Amanda Blackburn Murder & Pronouns Examined

Question for Analysis:

Is it possible that the husband of murder victim Amanda Blackburn uses the pronoun "we" because he sees himself as connected to divinity?

Let's examine this.

The more one speaks, the more sample we have for analysis, and the broader the reference point or "baseline" we have to work with.

Pronouns are intuitive and are used to solve crimes.  How powerful are pronouns?

When someone goes from "I" to "we" without any contextual justification, it is due to guilt.  This is commonly found in case after case, from murder to theft, and is so common, in fact, that parents and teachers pick it up in children.

It is done to either hide within a crowd, or spread out the guilt, psychologically, as it lessens the impact of guilt. This guilt is not always the 'conscience' or cognizance of having failed morally, but a negative reaction in some solely wishing not to be caught.  True sociopaths feel this stress or guilt, as it is commonly called, even if they care for no one other than their own selves.

In the murder of Amanda Blackburn, there is a list of coincidence which investigators say point to this murder being not random nor exclusively a home invasion.  Here is why:

Home invasions are for the purpose of quick profit.

Investigators say most home invasions target the victim specifically for wealth, especially for cash, as in drug dealers.  Others will grab the most valuable easily carried and pawned items for quick sale.  The younger the invaders, the more unpredictable, including the penchant for violence. However, sexual homicide is not something expected to be seen.

In this murder, a reporter disclosed "sexual assault" which was later on refuted.

The removal of the victim's clothing is a sexual assault unless there is another explanation such as "staging", or corpse removal.  Since she was left still alive, corpse removal is not likely.  This leaves sexual assault or appearance (staging) of sexual assault and the journalist was correct, even if no forensic evidence is conclusive.  Was this an intended rape?  Did she fight off the rapist who then shot her?

Yet, even this is strange:  she was shot three times.

The point of shooting her more than once was to kill her; as a single shot would likely end any fight or struggle, and speaks more to an execution.

Police had video of the shooter or gang, outside the home, and knew, with "100% accuracy" that the husband, Davey Blackburn, was not the shooter.

Video tape evidence at the gym showed him there during the time period of which the victim was likely shot.  This was something, while the shooter was not arrested, was stated with emphasis by police:  removing doubt that Blackburn was the shooter, but the investigation had to continue.  They needed to learn:

Why was Amanda Blackburn murdered?

This would eventually answer more questions, including:  Is the husband responsible for the murder?

This is the question that has been debated greatly in newsgroups.

Circumstantial:

1.  The husband was obsessed with work.
2.  The wife complained of his obsession with work.
3.  The husband said it was a bad marriage and gave specific sexual complaints against her.
4.  The husband said the marriage got worse with pregnancy.
5.  Pregnancy demands interfere with work obsession.
6.  The husband said he had sexual temptation at the gym.
7.  The wife was shot while he was at the gym.
8.  The husband brandished a gun at work 2 days prior.
9.  The wife died from a gun. Criminal psychologists ask "Was this on his mind at the time?"
10. The husband spent one hour, each Tuesday, on the phone with the same person, the day Amanda was killed.  On this day, however, the bulk of the call was in the driveway:  he did not enter the home.

The wife became pregnant, again, and now is removed from the equation.

Linguistically, Blackburn uses the language of guilt.

1.  Distance from the victim
2.  Subtle disparagement of the victim
3.  Distance language from family
4.  Distance language from impact
5.  No linguistic fear of killer
6.  Pronouns

Pronouns.

In repeated statements and questions related to the murder of Amanda, Blackburn uses the pronoun "we", rather than "I", even when seated alone.

When asked about what it felt like, "as a man of God" to be investigated, he said,

"For us, we have nothing to hide."

This begs the question, "who is 'us'?" and "who is 'we'?" by the news broadcaster.

It was not asked.

Recently, Blackburn spoke about a direct revelation he had from God.  The analysis of such is found here: Deception Indicated.

To indicate deception in this "revelation" the subject must know and show awareness that he intends to deceive people.

He began with "I had a thought", which went to "God spoke to my heart", as if an impression, but once qualified, he then gave direct quotes.  This is to claim direct revelation from God, Himself, and then he used this "Divine Authority" or marching orders to not only declare a vision, but to insult an entire church in front of its pastor, his father-in-law:  the victim's father.

This is to show himself "above", both in authority and in 'relation to God', to the man who may suspect him in dispatching his daughter.  By using the 2 qualifiers, he did what deceptive people do, with rapid transmission:  gave himself an out.

This is a signal that he is well rehearsed in deception and may be a pathological liar.

Note the import of the lie:  it made him and his company a historical figure of prominence.

Now consider that in this short speech, the use of the pronoun "I" was used, and in it, God used his first name, which is given for emphasis.

He then said that the murder victim died so the church could come to life.  It was a trade in which he used sensitive emphasis, or the need to persuade, that it is something he would not have done.

Please note:

To this, he was "alone" in his pronoun use.

He, alone, spoke to God.
He, alone, will pastor the "army" that will go forth in historical manner.

When he addresses Amanda's murder, he is "we" and he is "us", who has "nothing to hide."

When a 13 year old boy stands before his junior high school principal and says, "I have nothing to hide" it is a signal to see what's in his locker, on his person, etc.  The crude remark is, "he has a turd in his pocket" when he said that.

It is a linguistic signal that the subject, at this moment, is thinking of things he does not want known and is concerned about them being found.  We note what topic (context) produces this response.

When this arises with the plural pronoun, it indicates:

a.  That there is something, or some things, hidden, of which the subject does not want known
b.  That the subject is thinking of this hidden item in correlation with someone else; or
c.  That which is hidden produces guilt of which the guilt is mitigated by a crowd.

Analysis Question:  Given the 'divine revelation' claim, is it possible that Blackburn sees himself as 'one' with God, or in some strange way, a 'trinity' of sorts, or even of such divine cooperation that he is so close that this would produce the pronoun "we" in his language?

Answer:  No.  This is not supported by the context.

We look at what produces the pronoun "we" in his language, versus what produces the normal, "I" in his language and we find, consistently, a need to 'go plural' regarding the murder and its impact.

It is alarming that he has now found a "justification" for the victim's death.  The "murder" (that which he called an 'event'  or 'situation' early on) was something that "baffled the family", but now, not only does he know "why" she died, but her death is 'good' for his career, something he has obsessed about repeatedly.

Objection:  Maybe the hurt is so bad that he retreats to the plural?

Answer:   The truth is the opposite.

The murder of a wife is 'up close' and 'personal' and as we are possessive creatures, even against all 'political correctness', husbands and wives claim personal ownership over each other.  The second most 'personal' death would be that of a biological child.

In language, this is where we hear "I", most often, even when a spouse is seated with other family members.

The other family members do not have the same close personal connection with the victim as the spouse.

The same is seen in child deaths.

