Saudi Arabia: Statement On Executions

Here is the following statement from Saudi Arabia regarding the possible switching of execution from beheading to firing squads.  They seek to by-pass the bureaucratic snafus that sometimes hinder a good execution:

"This solution seems practical, especially in light of shortages in official swordsmen or their belated arrival to execution yards in some incidents; the aim is to avoid interruption of the regularly-taken security arrangements."

The word "this" indicates closeness, instead of the word, "that", which is distancing.
Note that this is about "official" swordsmen, indicating that there may be unofficial, or, non-union swordsmen.  This could be perceived, by some, to be replacement or "scab" swordsmen.

Note that "belated arrival" is only in "some" incidents.  It is unknown, at the time of this statement, if the "official" swordsmen are permitted, under contract, a certain amount of time for both breaks and lunch hour, and if this time can be used prior to said execution of duties.

The "aim" is clearly defined:  "avoid interruption."  It is not known how many interrupted beheadings have taken place, nor the outcome of such.

"This" solution will likely be adopted.

No deception detected.

***I can't imagine the outcome was a good one.

I'm grateful I was born in the USA. With my outspoken nature, I'd be toast in some other countries.

OT on a lighter (heavier?) note:

N.Y. Judge says "no weigh" to sugary drink ban

When education fails to "gut" the problem then criminalization is surely the answer. But not today.

I posted this here, because I thought it was discussed here some time ago, but maybe I was wrong. Sorry if I'm really OT!

I visited Saudi Arabia twice. Executions were held after Friday prayers. The American equivalent would be a Baptist service where they conduct the service and then announce: "Y'all are invited to remain after the service for brother Bob's beheading". Thank God for grace and truth in Jesus' name.

OT on a lighter (heavier?...I'm sorry equinox, the headline gives incorrect information. "..sugary drinks.." are in reality high fructose corn syrup drinks. High fructose corn syrup causes cellular degeneration.

Thank you God for allowing me to be born in the United States.

Saudi Arabia, a barbaric country wishing to be perceived as modern and civilized. The wish isn't coming true!! This coming from the same country who brought us Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.

Was the statement issued in English or was it made in Arabic and then translated?

I have to ask.

Is there a school for swordsman?

Do they have to do a degree in beheading?

What is the final exam like?
Do they have to do practicals?

Is timekeeping a core subject?

Is there a difference between an oficial one and an unoffical one?

Do they have a union?

What happens if they go on strike and you try to cross the picket line?

How can you tell an official one from an unofficial one?

Do you have to provide your own tools or do the provide you with them?

Enquiring and warped minds want to know.

Matthew 8:23-27
New King James Version (NKJV)
Wind and Wave Obey Jesus

23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him. 24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. 25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”

26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. 27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
