Hiring: The Impact of Propaganda on Deception

The title might sound strange, since propaganda often contains deception, but it is a point of debate for us:

Some deception is attempt to persuade, while using imbalance as its tool, while other is much more blatant in its presentation to the point of fabrication of reality.

America and Europe is seeing propaganda in a level and scope that has superseded anything like it in World War I and World War II.

The propaganda of World War I was especially insidious.

I liken it to a journalist who interviewed a social service child abuse investigator in a suburb of New Jersey who portrays child abuse as common to the entire state of New Jersey so that the reader of the article is left with the impression:  Do not move to New Jersey lest your children certainly be abused because everyone there is an abuser.

The article could take a town of 30,000 citizens and give out five very real and very brutal cases of child abuse and present it as if the whole state was abusive.

In World War I, the propaganda about "the Hun" was similar:  it was so severe that relatively few examples of brutality were presented as the norm for German troops.

How bad was the British propaganda?

It was bad enough for Americans to, only twenty years later, dismiss allegations of whole scale murder of Jews as just more propaganda.

It had its cost. Initial reports of genocide were dismissed as "just more propaganda" from Europe.  It was too cruel to sound true.

In World War II, we saw propaganda films out of Hollywood which made bloodshed a "hoo-ray" like patriotic "excitement" for 18 year old males, with extreme testosterone levels want to "get to the action" only to meet up with life changing and life ending brutality that left even the support troops with scars.  When a film, like "December 7th" had too much carnage, the Army vetoed its release until it was edited down.

Franklin Roosevelt, indicated for deception in analysis denying his motives for war and socialism, had friends in Hollywood sympathetic to him make movies showing the superiority, for example, of a president who "needed to" deceive and suspend the constitution" with story lines that are chuckled at today, including 'the angel Gabriel coming to the president to advise him...' in the 30's.

The narrative itself was key to propaganda:  the story that was to be told, and it would be, at least in different times in history, challenging to find out who was behind the narrative and the familiar line of "follow the money" proved most often to be true.

Every narrative seeks to persuade, but would propaganda go to the point of sacrificing truth?

Today we continually apologize for the internment of Japanese American citizens with the narrative leaving the viewer with the impression:  not one single Japanese American was a spy for Japan.  This is 70 years hence and what is buried beneath the persuasion is the spying for Japan that did take place:  no stories are told any longer.  Thousands of loyal citizens were interned (but not murdered like in Germany, or tortured like in Japan), and the protection of the Constitution was voided, making its law unapplied to American citizens who had legally immigrated from Japan.  How could Americans discern when they saw even cartoons lampooning Japanese people, yet they also heard reports from Battaan of unspeakable cruelty by the Japanese.  As is most always the case:  the truth takes effort to discern, while the propaganda (or bumper sticker) is the candy of the lazy minded.

The pendulum often swings in great waves.

Do readers of Statement Analysis recognize the propaganda that takes place today?

I think about this a great deal while I read through the comments on the various articles especially in cases where a rush to judgement is much easier than working through a case in detail.

What are the various narratives that are presented today, even to the sacrifice of truth?

Who is behind these narratives?

The second question is best answered by following the money line.

Negate the laws of the land regarding illegal immigration by a ruling class and who will the millions vote for?

Who owns the factories that produced the arms that were stockpiling up due to poor sales, just prior to the outbreak of World War I?

A small example:

Do you note any difference between photos and videos regarding the European migrant crisis?

I have noticed the abundance of photos show women and children, but when I watch the videos, I see the exact opposite.

Someone, somewhere, will benefit from the propaganda and the money trail, often through votes, is not that difficult to follow.

But what impact does today's propaganda have upon deception, overall, in our country?

This impact is as predicted:  a certain de-sensitizing of the populace regarding deception takes place to the point where what shocked the public on Monday, bored them on Thursday, but by Saturday, it was embraced.

Even when the narrative seeks to destroy truth, people go from shock, to indifference, to embracing.

Barak Obama talked about how the White House hosted the first "Ramadan Dinner" that Thomas Jefferson held for a visiting dignitary.

Question:  Can you report what critical information he omitted from this account of history?