In using emotional language in a you tube video, he expressed a stronger emotional pronoun about the failure to obtain numbers for his company, with this "disappointment" connected to reliably with the pronoun "I"; and in context, the negative comparison was with 'souls saved', which revealed priority and obsession.

In the claim of having a conversation with God, he gives signals of deception which indicates that he knows this is not true, and needs not only to convince the audience, but will have a technical "out" upon being challenged.  "I said it was a 'thought'!"  This is commonly used in deceptive advertising today.  It is sometimes used conversationally in insults where the subject later says, "I was only kidding" having done the damage and communicated the message.

That the murder victim lost her 'life so the church could live' is not simply of concern to orthodox Christianity which teaches that Christ died to give life, but to criminal investigators as to possible motive.

Blackburn's use of pronouns, as well as his rapidity of transmission suggests a history of successful deception and may be a pathological liar.

A motive for possible connection to the shooter, even through various layers and connections to criminal elements, that should be considered is the profit to be gained from her death.

In his first statement, he used her death for advertising purposes and has consistently done so since.

Criminal investigators look into any possible planning and preparation, even while looking at the profile of one:

a.  Does he have a history of lying?
b.  Does he have a history of narcissism?
c.  Is there a history of... and it goes on looking into all possibilities leading to,

"Can we locate a connection between the shooter, his gang and any adult, including the husband?"

The final pronoun objection is this:

The pronoun use of "we" is delusional.

This is not evidenced in the language.  The delusional will not use qualifiers such as "I had a thought" and "felt like...my heart..."  They do not show, in language, the need to deceive when speaking under clinical delusion.

The delusional will speak of voices, directly and commands.  In the delusional, it is often difficult to pick up deception. "The angel Gabriel came to me today and said..." was told to me in an interview.  The subject was delusional but the sentence structure shows no intention of deception.  This is where lie detection picks up its signals:  intent to deceive.

When we commonly speak of 'delusions of grandeur' it is not in the clinical sense of delusion.  It can be a young boy believing against evidence that he will be a professional sports star, or someone who simply has a confidence that he or she is born to greatness yet unfulfilled.  This expression is commonly used to describe extreme ego, but it is not to say that the person is delusional.

This was seen in the Casey Anthony trial where the women interrupted it and was given a light sentence under the claim of "not knowing what she was doing" because she was off her medication.

She knew how to get dressed, and knew which streets to navigate to get to the address of the court house.  She knew which courthouse room to enter.  She knew what time it started.  She knew the television cameras were on.

It showed planning.

In the murder of Amanda Blackburn, investigators explore any possible planning involved.

The original question posed about the use of the plural pronoun having connection to 'divine' association is viewed in context which allows the subject to answer the question, himself, via his own language.

In connection to having a personal conversation with God, he does not retreat to 'we', as he did in questions related to the victim's murder, or its impact upon him, or his son.

Investigators should be very concerned about his public justification of Amanda's murder.

While all things eventually come together to produce good is a long term act of faith, which cannot see what possible good can come of something like this, calling the faithful to trust, here we have something investigators must consider as motive:

that Amanda died so his company would grow.

Davey Blackburn has not been charged, nor implicated by police as having any connection to the murder of Amanda Blackburn.   Blackburn, himself, has not only advertised the murder for his own profit, but has made all of these statements available to the public for their opinion and judgement to be exercised.

Although I do not know if he has any indirect association to the murder, I am alarmed by the coincidental nature of the case, the language of guilt, and the justification of her murder, under the veil of religious language.

In my own work, I recognize that "for us, we have nothing to hide" is not simply the language of guilt, but of something hidden.  That which is hidden may not be association to Amanda's killers.

It is something, but I have yet to conclude what I think it is.

I am bothered by the new 'motive' and justification for Amanda's death; not because of Christian blasphemy; from a deceptive one deception will come, but because it so quickly turns something so ugly into something 'positive.'

Far too little time has elapsed for such.

The need to justify is sometimes found in the language of killers.  It is predominantly hidden, or subtle, but it is often there. The one exception I have learned from is Tammy Moorer:  she justified the killing of Heather Elvis openly.  This is the only example I have seen in which, prior to arrest, one has spoken thus.

This is more the language of one convicted who has exhausted appeals and the truth comes out.

Every other example I have studied and taught to investigators is subtle, teaching them to look for quiet, small words used to justify the homicide; especially domestic homicides.

In shaken baby syndrome, the baby is blamed for not 'cooperating'; in child molestation the child 'flirted';
In teenagers killed or abused, 'hormones' are cited.

When one dies, people, especially loved ones, speak only the positive, quickly forgetting the flaws.

That Amanda was "not well read" (which justifies the humiliation she experienced on video) is a subtle insult of her intellect.

That the husband is so driven as to even use 'sloganism' in her death is concerning.

Cold case detectives have to have thick skin.

By virtue of their work, they 'criticize' the failure of others.

The detectives in the Blackburn town should have plenty of incentive to drill down further into Davey Blackburn's life. He's so transparent in his words and actions, very little attempt to appear non-involved with Amanda and her baby's murder. He insults the intuition, experience, and skill of local investigators!

Rdk - Yep, Davey is strutting in his audacious attempt to be 'hidden in plain sight' - to even have his 'prophecies' written down by his audience. He's not as good as he thinks he is - the investigators are not going to let him walk all over anyone else, methinks. They must be raging for Amanda and her baby, and far more than anyone here.

Thanks for all the transcripts, CJ - so interesting how he urged his young listeners to write that one down, even if they don't normally take notes. The only thing I find Davey to be delusional in is his belief in himself, and that others will naturally share it.

Miss Janeway; I want to say how sorry I am that you had to grow up the way you did, it was inescapably painful, I know. It is an awful thing, never being heard and never being believed no matter how hard you try or no matter how honest you are. I don't understand today why I don't hate my family but I don't. I just pity them, but I can't let myself forget that every ounce of strength and tears you have is given to trying to defend yourself but you never win.

Never. There is really no way to describe the affect this has on a child growing up, both during and after, in my case it wasn't just the parents (mostly not my dad, just my mother and six siblings); with the siblings causing most of this nightmare for me. My mother would believe whatever they said and I got the blame for everything they did and the whippings for doing it, then the whipping for lying about it, then the whipping when I didn't stop crying until I did stop crying.

Can you imagine a weak little stuttering underweight girl growing up like that, caught in the middle of six siblings, being bullied and can't defend yourself? Back in those days there was no one to help you. Whatever parents did and said was never questioned. "Spare the rod and spoil the child" is the way it was. Mine was a Christian family. It's a good thing I had that church or I would have lost my mind. I thank God for it every day. I really do.

My mother never heard me or believed me when I tried to tell her the truth. If I got angry trying to defend myself, she said I was just like my daddy and she was going to beat that temper out of me, and did. I forgave my mother many years before she passed away, understanding her ignorance and the hard life and oppression she was living under, but my siblings had the same opportunity I did to understand her life like I did, and what they caused but never did, or cared. But, I could point out; who among us made the most success of our lives? It was me.

