Heather Elvis Murder: Deric Lostutter Claims Police "Bungle" Case

Heathermissingposter

This article claims to show that police have 'bungled' the Heather Elvis murder investigation.

What does the author base his claims upon?  What does the author's language indicate?

*Does the author believe his own assertions, or is he deceptively attempting to persuade, rather than report truthfully?

Who is the "confidential source"?

The article is presented, as written, but with underlining for emphasis, and Statement Analysis added in bold type.

Horry County Police Bungle Missing Case of Missing Girl – Heather Elvis

December 18, 2013: Heather Elvis was just 20 years old the night she went missing in the Myrtle Beach area of South Carolina.
Sidney and Tammy Moorer were arrested on kidnapping and murder charges January 28, 2014, based on the evidence that Sidney previously had an affair with Heather Elvis. Both were released after each met $100,000 bonds. Because the only evidence presented by the prosecution was circumstantial, the judge determined that the couple are still innocent under the law. The couple has since moved to Florida for work.

Please note the author's claim that the basis of arrest was an affair.  This is to claim:
a.  police arrested both Sidney and Tammy based upon an "affair";
b.  An arrest warrant for kidnapping and murder was sworn out based upon an "affair."

Next note the claim of "the only evidence presented" was circumstantial, is followed with the sentence:

A gag order has been placed on the case.

On that fateful night, Heather went on a first date with Steven Schiraldi, who police noted was the last person to see her alive. During the date, she texted her father, Terry Elvis, a photo of herself learning to drive a stick shift in the parking lot of the Inlet Square Mall. According to testimony, Schiraldi dropped her off at her River Oaks Drive apartment around 2 a.m.
HeatherTruck
After passing a lie detector test, police wrote Steven Schiraldi off as a suspect.

A confidential source explained that Horry County Police have since taken almost two years to review the GPS ping data from Schiraldi’s and Elvis’s phone records, cross referencing them to check the validity of Schiraldi’s alibi the night of Elvis’s disappearance. Police arrived at Steven Schiraldi’s home when the cell phone records of Heather Elvis did not match the locations that Steven Schiraldi told police they had visited that fateful night.

Note the introduction of the "confidential source" with the communicative language:
1.  A (singular) confidential source "explained"; which means that the information was not shared nor disclosed, but needed explanation

2. The source claims to know the length of time it has taken to review a GPS ping.

3.  Note he gives the timing of the police arrival, with the supposition that "did not match the locations", with timing given first.

4.  Note the "confidential source" now "claims" here:

The confidential source claims they witnessed Steven Schiraldi refuse to give police his cell phone, and any records pertaining to it.

5.  The confidential source is now "they"

6.  The confidential source is now more than one who claim to eye witness Schiralidi refusing to give his phone "and any records pertaining to it."

One might ask, "How does one witness someone refusing to give "any records pertaining to a phone"?

According to the source Schiraldi had previously discussed, and may have followed through,

Note "may have followed through" after "discussed" and "may have" destroyed forensic evidence though no date of changing seats is given.

Not only is the change of seats not known, but no date of that which is not known to have not happened is given.  We mark time on that which occurs; not upon that which does not occur.

The evidence it may have destroyed, if it happened, would be evidence that police did not look it.

Please note the suppositions made by the author, and the order in which he gives them.

with changing the seats in his pickup truck, where Heather Elvis was last seen alive, to bucket seats, supposedly to fit a new speaker system. The change may also have destroyed any forensic evidence that Horry County Police failed to look at.
SubsSeatsReplaced
After discovering new discrepancies in Schrialdi’s story, police are now allegedly focusing on him as a primary suspect again.

If "new discrepancies" have arisen, please note the investigation of such are only "allegedly" causing focuses.

Next is a technique known in deception as well as propaganda.  The author introduces a tangent away from the Moorers who is uninvolved:

The father, Terry Elvis has successfully avoided becoming a prime suspect.

To "successfully avoid" would need some form of activity.  What did the victim's father do that gave him success in avoiding becoming "a" prime suspect, and not "the" prime suspect?