An entire movement "Black Lives Matter" is founded upon an event that did not take place.  "Hands Up! Don't Shoot" is costing lives and it did not happen but that which was met with outrage, with "It is not true!" went to a stale indifference, to inviting an organization that is causing harm to citizens  to the White House, granting it legitimacy. Police are demonized as racist bullies all across America, and it is leading to more violence.

How about a more innocuous news story?

What about the 14 year old boy invited to the White House?

What do you know about him?  Is he a Muslim hero who was justly invited to the White House to show how "Islamophobia" has run amok, or, was the truth something that took more time to learn?

For most people, the headline is enough, but it is my hope that readers here not only complete the article, but use the analytical discernment while reading and seek truth.

Who do you think the average 18 year old American believes:

Jack Black on the Iran Nuclear Deal, or...

The Ayatollah of Iran?

I think most of you get the point and this is the point for businesses hiring in America:

It is becoming more and more acceptable to lie and this is not only seeping into courts and juries, but into the new generation of potential workers who have less commitment to truth and honesty than those you may have previously hired.

Crime is up.

Violent crime among females is up dramatically in 30 years.

Theft is up.

Deception is becoming rewarded and corporations that do not screen for deception are setting themselves up for loss, even with the millions of dollars spent on security making outright theft more difficult.

The emergence of "The Victim" in America is a direct threat to truthful employers who wish to pay an honest wage for an honest day's work.  Each day, a new victim status is claimed and suits are filed.

Two high school kids blindsided a ref in a football game.  Both of these kids were strong and well armed with strong helmets and shoulder pads.  The victim was much older, and had no protection on to blunt the blows.

The kids assaulted him and he is now being investigated because the kids said he called them names.

The kids were the "victims" of a "hate crime", as they claimed he was a racist.

Smart move.

Would you like to hire either of these two?  Would you be comfortable believing that they would, if push came to shove, report honestly what happened in your company?

Do you feel comfortable knowing that neither of these two will resort to work place violence if insulted?

Do you recognize that their violence was pre-mediated?

Do you recognize that their violence was without warning and gave the older man no chance to protect himself?

Seattle Police were prepared to let Cynthia Witlach keep her job if she only admitted lying.  (this is to show a lack of understanding into the nature of a pathological liar)  Although I give them "kudos" for firing her, what could they have possibly be thinking about keeping such a dangerous and damaged racist on the force?  Could it be they feared her claiming "victim status" for her sexuality?

Attacks are up against police and the response has been "Police Lives Matter, too!" and some very angry comments directed to the White House about his propagation of hate towards both police, and authority in general.  Statistics are deliberately manipulated to encourage anarchy and the result is now violence against police.

One police chief called "Black Lives Matter" a "terrorist" group.  Why?  Because they marched chanting slogans about killing police.

He lost his job.

I read about the Oktoberfest in Germany today.

The "multiculturalism" narrative took a black eye when one of the politicians said that not only did they need to keep the migrants away from the festival, they had to separate the different "types of migrants" from each other due to violence.

One news article portrayed the migrants as "saintly" while portraying the Germans as beastly drunks "vomiting in the streets" as an "affront" to the migrants.  The same news story elsewhere stated that the campaign to stop Oktoberfest "was a fake", yet, the website only verified that the Dutch citizen, himself, closed the campaign.

So, which is it?

Are the migrants intolerant of the German festival, or are the Germans drunken louts without culture who deserve to be overrun by another culture?

We now learn that Germany's "about face" in closing off its border was due to the 1.2 billion euro festival that brings 6 million tourists in so suddenly, with the reminder of the money, they closed their border and even announced a cut back in welfare to future migrants.  Will the border remained this "closed" in 2 weeks when Oktoberfest is complete?  Stay tuned.

The truth can be sacrificed to the narrative.

The police were portrayed as bullies for arresting a 14 year old boy who had, depending upon which news story you follow, marvelously built an alarm clock, showing how wonderful Muslim intellects really are, who was then invited to the White House by the President, himself, highlighting yet another Muslim addition to Yankee ingenuity, and a slap in the face at "Islamophbia" and those "evil police" or...

did he, as police now say, act "passive aggressive", refuse to answer questions, and deliberately know that he was going to create a panic?

In fact, a video came out showing that he did not build a clock at all; he just took apart an old one from the 70's.

Which do you believe?

In fact, as you go through news stories, you will find that "narrative", that is, what one wishes to convey, is often very consistent in its presentation.