All those years, you try and try, but the only way to move on is to literally and physically move on. You focus on what you want to do with your life and the steps to accomplish your goals, one at the time; you work two jobs (I did) if that's what you have to do, with no help, you give yourself the education you need to accomplish your goals, and the self-esteem and self-confidence you need to do it, but there will always be something or someone that comes back when you least expect it to falsely accuse you all over again, making you feel like a whipped dog.

The best thing that helped me after I grew up was to get away from my parents and siblings; at age 16 I ran away from home, lied about my age, one of the few lies I've ever told in my whole life; got a job behind a soda fountain, rented a room for myself, supported myself and sent myself to school, then to college, then fine-tuned my career, and did my best to stay away from them. The only thing we can do is tell ourselves they were stupid people; they were and are, shut your mind down and leave it there. I'm not being physically and mentally whipped now for things I didn't do or lies I didn't tell, but every time one of my siblings crops up in my life again, the oppression of trying to prove myself starts all over again.

I could write a book about it and you probably could too. I do understand how some words in statement analysis can make you look like a liar or like you are hiding something when you aren't, and this bothers me too, particularly when I am made out to be lying sometimes here on this thread, when I am probably the most honest person I know and have ever known. Yes, it does hurt, which makes me very cautious in possibly falsely accusing someone else. I understand. God bless you. ABB

Peter, I am starting to have a variety of doubts about SA.

-"Deception occurs in 3's." Those of us who are English majors know that we're trained to give at least 3 supporting points in an essay or paragraph. It's a standard way of writing. That doesn't mean we're being deceptive, but it may mean we're saying something rehearsed.

--your comment about "brushing her teeth" being related to domestic violence. I often talk about having time to brush my teeth, because it is amazing when I actually have time to do it. I have four children. I am not beaten, shamed, sexually abused, emotionally beaten down, etc. We have had a lot of marital troubles, and I was a *witness* to domestic violence growing up. However, right now, I'm not a victim of domestic violence; I'm an exhausted mom.

-You said, "In order to be deceptive about hearing this conversation with God, Blackburn would have to show a "need to persuade" or an "intent to deceive" his audience." Sir, I grew up w/ a Borderline mother and a Narcissistic father. Every single statement out of my mouth had a "need to persuade" behind it, because if I didn't persuade, I wasn't heard. I didn't have a voice on my own; I was just an extension of whatever they needed. This means I regularly expect that I won't be believed, NO MATTER WHAT I SAY, and I use words like, "I was really REALLY concerned" or, "Honestly..." or the best one: "I have nothing to hide," which really means "I have nothing to hide. Seriously. Come, take a look. Have some lemonade." I've had to spend so much time validating whatever I perceive as true that I easily go overboard.

I'm not saying Davey Blackburn is innocent. I grew up w/ a Narcissist, and from experience, I can tell you that this guy is slimier than a rotten avocado. I'm just questioning whether or not specific statements can indicate deception as reliably as you say they can.

1. "Deception occurs in threes" What does this mean? This is not Statement Analysis.

2. "brushing teeth": you say this in police or investigative statements?

It occurs in less than 10% of police or investigative statements.

we all brush our teeth and talking about it is not the issue:

it is the need to tell an investigator as context

Janeway -- I had some similar childhood experiences, and notice similar patterns in my speech and writing. When I started reading here I also noticed patterns in my speech that Peter and others had flagged as "sensitive" when analyzing statements.

As I noticed these patterns in my speech and writing, I thought about what *I* meant when I used them. I realized that, for me, they were indeed sensitive. They didn't mean I was lying, but they meant:
- I am sensitive about not being trusted or believed, because my parents did not believe me when I told them the truth.
- I do feel "safe" when I am locked behind the bathroom door, because I also have four children, who are always home, and I am briefly off-duty when I am in the bathroom.
- I will mention things like showering or getting ready and brushing my teeth because they are big gold stars for my day. Probably if I had as much time as I wanted to attend to my hygiene each day, I would not mention these things.
- I do love my extended family and friends, for example, but not as much as I love my immediate family, so I find myself saying, "Love you!" to my aunt vs. "I love you!" to my sister.

It's important to keep in mind that most of the things flagged in statement analysis indicate sensitivity, not necessarily deception. For me, it's been really interesting to think about why I am using language that is flagged for sensitivity here.

I believe what XianJane is saying to be the truth. There's no convincing a habitual liar you are telling the truth so why try?

We had several stalkers where I once lived and a neighbor called me to witness the mail they had dumped in her trash can. I did. I said she should report it. She refused. Why? She said: they will accuse me of stealing the mail and putting it in my own trash can.

She was probably right. since I had the most weapons, I pushed the idiot button on the situation and I could back up my claim with video, though the mail that was in her trash can wasn't within view of my camera.

They liked to target women-mostly alone-be they single or during times their husbands were away.

Xian,

I took Peter's Statement Analysis course. It was wonderful and I learned a lot. He said that SA principles are like hardening clay. You take the principles and use them to evaluate a statement, molding them to the situation. You don't automatically conclude deception based on them, you use them to explore and get more information.

In your examples:

-"Deception occurs in 3's." I am a writer and I was also taught to use three examples. Everything we say and do is a reflection of who we are. In SA, 3 is the "liars number". Here is one of his articles which give a little more detail on this principle:

http://statement-analysis.blogspot.com/2015/05/the-number-three-in-fake-hate-reports.html

----your comment about "brushing her teeth" I have three kids and (sadly) it's also a big event when I brush my teeth. In the training course Peter says "brushing teeth" *may* indicate domestic abuse, or the subject is concealing something of a personal nature within the statement. When you see "brushing teeth" don't automatically assume domestic violence, rather explore for it. Ask questions to find out whether or not that's the case. It entered into their language for some reason. In our case (like women who have experienced domestic violence) the bathroom is a little haven of peace. It's the clay principle. Use the statement to get more information, but don't assume it is the case in every circumstance.

---You said, "In order to be deceptive about hearing this conversation with God, Blackburn would have to show a "need to persuade" or an "intent to deceive" his audience." Sir, I grew up w/ a Borderline mother and a Narcissistic father. Every single statement out of my mouth had a "need to persuade" behind it, because if I didn't persuade, I wasn't heard.

The need to persuade (NTP) is sensitive. We have to ask "why do they feel the need to persuade here?, Why is it so important to them?" and then look for the reason behind it. In your case, you understand why this sensitivity enters your language. In Davey Blackburn's case, we also look for a reason, rather than automatically saying "Hes Deceptive!"