Please note that when a suspect is named as "prime", the article, "the" is used as "prime" singles out one above others;

As to "successfully avoided", without explanation, one could thus say, "the author of this article has successfully avoided becoming a prime suspect" with the same level of appropriateness.

I do not know if the author's first language is English.

According to sources, Terry had a brother that was allegedly fired from Horry County Police Department for tampering with evidence.

Note:

a.  "sources" is not identified.  Are these the same plural sources who witnessed someone refusing to give over his phone records?

b.  Note "Terry had a brother..."  is in the past tense.  Is this brother deceased?

c.  Note that a "brother" who was fired from Horry County Police would be in public records.

The language used suggests that the author is not writing what he was told, but is either deliberately deceptive, or does not speak English as his first language.

A source close to the investigation with a relative that works in the court stated that Terry Elvis has failed one lie detector test, and the results of his second were inconclusive.

Please note that this is another "source", this time, someone who has a relative who "works in the court"; but does not identify if:

a.  The work in the court would have access to police polygraph records
b.  what the source who has a relative that works in the court was told

c.  what the relative who works in the court does...janitor?  judge?

d.  Nor does the author let us know how such a police record would arrive at court

Sources and neighbors state that the father has had hundreds of thousands of dollars donated since the disappearance, since allegedly paid off his house, purchased 2 convertibles, his wife a vehicle, his other daughter a vehicle, jet ski’s, and multiple wardrobe additions for his family, including expensive pageant dresses for his daughter.

Please note that this information, whether true or not, is not related to the murder.

Deception indicated via diversion.

This shows the author has a need to smear the victim's father, while using language that is not simply weak, but shows the need to persuade.
12346894_10206767877023276_744215004_n
TruthVoice has since obtained FBI records that show Terry Elvis has been arrested multiple times and convicted of fraud, and forgery stemming from cases dating back as far as 1970, resulting in a 7 year suspended sentence, and 3 years probation, and a permanent felony status.

Please note the need to move suspicion away from the Moorers and on to Schrialdi.
Next note the need to move suspicion from Schrialdi to the victim's father.

This is tangent deception with the intention of bringing suspicion away from the arrested suspects, who, according to the author  were arrested for the man having an affair.

The "FBI records" are not given.

Note the lack of indication that the crimes were federal, crossing state lines.

Note that the crimes are not related to violence; that which was suffered by Heather Elvis.

TruthVoice will be posting a separate article pertaining to Terry Elvis and his sudden life change, and mysterious past later this week.

The author has a need to denigrate the police investigation and will use deception techniques, including propaganda, in order to move the suspicion away from those arrested in Heather's murder.

Statement Analysis has indicated Tammy and Sidney Moorer for deception in the murder of Heather Elvis.  Please see this blog for analysis via search.

You can view a timeline of the Heather Elvis case here
A community vigil will be held for her on the anniversary of her disappearance. You can view the details here
TruthVoice has reached out to Horry County Police Department, our calls have yet to be returned.

Police are not likely to answer the claims made without credibility that  employ deception rather than fact.

Analysis Conclusion:

The author shows awareness of the weakness of his assertion, as well as his employment of the deceptive technique of propaganda.

The author reports that which is not truth, with his premise an arrest for having an affair.

The author then introduces various sources of whom he seeks to connect to the legal system.

The weakness within the language shows an overall desperate need to persuade, rather than factual reporting.

The author is deceptive in his attempts to convince the public of a police failure that does not exist, and does not masquerade his contempt for the victim's father, deliberately using descriptive language that indicates deception, while failing to connect either Heather's date, Schrialdi, nor her father, to the murder.

The writing is so poor that it may be that English is a second language.

How does the common use of "they" as a gender-neutral singular pronoun affect Statement Analysis?

From the Wall Street Journal last spring:
When pressed on whether “they” could serve as a singular pronoun, my fellow lexicographers and I pointed out that it already has done so for about seven centuries, appearing in the work of writers from Chaucer to Shakespeare to Jane Austen.

Merriam-Webster associate editor Emily Brewster turned the question back to the audience. The only thing standing in the way of singular “they” becoming more acceptable? Copy editors who take it upon themselves to edit out the usage, she said.

