Doctors At Border Threatened With Arrest

Another frightening example of Obama being above rule of law.  Those with guns controlled speech
A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say.
In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution.
My sources say Americans should be very concerned about the secrecy of the government camps.
“There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested,” a psychiatric counselor told me. “We were under orders not to say anything.”
Note the consistency of the pronouns.  Note the passivity which is used to conceal identity or responsibility as appropriately placed.
The sources said workers were guarded by a security force from the Baptist Family & Children’s Services, which the Department of Health and Human Services hired to run the Lackland Camp.
The sources say security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.
It was a very submissive atmosphere,” the counselor said. “Once you stepped onto the grounds, you abided by their laws – the Brown Shirt laws.”
She said the workers were stripped of their cellphones and other communication devices. Anyone caught with a phone was immediately fired.
“Everyone was paranoid,” she said. “The children had more rights than the workers.
She said children in the camp had measles, scabies, chicken pox and strep throat as well as mental and emotional issues.
“It was not a good atmosphere in terms of health,” she said. “I would be talking to children and lice would just be climbing down their hair.”
A former nurse at the camp told me she was horrified by what she saw.
We have so many kids coming in that there was no way to control all of the sickness – all this stuff coming into the country,” she said. “We were very concerned at one point about strep going around the base.”
Both the counselor and the nurse said their superiors tried to cover up the extent of the illnesses.
“When they found out the kids had scabies, the charge nurse was adamant – ‘Don’t mention that. Don’t say scabies,’” the nurse recounted. “But everybody knew they had scabies. Some of the workers were very concerned about touching things and picking things up. They asked if they should be concerned, but they were told don’t worry about it.”
The nurse said the lice issue was epidemic – but everything was kept “hush-hush.”
You could see the bugs crawling through their hair,” she said. “After we would rinse out their hair, the sink would be loaded with black bugs.”
The nurse told me she became especially alarmed because their files indicated the children had been transported to Lackland on domestic charter buses and airplanes.
That’s what alerted me,” she said. “Oh, my God. They’re flying these kids around. Nobody knows that these children have scabies and lice. To tell you the truth, there’s no way to control it.”
I don't mean to upset anyone's Independence Day vacation plans, but were these kids transported to the camps before or after they were deloused? Anyone who flies the friendly skies could be facing a public health concern.
The counselor told me the refugee camp resembled a giant emergency room – off limits to the public.
They did not want the community to know,” she said. “I initially spoke out at Lackland because I had a concern the children’s mental health care was not being taken care of.”
She said the breaking point came when camp officials refused to hospitalize several children who were suicidal.
“I made a recommendation that a child needed to be sent to a psychiatric unit,” the counselor told me. “He was reaching psychosis. He was suicidal. Instead of treating him, they sent him off to a family in the United States.”
She said she filed a Child Protective Services report and quit her job.
“I didn’t want to lose my license if this kid committed suicide,” she told me. “I was done.”
The counselor kept a detailed journal about what happened during her tenure at the facility.
When people read that journal they are going to be astonished,” she said. ‘I don’t think they will believe what is going on in America.”
So it was not a great surprise, she said, when she received a call from federal agents demanding that she return to the military base and hand over her journal.
She said she declined to do so.
“I didn’t go back to Lackland,” she said.
Both workers told me while they have no regrets, they want to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals.
“They’re going to crush the system,” the nurse told me. “We can’t sustain this. They are overwhelming the system and I think it’s a travesty.”
Baptist Family & Childen’s Services spokeswoman Krista Piferrer tells me the agency takes “any allegation of malfeasance or inappropriate care of a child very seriously.”
“There are a number of checks and balances to ensure children are receiving appropriate and adequate mental health care,” she said.
Piferrer said the clinicians are supervised by a federal field specialist from HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement. She also said BFCS have 58 medical professionals serving at Lackland.
“Every illness, whether it is a headache or something more serious, is recorded in a child’s electronic medical record and posted on WebEOC – a real-time, web-based platform that is visible to not only BFCS but the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,” she said.
As for those brown shirts, the BFCS said they are “incident management team personnel” – who happen to wear tan shirts.
My sources say Americans should be very concerned about the secrecy of the government camps.
“This is just the beginning,” one source told me. "It is a long-term financial responsibility.”