As far as concluding deception, (at least so far in my training) there has always been more than one indicator of deception in a statement. There are lots and lots of indicators and they build to the point that you can safely say, "Deception Indicated". Never conclude anything based on a single indicator. Except possibly with pronouns. Somewhere on the blog there is an example of "We" drove home after the rape, "We were losing daylight". Time on a clock, articles and pronouns are not subjective per person.

To sum it up, don't assume...explore for the possibility. I hope this helps. You sound like you will be great at this, especially because you take the time to question!

@anon 11:49, for the first time I checked out Levi's videos and website. Wow. I'm going to start calling DB "Mini Levi or Levi Jr." I think DB wanted/wants what Levi has. I think he IS his idol. But in a creepy way. They have so many similarities. The hair, the way they dress, the gym workouts, coffee, props while preaching, etc. Totally creeped out now. What I saw from Levi, while I still find these churches a bit different for my taste, he seems sincere. The problem with DB is that he's trying to be someone he's not and that's why he comes across as fake. I think his frustrations grew because his wife wasn't doing her job as well as Levis. His church members weren't growing like Levis. DB is one messed up dude. The fact that he's copy catting this man to almost a T is proof of his immaturity, insecurity and lack of self esteem. This together with his narcissistic personality makes him crazy. He needs help.

This is kind of creepy. At 8pm last night an email which I just saw now next morning said that Davey is now following me on twitter. I commented about the case a couple times, but most recently four days ago and he's active on there daily. I checked my list of followers though now and he's not one of them, he follows very few people, mostly preachers. Maybe the follow was a mistake? This would mean he's doing some back research into those talking about this case on twitter.

The thing is, RDK ref your post @1:49 am, how could ANYONE walk in and see such a gruesome scene with another human being injured so severely and very likely dying right before your eyes, and NOT feel anything for this person even if they did not know the person? I would likely be in a state of trauma for days and have to be sedated. I doubt I would ever be able to get the horror of it out of my mind.

But Davey Blackburn could show no feelings of emotion, sadness, or even momentary hysteria, not even tears for his own wife; even if he had despised her, she was STILL a human being who was ALSO the mother of his child; a woman he had laid with, had sex with, ate with, traveled with, who in every way supported him to the best of her knowledge and ability, loved him; and even if he disregarded the unborn little one in gestation, only thinking of it as a fetus;

he HAD to know this woman, wife, mother, suffered greatly as she laid there horribly injured and he felt nothing for her, only relief that she was gone, out of his way, and how happily he could go on without her and another baby and glad to do it, honestly believing and saying that the best is yet to come. My God, this man truly is evil. I just can't imagine it. He has not even shown any remorse for the way he belittled and mistreated her throughout their marriage.

The finality of death and the affect it has on us is a very strange thing, but there is no escaping the grief and agony of it. You don't feel the same way about someone after they die as you might have thought you would at various times during your relationship with them.

Depending on the closeness and the type relationship, you DO sense the sorrow of their loss, you cry for the sadness of all they put into life, now gone forever; it becomes overwhelming. You do realize the things that were said and done that you wish you could do over, or change, or fix, or do better or differently, even if it's only your longing to spend more time with that person, now forever gone from your life. But Davey Blackburn felt nothing and showed nothing but relief and glad to be rid of her. God, how sad. Poor Amanda; she had to have known that she was a woman totally unloved, even in death. ABB

Looks like this one but I'm not positive of the model. I can read PT but not the numbers and letters after that.

I held off from ID'ing this till I found a photo to compare. This is the brand and and size of gun Amanda's grandfather gave Davey for December 25 2013: "Best Christmas Present Ever" Model needs conformation.

Pak31; from all I've seen and heard and read, Amanda WAS doing her job, and doing it well as a pastors wife. What more could she give? I don't see where she could have done more or better. The poor girl gave all she had; how much more is there? It's not like she was hanging out in bars partying with her girlfriends and dancing all night!

Davey Blackburn was/IS just like everyone else who places blame on someone else for their own shortcomings, failures and inadequacies. I haven't seen anywhere where he has taken the blame for his own actions and lack of responsibilities; the dented grill being a prime example. It WAS his grill, HE bought it, HE owned it, HE LOved it, HE is the one who used it and claimed it.

It was ALSO his responsibility to take care of HIS grill himself. But Amanda got the blame when it got dented accidentally after she had to move it. THEN he made her pay for her accident for years, even after she begged him over and over pitifully to please forgive her. Why, when he should have been taking care of his OWN damned grill? WHAT a b'stard! That right there tells us he blamed her for every one of his failures in the lack of performing his OWN responsibilities. God, he made that woman's life a living hell. People like him make me wanna puke. ABB

Sus,

Do you have a source for your info about Treezy being shot?

I have been wondering why Alonzo was not charged as an accessory after the fact. He communicated with the suspects during commission of a crime. He had factual knowledge of the crimes (according to CI, suspects got together at his place afterwards and Larry talked about murdering Amanda). The black vest (coat)? worn by one of the suspects was in Bull's apartment, as was a Taurus handgun that Gordon and Watson had left after the crime.
Is Alonzo the CI?
December 2, 2015 at 1:16 PM

Plus you asked "Was the Blackburn's gun stolen? (LE found a Taurus 9mm at the apartment where Watson and Gordon were staying)" Nov 24, 2015.

I guess the Taurus 9mm is a common type of gun. New, it costs around $300.

Worth asking was the Taurus in the apartment stolen from the Blackburn house in course of the robbery? Did Watson and Gordon take it back to their (?) apartment as "loot," instead of turning it over to Cheese (?) with TVs and other loot?

If it was (is) Davey's gun, are LE aware? Might Amanda have tried to get the gun (from upstairs? from Davey's home office?) and try to shoot pone of the home invaders only to have it taken away from her. Was the bullet into the staircase from the same gun as the bullets into Amanda's brain? Why did Watson and Gordon have a Taurus, not Taylor?

The news conference where LE said "you are not as good as you think you are, etc." was before they arrested the two men. News conference was on Nov 13. Arrests were Nov 23. All indications from the news report are that LE was referring to the two arrested for the crime.

Thank you, Peter and others, for sharing your knowledge of SA.

I have been interested in how DB seems to reveal "planning" or "preparation" to be a significant personal value of his.

1) In his first statement "There is no way to prepare yourself for circumstances like these."
2) On social media, multiple posts reference planning for the future of the church, or advance sermon planning
3) He says that Levi Lusko's book helped prepare his heart for what he is now going through
4) In his speech to his father-in-law's church, prepares advance rebuttals that make it impossible for people to object to what he is saying. Because he says he is obeying God in this, anyone who takes issue is automatically opposing obedience to God; and if his words don't sound powerful, it's because God didn't allow time for preparation.
5) He also prepares an advance source of blame should this prophecy not come true by making his final appeal to the congregation as doing a favor for him. If they will do this favor for him, than Jesus can act and this won't be wasted. If this prophecy of historical reformation doesn't happen, he has prepared the reason why.