He didn't think to mention the following regarding those who have unsuccessfully avoided becoming the prime suspects:

"Moorer remains under home detention monitoring and must provide the following to those officials: his new home address; name of employer; work address; verification of his employment; and waive any extradition from the state of Florida in the event of a violation of bond, according to the order.

Moorer must also check in with home detention officials at their discretion and at least once a month pay fees and undergo any required drug tests, the order showed. He must also notify officials if his address or employment status changes, which could result in a violation of his bond.

Moorer and his 43-year-old wife, Tammy Moorer, were each charged in February 2014 with murder and kidnapping in connection with 20-year-old Heather Elvis’ disappearance. The couple were each released in January on $100,000 bail following a hearing before Dennis in Charleston. Restrictions on their bond included GPS monitoring, they stay five miles away from the home of Heather Elvis’ parents and report to court.'

O that gag orders are made so as not to jeopordise the possibility of a fair trial:

'In March 2014, Circuit Court Judge Steven John issued a gag order, which prohibits any prosecutors, defense attorneys or their staffs and members of law enforcement, who have investigated the case, to speak publicly or release documents regarding the case.'

He also omitted to mention that the Moorers are not squeaky clean themselves, though the courts may decide otherwise (if they haven't already, in these other cases):

'The couple also face two counts of indecent exposure and one count of obstructing justice, according to court records.

In June 2014, state officials charged the couple with making a false statement on an application for Medicaid and obtaining a signature or property under false pretenses with a value of $10,000 or more, authorities said.'

O.k., slight mini rant and venting here on reporting style. Pet peeve alert: I am SO tired of lazy "reporters" using the phrase "reach out". The correct terminology is contacted. Reach out means to extend a part of one's body toward another(typically the arm or hand). It is so unprofessional, illiterate, and lazy to use slang terms in a news article. How can they possibly be expected to be perceived as an expert in their field on anything? It cheapens the value of the information presented and the interviewer's credibility and qualifications as a journalist.

English lesson over now ;)

The circumstantial evidence was pretty convincing. The text messages, Facebook posts disparaging the victim, the alibi that Sidney was cuffed to the bed that night, the surveillance of a truck similar to the Moorers around where heathers car was found.... all that plus the police cleared everyone else.
At least the Moorers have one person on their side to send them canteen money in prison.

Foolsfeedonfolly said...

Peter- Very informative analysis! Thank you! It just occurred to me that the entire article presents allegations why everyone else should be considered a suspect(or a "prime" suspect). However, for someone who liberally attributing unnamed sources, the author conspicuously fails to cite any source to support his/her assertion that Sidney and Tammy were arrested "based on the evidence that Sidney previously had an affair with Heather Elvis". How would the author know this, unless he/she were were LE, the person constructing/presenting/filing the charging documents,or the Judge. What evidence does he/she present to support that claim? None, likely because no such evidence exists.

Secondly, the author's multiple unnamed sources can't all be correct as they supply conflicting information...automatic credibility issue for both the author and his sources.

Third, clearly the author is biased if he has to employ guilt via "relativity". ;) My brother was jailed once, does that make me a kidnapper, murderer,or con artist? Hardly. [heavy sarcasm] That's immature grade school logic at least, desperation to deceive at best.

Foolsfeedonfolly said...

One last point (or parting shot at the author)- How does he/she know why Steve Schiraldi would refuse police accessing his phone(if in fact that is true- an unnamed source with no verifiable authority equals no source). Did he/she "reach out" to Steve Schiraldi and question him about this alleged episode? Why not? Because there either is no confidential source or he personally, does not believe and trust his own confidential source. If Schiraldi did in fact refuse LE access to his phone, LE could simply obtain a Subpoena for all of his phones, phone records, text messages, and his computer(s) (essentially any electronic means of transferring information). He was the last known person with missing Heather Elvis.

On a separate note, not accusing or implying Schiraldi at all here-People regularly refuse LE access to their phone for reasons not pertaining to a missing person per see (like an affair, sexting, illegal drug activity, gang-related activity, etc.).