I don't understand much of this. Are the children going to stay here in the US? Are we going to try to reunite them with their families? If the children stay here, does that mean their parents get to come here, too?

Trying to unite them with their parents would be a nightmare, esp. if they don't have birth cert. or records, and I would guess many other issues, like, did we just give a child to a child trafficker?

This seems like a very large scale disaster.

How many kids are actually here? Are any parents asking for them back? What conditions must be so bad, that a mother would send her kids to a foreign country? What was the parents goal in this?

What is the US goal?

This incident is making a very good argument for better border control. (Lockdown)
Really, how much more financial pressure can the US take? So many Americans, such as myself, don't even have insurance. Yet I pay taxes so high, own a business, and still live in poverty. Giving money and housing and healthcare to everyone, but squeezing the middle class into poverty is going to be the downfall of this country. The last article talked of tyranny, and it's almost too late. I don't count on anyone to do the right thing,(esp. our president) and it seems that cheating the gov't out of your hard earned money is the only way to provide for your family. Honest, working people have tough choices to make. Middle class is going down, fast!

I used to scoff at my Mom when she talked about the New World Order. Now, not so much!

Ok. The source tells us that the kids have measles, chicken pox, scabies and lice. Measles and chicken pox are treatable and very distressing, and the head and body lice (while totally gross) aren't life threatening just very irritating to have and treat. But are those 4 childhood illnesses /infections worth such a need for secrecy? The vast majority of Americans have either been vaccinated for measles and chicken pox or have a natural immunity from catching them when they were kids-i had both. I even caught lice and scabies when I was a teenager. Those illnesses just don't seem to warrant a huge cover up. What else are those children carrying that has to be covered up?

Shmi, it's not that simple of a question of, are they staying. It's a disastrous crisis.

Since Obama introduced amnesty, it is now being reported by media, in those areas, that kids can come and stay, as well as those who are afraid to stay there. A LOT coming are unaccompanied minors (which to me means they have been abandonded. Abandoned either when their parents left them there to come here without them, or now being abandonded by their parents paying thousands of dollars to human traffickers). None of these people are going to be turned away, as far as I can see. They are going to be "reunited" HERE, with their family who abandoned them to begin with, then the entire families will be here, and under amnesty, they'll most likely all be staying.

There have been "cheat sheet" papers found at the border with insteuctions/reminders of what to say. To say that they are afraid. If someone is truly afraid, there's no reminder necessary.

I understand that the fact that a lot coming are kids, is what is pulling at some peoples hearts. The issue is, we do not have the means to care for all the kids, and especially the adults coming here illegally. There are many US Citizens in need. The illegal aliens coming are going to further deplete our resources, which are needed for our citizens. This is affecting health, medical, food, shelter, schooling, jobs, etc. We don't even have enough resources to provide proper border control to stop this. How do we not have enough border patrol agents, yet we can care for all those coming here? It doesn't make sense.

Also, amnesty isn't something that was even passed, as far as I know (hopefully someone else can answer that). It's something that Obama had been talking about, but not actually put into place.

What's going on is illegal. Immigrants who have come here legally are not happy either. Why did they have to, and now it's just a free for all?

There are illegal alien criminals getting through as well. There's no way to stop them all. Who knows where they are all truly origination from. The older teen gang members are pretending to be frightened to stay there. Are terrorists getting through too?

There are people now protesting when the bus loads show up in their communites.

Hi elf. I think there's a lot more to it than just those illnesses listed. Yes, most of our kids have been vaccinated, but vaccination isn't 100% fool proof. This could cause widespread outbreak. Plus, it seems like it's just the kids getting fully screened and receiving some vaccinations. The adults are basically just being physically looked over by border patrol. Here's one article, there was a better one, I'll try to find it.