I am looking forward to seeing feedback on this thought. Planning is the opposite of coincidence.

So..Davey bringing a gun onto school property has been referred to prosecutors. This appears to me to be a play by LE to start hammering him with everything they can until they can put things together. If prosecuted, this will shut down his "church". I would think that the school will probably break his lease also which means nowhere to preach. This is another coincidence in the DB saga..that Davey has announced he is taking a "step back".

NOW..the mayor has replaced the Police Chief! If you read the blogs, the force has had a long history of corruption. So we have a new police chief reigning and making the decisions. This could cause a huge schism in the dept. from those officers loyal to the outgoing chief and generally just mass confusion. This is either a very smart move or it will cause this case to be buried because of the detectives in charge. Politics plays a huge part in any department and I only hope the detectives in charge of Amanda's murder case pursue every last lead/connection they can to bring Davey to justice. A new chief could be good news for Davey or very, very bad news. I'm hoping for the latter.

I can only hope the investigators just haven't made the case yet? Many mistakenly believe (including, sadly, one or more of the children) DeCaro is innocent - he was either acquitted or hung jury in his 1st trial but think convicted in a federal trial? (sorry it's foggy but rivetting case) Triggerman Basile has already been executed - which I find LUDICROUS - while husband has life and maybe even chance of parole, really????????

After hoping that investigators were keeping cards close to the vest in the Hailey Dunn case for so long...kept thinking they would turn Adkins and Dunn against each other failed, the longer this goes on the less faith I have that anyone but the illiterate thugs will pay for this crime.

Most of the words spoken were ABOUT Davey, including Amanda's mom describing how Amanda acted after she had a first date with Daveyboy. To most of us, Davey seems about as crazy as they come. To those close to Davey, he seems to have them under some type of warped spell. I can't imagine any other reason as to why they would behave this way.

To sum it up, I don't believe it took a lot of convincing on Davey's end, especially if he used Jesus to justify it.

The only reason Dunn's murderers have not been arrested is Texas has very little in the way of legitimate police force and more reliant on fake charities and media to report back to them. When most people in the area act like the suspects, they don't stand out as suspects.

December 10, 2015 at 1:35 AM
================

Yes, the CI said Larry Taylor was carrying "a snub nose .38 revolver." A female (name redacted) at Brendon Way West Drive "said she knew Gordon, Watson and Taylor ... she showed [Detective] Hess a pistol under her bed which either Jalen Watson or Diano Gordon left in her room. The Taurus 9MM...."

Taurus 9mm pistols are pretty common judging from online sales sites. They come in a lot of different models, The PT alone has several different types within its model line. The one in the apartment might not be the same model as the PT that DB received as a gift.

However common they are, I wonder if Watson or Gordon stole the pistol during the home invasion and instead of handing it over with the TVs and other loot, kept it, stashing it under the bed when they the Pelle-Pelle jacket. Alonzo's GF might not say the whole story on that.

Was it fired inside the Blackburn house? The autopsy report doesn't specify caliber of the 2 bullets recovered from Amanda's body (head and biceps) nor that of the bullet recovered from under the stairs. Somewhere in the Affidavit there's mention of "9/38mm."

Thank you for always researching and giving us the facts.
This has to take a lot of time and I appreciate it.

Does the PC affidavit not mention who owned the under-the-bed gun? I need to re-read.
I can't get past the suspicion that Davey did the shooting in anger, then called on Alonzo Bull to stage the robbery, framing the non-gang affiliated Watson. Perhaps the robbers were told to take the gun, being sure Watson picked it up and left his prints.

Were you the one who told us Alonzo was now the de facto head of the Kilz gang since he's the beloved cousin of the jailed leader?

I think money only plays into the equation because Davey's lack of getting butts in the seats show that he is not successful. He is NOt the pastor of a mega-million megachurch. He aspires to that, but he is NOT that. In the beginning, I did a quick background on family and it would appear that Davey comes from money and successful, respected people in the field of education and religion. His grandparents sat on the Board of Wesleyan? college and his cousin a VP of a college and also a successful motivational speaker, along with others. I also believe Amanda's parents have money also. It's not the lack of money, it's the fact that the lack of money pouring into his "church" deems him a loser. I think Davey's head would explode if he thought people thought he was a loser. Also, perhaps his family has had it with him. We haven't heard very much from them, have we? Perhaps it has already cost them significant sums of money to keep Davey afloat or to "take care" of the horrible thing he did in highschool? Does anyone have any info about the statements released by HIS family? Particularly his parents?

DB's parents statements: well, his mother's Twitter posts are all biblical in nature. There's a recent pic of Weston near "christmas in November" post. I've seen nothing public so far.

Were you the one who told us Alonzo was now the de facto head of the Kilz gang since he's the beloved cousin of the jailed leader?
===========
No, I didn't know that.

I found the mention of bullet caliber: "The bullets recovered at autopsy were determined to be .38/9mm class. No shell casings were recovered, which would be indicative of a revolver having been used. This would be consistent with a .38/.357"

On Larry Taylor's phone, they found a photo from September 19, 2015 of him lying on a bed with a snub nose revolver "consistent with a .38 or .357."

I agree.
As egotistical as Davey is, he would certainly have been jealous of other family members' success. I remember seeing a Facebook post where Amanda's mother showed a photo of Amber and Gavin's first house, which was a lovely and fairly new farmhouse. I believe they have since moved up to a better one.
The double wedding with these two would leave them set up for comparison.

If houses are an indicator of wealth, the Byars' are doing much better than Davey's parents. You can see a video of the Byers' house and an outdoor shot of the Blackburns' online. Strikingly different in value. Another source of jealousy for Davey?

I wonder about Davey's father leaving the Wesleyan Church where he had spent his entire career to now end up with the NEXTchurch meeting in a boys & Girls Club space. He worked for the Wesleyan Church in Brevard and NEXT is also there. Strange, huh? Quite a step down? Why? The sins of the son, perhaps?

I don't know about the possibility of Amanda being shot the night before and
many commenters keep going back to the neighbor hearing gunshots while Davey was at the gym.
I've followed trials where people reported hearing gunshots at many different times. This doesn't seem reliable to me.
Besides, there were 3 gunshots. Why only two heard?
I think Davey shot her earlier and was late leaving because he was lining up Alonzo's guys on a second cell phone.
Somebody's going to have to show me something more reliable to change my mind!

The Police have TOLD us who the shooter is

They even showed us pictures

Its in the Affadavit that the shooting likely occurred immediately the perp entered

If Amanda was climbing the stairs and heard the perp behind her, turned around - the bicep shot was a defensive wound

He then shot her in the back of the head as she lay.

At 6.25 when the neighbor heard shots.

Makes sense to me

What DOESNT make sense = calling it a burglary

It became burglary when he entered the home uninvited. It was aggravated assault when he hit her with the gun butt. It became murder when she had to be pulled from life support. Depriving her of personal property was armed robbery since he had a weapon.

