Baby Ayla: Evidence Release

aylareynolds.com

It is difficult to conceive the reason why Maine prosecutors have declined to effect arrests in the case of Baby Ayla Reynolds.  I have not come up with an answer.

As Ayla's family is now set to release the evidence shared with them, there will likely be a strong backlash of anger against prosecutors.

                                                The evidence is overwhelming.

Didn't hear a thing...not a thing
victim of parents; victim of prosecutor
Even John and Patsy Ramsey were indicted in Colorado for the death of Jonbenet, via child abuse.  In the case of Jonbenet Ramsey, Alex Hunter, the DA, refused to sign the indictment.  He feared going up against the private, high priced attorneys the Ramseys had hired.

When you read the evidence, you will be stunned, and angry.

When you hear a prosecutor say he has "35 years experience", you will wonder if this is a dedicated professional who has given his life for justice, or if, in his 35 years experience, he has been by-passed by the private sector for 30 years.

You decide.

If you think you felt anger towards the Tudelas, wait until you read the news release, but it is the Maine State Police that you will question the strategy they employed, among others, in this quest.

Who is to blame?

The investigating police?

The prosecutors?

Ayla Reynolds was a battered and abused child, who's father, Justin DiPietro, while unemployed, purchased a life insurance policy against one of his two children, Ayla, only to report her "missing" and "kidnapped" weeks later.  His story quickly fell apart, and he refused to call out to the "kidnapper", which indicated, in Behavioral Analysis, guilt.

When he finally spoke, he referenced Ayla in the past tense, indicating death, and said "contrary to rumors floating around out there..." which has caused us to believe that Ayla's body was dumped in water, perhaps the Kennebec River.

Without a lawyer, this uneducated young man bested the police in the interrogation process.

The life insurance company, should DiPietro cash in, will send in an investigator.  Insurance companies will take the best and brightest from law enforcement and draw them in with the promise of a better salary.  Insurance investigators often have higher education and better training and do not share the same burden of proof necessary for prosecution.

DiPietro's hair-brain scheme would not fly.  He will not see a penny of the life insurance policy, even if police and/or prosecutors fail to find justice for Ayla.

"Trista Reynolds told WCSH she doesn't believe there is evidence DiPietro killed their daughter, but added, "In my eyes, by him letting it go so long and not getting that help, yeah, he killed her."

Still, STILL, there is a lack of defense for Ayla. Ayla was murdered and should have never been left in the care of the DiPietros.

Very disheartening as without her body, this little child gets no justice. Evil strikes again. These are reasons our Country is no longer safe. I at least hope the maternal family files a civil suit.

In Hailey Dunn's case, I feel the lack of prosecution centers around the child porn. Why no arrests? IMO, many people who have well connected positions in law enforcement and the judicial system are involved themselves, and to prosecute Billie and Shawn would be to open a can of worms.

In Ayla's case, IMO, the can of worms is drugs, and the amount of $$$ and that goes along with it. Possibly too many in respected positions are dirty, otherwise, why not arrest Justin and the two that were home with him that night? Didn't he make a trip to Portland in the middle of the night, the same night Ayla was killed? He most likely drove there to drop off his stash at Courtney's sister's place. After all, the motivation for all of this seems to be $$$!!

I used to think that LE wasn't prosecuting because they didn't have "a body" and didn't want to risk "double jeopardy".

The discovery of Hailey Dunn's body disproved that theory.

It would appear that shmi's theory is probably the correct one especially considering how many LE have "fallen" in the past for years as a result of CP investigations. I remember at least three or four cases hitting the news within a year of Hailey Dunn going missing - notably in Texas. Although sh!t rolls downhill, so you have to wonder if was just the meak and vulnerable minions who were forced to fall on the sword.

Hi Nic,
I'm glad you mentioned double jeopardy. Why does a criminal get a new trial if evidence is found afterwards, but the prosecution does not get a second chance at prosecution on the same grounds? That is just protecting the criminals. Our judicial systems is broken!

So many cases that we read about and discuss here prove that.

Very disheartening as without her body...They have the life blood of her body on Justins shoes, truck and house. Whereever Ayla is, she's dead.

Yeah, looks like a couple others did too.
What kind of interrogators they got in Maine?

John Ramsey makes me sick the way he profits off of JonBenets horrible death.

Apple, I don't mean the following as a barb towards Trista at all, but was there a visitation order that she was bound to abide by? Why did little Ayla have to go with the DiPietros? Wasn't there anyone else who could have cared for baby Ayla while Trista was hospitalized? Thanks

Christy,
Allegedly Justin was given custody while Trista was in rehab because he was the biological father. After that I dont believe there was a legal reason Trista could not see Ayla. I think it was something she agreed upon.

I ve said as much numerous times for years only to be criticized. Gave evidence too based on SA. Most of my comments were dismissed. Glad to see others finally are seeing it too.

Thanks Apple.
It doesn't seem likely given the obvious abuse at his house. How sad for Ayla. I wish someone (her parents?) had taken Ayla instead.

Christy, Ayla was with Trista's mom and sister when she entered rehab. Justin got the police to go with him to get Ayla. He's the father and it trumps the grandmother and aunt.

I'm from maine n everything is done a** backwards. he killed her and dumped her somewhere between waterville and portland for insurance money who else randomly takes life insurance out on only 1 child and then weeks later she is missing and her blood is on his shoes truck and house but out of 3 adults home that night not one of them know anything that's bs!
