Happy Easter

In the UK, a Muslim was knifed to death for posting a sign wishing a Happy Easter to his Christian customers.

A Muslim shopkeeper of Pakistani origin was murdered in the Scottish city Glasgow after posting messages of support to Christians celebrating Easter.

Asad Shah, 40, posted on his Facebook page “Good Friday and a very Happy Easter, especially to my beloved Christian nation. Let's follow the real footstep of beloved holy Jesus Christ and get the real success in both worlds.”
Around four hours later he was murdered via knife wounds and died on his way to the hospital.

Several major leftists newspapers refused to report that this was a religious killing by an Islamist supremacist. It is reported that Shah was a Muslim and not a former Muslim.  Islam teaches the death penalty must be applied to anyone who decides to no longer be a Muslim.

As psychologist Nicolai Sennells has shown, and I have written here, the first victim of Islam is the Muslim.

These are people born into an oppressive and dark ideology that focuses upon death and sees the world divided into two:  submissive and that to be conquered.

Like its founder, it is specifically sexually violent.  It is a contagion that once it hits a land, it is either defeated through containment, driven out, or it takes over.

Many former Muslims cite reading the Koran for themselves, for the first time, as their reason to no longer follow it as a religion.

For those who do not fear this ideology, in the past 30 days,

135 attacks

1012 dead

2914 injured.

Today, being Easter, we can expect more killed today, for daring to not believe in Islam.

Womens' rights groups support Islam; the most oppressive system against women ever devised.

Leftist politicians support Islam; the most oppressive and successful system squelching freedom ever devised.

It is to embrace death.

It is suicide.

How many will die today; for refusing to recant their faith in Christ?

Something for analysts and future analysts to consider:

Everyone has a 'god' in life.

For some, it takes some digging to get to, but eventually you can identify their 'principle passion' or better:

their final arbitrator of right from wrong.

For the socialist, the state is their 'god', while for others, it is self, while others live, die and serve money, but whatever it is, it is there for you to discover.

As you discover this, you will understand the language better, and see the thinking process beneath it.  That is, we become like our 'god' in belief first, and on to personality, as revealed by our words.

For some, a crisis in life can awaken them to greater self awareness, while others, it is often age and reduced strength in life, to resist life's challenges, that brings out the truth.

For the analyst, seeking truth, this is fascinating, complex and worth the exploration.

It is for this reason that I find autobiographies so fascinating and often say that any life worth living is worth reading about.

Not all autobiographies are well written, but every life is a life story worth telling.  Everyone has something to contribute and even in just an hour, I enjoy asking someone to "tell me about yourself" and find that I can learn from anyone, at any time, from any age or background.

Human nature is deeply complex; more than we may ever know, including throughout history in language, but the discovery is never dull nor without surprises.

To Christian readers:

Happy and safe Easter.

Yes, critical thinking appears to be in short supply.

Happy Easter, Peter.

I feel Muslims have sent a message to other's who may not be extreme by killing this poor man. In 4 hours he is dead? I hope his family can find some peace. No doubt, this will discourage others who are trying to get along with the rest of society (assimilate). I hope and pray his killers are found.

Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamic extremist group, has killed more people in the name of jihad than the Islamic State (ISIS), according to the findings of a new report. Since 2000, when twelve Northern Nigerian states began implementing or more fully enforcing Islamic sharia law, "between 9,000 to 11,500 Christians" have been killed. This is "a conservative estimate."

In addition, "1.3 million Christians have become internally displaced or forced to relocate elsewhere," and "13,000 churches have been closed or destroyed altogether." Countless "thousands of Christian businesses, houses and other property have been destroyed."

A man is under arrest but the ideology that was his motive was scrubbed from leftist news accounts which fear truth

USimilarly, according to a West African source, "Once Boko Haram is defeated, the problem will not be solved. Christians living under Sharia law are facing discrimination and marginalization and have limited to no access to federal rights."

The report finally finds that much of the anti-Christian violence derives from the historical "migration of Muslims into non-Muslim territories in northern Nigeria to promote the Islamic religious and missionary agenda in all parts of northern Nigeria." In other words, what Christians in Nigeria are experiencing is a live snapshot of what millions of Christians and other non-Muslims have experienced since the seventh century, when Islam "migrated" to their borders: violence, persecution, enslavement, and the destruction of churches.

The saddest reality---

of these findings contradict the Obama Administration's official narrative concerning the unrest in Nigeria. For years, the administration refused to list Boko Haram — which has slaughtered more Christians and "apostates" than even ISIS — as a terrorist organization. It finally did so in November 2013, after several years of pressure from lawmakers, human rights activists, and lobbyists.

Statement Analysis Blog said...

Even so, the Obama Administration refuses to associate Boko Haram — an organization that defines itself in purely Islamic terms — with Islam, just as it refuses to associate the ISIS with Islam. Although Boko Haram and its allies have yet to miss a year when they do not bomb or burn several churches during the Christmas or Easter celebrations, on Easter Day, 2012, after the organization had murdered 39 Christian worshippers, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson said: "I want to take this opportunity to stress one key point and that is that religion is not driving extremist violence" in the Muslim-majority north.