It may have been stalking if they can place him in the area prior.

I'm sad that Amanda's mother reduced Amanda to a child who never gave her any trouble and who married a man she approved of. I understand that it's part of the brand of religion she belonged to – much like the concept of women “defrauding” men with their bodies in the Quiverfull movement the Duggars follow or the notion of “keeping sweet” in the FLDS – but it seems like an ugly way to view one of God's creatures.

I'm an atheist but it doesn't escape me that some of these religions use the bible in order to justify abuse of women, plain and simple. It isn't much of a leap to consider that Davey did so too – the big question is to what extent?

He was on house arrest at the time of his last Facebook post and it was said here that he's in jail now. Must have gone back right after Christmas. Maybe they just let him out on house arrest for the holiday? Does that happen? Scary.

Sus said...

And that it may be a revolver, as no shells were found at the house. The gun under the bed was a pistol. Not likely the gun used to shoot Amanda. Maybe, but not likely. Investigators have a pic of Taylor, found on his phone, holding a revolver. That is more likely the murder weapon. Do police have that gun?

PS What idiots. They post anything and everything. I saw Donae Mitchell asking "who has the gas" and offering to "match" last night on her Facebook. She wanted them to come to her house as she had the kids. That's drug talk. "Gas" is good weed. Match means she'll put in hers, and they can smoke together. Where are the cops?? Dcfs??

For the love of Pete, I cannot figure out why PN gave DB his blessing to start a church, much less seed / start-up $ from NS & $ to sponsor he and Amanda for the first couple of years. Even if one didn't know or believe that he's Crazy Davey, narcissistic, psychopathic / evil, treated Amanda poorly and degraded her in public, he's obviously very immature and has no filter. He was nowhere near ready to be a *LEAD* pasture, much less ready to start, I mean, plant, his own church. He might be cute and in shape, and think he walks on water, and wants more power, but he's clearly someone who needs to be under a seasoned pastor, business owner, etc.

Of course, I state this with some hindsight. It would be interesting to hear about how he did as a youth pastor at NS. And, it would be interesting to hear from people who really know, or knew him (not his facade), such as his brother, high school friends (who knew of the big lie), etc.

Amy - in one of the earliest TV reports, I don't know which channel, a female newscaster appeared to be under the impression the shooting of Amanda had happened 'last night' - she asked if it had, I don't recall if the question received a response or if the subject was changed. I wish I had bookmarked it, but it's out there somewhere. It may have been a miscommunication, as so often happens - I think surely the medics would have been able to estimate from her condition how long Amanda had been bleeding, or if one or two wounds had been inflicted many hours before the others, but I don't know - just hoping that would be the case.

RDK, Davey has money pouring in from multiple sources. There's all the donor funds pulling in money from three big churches, plus his family members, plus all the other please 'help-me' funds that have been established, plus his piddly little tee-shirt sales and whatever video sales that are still going out. OH, and the book that's coming! Yeah!! Maybe a movie deal too. "The best is yet to come..."

He doesn't need to worry anymore about his pittance of a salary from his little plant church, or his little bitty not-dependable substitute teaching job, or whining sickly Amanda trying to refinish and sell used furniture. He's got it made now. No more fretting about how he's going to pay the utility bills, his gym membership and all the charge cards and Amanda getting herself knocked up again and straddling him with another baby, or anything else. It was all her fault, don'tcha know, not being a good pastors wife and all. Hells bells, he can even let the house go and get a bigger and better one. By golly, he'll show 'em.

The only thing that might put a damper on his glee is that if he has a sizable life insurance policy payout due from Amanda's unfortunate death and the insurance company investigators start to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death, it could cause him a few jitters and sleepless nights. But did he even carry life insurance on her? I wonder, since preacher Nobel's church stepped forward and paid for her funeral costs. Anybody know? ABB

Speaking of pregnancy....When DB welcomed worshippers who came to "hang out," and then he found a way to mention sex in his "sermons," did he ever mention birth control? I don't want to get into a debate on that topic, but, since he did not seem thrilled about how pregnancies and baby/ies interfere with his "needs," I am curious about his birth control beliefs. He seemed to have some seething anger about Amanda getting pregnant again....And, since it takes two, I wonder if he considered taking any responsibility?

How/when will we know when this case is "closed"? Is there a certain law-enforcement protocol where they publicly state they are done? Will that be when the 911 call is finally released to public? Aren't 911 calls public property? Strange it hasn't been released yet.

Anonymous said...

Because the sleuths have learned that slander and gossip costs them more than the puny ad funds generated especially when it is directed at trying to prevent someone from making a living and seeking to get them charged with a crime they did not commit.
Just because he is a public figure now doesn't mean some laws still do not apply.

His wife was viciously murdered. He has some mental issues and grieve openly as expected. That doesn't make him a criminal.

You may never hear that 911 call if it affects the family or their safety. so far, some of the comments on here denote it's not about statistics, learning, or even constitutional freedoms.

Websleuths is on complete lockdown regarding discussion about Davey. Mods have come down hard in some cases but this one's really unusual. Maybe they're trying to avoid discussion about religion (the thread exploded when Davey's first statement was released), maybe someone contacted the owner and threatened her (unlikely). Maybe the owner is hoping to get Davey on the radio program for an interview and wants him to see that the thread is protective of him as a victim. Who knows?

You can bet that if LE announces Davey as a POI things will take a different turn. Are any other forums reacting in the same way?

Regarding the Hailey Dunn case, I think it is fair to say that until her remains were found it was not just a bunch of local yokels investigating. Colorado City police, Mitchell County Sheriff's department, the Texas Rangers and FBI were involved in the investigation. The Colorado City Manager was former FBI and also involved. The Texas Rangers have outstanding investigators and high arrest and conviction rates. If you commit a crime in Texas you don't want those guys on your case. I was very good friends with the former director of the Texas Rangers(since deceased and I miss him) the FBI lead (since transferred) and local CC law enforcement. Everyone knows Adkins killed her, Billie may have been involved. In my opinion it never got anywhere because it was not clear which agency had the lead so the DA had no confidence following the Casey Anthony acquittal. Currently the same problem exists. After Hailey's remains were found it went to the Scurry County sheriff's department. Who refers callers to the Texas Rangers who will refer you back to Scurry County. And the FBI still has her remains. So still, no ownership. Until someone takes ownership it will go no where. Peter can write volumes on this and continues to try to help them connect the dots. I followed and continue to follow the case because I have a job site there and colleagues there. I posted as Local Anon then if you want to look back.