I'm still tripping up on "they," Peter. This is obviously written by someone attempting to masquerade as a journalist, but can't elevate his or her writing from a colloquial style of writing. The sentence begins with the article "The," and "source" is still singular, which is why I believe it is a gender-neutral, singular use of "they." It looks like an attempt at concealing an anonymous, possibly apocryphal, source by not even revealing gender.

If there is something I am missing, please explain more fully. Pronouns being such a fundamental piece of Statement Analysis, the plural "they" vs. the gender-neutral, singular "they" seems like a thing that should be cleared up.

The comment of mine about English being the second language was intentional.

When writing is this poor, it is not just the awkwardness of asserting someone he does not believe, but the actual writing, itself, reveals a lack of writing skill that is so poor that it could be from someone who writes poorly because of second language.

The Tammy supporters are few and rabid. The hatred of the victim's father is intense.

Tammy, however, 'broke the rules' in her open hostility towards the victim, Heather. I now use it to show:

a. Deception
b. How "most likely" will still face "least likely" and how we must remain open.

I agree with Peter. Tammy Moorer's open hostility was a good lesson in keeping an open mind. It is off topic but did you see the new video showing the killing of dogs in Iran? They are being killed in the UK by poisoning because they are offensive to Muslims. The new video is gross but is worth watching. I found this but where did they get such hatred of dogs? Where I used to live we could not bring service dogs on cabbies or buses if the driver was muslim.

There are over 100 verses in the Quran that command Muslims to be violent against unbelievers until they either convert or pay jizya and feel themselves subdued. There is no historical reference or figurative connotation associated with these scriptures, as is in the New Testament of the Bible. In fact, the Islamic Prophet Muhammad made sure that Muslims would take these commands literally by modeling their compulsive nature himself.

For one to truly follow Islam, one must emulate Muhammad to the best of their ability. This includes beheading, raping, enslaving, lying, and molesting children. To say that any of these practices are un-Islamic is to say that the prophet is un-Islamic. For a Muslim, that is considered blasphemy. For a non-Muslim, that is considered ignorance.

The teaching is that dogs are "unclean" and that Mohammad said that black dogs, in particular, are demonic.

In Europe, an actress was so frightened of being called "Islamophobic" in placing an ad for a dog walker that she went as far as to mention this, not wishing to offend anyone, while seeking a dog walker

She was nailed in the media for it in one of those "damned if I do; damned if I don't"

Some LE have reported dog poisonings where media refused to report it.

In Europe, it is common today for media to be subsidized by the state, and, for example, Germans have little revelation in media about crime, crime statistics, impact, and so on. In Sweden, everything is done by the government to cover its failures and play the role of Dhimmi

When Americans are killed by Muslims Obama goes on television to lecture Christians and seek to protect Muslims. When the CIA revealed just how much he armed ISIS, he was silent and the little that came from the White House sought to push the blame elsewhere.

During the Iran crisis, Iranians were not allowed into the country. It makes sense not to import those who despise us, but all judgment today is to make someone "feel bad" about themselves.

Laws that "feel good" but do not "do good" are most popular.

Dhimmitude: German school children cleaning up the feces, while the government hands out "how not to rape" brochures.

The actions, given taqyiva, speak loudest.

Peter Hyatt said...

The off topic: Andrew McCarthy wrote:

It is not just that the word terror appears several times in the Koran; it is that the word appears in a particular context: The duty of Muslims to act as Allah’s instrument to terrorize non-Muslims is a recurring scriptural theme. In Sura 3:151, to take one of several examples, Muslims are admonished:

Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the unbelievers.

Omar Abdel Rahman, the “Blind Sheikh” I prosecuted in the mid-'90s after his cell bombed the World Trade Center and planned similar strikes against other New York City landmarks, was a renowned scholar of Islamic jurisprudence. Indeed -- and this is worth pausing over -- his mastery of our enemy’s ideology was the sole source of his authority to approve jihadist attacks.

