The girlfriend of a man who went missing after a Christmas night out almost ten days ago has made a video plea for him to come home.

Specialist police divers have been searching the River Medway in Kent but have so far found nothing to suggest he was there.

Natasha Morgan, 28, has uploaded a video to YouTube and set up a website in a bid for Mr Lamb to come home.
In the video Natasha is close to tears throughout the minute-long clip as she begs her boyfriend to make contact.
She tells him: 'Pat, if you're listening, I love you so much. Please come home to me.
'It doesn't what's happened or if you feel embarrassed or if you think you've done something wrong. It really doesn't matter.
'You know I forgive everything anyway. I love you much and I just need you safe.
'I need your help with everything. I need you in my life, I need you to look after me. Please let me look after you now.

Miss Morgan, a retail manager and dancer, said Mr Lamb, a broadcast engineer, would be unlikely to leave his two year-old nephew Harry Lamb who is currently suffering with leukaemia.
She said she is worried her boyfriend has died but has made the video because there are no clues in the investigation.
Police flew over a specialist sonar device from Ireland to scan the river for any signs of Mr Lamb, who lives in Greenhithe, Kent. Divers went in after an area of interest was indicated, but found nothing.

His family have also put up posters all over Kent and launched a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #findpatlamb.
'I don't feel he's gone off anywhere, he's never done anything like that before, but you have to cover all your bases,' she added.
'At the moment police are going through CCTV, but we've heard nothing for over a week. I'm so frightened he's dead.
'But the fact that nothing was found in the river is hopeful.
'At the moment we are all totally clueless as to what might have happened but I'm hoping the video may make a bit of difference, I have to do something.
'If he is alive I'm hoping the video will make him realise he will come home and everything will be OK.

'It would be wonderful to have him home for Christmas.'
Mr Lamb's mother Sharon, 57, father Tony, 65, sister Zoe, 20, and his four brothers are helping with the search.
A Kent Police spokesman said: 'It continues as a missing person enquiry and we are still investigating.
'We've got lots of CCTV so we are going through that and last week we search the river Medway.'

A specialist search dog from NSARDA (National Search & Rescue Dog Association) was also being used today to search in areas inaccessible to people.
A spokesperson for Kent Search and Rescue said: 'We have got a search dog out at the moment.
'It has been out since 7.30am and will continue to search throughout the day. We will be heading down to the hotel where Pat was meant to be staying.
'We have also had teams analysing over 500 photos that were obtained from the spotter plane. We have picked out anything in the images that is unusual and going back to that point.
'Search boats will also be back on the water later today.'

Hmmmm.... Why the assumption that the boyfriend needs to be "forgiven"? Girlfriend doesn't even address the possibility of harm coming to him or that he might WANT to come home, but can't. She doesn't ask the public to help in finding him. Granted, I didn't listen to the video, just read the quote in this post. But I sure see lots of "I", "I", "I" and "me" and not much concern for Pat's welfare.

My hunch is that this is a potential suicide. Both the girlfriend and the family cognizant that something may have been wrong before he disappeared.

They said, 'If he has done something that I or his family don't know about then we just want to let him know that he can come home and he doesn't have to be embarrassed or afraid, whatever that might be."

I find it telling that his mother says she wants him home for Christmas. They know a little more than they are letting on with regard to his motives. I watched the video and believe the girlfriend knows what may have driven him away. Her video seems very personal and directed to him and not the public.

The look on her face is one of devastation.
Her language to me reflects confusion, a sense of beffudlement.
My hunch is that he was probably drunk coming home from the party and fell into a body of water or fell down a hill or something and died.
The girlfriend's language just sounds like she is grasping at straws.
"It doesn't matter if you're embarrassed..." I feel she is grasping at straws.
When I was in college a young man from my school was wandering back to the campus from a local bar and was very intoxicated and passed out on train tracks and was killed.
I'm getting a similar feeling here that he was intoxicated and was killed due to misjudging where he was walking or passing out in a very bad place.