I took a screenshot of the video that was posted for the war on worry skit from the audience perspective before it was pulled. Davey thought he was being clever with his air soft prop but what struck me most disturbing is that he was shooting at a person. Why couldn't he have put a bullseye target on the stage that said "worry" and all the other examples he gave? I think the school district may have been a little more understanding of the error in judgement if he had aimed at a target but no, Davey was shooting at a person which is just creepy. And then Davey commented on this post "whatever it takes". BC

The suspicion surrounding Davey Blackburn is not based on his mental issues and whether he grieves openly. The country has collectively and repeatedly gasped at his open and obvious attempts to "capitalize" (his word) on his wife's brutal murder immediately after his wife's brutal murder, selling t-shirts like he's on tour, inserting a plug for himself into the middle of her obituary crowbar'd right between her son's name and her parents' names, failing to acknowledge the death of his unborn child until after being reminded and widely criticized for it, and his forced attempts at appearing bereaved in several interviews which came off as badly staged. Not to mention the overwhelming number of coincidences and confusing story arches that have raised the antennae of the average public.

I talked with a small city defense attorney today. I gave him a quick rundown of the case and he stated he'd need to know more to make a realistic conclusion, but at face value this is a defense attorney dream case. He said from Davey leaving the door unlocked, to the misleading 911 call, to him sitting out in his driveway, etc. that there would be ample room to poke holes in the prosecutor's theory. He also said he would expect the defense to use the Davey story to poke major holes. This case is going to be a very interesting case to continue to follow.

Even if he doesn't find the missing link between Davey and Taylor, he can sure stir up some trouble.

The state will pay the court-appointed attorney's private investigator and if Davey put this much of his inappropriate behavior on video and called it church, imagine what lies hidden for the P.I. to unearth.

I would think the DA would be cutting deals all over the place to nail Davey Blackburn since his own words continue to make him look guiltier and guiltier.

My concern is whether the underlings they've arrested will be willing to give up someone further up in the Kilt gang, the one who actually dealt with Davey. They know that in jail their lives depend on being gang-connected and that snitches are the lowest of the low, down there with pedophiles.
(It's interesting to me that there's a code of ethics for those who seem to have none in our eyes.)

What does your defense attorney friend think about the chances of gang members turning on one of their own?

BB said...

Realistically, if DB is involved, HOW did he think he was going to get away with it? Why wouldn't the arrestees talk?

Anonymous said...

The residents of high crime neighborhoods are coerced into observing this code of silence. People that have nothing to gain will sometimes risk coming forward because they want to do the right thing. These people are considered Confidential Informants and police will do everything in their power to protect their identity.

"Snitching" is when someone names another person/s in order to avoid arrest or lessen their own sentence. This is considered the most extreme form of breaking this code. The snitch is easily identified in the community and is in extreme danger of retaliation.

The Pelle-Pelle jacket and black vest that's seen on surveillance video belongs to Alonzo Bull these items and the 9 mm gun were all found in his apartment.

When police traced the # that Taylor gave them to ABs apartment, DG and JW were named in connection to the gun and JW to the vest.

I don't believe LT was the one carrying the phone the morning of the murders. I also don't believe he was the one seen in ABs Pelle-Pelle jacket. According to the Affidavit the phone that police traced and found LT in possession of was also linked to another person who's name is redacted. The tip of the first letter is showing and appears to be a D and the length appears to the same as Dianno Gordon's name.

I think LT only became a viable option for the CIs (Cooperating Individuals) to implicate when they realized that police found him in possession of one of the phones that had been used that morning.

If LT was really as involved as they later claim, I think he would have been the one named in connection with the gun because implicating JW and DG was breaking a serious cardinal rule. Unlike LT, these two are major "homies" in this gang. They are both very close to one of the main leaders of the kilt gang that's doing time. DG is a close cousin and JW is a friend. JW and him are pictured in jail together on this guy's instagram right before JW was released.

LT appears to be
mentally challenged in some way. He waived his Miranda rights and the statement he gave to police seems to indicate that he may not have even been aware of this crime. Claiming to be so messed up he couldn't say for sure if he was or wasn't at Sunnyview and that he doesn't remember getting out of the car until he was in the the same area that a guy named cheese lived. This just seems too bizarre for someone to make this incriminating of a statement in this situation. If he really did have that degree of amnesia this could be from mental illness, being extremely intoxicated or heavily drugged. There is a powerful street drug called "cheese" or "crunk" that can cause total amnesia. It's ironic that he admits to getting in the stolen car and going to see a guy named "cheese" and doesn't remember getting out of the car before being let out in that area.

Kate said...

Concerned, good points and I can't remember which poster said it, but someone a while back referenced the "weakest link" and I think le will find that. We didn't get into the gang members caving on one another, I'll try to ask that one next time. I would hope le would be finding a lot of evidence to connect Davey with the death of Amanda. If evidence is proving just that, law enforcement would use that to their advantage to get one of them to cave. They're going down and it's not just for a few years, dp has already been talked about. I know gangs are tough and snitching is not allowed, but they're also looking death right square in the eye. All three have the exact same story? I bet not.

You are correct Kate. The defense attorneys will make the connection. But only if they have the time as public defenders with huge case loads. And at the 11th hour. Every case I have testified in and prepared exhibits for happened at the 11th hour. Reasonable doubt 101, point the finger at someone else. they Google relevant information and will find themselves here. When the time comes I know Peter and you committed posters will wrap it up in a bow for them.

In the unredacted copy what is the name of the person that is linked to the phone with LT?

"Concerned, good points and I can't remember which poster said it, but someone a while back referenced the "weakest link" and I think le will find that. I bet not.

January 8th is the next court hearing if anyone was looking for that.

Wait, Kate. I thought you said that this isn't "evidence analysis," it's "statement analysis," right?

Davey stated in the video about the grill that he kept his gun in the bedside table. (at least I think it was that video) I immediately thought that maybe Amanda saw an opportunity to run upstairs and was thinking of getting the gun. The time line isn't clear though with regard to Amanda being struck with a gun to her face and then being shot. But at some point, maybe she was running up and away from the murderer and not towards him as it was indicated by the story. It doesn't make sense that the murderer shot and killed her because she was going to scratch his face. He didn't shoot very well if his aim was to kill her as he had to shoot 3 times and she was still not deceased.

When I look at the pictures of Amanda and her beautiful smile holding Weston, all I can think of his how frightened she must have been during this horrific ordeal. I really hope it wasn't her husband who arranged this to happen. It's so ugly and evil to believe. There are so many coincidences and his actions so far have not made him look innocent, the opposite. It may be that he is hiding something but it has nothing to do with Amanda's demise.

Bottom line. No matter who murdered her, it was still ugly and evil.

Who knows if his name is really Cheesebourough?!
These guys have more names than Davey has lies!
But that's his FB name right now. At least one of them.
Like most of these thugs, he's not having much luck with the ladies so your husband might want to look out!

Kate at 11:42
Did you really say "IF" drugs and booze play a part in their lives?
Now, friend, that's funny.