And

Understand: the president is not refusing to associate terror with Islam out of political correctness. His delusion is ideological. It informs his every decision. It is why the terrorist threat has so intensified, and why we are in more peril today than at any time since before the 9/11 attacks.

The Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) strategy has gotten some way overdue attention in the two weeks since 14 Americans were killed by the San Bernardino jihadists. As I’ve recently recounted, Obama’s Department of Homeland Security published CVE training instructions for federal agencies involved in national security. All of the two-page “Do’s and Don’ts” [sic] document is breathtakingly detached from life here on earth, but buried in the middle is a specific directive that speaks volumes:

Don’t use training that is all “war stories,” which may rely too much on outdated information and overgeneralizations. Regaling an audience with a blow-by-blow account of a 2003 terrorism investigation does not address the changing nature of violent extremism we face today.

Obama believes the nature of terrorism is changing. This is absurd. The violence today is executed by jihadists. They are motivated by a scripture-based doctrinal command to impose sharia -- Islam’s societal framework and legal code, which is the necessary precondition to Islamicizing a society and, ultimately, establishing a caliphate. That is why they kill today, it is why they killed in 2003, in 1993, in 1800, in 1565, in 1064, in 732, and so on all the way back to the raids Muhammad himself led in the seventh century. The technology and tactics of violent jihadism have changed over time; the nature of it has been the same for nearly a millennium-and-a-half.

Notice he says sorry, but he doesn't own it. How does that fit with SA? I notice versions of lie used 5 time, I'm sure that means something.... And I also notice he never says he didn't murder her. Not once was dropping charges listed either.HMMMM

You are wrong. It is not a reliable denial. I'm only bothering to answer you for the benefit of those who were not here when Peter first posted about Heather. You wouldn't drop your attacks on Terry Elvis then, and obviously not now. I see you've brought your "multiple" friends again. Try naming them. I mix up all the anons.

If I were accused of a murder (or any crime) I didn't commit, I'd tell everyone that I didn't do it and there's not a gag order on earth that could stop me. I really don't think they are worried about the gag order because they both posted about the case on Facebook.

Merry Christmas! I was hoping you were reading. I thought you might especially enjoy how all our old friends came out to play on this post. Lol. Of course, with the deletions, the post now looks schizophrenic. I'm praying for you.

I went to Sidney Moorers Facebook page and on his post about setting the story straight, referenced above, there was only one comment made by Christian Moorer which gives a link to the urban dictionary and the phrase 'have a Disney day'. According to the urban dictionary 'have a Disney day' is often used by Disney park employees as a secret code to f*** off, as in "I told that a**hole to have a Disney day" (that's the example used).

My name is Christian Moorer and I'm the 16 year old son of Sidney and Tammy Moorer. No, I am not under a gag order and I can say anything I wish to say.

First of all there is a lot of illegal activity going on with this case. My family was searched without probable cause and search warrants were illegally signed to get into our house two times, my grandparents house two times, and to take our vehicle two different times in December and February. (This was after my mom allowed them to search our home and property without a search warrant as soon as they began looking for Heather. At that time dad was at HCPD answering the questions they asked over and over again trying to get him to twist his words. They would not allow him to leave even though he was not under arrest.) I think cops assumed if they kidnapped my mom and dad that they would turn on one another and confess, even if they were NOT guilty just to get back home to us kids. Well, it didn't work out as they planned. If a person was guilty of anything you best believe they'd tell the truth and avoid being held in jail away from their family for a year! My mom and dad had nothing to do with Heather's disappearance. They clearly don't have a motive.

Others have a lot of motive. Don't you get it? It's clear to see what certain people benefit from her leaving or disappearing. ($$$) A lot of people don't realize my family was away for 3 weeks in CALIFORNIA prior to Heather's disappearance. My mom was accused of beating her up while we were in California. The police didn't even know about the three week trip until after they took my parents to jail in February. Does this tell you how much investigation was put into the whole thing? That's why you no longer hear about that lie. If it wasn't my mom, who beat her up? And just to be clear my mom and Heather have never met or seen one another in person. Not one time. Another thing you don't hear about in recent months is that my mom was seeing another guy. That rules out the jealousy scenario so the police and solicitors don't mention that anymore.