Did Hillary Clinton erase thousands of emails, or "just a few personal ones"?

Some narratives carried her "care and concern" about "women who are victims of sexual assault", while refusing to play the audio (or carry the story) of how she pummeled a little girl victim of rape, portraying her as promiscuous, even heard laughing about it?

Which do you believe?

Most will simply follow the herd which may be their political party.

This has always been and will always be, unless discernment and critical thinking becomes more popular.

Regardless of your discernment, millions of people do not discern and as deception becomes more and more acceptable, to the point of being praised, these "millions" of people are today and tomorrow's jury pools, and they are your future employees.

Businesses must use discernment because, still, well documented truth is the best defense against the most trending popular form of larceny:  the fraudulent suit.

Human Resource professionals must have the tools to exercise discernment, if nothing more than to understand that if in 2001 40% of applicants had theft of some form planned, what is the climate of our society today, 15 years later?

What is our attitude towards deception?

Who and what is blamed, and why?

The bulwark against clever larceny of any time is set up with pre-employment interview screening questions.

While shrinkage continues to hurt corporate America and impact prices and wages, insurance costs are becoming prohibitive to small business.  Payouts to fraudulent claims are less expensive and taxing than fighting in court...

the company has well documented proof to the contrary.

This, alone, has a heavy psychological impact upon the one making the fraudulent claim and nothing is faster in taking the wind out of the lying thief's sails than viewing the documentation that is true, short, bold and plainly presented, that he is attempting to extort money by fraudulent means.

This is for those who make it through the door past the screening process.

The reduction in theft, unemployment and insurance is a strong motivation for discernment in hiring. The training is critical. The propaganda of today infects especially the young people; those who in the  upcoming months and years, will be applying for jobs.

The acceptance is part of the power of propaganda and an entire generation of kids are growing up seeing how lies and liars are rewarded.

This must be considered when you seek to hire the "best and brightest" for your company.  The smaller the business, the greater the impact one deceptive person can have.

For more information on how to host a training, or for individual courses, see HYATT ANALYSIS

The following quote from an "article" on the clock/bomb/boy is propaganda, eh? I am waaaay older that this 14-year-old and I recall the digital clock from years ago. Maybe around the 8-track tape era.

In the meantime, Ahmed — who says he’ll never take an invention to school again — is at home with his family. “He just wants to invent good things for mankind,” Ahmed’s father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, said. “But because his name is Mohamed and because of Sept. 11, I think my son got mistreated.”

"Statistics are deliberately manipulated to encourage anarchy"

There it is, right there Peter. The people that view the so called statistics without investigating further to find out exactly where those statistics come from, are the ones that fall easily into joining an "anarchist" movement. Wiki said it, so it must be true. There's a youtube video showing it, so it must be true. It's on FB, so it must be true.

Planned Parenthood...sacrificing the truth...follow the money....comes to mind for me.

What is scary about all this uncontrolled immigration is that at least 80% are not from syria.
We have no idea who is who.
We have no way to control who is let in, with each nation defending its own borders and passing the buck.
We have them using fake ids or simply destroying their papers and claiming to be from a country they are not native to.

The worse thing is, by saying syrians will be given asylum, every man and his pet goat will automatically claim to be syrian.
it6 will get to a point where the millions of immigrants claiming to be from syria will outnumber the actual known population of syria.

What concerns me and should concern everyone is, that with the eu run as it currently is, tthey can claim asylum in any country and once it is granted and they become residents, they can then enjoy freedom of movement anywhere in the eu which means they will all end up here in the UK claiming every benefit going whether they are entitled or not.

We can barely cope as it is with schools, hospitals and housing availability or on the verge of collapse.

Germany's leader was happy to announce they would accept up to 800,000 a year without asking how her citizens felt.
Me thinks they said this planning on forcing all member nations to accept a sh*t load of illegals regardless of if they could cope or not.

Our biggest mistake (apart from joining the common market which was a lie in order to create the eu) is rescuing all the illegals making boat crossings and landing them in Greece and Italy.
Both countries are in dire economic trouble and, will end up bailing from the eu to save their own country's.
What we should be doing is any illegals caught in boats be towed back or rescued and taken back to where ever they left from.
A few days/weeks of doing this would stop the flood dead, why risk your lives and waste thousands in money to smugglers when you will end up right where you left from.