GeekRad at 11:47
We'll invite those public defenders to our Statement Analysis Potluck if that's what it takes to nail the Dave-ster!
Not that I think these guys will do much good here in the world but you gotta' do what you gotta' do!

Anonymous said...

I have a relative in LE . He feels the thugs that have been arrested would have told LE if Davey was involved .
They will probably be facing life in prison for Amanda's murder ... there is NO way , they're not going to talk about Davey if he hired them .
I agree that Davey is narcissistic , and strange . But a murderer ? Probably not .

Why yes anonymous, it is SA. Your point? You know on second thought, nevermind. I'm really not interested in this and as Peter has already stated, MULTIPLE times, stick to the subject at hand and since I follow and respect the rules here at SA, I will do just that.

Back to the topic at hand.

Anon 11:59,

There is mostly likely at least two degrees of separation between Davey and the actual shooter.

i.e., Shella Bellush was stabbed to death in her home in front of her quadruplet toddlers in the middle of the day. Turns out her ex-husband hired a golfing acquaintance who in turn hired his cousin to actually carry out the murder. Ex-husband and murderer never met, never communicated.

Anonymous said...

I tend to agree with this. In most cases where there is a hit the shooter gives up who hired him in exchange for a lighter sentence. There would be no reason DB woukd not already be arrested because LE would have direct evidence against him in the form of the shooter's confession. I think DB is a strange bird to us but not to all those that belong to his church and not to Amanda. She married him after all and was having another child with him. His behavior is not NEW. As you all have noted, he has been crazy well before the murder.

Statement analysis says Davey is lying and is probably a habitual liar.
If he didn't kill Amanda or have her killed, I'd just like to see the full extent of his creepiness revealed to the world.
Someone in his position - that of supposedly rescuing wounded souls - needs to be stopped before he does irreparable damage.

Remember that the supposed shooter has not given a confession. A CI has told a story which may or may not be true.
There are plenty of reasons why DB has not been arrested. We probably haven't even guessed half of them here.

Until PN dumps him, LE must feel they have to tread very lightly. After PN dumps him, things could speed up. Remember that LE might fear that multi-millonaire, PN would hire big-time lawyers who could make the DA look foolish. That worked for the Ramseys who had a Grand Jury recommend charges and got off clear. Just ask Peter.

I'm keeping the faith!

I don't think Alonzo Bull is a leader of anything. Like anon says, he's a wanna be. And he just blew his chances.

It is pretty obvious that Taylor is the fall guy, but Taylor is lying. Heck, they're all lying.

Taylor has selective memory. It doesn't work that way. That's the Debbie Bradley (Lisa Irwin mother) drunk defense. He says he thinks he was in the stolen Sebring. He thinks he was on Blackburn's street. But he was too messed up to remember for certain. But he is certain he didn't get out of the car. Nope. He can't be certain of one thing and not another, yet can't remember.

The fact that they won't release the 911 call reinforces for me that DB is under suspicion. Theoretically it is just DB, alone, calling for medical assistance. He didn't even ask for the police or apparently indicate a crime had been committed, so WHYYYYY are they keeping it a secret?

Foolsfeedonfolly said...

Thinking about Davey taking a break to "get healthy", with a guest "communicator" for the second Sunday in a row. The vagueness of DB's post, coupled with an indefinite return, as well as last minute change of plan last Sunday is intriguing. Any chance PN,or more specifically NewSpring's legal team, have advised Davey to stay off stage. Given that Davey leaks marbles/projects/telegraphs in every sermon and interview, they're well aware by now that he's giving Peter, LE, and the posters here plenty to analyze. IMO, they dreamed that people wouldn't buy Davey's act and never saw Peter or Statement Analysis coming. This has got to be PN's biggest nightmare; his greatest fears- fear of man (what people think of him/his organization/his & their credibility affects their income) and fear of losing control (he can't control the press on this one and he can't "fix" Davey, so he can't control/manage him or the situation).

GeekRad, I chose KK when Peter replied to one of my posts and told me to sign it. It turned out he wanted to point out something I had said, but I had no idea. Carnival Barker,
I totally agree.
I think they like having Davey think he's free and clear.
The 911 must be very suspicious and
LE doesn't want Peter and SA to let the cat out of the lying bag!

I imagine this blog, the comments here and elsewhere are giving
Davey some sleepless nights. He already appears to be cracking.
Can't wait to read Peter's SA on the Stepping-Away video.

Did anyone see DB tweet that it's good to be prepared for a TRIAL? He meant as in life struggle but it could be a leak to him thinking he will be on trial for murder. Does anyone have the exact quote?

Sus said...

I found this statement in the prob cause doc telling:

"Watson and Gordon were going to leave Taylor but he threatened to kill the woman if they left him. Alonzo Bull called and said Taylor was family and they could not leave him."

There is a much wrong here.
- Start with Alonzo Bull out of the blue, calls Watson and Gordon. "Hey guys, I'm guessing you have a friend holding a woman hostage. Don't leave him." The info telling how Bull knew this to call them is missing. It wasn't from Taylor's phone. He made one call from inside the home to Gordon.

- Watson and Gordon are long gone from the scene. We are supposed to believe they are drawn back by threats to a woman they robbed and don't know?

- If you go by the time the neighbor heard shots and a scream, Taylor actually shot Amanda between the two ATM transactions. After the call that the CI (has to be Gordon) says they discussed PIN numbers. At that same call is when Taylor, according to the CI, would have threatened to kill Amanda if they didn't come back for him. Taylor would have shot her directly after that call. Before the successful $400 transaction.

- So either the CI is telling the truth about this part. Taylor was so angry when they said they wouldn't come back for him, he went through with his threat and shot Amanda.

Or it could be that they left him and wouldn't come back for him UNTIL Taylor shot Amanda. I've thought about this idea. I don't know why Taylor was with them in the first place.

I want to know why Alonzo Bull is free.

Am I imagining this or has Davey made a distinct shift from quoting PN to now quoting the other dude whose name has slipped from my very tired mind?
Davey doesn't seem to have an original thought, does he?

Add the fact that his new mentor's daughter's death slingshotted his career to the list of amazing coincidences in Davey's life. The guy wrote a book and gained fame and money. His video seemed like an odd choice for entertainment on the Davey/Amanda love-trip to Chicago. Just Davey dreaming about his future with Amanda along for the ride?

If a movie had this many pre-cursors/clues to a crime, we would find it so amateur. The videos about smashing the girl in the mouth, the smashing of the (BBQ) grill, the fake rape in the bible story, capping someone in the head.....all pointing to guess who?

I think I've stopped making sense and need to go to bed!

Carnival Barker said...

My first awareness of this story was a Google headline announcing the death of Amanda Blackburn in an "apparent" home invasion.

I never saw that reference again, it then became simply a home invasion or a burglary. Something made LE suspicious right from the start, and I think the immediate "100% cleared," the elusive 911 call, and a strategic use of the media are a calculated move on the part of the police.