Speaking of solicitors. Jimmy Richardson is friends with Terry Elvis on fb and many other Elvis family members. I believe this is a conflict of interest for he is trying to protect his friend Terry when he has more than enough evidence to place him under arrest today, and convict him. Jimmy Richardson should be looked into for covering up for his friend and allowing his friend to get away with the things he has let Terry get by with. Jimmy knows for a fact that Terry has been caught on video at our home several times driving a black Ford F150. The cops thought they had the only copies of this but surprise, copies are everywhere. They know this now because they have surfaced. Terry can no longer lie and deny that he was there. He has to make up new lies to cover up the old lies to try and fool you all that don't have a clue to what is really going on. Terry brags about his ties to HCPD, the police chief, the sheriff's department, and being close with Jimmy and the solicitors office. The case should be dropped due to that alone. Why are they protecting their friend Terry? Jimmy Richardson had no problem making a snide remark about my dad when the honest judge forced them to admit to their lies. I stand corrected, "MISTAKES". That also shows that Jimmy is out to get my dad due to his reputation being tarnished for all of the mistakes they have made.

Do you all recall that first bond hearing, it was more like a theatrical production where many lies were told, and then a gag order was placed on my mom and dad so they couldn't speak the truth when the police stated how many calls were made to them about my family being threatened and harassed? The calls were made because HCPD told us to call every time Terry or one of the people supporting him showed up. The HCPD was given video, photographs, text messages, and never did they do one thing to him. Meanwhile hate pages show up talking about murdering me and my siblings, raping my sister, and killing my entire bloodline. What kind of psychotic sociopath orchestrates that kind of thing? A mind that thinks that way is capable of murder, fraud, and just about anything else when he doesn't get his way.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zhorqTvB94o

Months later the same things have been done to other people that have come forward with information that were once doing evil deeds for him. They have turned on him and told the truth. This is why someone is freaking out, calling TV shows to broadcast old lies that have been proven to be false, and is begging for pity from people that don't know the truth. Ask yourself this citizens of Horry county and anyone else following this case. Why did Heather post so many negative things about her family? Why did she reference her Sly Fox address as a rape dungeon? Why was she begging for money to get away from Myrtle Beach? This all started months before my dad ever hired her. Where are the pictures of Heather with her loving family and her sister she is claimed to have been so close to? The family pictures look to be from years ago. I hate taking pictures but I'm in hundreds of them with my family this year alone.

I see above that another bogus petition has been started. Do you remember the one they put out a few months ago with all of their fake signatures on it trying to keep my mom and dad from making a living and supporting their family? For some reason this group of haters love to create fake facebook accounts and do unspeakable things. They are terrified of this judge because he's honest and abides by the constitution as Judge John should have and did not! Judge John falsely imprisoned my mom and dad for close to a year and caused damage that can never be undone including the deaths of two people. My grandfather and baby sibling. Terry knows he has lied to Judge Dennis. He lied about making contact with our family. He lied about stalking our family. He begged for a protection order from my mom and dad when it's my mom and dad that needed one from him!

kristi hurley said...