Those escaping from syria, iran, iraq, afghanistan etc should be instead directed to neighboring muslim countries where they will feel right at home.

Saudi arabia has enough permanent tents set up to house millions, as they do every year for the hajj.

Why is it it is mostly young males that are illegally trying to get into europe?
Why are they leaving their families at home where they face the alleged death and mistreatment claimed by illegal immigrants?

They hate the west and call America the great satan and are intent on wiping us all out yet they are desperate to gain admission.
Is this a way of conquering the west and turning it into a caliphate using 'peaceful means' rather than bombing us into submission?

How better to gain control of a country than by changing it from the inside, outbreeding the national population, protesting and demanding changes and concessions to suit their beliefs, making impossible to run the country as it was and instead running the country according to the laws and beliefs of the immigrant population.

It is the same with disasters, the west donates and helps those muslim countries affected whilst the rst of the muslim world turns a blind eye.

What will happen when the atrocities start?
As it stands now, the schengen treaty is in tatters with countries closing their borders or creating a passageway for the immigrants to stampede through to the next country.

Those already in should be sent straight back to the first safe country they got to and we should then send them back to their own country or country of departure from that country.

Peter, If you decide to do an analysis on this case, I will transcribe the parents interview also.

This is transcription of Bill Spedding homemade video cast, denying culpability and a POI in the disappearance of William Tyrrell in Australia. William, age 3, disappeared from his grandmothers yard while mom, grandma, and 4 year old sister were all in the yard also. He just "vanished"

“Hello, I’m Bill Spedding. My wife Margaret and I offer the Tyrrell family our sincere commiserations in the tragic event of William’s disappearance,” he says in the video.
“I wish to state that I have had no involvement whatsoever in the disappearance of William Tyrrell.”
“I have noted in the media that some events have been reported inaccurately,” he says.
“I wish to clarify those details. I first attended the Tyrrell house on Tuesday the ninth of September 2014 to repair a washing machine. I returned to complete the repair of the washing machine on Thursday 18th September 2014. I have not been in the Tyrrell house or to the Tyrrell house or to the street before, between or after these dates.
“The media have reported that I was supposed to attend the Tyrrell house on the 12th September 2014, this being the day of William’s disappearance. I wish to make it perfectly clear that this claim is completely false. I didn’t make any indication of any nature which would lead to any person to believe that I was to attend the Tyrrell house on the 12th September 2014.”
“I appeal to anyone who may have any further information to urge them to contact Crime Stoppers on 1300 333 000. Thank you very much.”

I don't care what dad wants to call this, a briefcase with a count down clock (what he actually brought to school) looked nothing like a homemade clock.

Had someone walked on a plane with they would have been taken down.

The teacher was being precautious and considering kids do bring weapons to school and do kill other students, anything else would have been wrong.

His dad can call this what ever he wants but this looked like a bomb NOT a clock.

This whole story goes right back to the media turning this into something it's not.

Not printing the facts.

And Mr Oboma...I promise if that kid was walking towards him with that "clock" I don't think he would be inviting him to the White House.

What do you think of the kid who took a home-made clock to school and was accused of having made a bomb? I found this article that strongly suggests he did not build the clock at all, simply removed the case from an old clock and put the innards into the "pencil case". It is pretty convincing. What do you think?

Sheriff's office concerned about missing Brush girl

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office is still looking for a missing Brush girl and needs your help.

Monique Valles, 16, was last seen about 10 p.m. Sept. 12 at her residence south of Brush and was gone the next morning. Monique attends Brush High School and was working at Eben Ezer in Brush. There is no known vehicle associated with Monique.

"Since it has been almost a full week without any credible sightings or contact with her family, we are certainly concerned about her welfare," Sheriff Jim Crone wrote in a press release.

Monique is 5-0, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She left with her dog, a boxer with a full-size tail. The dog is not chipped.

The sheriff's office is aware of Monique having a boyfriend from out of state and has had phone contact with a person who claims to be the boyfriend. However, if anyone has any direct knowledge of Monique being with him, or planning on meeting with him, you should contact the sheriff's office, or her father, immediately, the sheriff said.

There has been no known contact by anyone with Monique, but the sheriff's office thinks there may be people who have seen or heard from her , and it asks those people to come forward.

