was present during a sexual homicide and was deceptive about it.
Amanda Knox, who was held in Italian jail for four years in the stabbing death of her British roommate, will finally tell her side of the story.
Knox will speak with ABC News' Diane Sawyer in a primetime special on April 30th, at 10 p.m.
As a junior in college studying abroad in Italy, Knox was convicted of murdering her British roommate Meredith Kercher in 2009.
Kercher was found in the apartment she shared with her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and Knox with more than 40 wounds and a deep gash in her throat in 2007. Italian police moved quickly to convict Knox, her boyfriend, and a drug dealer in what was described as a drug fueled sexual assault.

Prosecutors alleged that Knox's potential motives for the killing were a Satanic ritual, a sex game gone wrong, and a disagreement over chores.
However after spending years in Italian jail Knox was eventually cleared of the charges in 2011 after it was revealed that the police's scientific evidence against her was unreliable.
Knox is also releasing her book, "Waiting to Be Heard: A Memoir" on April 30th.

"Kercher was found in the apartment she shared with her Italian boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito and Knox" - Please correct this. You are obviously not familiar with this case. Thank you.

I will certainly set aside time to transcribe this classic opportunity to listen to a sex killer lie again to everyone.

And as anonymous 9:20 notes, this post in just a few short sentences is filled with inaccuracies. I assume you did not write it and copied it from somewhere as you are usually on top of the details.

It has never been proven that Guede was a drug dealer. He has never been convicted of such.

Prosecutors never alleged a satanic motive, this is media spin from the early days of the case.

Also, disagreement over chores may have been portrayed in the negative aspects of the relationship between Amanda and Meredith but it was never remotely presented as a motive, in fact prosecutors did not have to provide a motive, it was not necessary to demonstrate guilt.

Finally, Knox is not yet fully cleared of the charges, she faces a tough final prosecution appeal where the outcome is still very uncertain. If anyone is interested in the gravity of the upcoming appeal a terrific summary is here

Amanda Knox had nothing to do w Meredith's murder. This is another case in a list of many such as Sierra Lamar in that Sierra's mother was lying for the stepfather that Peter and many of the commenters had wrong from the start...but nobody ever brings up any of those...probably because that would prove statement analysis doesn't always work which would be the end of this site

Hi Mimi , perhaps you would care to explain how you came to this conclusion.
have you read her handwritten statement and if so why do you still think she had nothing to do with the murder.

Since it is apparant you think statement analysis doesn't always work could you give examples?

Statement analysis reveals the truth and lies within a statement.
We many not always know why the subject is being deceptive, we know that they are. Futher statements and questions would clarify the matter.
It could be guilt for an unrelated matter such as an affair or financial impropriety, deception about their qualifications, their job, even parental guilt they weren't their to protect their child or their choice of partner.
Polygraphs can also go someway to clearing a subject, something innocent people will do immediately so the investigation can move on to the next people in line.
Guilty people on the other hand show sensitivity in regard to the crime, minimise their involvement, change stories and blame innocent people, something is is clear knox did when she blamed a man who spent 2 weeks in jail before being cleared.
If she were to be polygraphed in the states she would fail.

As a matter of interest what was yur opinion on casey anthony's guilt and currently jodie arias?
