Face Expressions

I like this one as it uses more obvious and natural face expressions...

I am incredibly observant. I felt like they were too easy.

Same here! Wondered if I'd ever thought of working as a detective. Others have said that, too. The server of breakfast this morn wants to be one; I never did. It always seems to be flung upon me at odd intervals while others chase it to its death.

Lol! I, too, am 'incredibly observant'!

I wonder if this set of photos was originally designed to gauge emotional perceptions of people being evaluated for autism spectrum disorders?

Many of the expressions seemed exaggerated to the point that anyone operating within normal social functioning boundaries would identify with ease.

I think they are quite "plain" or perhaps a bit exaggerated but this is best for training purposes.

For John,

Did you read recently where Dr. Edman says he will not declare someone deceptive unless he, himself, conducts the interview?

I got incredibly observant but there were a couple I had doubts about. I did two things. Look closely at the eyes and imagine it was a real person and then try to imagine what the rest of the face, particularly the mouth, would look like if the eyes looked as pictured. Guess it worked.

I did it again, but with only one eye open. Gave different answers and got the same results. Guess there is no wrong on that quizz!