Perjury. That's the word I'm looking for. The Elvis family stood up in a court of law and said they never contacted our family. Well, how do they explain breaking into a gated neighborhood and going up to the door of Mr and Mrs. Larry Moorer in Summerville, SC? Are Morgan and Debby forgetting that they did this? My grandparents live in a gated neighborhood so they had to break in to get to their door. Is this not contact with the Moorer family? If it's not I'd like to know what is considered contact. If I'm not mistaken the Elvis family could be arrested for lying to the judge. Also Summerville is very close to Charleston, SC. It's not a hardship for them to drive 100 miles to harass my grandparents, but it's a bother to go to Charleston for court? They've contacted my grandparents in other ways as well, but we will save that for court. Terry also claims to have never had contact with my mom and dad until the text message he sent to my dad showed up. Then he created a lie to make an excuse for that. That was the first time he threatened to kill my entire family. December 19th, 2013, if I'm not mistaken. We had no idea who he was or why he was calling. 911 has a record from that night. My dad called them and guess what, cops were already outside surrounding our house. This was the first time my dad showed the cops EVERY text and phone call Heather's phone had made to him. The cops even called Heather's phone number from my dad's phone that night and said, "Let it ring." From the second the police called him he cooperated with the police. They want you to think he lied about the phone calls. He did not. Records will show that unless they suddenly disappear as other things have that show my parents whereabouts that night. Our house is located on a private road. It states that only guests and residents are to be back there. That black Ford F150 made many trips down our private road. Others were sent down it to plant evidence and to try and scare us. Once they realized cameras were all over the property they suddenly stopped. People that had been involved came clean and told the authorities what they had been put up to do. I'm pretty sure they didn't do a thing about it. Another cover up for a friend? We have asked for protection from this group and have been denied several times because HCPD and the solicitor ARE friends with the family. The truth is finally being reported and it has the Elvis family in an uproar. A persons past is a key factor in deciding what type of person they are and what they are capable of. Research things before you place judgment on someone. Get all of the facts and if that means you have to wait for it all to come out in court you wait. Remember my mom and dad are not able to go on the news and tell their side. The news stations are only reporting ONE SIDE of what has happened in this case. They made a big deal when they put on the show in Feb 2014, but since the truth has been exposed you don't see much written about the "mistakes" Jimmy and HCPD have made. They don't mention the violent criminal history of those close to Heather, or the strange spending of funds donated to help find her. They won't run a story telling the evil things Terry has done to us. They won't share the screenshots that Heather herself posted all over social media. Why not? Are they scared to spread the truth in fear of a lawsuit? You have told one lie after another on my family with nothing to back it up. A certain someone has a history that your journalists can research and uncover. Why hasn't the media done this? Who are you all trying to protect? Why don't you tell your readers the truth and stop being biased.

While I am at it let me clear some other rumors up. My family has never used welfare. They have been falsely accused of medicaid fraud which was later put on them to try and cover up some of the search warrant deceit. If they have a case they should bring it on. They haven't brought it to court because there's not a medicaid case, it's just sitting there to make them look bad. They could have made three times the money they made and still had been eligible for medicaid. Also ponder this one. They charged my parents with indecent exposure, then charged them with obstruction because they didn't believe the indecent exposure incident. Which is it? Contradiction at it's finest. You need to choose one or the other. Why haven't people that go on TV with several different stories been arrested for obstruction? From my understanding Bri W has changed her story several times and this isn't obstruction of justice? Fundraiser for us? Around December of 2014 friends set up a Christmas account for me and my siblings. The money was used for our Christmas. My mom and dad have never received a penny from fundraisers. The attorney's are not free. They are paid attorneys. It's shocking at the things people will make up under a fake profile to make themselves feel important.

Unlike you all, I know things about this case that the public hasn't heard yet. I know the truth. I know things that would shock the public and make all of you question what Jimmy is doing with your tax money. I've seen the reports. I know what's going on and it is way past due for this case against my mom and dad to be dropped. There is zero evidence on them because they had nothing to do with whatever happened to Heather. In my opinion my dad was set up. My mom was pulled into it because they thought she'd throw my dad under the bus. Crooked detectives and criminals despise us because we are a strong family who will stand up to anyone for what is right. This is why Terry hates my family so much, because we won't let him bully us. His threats are illegal and he is getting away with it, but he knows he doesn't scare us. This bothers him. I beg all of you that have been bullied and those keeping quiet in the wings just watching to ask questions. Call your solicitor and ask him why he won't get this over with. My family is hurting because of these false accusations. It has killed my grandfather and our baby brother or sister. We deserve to have our lives back and our name cleared. What has been done to my family is illegal and people with common sense know that. I'm not saying all officers are bad. We have dealt with a few good guys in Horry county since this has taken place. They know the truth, and they have compassion for the real victims. It's time for this to be over.