Hi elf-

I agree that those 4 things are treatable, but eeeww! Plus, although we don't think of them as deadly illnesses, they really could be dangerous for babies, older people and people with compromised immune systems.

I'm like you though, what other diseases are they crawling with that will reap havoc on our wide scale public health? Diseases we have all but eliminated like polio and smallpox...along with hepatitis, HIV, and parasitic infections, etc...which could explode in our population.

Not to mention the psychologically disturbed one's who are being shipped off to be placed as someone's foster child!

I have a soft spot for these kids. They didn't chose their station in this life, and it's a sad situation. BUT, the reality is we can't even support our own citizens! Veterans are DYING waiting for health care, while illegal aliens reside in this military base, being treated for lice, and scabies on our tax dollars!

VETERANS! The men and women we owe our freedom to, are homeless, sick, starving and displaced. Yet instead of supporting them, major resources are being diverted to transport, medicate, and 're-home' people and who are here illegally! It boggles my mind wondering how priorities have gotten SO backward!

Anonymous said...

They are getting better/quicker medial treatment than our Veterans. The VA scandal, that's just a phony fabricated scandal though, according to Obama.

Good post Anon, and thanks for the links!

You are correct, 'amnesty' has not been passed, and it was never meant to be an open season 'run for the border'.

It was supposed to ensure those already living in the US, who were working and supporting themselves, could function within the law...meaning pay taxes, obtain driver's licenses, register vehicles, keep insurance, etc...without the fear of deportation. I don't agree with that concept either. If they are truly people who want to work and live here, nothing is stopping them from becoming a citizen legally.

But, here we are, suffering yet another hardship due to Obama's illegal 'pen and phone' mentality.

Anonymous said...

Wait, so the "brown coats" were hired by the federal government, to watch over the medical personnel, confiscate their cell phones, order them to secrecy, etc.?

Why aren't we hiring border patrol agents??? Instead we're hiring "security" to harass the medical staff?

BostonLady said...

Very scary. I read, about a week ago, that the illegals are being dispersed around the country for processing because the border area cannot keep up. 2 chartered planes were flown to Massachusetts. This was supposed to be unknown/unseen but it was caught. When the governor of Mass, Deval Patrick was asked about this he said he had no idea it was occurring. Now come on. 2 planes full of illegals coming into his state and he wasn't notified? The logistics alone would have been a reason to notify him. But, let's not forget, Deval Patrick is Obama's good friend.

Some will say this is an overreaction but I disagree. We are in trouble. We cannot continue to absorb more and more costs without breaking the bank. Literally

They were screened AFTER the protesters stopped the buses?

And for you, BostonLady, I believe is was "at least 6" plane fulls.

Thanks Jen!

Here's the other link I was looking for. They don't even know what other illnesses are coming across.

“There is really no hard stop at the border, and we have no idea health-wise what diseases are coming across,” a health official who works in the McAllen border area told TheBlaze. ”There’s no real medical screening either. Basically if [an illegal immigrant] tells a Border Patrol agent or law enforcement official they feel sick, or if they look sick, then they’re checked. If they don’t say anything, that’s it, they’re cleared.”

Two to three thousand illegals are being bussed to Dallas. They will be housed in abandoned schools. They are getting full medical, full education, full mental health, full recreational, and full religious care. I am deeply concerned what diseases, mental health problems and financial burden they bring. The cost if their care is astronomical. Full citizens do not get these privledges. But the media is silent about this inflow of illegals. When they are flown to the Northeast will people care? When will anyone care about Texas buckling under the pressure of all these people?

These " children" are not walking across the entire country of Mexico alone. Their parents pay human traffickers to take them to the border and even jet ski them across the Rio Grande river. How many are being sexually abused and physically abused along the way? How many are captured by drug cartels? It is a horrible situation.

Anonymous said...

I'm from the Northeast. I will care when they are sent here. They actually already are, and the governor of MA pretended that he wasn't aware. Yeah right!

