Bill Cosby's Racist Comment

Bill Cosby has been accused of first drugging, and then sexually assaulting women.

He has always advised blacks not to "play the race card" in life.  Now, we have a statement from him that should be answered.

20 or more women have accused Crosby of drugging and sexually assaulting them.

We took one full statement from an alleged victim and analyzed it.  It showed veracity.

The statements from Bill Cosby have all been deflective statements.  He has refused to state that he did not commit such crimes.  In fact, in a 1969 comedic album, he jokes about drugging women for sex.

He has not only not issued a reliable denial, but has shown repeatedly that he has a need to avoid answering the allegation.

People rarely lie outright instead choosing to edit their words in manner which leaves out critical information:  lie by omission.

Now, he goes on the attack, a common tactic in the overall strategy of a deceptive person.  When one cannot answer the message, discredit the messenger.

We saw this in Lance Armstrong.

We saw Marion Jones go after USADA as a corrupt organization out to get her.

Now, it is not the rape victims he is answering, but the color of the person asking (or not asking) the questions!

I spend a lot of time (and energy) Human Services professionals how much damage liars do to their companies and how they can screen them out before being hired, by Statement Analysis.  Liars, rather than answer the allegations, often go after those who 'dare' challenge them, including the tearing down of companies, reputations and individuals in a 'scorched earth' policy.  Liars are not those who say how nice you look; they are those who put themselves first, before their company's material interests, and before the interests of their co workers.  They steal, cheat, and lie.  They are more times likely to "fall" down, and file a fake suit, which, in the least, is going to cost time and money to defend, and stress for all.

Avoidance is cheapest and best.

Here, Cosby has not filed suit, yet, but indicts non-black journalists and media for asking him about the allegations.

After spending years telling blacks that their own culture was keeping them down, he now seeks to curry favor with them with the following statement, after making professional threats against a CNN journalist who asked him to address the allegation.

"Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind."

The analysis of the victim is found HERE

Will he hear condemnation of such an obvious racist statement?

Al Sharpton has been paid not to cry "racists" at certain companies.  Will he speak up?  Eric Holder?

After Ferguson and the White House' portray of police officers as inherently racist, does our country need any more tearing apart by skin color?

Cosby, unable to answer the allegations, has now done what he has advised others not to do:  he has played the race card.

Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Allegations

An analysis by Mark McClish
Posted November 2014

Bill Cosby has recently come under fire. To date, sixteen women have claimed that comedian drugged and sexually assaulted them. The assaults allegedly occurred from 1965 - 2004. The allegations became public in 2005. Cosby has been defiant about answering the sexual assault allegations. On November 22, 2014, he told the newspaper Florida Today, "I know people are tired of me not saying anything, but a guy doesn't have to answer to innuendos."

People do not want to lie. Therefore, their statements are usually true. We can believe people are tired of Cosby not saying anything. We can believe he does not have to answer to innuendos. However, we only believe what people tell us. If a person does not tell us something, then we cannot believe it to be true. Since Cosby has not denied the allegations, we cannot believe they did not occur.

December 2014

The number of accusers has now risen to 20 women. Cosby again broke silence and told freelance journalist Stacy Brown, "Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind." Cosby continues to neglect to specifically address any of the rape or sexual assault allegations.

It reminds me of Clarence Thomas's statement about "high-tech lynching" in regards to the hearing about Anita Hall's and Angela Wright's accusations of sexual harassment - even though racism had nothing to do with his accusers nor the accusations being leveled against him by women coworkers.

The nerve of liars like this. The reality of who this man is has hit. He can not escape it...however, like with Michael Jackson will they "forget".

Michael Jackson was worse to me as it was very young children. Not to take from these victims, but I am always much concerned for children.

And the world loves him. He was a child molestor. Sure he was not convicted but one child described the underneath skin (he has that skin disease) of his male part and had a bell that rang If someone approached his bedroom door.

And at the end of the day, he had little boys sleep in his bed.

My cousin was at my house and this topic came up. She instantly defends him stating she doesn't think he did it.

My question to her then was (she's a mom) "if your 43 yr old neighbor (who is a family friend) invited ur son to spend the night in his bed, what would you say?"

She was defense and said "I say hell no and call would tell authorities"

My reply was "what's the difference"

She was quiet..

I think this will fade and he will be forgiven.

Sad truth about what being an actor, athlete or singer means in the world..that you can and will get away with murder.

Bill Cosby is notoriously racist. This is not news within the industry. Even as he publicly admonishes poorer blacks for their behavior and culture for keeping blacks as a whole trapped in a perpetuated stereotype of criminality, thuggishness, and ignorance, his disdain of whites is well known.

Which is VERY interesting to me considering that most-- if not ALL--of his victims were young white women and girls. Many blonde.