Monique faces no real criminal trouble at this point, the sheriff said, if she has only run away. However, anyone assisting her in being a runaway may very well face charges, so they need to come forward before this gets any worse or something happens to Monique, the sheriff said.

I know you asked Peter but I think there was way more too this.

Not even touching on the fact this was NOT a clock...and had this been taken into a plane he WOULD ha w been detained......

But it almost feels like a plow to claim racism.

And we'll it worked if it was the plan.

The thing that stood out to me was how he immediately stated where he wanted to go to school. And he got thousands of dollars of products from Microsoft, a visit to the white house, a possible future job off from the CEO of Facebook and who knows what else.

Again I ask "if this device was taken into a plane or brought near Mr Obama himself, what would have happened"

Again not a clock. Didn't look or act like a block. It was a case with a countdown clock.

I know only a few people may see reason in this comment - but it is no coincidence Obama tweeted an invite to Ahmed so fast, all of the hoaxes of late have gotten a very public validation from Obama. There is a chain of communication for all these events and Obama is a link in that chain. I suspect he is informed when to respond to specific events in the news and with exactly what tone. You could call it "conspiracy" but I think it's just our reality. There are a lot of players involved in these very publicized fraudulent "events" and the players are very organized.

Clock boy doesn't want to go to his school anymore, so his father has withdrawn him.

The family of a 14-year-old Muslim student who got in trouble over a homemade clock mistaken for a possible bomb withdrew the boy on Monday from his suburban Dallas high school.

Ahmed Mohamed’s father, Mohamed El-Hassan Mohamed, said he has pulled all of his children from schools in the Irving independent school district. Mohamed said the family is still deciding where to send the children to school.

Ahmed said he brought the clock he made to MacArthur high school in Irving last week to show a teacher. Officials say he was arrested after another teacher saw it and became concerned.

Ahmed was not charged, but he was suspended from school for three days.

“Ahmed said, ‘I don’t want to go to MacArthur,’” Ahmed’s father told the Dallas Morning News. “These kids aren’t going to be happy there.”

News of the arrest sparked an outpouring of support for Ahmed, including from President Barack Obama.

The turmoil surrounding Ahmed’s case has had a harmful effect on the teen, Mohamed said, adding his son has lost his appetite and is not sleeping well.

“It’s torn the family and makes us very confused,” Mohamed said.

Numerous schools have offered to enroll Ahmed, his father said. But Mohamed said he wants to give his son a break before making a decision.

He said his entire family plans to fly to New York on Wednesday, where United Nations dignitaries want to meet his son. Then, if the appropriate visas can be obtained, Mohamed wants to take his son on a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

“I ask Allah to bless this time. After that, we’ll see,” Mohamed said.

When they return, a visit to the White House and a meeting with Obama is in the works, he said.

2-year-old Rockford boy not abducted, still missing

ROCKFORD — The Rockford Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 2-year-old boy, Kyrian Knox.
Kyrian is described as African-American, about 30 inches tall, 35 pounds, and has low cut black hair and brown eyes.
On Sunday, police announced the child was reported missing Thursday, but said the exact date and time Kyrian was last seen was not clear.
Monday, police said Kyrian is not believed to be abducted, one of the primary guidelines for the issuance of an AMBER Alert. He was last seen in the care of a family friend prior to his disappearance.

Rockford police detectives have been working non-stop with the family and several law enforcement agencies to investigate all leads, Rockford Police Lt. Carla Redd said.
Police would not say where the boy was living or identity the "family friend."
Furthermore, police do not know exactly how long the boy has been missing and would not reveal who reported the child missing.

"There really isn't much more that we can say without jeopardizing the case," Redd said.
If you have information regarding Kyrian Knox, call the Rockford Police Department at 815-987-5824 or Crime Stoppers at 815-963-7867.