I care that they are being sent anywhere in the US, regardless of location (Northeast, South, West Coast, Mid West, etc.). I see people saying, oh ship them to the Liberal States, ship them to MA. I know some areas/states are viewed as more liberal or more conservative, but not everyone from those places "fit the mold". I don't know anyone personally who is ok with what is going on, from this "Liberal State". I'm concerned about all the same things you are, for all of USA, not just certain areas.

Anonymous said...

Also, I think people/the media is relatively quiet because it's not "politically correct" to voice all the concerns. The US should suffer in silence I guess.

"Brown Shirts" is appropriate. Anthony Jordon managed to turn the Baptist religion into a cult and that cult turned it into a tin-foil heiracy meant to cover the nation. This is why whenever tradgedy happens everything goes dead because these looneies can't control themselves. Planned or more people needing psychiatric help than we really know?

They are very convincing to morons that have been raised on or near a military base and these same idiots participate in the "brown shirtin'" of everyday citizens.

Tens of thousands of immigrants who illegally crossed the Mexico border into Texas are in the process of being released into communities throughout the nation rather than being indefinitely detained or immediately deported, a congressman told

The releases have already started and the Border Patrol did not disclose how many. At least 60,000 Central Americans have entered the country illegally this year, though some news reports say the figure is as high as 170,000. An effort is under way to place children in foster homes or with relatives already living in the U.S., said Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas.

Why aren't the legal citizens of the communities allowed to vote on this illegal matter? Protesters were able to stop some of them. More people need to protest, although I'm sure it won't be done so openly now; nobody will now where they're being transported to or when.

Yes, paying thousands of dollars. Where are they getting that money?

The Department of Health and Human Services has set up housing at Ft. Sill and two other military bases – Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio and Ventura County Naval Base in Oxnard, Cali. – to house thousands of unaccompanied alien children, or UACs, who were apprehended at the southern U.S. border.

Bridenstine went to Ft. Sill to observe the conditions under which the 1,200 UACs there are living and to find out to whom they would be released.

But when he showed up at the facility, Bridenstine says he was told by a guard with a security unit which calls itself the “Brown Shirts” that he could not observe the children or their living conditions.

When the congressman spoke to a manager and HHS official, he was told he would have to schedule a formal visit for July 21.

“Any Member of Congress should have the legal authority to visit a federal youth detention facility without waiting three weeks,” Bridenstine said in his statement.

Though unable to get inside the facility, Bridenstine described its exterior.

“A new fence has been erected by HHS, completely surrounding the barracks and covered with material to totally obscure the view,” he said, adding that “every gate is chained closed.”

“What are they trying to hide?” Bridenstine asked. “Do they not want the children to speak with Members of Congress?”

Thus is the perils of combining drugs for entrapment of the American citizens and using children for entrapment as well. What would their lives be like if the drug cartels hadn't destroyed their country trying to get their wares ready for American consumption?

If they go into foster care they will not have a good life either. Remanded to government studies or Baptist studies. What a hellish outcome this is.

Anonymous said...

Of course they couldn't have sent them through a delousing center because then people would be suspicous of what the "Brown Shirts" were doing. A fantasy horror come true.

I read a blog from San Antiono in which the person describes strange events in her neighborhood and DOD RVs moving in.

It reminded me of the rapes of elderly women in Tulsa Ok in which they are calling "serial rapist" at large though the suspect could be anywhere from 5'4" to 6' tall, totally black, mulatto, hispanic, or dirty white guy. No one victim describe this assailant the same way. None the less, a task force is set up to catch the "serial" predator. One such person was caught on film trying to rape inside a church. Hmmmmmmmm.

California bus saga suggests illegal immigration backlash is boiling over
A protest in Murrieta, Calif., turned back three busloads of undocumented immigrants. But more buses could be on the way. The episode highlights the predicament facing federal officials as they seek to cope with a surge of illegal immigration in Texas.

On Tuesday, flag-waving protesters shouting slogans including "go home" turned back three busloads of undocumented immigrants heading for a border patrol processing facility in this inland town nestled between Los Angeles and San Diego.