It makes me wonder if part of what drives his behavior is not just misogyny, and control issues, but racism.

As a young man was he once rejected by a white woman?

Anonymous said...

Droll Skeptic, Interesting question you ask about was Bill Cosby rejected by a white woman?

Ted Bundy's behavior was unleashed following a rejection by his girlfriend.

I feel Ted Bundy and Bill Cosby have some similarities including what seem to be a very high number of victims. Also Ted Bundy would render the victim unconscious by giving the victim a brutal head injury but the goal of rendering the victim unconscious seems to be the same.

I do get the feeling that Cosby's assault MO related to trying to replay something from the past.

Three odd things in his attack behavior after drugging the victim
:
1) asked several victims to wet their hair
2) asked several victims to pretend they were drunk
3) took one victim to a mirror and asked her to look at the "light around her"

He did seem to assault many white women.

Ted Bundy also attacked women who looked like his ex-girlfriend. That is a really good question. I wonder if Cosby was rejected in the past by a white woman.

I do feel that Bill Cosby is probably a necropholiac and his fixation on the victim wetting their hair down makes me wonder if he has killed before and perhaps drowned a victim.

The relatives of an eight-year-old girl who died as she was allegedly sexually abused by her father have heard horrific details in court of how her murdered body was found.

Hiawayi Robinson's body was found partially unclothed at a dumping ground in Prichard, Alabama on September 18 - two days after she was reported missing after heading out to meet her father.

Her crumpled body was surrounded by trash, her Hello Kitty t-shirt was pulled up and her purple shorts and underwear were pulled off one leg and hanging around the other knee, Agent Deric Taylor of the State Bureau of Investigations testified in court, Al.com reported.

The details emerged on Monday during a preliminary hearing in the case against her father, Hiawatha Robinson, 38. After the testimony, the judge ruled that a grand jury should hear the case.

During the hearing, Hiawayi's relatives cried softly - and one relative became so emotional that she fled from the courtroom, the website reported.

Robinson, who joined the search for his daughter when she vanished and made a public appeal for her safe return, has been charged with felony murder and first-degree sodomy.

The Mobile County District Attorney's Office believes Hiawayi died during a sexual assault but have not provided further information about how exactly she died.

Robinson's attorney, Jeff Deen, said that there is no DNA evidence connecting him to the case.

A swab was taken of the little girl's body and, while semen was found, the swab was contaminated and a DNA test could not be carried out, Deen said.

'They don't have any DNA connecting him to the case,' he told Al.com. 'They have some circumstantial evidence. The people that I've talked to that seem to just come up to me, that seem to know Hiawatha, they can't believe that he would be involved in something like this.'

But prosecutors believe the young girl's father was to blame.

'The facts will show that while engaging in sodomy in the first degree, Hiawatha Robinson Jr. caused the death of Hiawayi Robinson,' Mobile County District Attorney Ashley Rich said while announcing the charges last month.

Rich is waiting for more results from the FBI crime lab in Quantico and said there are 'dozens and dozens' of pieces of evidence.

In Alabama, the charge means someone is accused of engaging in 'deviant sexual intercourse' with someone under the age of 12, AL.com reported.

'Deviant sexual intercourse is defined in the law of the state of Alabama as sexual gratification involving the sexual organs of one person and the mouth or the anus of another person,' Rich said.

Rich would not say whether the alleged abuse by the father had been ongoing.

On the day she vanished, Hiawayi returned home from school to change her clothes because she was wet from the rain. Her father then called her and they spoke for 17 minutes, Taylor said.

Hiawayi then told her grandmother she was heading to her cousin's apartment in the same complex because her father was going to meet her there to give her $150 for her birthday.

But the cousin later told police she would not have been at the apartment at that time.

Hiawayi headed out and never returned home. She was reported missing by her grandmother around 10pm that evening.

cont.

Her body was found two days later around a mile from their home.

After she went missing, authorities looked at surveillance footage taken from businesses along a strip mall near their home and saw a red SUV driving along the road.

That day, her father had been driving his girlfriend's red Chevrolet Tahoe, authorities said.

In separate surveillance footage from a store that afternoon, Hiawayi could be seen buying candy and then heading in the direction where the SUV was seen.

Fifteen minutes after she left the store, her father called her grandmother to see where the little girl was, authorities said.

During a later search of his girlfriend's car, police found a clear hair bead, like those worn by Hiawayi, and black duct tape, Al.com reported.

After she was reported missing, the authorities and the community searched for her, and her parents, who are separated, appeared on television to appeal for information.

'I'm going through pain,' Robinson told Fox10 as he stood beside her mother, Yosha Populus.

'I've been up for the last 24 hours, I've been up all night searching for her - ain't had anything to eat, anything to drink, I ain't going to stop until it's over with - until she's in her home. That's all I want, that's all I ask for.'