It was a clock. It was his father's old Radio Shack alarm clock, removed from the housing and installed in a pencil case. Note the snooze alarm button, 9V backup battery connection, ribbon cable, and other options found in a commercial alarm clock, including screen-printed circuit boards and AC power cord. Most hobbyists work with battery power not AC.
How wasthis clock meant to keep time unless it was plugged in? And if it had to be plugged in to work, what is the purpose of puttint it in a "portable" case? The case doesn't even have an opening for the cord to exit, providing a way to plug it in with the case closed.
Now, the alarm apparently went off in class, which started the chain of events reported... Since there was no power to it (photos show no backup battery was installed) how could that have happened? He would have had to be sitting by an outlet, with the case open enough to allow the cord to be plugged in. It just doesn't add up.
Now he gets scholarships, Space Camp & tours of Facebook and the White House, plus a boatload of Microsoft swag.
It was not modified in any way... Not a "countdown" clock, just a 1980s era bedside clock.

Missing toddler in Rockford, possible connection to heinous Chicago case

Missing toddler in Rockford, possible connection to heinous Chicago case

A mother of a missing toddler with ties to Rockford is sending out a plea to help find her son. The investigation has Rockford police looking at all possible connections, including a recent investigation in Chicago, according to this story on 13 WREX.
Rockford police issued a news release Sunday that Kyrian Knox, 2, had been reported missing Thursday from a home in Rockford. But it's unclear exactly how long he's been missing. Chicago police were in Rockford on Friday. They took DNA from the mother of the missing toddler.

Just more than two weeks ago, Chicago police found the dismembered body of a toddler in Garfield Park in Chicago. They have not been able to identify that boy yet, and when 13 News asked Rockford police if the two cases could be connected, they said there is no definitive connection, but that they are looking at all avenues.

Chicago police released this statement: "The Chicago Police Department is aware of the missing juvenile out of Rockford, IL. We continue to investigate each and every lead. The investigation is still open and ongoing."
The mother of Kyrian Knox said she doesn't think her son is dead. She said he is out there waiting to be found.

This is not a quote. That is, unless, it is lazy journalism.

"He has a really great smile, and he's really friendly," said Lanisha Knox.
Knox said that Kyrian loves race cars, balls and playing on the swings at the park. She brought her son to Rockford on August 18. She said she was in the process of moving from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Chicago. She had family friends in Rockford who agreed to care for her son.

Knox said she would call regularly, but Kyrian never spoke to her. She said he would just listen to her talk to him. Knox said she called Thursday, but the friend didn't pick up the phone, so she sent a text.

If this is true, why not quote her. It does annoy me when reporters / journalists say, such a person said this, and it is not quoted.

"I said this is Lanisha, I'm calling to talk to Kyrian. She said, 'Wait, what? I'm confused.' She never let on that my kid was gone," Knox says.
Knox said she found out that her son was missing Thursday night when the Rockford Police Department called her. She said they were at her friend's home in Rockford and told her that Kyrian was missing.

Again, this is not quoted.

"They said, did you have anyone come pick him up, and I'm like, no," says Knox. "They told me the child was gone."

Knox said she has been in Rockford since Thursday. She met with Rockford police and detectives from the Chicago Police Department.
"Obviously a toddler was found in Garfield Park, and it's very similar in age to your son. Do you think that's your son?" asked 13 News reporter Rebecca Klopf.

This "report" is very choppy (sloppy, if you will) and, although it is, the distancing language is noted.

Even if she is "quoting" what has been relayed to her, i still would expect her to drop the article "the" and replace it with "my", taking ownership. My "child" was gone. Also replacing "was" with "is".

I'm going to keep an eye on this.

A red flag is just a red flag and is noted. More information needed.

My apologies for another OT.

Does the death of a loved one whom was reported (missing) have an impact on pronouns, as in a need to share, whether innocent, guilty, or having guilty knowledge?. wanting to include others in the bereavement and looking for comfort.

Body Found In Yellow Hummer Linked To Missing Reading Mother

READING (CBS) – A body found in a yellow Hummer in Londonderry, New Hampshire Tuesday afternoon has been identified as that of a missing Reading mother.
State and local police had asked for the public’s help in their search for 48-year-old Dorothy Lessard Brownsberger, who had just moved to Reading.

Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement that Brownsberger had died.
“This is no longer considered a criminal investigation and no additional information will be released,” Ryan said.

Brownsberger was last seen by her husband leaving their home around 9 a.m. Sunday.
My wife came into the bedroom and said ‘Hey, I’m going to run out for some milk for (her 11-year-old son) Liam’s breakfast. I’ll be right back for church.’ That’s the last time we’ve seen her,” her husband Ben told reporters earlier on Tuesday.
“She left her phone here, so she didn’t plan to be gone for more than a minute. She hasn’t accessed any money,” he said. “The only thing she had was, maybe, 20 bucks or so on her in cash.”