I couldn't view the video from this blog. This is a better link for anyone else who may be having the same issue.

Not trying to be rude/snarky or whatever but my thought is he wanted to leave and with another man.

Not knowing anything about the man, I certainly don't think, prematurely, that he has run off with another man.

It is my feeling (not necessarily based on SA concepts), that the girlfriend is genuinely worried, maybe with good reason, maybe not. The implication is there that incidents between them may have occurred that we know nothing about.

At this point, I think his girlfriend AND family members are totally befuddled and can understand how their thoughts might drift to the possibility of foul play.

In a Christmas message, Kate and Gerry McCann praised supporters for helping to keep alive hopes of finding their daughter.

As they face their eighth festive season without her, the McCanns said: “Once again we have been amazed this year by the support we continue to have for our search.

“Opening the hundreds of Christmas cards has once again been a truly humbling experience.

“The warmth, kindness and commitment to never forget has precipitated more than a few happy tears. Thank you.

“No matter where she is, Madeleine will, as always, be very much with us and our family this Christmas. Thank you for holding her in your hearts, too.”

Madeleine was three when she vanished from their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007.

Former GP Kate and heart doctor Gerry, both 46, of Rothley, Leicestershire, still believe their daughter, who would now be 11, could be alive.

They buy and wrap presents for Madeleine when buying for their other children, twins Sean and Amelie, aged nine.

The are left in the pink-themed bedroom which has become a shrine to her memory. The couple also paid tribute to Scotland Yard’s efforts to find the truth about what happened.

Operation Grange, the Yard’s multi-million pound re-investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance, has made what police call “significant progress” since it was launched in 2011

Extensive searches were made in the summer in and around the apartment where the family were staying. In the past few weeks, officers have travelled to Portugal to re-interview key witnesses.

The McCanns said: “It’s very apparent that the determination of the Metropolitan Police remains steadfast.”

Prayers will be said for Madeleine on Christmas Day at three churches in the family’s village.

OUR<not HER?
Do they not consider Maddie to be part of the family mccann?

This is unexpected even though almost 8 yrs have passed since she vanished (read murdered)
The first Christmas after the twins were born, Maddie was sent off to stay with relatives, Did this happen other Christmases as well?

The mccanns leaked that the twins didn't know Maddie all that well and wouldn't really miss her.
Was this because she was foisted off on other family members?

We know kate was pretty much never left alone with the children what with family flying in to help if they had a day or two off, even to the local nursery workers being roped in to help kate look after the children with bath times, babysitting and the like.
Was it because kate could not be trusted due to mental health issues such as PND?

Was it because kate simply couldn't cope?

Was it because kate had other health issues?

Was it because4 Maddie had health problems associated with coloboma and being IVF?

Was it because Maddie wasn't gerry's bio child unlike the twins?

The latter would explain the non bonding with Maddie, the dumping of her with other family members leading to the question were they planning on fostering her out.

It would explain also why kate, gerry and the twins are OUR family and Maddie isn't.

She was described by both parents as almost perfect along with various demeaning comments about her being demanding and screaming etc which is unexpected from the parents of a missing child.

She didn't fit into their idea of perfection, 2 high paying professional jobs, perfect blonde haired blued twins, a boy and a girl.
A nice house in a good area etc.

Did Maddie upset their idea of perfection?
She was defective, demanding and provoked whatever happened to her as per gerry referring to the situation she found herself(Maddie)in.

Once again the leak the truth about their feelings toward Maddie, why they never searched, why they never asked for the case t6o be kept open when offered the chance, why they refused to cooperate, why they were glad when the case was shelved, why, after 4 months they finally decided they could concentrate on finding Maddie, only after they spent the previous months working on repairing their reputation

Yes, his family appears free-spirited and zany as does his girlfriend, too. Perhaps he'll surface soon-alive and well.

Maidstone has a lot of foreigners. I hope he's OK but have a bad feeling about this. It is obviously out of character for him to disappear.