When asked what he thought might have happened to her, he said: 'Nothing.'

'I don't believe nothing happened to her,' he said. 'I believe she's out there. She's out there. They just need to let her come home. Her daddy gonna find out what the f*** going on.'

Her mother also pleaded for information as she stood beside the girl's father.

After the arrest was announced, Populus's godfather, Kourney Adams, told Al.com: 'She's been praying it wouldn't be him.'

But he added that they were thankful that finally someone has been arrested.

'We thought they had given up,' he said. 'Thank you to the FBI and the Mobile and the city of Prichard for doing their job.'

If Robinson is found guilty of all current charges against him jurors would be unable to hand him the death penalty as he has not been charged with capital murder.

Ted Bundy was the first serial offender to come to mind for me, also...which I thought was odd since other than sheer numbers of female victims, and displaying a clear female physical type preference they would not seem to have much in common.

Maybe their are other parallels to Bundy we are both sensing but cannot specify?

Your suggestion about signs of necrophilia in Cosby, wet hair having some kind of ritualistic importance to him, and the possibility he actually may have drowned a prior victim is a chilling thought.

Hopefully all his victims survived, but it's rather miraculous that he didn't accidentally overdose any of these women, at the very least.

Add water to an equation involving an unconscious or semi-conscious victim and you definitely have the probability of a drowning (intended or otherwise).

Given the plethora of victims Cosby is thought to have drugged, probability alone makes such an occurrence likely!

This whole thing makes my skin crawl

Two more women who say they were sexually abused by Bill Cosby are joining a lawsuit charging the comedian with defamation, The Associated Press reports.

Therese Serignese and Linda Traitz, both from Florida, are joining a lawsuit that was filed last month by Tamara Green. The plaintiffs contend that statements from Cosby's lawyer, Martin Singer, in response to their claims have publicly branded them liars.

All three women say Cosby assaulted them in the 1970s after giving them drugs.

The number of women who have made similar claims against Cosby now stands at more than 20, but Cosby has flatly denied the accusations through Singer. Last month, Cosby reportedly hired private investigators to dig up dirt on his accusers.

It will be interesting to see what comes out as they answer this legitimate lawsuit which has NO statue of limitations problem! He is down for the count and grasping at straws. I can't wait to see someone smack the arrogance out of that mug. And at the risk of once again being told I'm letting my imagination run wild, I do believe Cosby will ultimately be connected to something even more sinister than what has been publicly revealed thus far.

And why oh why does the writer of this article say that Cosby has flatly denied the accusations? Has anyone seen a denial anywhere? I haven't!

Anonymous said...

Kellie,

I don't think that you are letting your imagination run wild. Rather, it is much more unlikely that Cosby's behavior never escalated to something more sinister. It would be very unlikely he kept his behavior only at one level of severity over the course of a large number of victims spanning decades. In fact, I hate to say it, but who the heck knows what he might have done? The people coming forward are mainly high profile type people, people who were at least employed, some by Hugh Heffner a friend of his, as well as a few women who were extremely famous celebrities. What about those Cosby may have encountered who had no ties to others, jobless and drug addicted, or prostitutes. We are hearing only from a pool of people who were connected to others, some very famous who would certainly have been missed had they vanished. What of those Cosby may have encountered who noone would have missed had they disappeared? A question that unfortunately should be pondered by anyone looking at the case. Also, if he had no qualms about drugging and raping extremely famous women, I cannot imagine why he would have had any qualms whatsoever about assaulting a prostitute or drug-addicted person with no ties to others.

"Cosby has flatly denied the accusations"

The media needs to STOP making those types of statements. He has NOT denied anything in any manner

trustmeigetit said...

Anon said "What of those Cosby may have encountered who no one would have missed had they disappeared?"

I totally agree...... AND.... Let's not forget, most of these cases.... Bill was connected to them via their managers. As a mentor. So there was a direct connection that he had to the victim. It's harder to deny involvement when someone knows you were spending time with them and traveled with them as some did.

I can only imagine what he may have done to those that like Kellie said were not "known".

And they say these types of individuals tend to progress in their crimes. I would not find it hard to imagine knowing statistically what happens that he went much further and there are bodies out there hidden that would never have had any real connection to him. It's those that he was known to be connected too that are speaking out..... The cops would be able to connect to him in some manner. Where the unknown, may be some of those bodies found with no suspects. Its I think very possible.

Phylicia Rashad is breaking her silence on the sexual abuse allegations against her longtime co-star Bill Cosby.

The 66-year-old Tony-winning actress, who co-starred with Cosby for 10 seasons as Clair Huxtable on NBC's The Cosby Show, defended the embattled comedian while speaking to Showbiz 411 at an event for the film Selma.