Brownsberger, who’s also known as Dottie, may be driving her 2007 yellow Hummer with the Massachusetts license plate 785-JP1.
She’s a cystic fibrosis survivor who underwent a double lung transplant and a kidney transplant. She went on to win a gold medal at the U.S. Transplant Games. Overcoming her condition is one of her greatest accomplishments, but it’s also of great concern now that she’s been gone more than 48 hours.
Ben Brownsberger said his wife needs her transplant medications or she will become sick and disoriented without them.

“She’s insulin dependent to a degree so if she hasn’t taken it in 24-48 hours she could lose consciousness,” he said.

“She is diabetic and she is on anti-rejection medications,” Dottie’s friend, Melissa Cassol, told reporters. “We’re not really sure what kind of state she’s in right now.”

Reading police say she is 5-feet, 4-inches tall, with long brown hair. She weighs about 105 pounds.
Her husband said it’s simply out of character for her to just leave(not quoted) without notice.
“There’s plenty of reasons for her to be here. It just doesn’t make any sense that she would take off on her own volition, so, we’re just hoping for the best right now,” he said.

Brownsberger said they moved to Reading three weeks ago to be closer to her ex-husband, who shares joint custody of their son.
Cassol said there had been tense conversations between Dottie and her ex, but that Dottie would never leave her son.

“She lives, breathes, sleeps, does everything for Liam. I mean that is her life,” she said.

My biggest issue with this whole clock nonsense is the fact that the kid is FOURTEEN years old!

It's not like he is some 6-7yo kid, who had no understanding of how his 'clock' would be received. Also, factor in the fact that his Dad is an Islamic activist, who has been involved in several controversial Islamic issues, and it's clear this was nothing but a set up!

Hi, Jen

What as yet to be mentioned in the Media, (i haven't seen anything) is, that could've been a dry run for something more sinister to follow.

Ahmed's father, Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed, is a Sudanese immigrant, who ran for president in Sudan twice. Mohamed had previously made headlines while trying fight against Islamophobia. Mohamed told CNN “it was an alarm clock that he made. He wakes up with it most mornings,” while Ahmed told Dallas News he made the clock in 20 minutes the night before taking it to school.

"Fake Hate"

John Mc Gowan said...

Was it premeditated! Set up! Planned. Someone has a hand in this other than what is being reported and are pulling strings.

"Numerous schools have offered to enroll Ahmed, his father said. But Mohamed said he wants to give his son a breather before making a decision. He said his entire family plans to fly to New York on Wednesday, where United Nations dignitaries want to meet his son. Then, if the appropriate visas can be obtained, Mohamed wants to take his son on a pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia."

I read it was a countdown clock. Not an alarm clock.

I still don't think it needs to be called a clock. And I'm not sure what he invented. He just put some random parts together.

UPDATE: Search Continues For Missing 2-Year-Old Boy

ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police plan to address the media for the first time since a toddler was reported missing on Thursday.

A media briefing surrounding the disappearance of Kyrian Knox will be held at 11:30 on Wednesday.

Chicago Police are now involved in the investigation, collecting DNA evidence from the boy’s family. 2-year-old Kyrian Knox’s disappearance was reported last Thursday after police say he was last seen in Rockford with a family friend.

Knox’s mother Lanisha says he was being watched for several weeks by her best friend’s father. Lanisha says she was told that man handed her son off to someone who claimed to have permission from Lanisha to allow the exchange. We had a chance to speak with Lanisha via Apple FaceTime late Monday evening.

“Ever since Thursday, we have been trying to figure out who could have come and got him,” said Lanisha Knox.

“When is the last time you talked to your son?” asked 23 News Anchor Whitney Martin.

“His disappearance was reported Thursday, but that’s not how long he’s been gone. And since my son is a 2-year-old we put the phone to his ear, he won’t say anything. So we talked to her dad everyday up until September 6th and at that point his 2-year-old son had broke his phone so contact was a little off,” said Knox.

“So the last time you heard of the well-being of your son was September 6? What do you think happened?” – WM

“I really don’t know. It’s in the air, trying to figure it out,” says Knox.