I'm adding links to the bond hearing that brought out the truth. Listen to how the state corrects their lies and calls them mistakes. Mistakes that have destroyed an innocent family. Mistakes that have taken two innocent lives. Mistakes that have caused the truth about Heather to remain a mystery. Mistakes that have cause taxpayers a lot of money. Mistakes that would have never happened had law enforcement, Donna Elder, and the solicitors office done their jobs properly. What ever happened to Donna anyway?

There are also a couple of articles out there that someone was not afraid to post. He has more credible evidence in these two pieces than the Sun News and local TV stations have reported on since the beginning. No we did not hire the guy and no we do not know him, but we do know some of these things the public is hearing for the first time are true. There's a lot more shocking truth that will be exposed if my mom and dad ever get their day in court.

If you want to sign a petition to help the missing google the petition for Britanee Drexel. Her mother is a prime example of how a loving parent goes about finding their missing child.

Stop feeling sorry for the wrong people. Feel sorry for Heather and the things she claims to have dealt with and the reasons for her needing to get away from SC. Maybe Heather is still alive and maybe she is reading this. Maybe she will come home if she feels the public will protect her.

Here are the links to the articles that you all should read and if you don't believe them pay to get background records yourself. And for the record, I was not forced or convinced to do this by anyone. I'm just sick of the stress and heartache this has put on my family. Just to be clear.

Sidney and Tammy Moorer killed Heather Elvis.

Tammy and a few have taken to vicious posting and attempts to disparage the victim's father. They use threats, intimidation, ridicule, and, in short, reflect the character of the Moorers.

As has been the policy since this case broke, all posts by them are deleted, and any replies, including copy/pastes will be deleted.

Eventually, the SPAM folder does so automatically.

Finally the voice of reason. More so logic and common sense. Thank you kind sir. No One rants about a murdered girl or tries to incriminate a family suffering unless they are either 1 ) crazy or 2 ) attempting to deflect from their own guilt. I opt for both :). The little secret is that all attempts to do so only magnifies the nature of their involvement. IMHO

...There is zero evidence on them because they had nothing to do with whatever happened to Heather. In my opinion my dad was set up. My mom was pulled into it because they thought she'd throw my dad under the bus. ...

^This

I also am of the strong belief that the son is not the author of this "broadcast", that it is his mother, Tammy, who wrote it and herein lies what happened. I think this is leakage. As in, Tammy went crying to daddy about what Sidney "did to her". Being a daddy's girl, her father conspired (with Tammy) to wipe Heather from the face of the earth -- and set Sidney up in the process.

The author leaks what's on her mind (dad) in the subsequent thought, (what her "dad" did to her kids' "dad").

Who would set Sydney up and why?/Rhetorical

IMO, in the end, "Dad" took care of whatever "happened" to Heather, so if Tammy (the woman scorned,) were given a lie detector test and asked the question if she knew where Heather Elvis is/what happened to her, and she responded, "no", she would pass for the simple fact that Tammy's dad kept her in the dark/clean of anything incriminating.

I'm thinking that Tammy's dad couldn't take the stress of his daughter getting caught up in/arrested for something he did and ultimately that's what killed him. He couldn't get her out without clearing Sidney in the process (the fall guy,) when ultimately it was Sidney who he wanted to "pay" for humiliating his daughter.

This is my opinion based on what I have learned about statement analysis and on-line information/discussion related to the Heather Elvis case.

Nic said...

I would argue that Heather was made to pay (with her life) and Tammy's dad indulged his daughter by allowing Sidney to live, but sit in a "time out"/jail to teach him a lesson.

Tammy has disregarded our justice system numerous times and shown her lack of control in the courtroom by speaking directly to the judge which is not permitted unless he directly asks her a question. Her attorney has had to cover her mouth with his hands. If she can't manage her own behavior in a court of law it will prove she couldn't control her actions when it came to Heather who was much younger and prettier. Justice will prevail.

John mcgowan said...

Tammy Moorer in her overt degradation towards Heather (the expected, when involvement, is usually very subtle) thus sending up a "pink" flag. Myself and others, Peter included, were taken aback at the brutality of her language. This was not expected. SA, learns, and we adapt. This was a lesson, never to be forgotten.

Peter,