After first prefacing her comments by saying she didn't "want to become part of the public debate," she went on to say that she had never seen any behavior by Cosby to suggest there is any truth to the decades-old abuse allegations that have resurfaced in recent months.

"Forget these women," Rashad said of the many women who have made claims in the media. "What you’re seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it’s orchestrated. I don’t know why or who's doing it, but it's the legacy. And it's a legacy that is so important to the culture."

When asked about Janice Dickinson, who claims Cosby drugged and assaulted her, and Beverly Johnson, who alleges he drugged her, Rashad responded: "Oh, please."

She defended Bill's wife Camille Cosby, who has spoken out in defense of her husband. "This is a tough woman, a smart woman," said Rashad, who also co-starred with the actor on CBS' Cosby for four seasons. "She's no pushover."

"Someone is determined to keep Bill Cosby off TV," Rashad continued, referring to people other than the accusers. "And it’s worked. All his contracts have been canceled." She lamented that the legacy of the Cosby Show, a family-friendly comedy once beloved by millions of viewers, is now "being destroyed."

When asked why Cosby has chosen to largely remain silent in light of the claims, relying instead on his legal team to deny them, his longtime TV wife said: "If he spoke now, what do you think the media would do with it?"

~mj said...

Shame on Cosby's T.V. wife! If he isn't willing to speak out for himself, she's showing her ignorance by speaking out for him. What really matters to her is the legacy and what it means for blacks to have that legacy in tact. That is all she cares about, not truth, or morals... the legacy.

As for possible deeper crimes by Cosby: I can say with certainty that it is quite disturbing that a man in his position would rely so heavily on drugging first, then engaging in a series of repeated sexual abusive behaviors. It smacks of a very troubled soul to feed those skewed desires. With his fame, I am sure he would have had no problems bedding as many women as he desired, on the up and up though. Rather he desired, sought after and engaged in deviant ways to satisfy himself sexually, something is wrong and I would bet his real life wife is absolutely aware that something is off the mark on a sexual level with that man. At this stage, you couldn't convince me otherwise.

Hugh Hefner Responds To Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Allegations

Snipped:

Hugh Hefner responded to the recent sexual assault allegations against Bill Cosby, including one that allegedly occurred at the Playboy Mansion in 1974.

"Bill Cosby has been a good friend for many years and the mere thought of these allegations is truly saddening," the Playboy mogul wrote in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter. "I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."

"I would never tolerate this kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."

"This" is close. Why would he place himself to the "behavior" of others. I would expect distancing language.

"I would never tolerate that kind of behavior, regardless of who was involved."

What "kind of behavior" is he addressing, He doesn't specify. Is this is way of distancing himself away from the Cosby allegations. Although, using the word "this" places him close ?

MJ; I can't imagine why you feel Phylicia Rashad should feel ashamed of herself. As Clare Huxtable the TV wife to Bill Cosby for eleven years and beyond, and a long-time friend to him and to his wife and family, she has the right to voice her thoughts, feelings, beliefs and opinions just the same as you do.

Further, there are more careers at stake here than just Cosbys; there is Rashids' and the entire team of the Cosby Show, whose livelihood from reruns has also ceased. This is not fair to them. What have they done wrong? Nothing. They don't deserve to lose their income just because he has.

Why shouldn't she speak out, since she never witnessed Cosby committing any of these serial sexual wrongs and should be able to say so. That doesn't mean they never happened, but neither should she be prevented or ashamed for speaking her mind.

Anon @ 3:38,

"Forget these women," - Rashad is quoted as saying - Coupled with this bit from the article: 'When asked about Janice Dickinson, who claims Cosby drugged and assaulted her, and Beverly Johnson, who alleges he drugged her, Rashad responded: "Oh, please." ' - These are the points of interest that takes Rashad from commenting in support of her co-worker to plunking herself smack dab in the center of the mess, showing her ignorance and revealing what is really important to her.

Had she said something along the lines of, "I have never seen anything that would indicate Bill would do that" or "It's a shame we have to suffer financially because of these allegations..." then your point would stand and my comment would be out of line.

However, she didn't - her comments are shameful, ignorant and totally out of her place. Unless she was with him 24/7 and can positively provide proof that the abuse did or did not occur, her comments are insensitive and "legacy" focused to a fault. I believe it speaks volumes for her character.

Anonymous said...

Your comments are also out of place, MJ; telling Rashid how she should feel, think and what she should and should not say. Some nerve you've got trying to think for someone else when you have gone way beyond in your imagination as to what Cosby may or may not have done. You don't know anymore about these matters than she does since you weren't there either.

I suppose my sensitivities are showing! For the most part I'm not bothered by people who just have to criticize and condemn, but there are times..... I'm sure it's just another piece of psychological shrapnel from my own experience of sexual abuse. They still rise to the surface from time to time.