We will let you know as soon as anything develops.

UPDATE: ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police are continuing their search for a missing toddler.

Police were called Thursday about 2-year-old Kyrian Knox being missing, but are not saying much because they say it's still an active investigation.

Police say they do not believe Kyrian was abducted which is one of the primary guidelines for an Amber Alert to be issued. They say they believe Kyrian was with a family friend before he disappeared.

Kyrian is a black 2-year-old boy with short black hair, brown eyes, about 30” tall, and around 35 pounds.

Anyone with information should call Rockford Police at 815-987-5824 or Crime Stoppers at 815-963-7867.

I think school officials who alerted police, got the bomb dry run boy and his suspicious case out of there, those are the people who did a really good job and deserve our attention.
Those school officials are the same ones who keep your kids from harm during school hours. Obviously they did a good job here.

And it looks a lot more like a bomb than a clock.

In fact it looked nothing like a clock.

And if he carried this on a plane we know people would freak. Period.

School handled right.

It did not look innocent.

A box with a count DOWN digital readout.

People keep calling it a clock. It did not tell the time.

Where is the "countdown timer"? It was just an alarm clock. The alarm went off in his English class. But it was not reported as being plugged in and images show a 9V battery backup connection with no battery. So his did the alarm go off with no power source?

LisaB said...

He did not. If I scrape Jif into a mason jar, did I invent peanut butter? No. I did not even MAKE peanut butter. I moved it from one container to another. The device was a Radio Shack clock with the housing removed. Its innards were placed, unaltered, un modified, with no features added or disabled, non parts installed or removed, put into a pencil case. No soldering, no building of circuit boards. A plain clock. Not a countdown, and in no way made or built by Ahmed.

From Ahmed on the Dallas Morning News:
"I closed it [the pencil box] with a cable, BECAUSE I didn't want to unlock it TO make it seem like a threat, SO I just used a simple cable, SO it won't look that much suspicious."

Look carefully at this statement. He tells exactly what he meant to do.

As an aside, I know two Syrian families. Neither own a pet goat.

If racism, prejudice and Islamophobia are all fake, what led Ben Carson -- a leading Republican presidential candidate -- to make the following statement . . .?

“I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation."

Ahmed's sister got suspended for 3 days:

“I got suspended from school for three days from this stupid same district, from this girl saying I wanted to blow up the school, something I had nothing to do with.”

“I got suspended and I didn’t do anything about it and so when I heard about Ahmed, I was so mad because it happened to me and I didn’t get to stand up, so I’m making sure he’s standing up because it’s not right. So I’m not jealous, I’m kinda like—it’s like he’s standing for me.”

Eyman said her suspension was in her first year of middle school, “my first year of attempting middle school in America. I knew English, but the culture was different, the people were different.”

And here she might be practicing for her role in "Cyrano de Bergerac":

This concerns me. First of all closing with a cable? And so it would not look suspicious?

If your thinking it could look that way I would suggest not. Especially when bombings do happen and his race is probably the highest percentage of those doing it.

Doesn't mean everyone does but he clearly knew it could look bad and choose to still do it.

"I got suspended from school from this stupid same district, from this girl saying I wanted to blow up the school, SOMETHING I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH."

"Something" puts form to the idea. Did she know about "something"?

Unknown said...

Yes! My thoughts exactly!

Sooooo, sister is suspended for 'something' to do with blowing up the school, (that she had nothing to do with) then poor innocent and utterly clueless FOURTEEN year old brother 'invents' a device that looks like a bomb, and brings it to school. (When even by his own words he was conscious of the fact that it looked suspicious, and could "seem like a threat".

Got it....

trustmeigetit said...

Sure does seem odd that 2 kids from
The same family both were totally innocent yet suspended for possible threats.

And to the comment above where someone asked where I got that the "clock" was a countdown...I read that on several articles but when I tried to find anything official I could not. And interestingly enough...there is not a single photo of anything but the inside of the box.

So could still be true, but I can not find anything to confirm or deny.

How suspect is is that there are ALL these reasons to be suspect of the clock story and yet the news does not admit they needed to investigate further. And they are not investigating further.

Anonymous said...

Nobody likes admitting they're wrong. The best they can do is shut up and hope it goes away.