So what is? The administration attributes to Boko Haram the same motivation it attributes to the Islamic State — or as President Bill Clinton once memorably put it in a reference to Boko Haram's murder campaign: "inequality" and "poverty" are "what's fueling all this stuff."

That assessment is similar to the Obama Administration's claim that "a lack of opportunity for jobs" is what created ISIS; or CIA John Brennan's claim that the jihadi ideology the world over is "fed a lot of times by, you know, political repression, by economic, you know, disenfranchisement, by, you know, lack of education and ignorance, so there — there are a number of phenomena right now that I think are fueling the fires of, you know, this ideology."

Christian life in Muslim-majority areas of Nigeria is merely a microcosm of Christian life in Muslim-majority nations around the world. Christians are being persecuted and killed, their churches banned, burned or bombed. Thanks to Saudi petrodollars, the men behind the persecution are almost always "influenced by Wahhabi and Salafist teaching," and include not just "extremists," but also the "political and religious elite." In all cases, the Obama Administration looks the other way, while insisting that the jihad is a product of "inequality," "poverty" and "a lack of opportunity for jobs" — never of Islamic teaching.

How can we turn our backs on these people?

Our selective morality is sickening.

The "war on Christianity" finds no empathy or solace from leftist politicians, media or groups.

The Christians condemned the stoning of homosexuals but no such condemnation comes from them against the genocide of Christians in Islamic lands.

The Christians have been outspoken against the abuse of women and the rape crisis of Islam ideology in Europe while no such support is afforded to the Coptics being killed and driven from their homelands.

We are a divided people worse than any time in more than a century.

It ought not be.

The followers of Islam will kill their own children in the name of "honor" for ignoring Sharia law.

What is to stop them from killing "infidels" who resist?

Europe is feeling the oppression of Islam by the rapes and killings.

I am curious about a parallel between extremists who claim religious motivations.

I am a Christian (Protestant, Evangelical), and I cringe when someone claims Christian motivations for things that are criminal/wrong. For instance, I abhor it when someone or some organization claims Christian values as a reason to kill those involved with abortions -- such as Roeder shooting Dr. Tiller or "The Army of God" and Paul Jennings Hill or the "Phinneas Priests" or Koop of "The Lambs of God" killing Dr. Slepien.

For me, I do not see any of those above acting according to Christians values or teachings, even though they claim it. I was careful, by the way, to include examples where the people claimed to do the crimes BECAUSE of their Christian faith. I did not include examples of someone who happened to be Christian and committed a crime.

The people above committed crimes, claimed Christianity as a reason, but they do not represent Christianity. Even stronger, I believe they perverted Christian teaching. They twist the Bible and end up with an ideology, faith, and course of action that is wrong. It makes me hopping mad when people say Christians are responsible for things like that.

I've wondered if this is similar to the attacks happening around the world in which those of the Muslim faith committed crimes (Paris, Brussels, Easter Sunday attacks). Are these people who are twisting the proper Muslim teachings? Do Muslims get just as upset when the events are "Islamic Terrorism" as I do when abortion bombers/murderers are called "Christian Terrorists"?

I have read the recent blog posts from Peter that include problematic Islamic ideology about jihad and acceptability of lying. But I've also read (in other sources) nonChristians write about Old Testament themes and use verses to show that the anti-abortion people were following Christian tenets (even though they weren't.)

God damn it. He was stabbed to death for extending good wishes to those with a different religion. I hope those who have been thinking about leaving the "religion of peace" get out as fast as they can.

They can't.
To do so would make them apostate and thus their death is demanded by their ideology.
To leave their 'religion' is to commit the worst of all crimes.
They cannot be allowed to live.
They will not be allowed to live.

Those who permit or ignore apostasy will also be punished with death.

Hi JBlans

Most Christian religions follow the new testament teachings.
There are a few that follow parts of the old testament regarding rituals and beliefs (snake handling religions as an example)
Judaism is based on the Talmud which is basically the old testament.
No christian religious person would follow the old testament rules and demands such as stoning or owning slaves etc today.
Even judaism has reformed slightly over the centuries as knowledge has grown and we learn about other cultures and worlds.

Islam can never reform.
To do so would be to admit the koran and thus its god and prophet are imperfect.
Something impossible to even consider.
If their god and prophet are imperfect and thus wrong on occasion, where are they wrong and how can it be made right?
To correct an imperfection, to correct that which is wrong would be to place them over and above their god and prophet, it would make them more powerful than god.
Since god is perfect and immortal and man is imperfect and mortal, it cannot happen, it cannot be allowed to hapen.
Anyone who makes such a claim must be destroyed.

Tania, we need to have a place of safety people can go to if they want to get out. I know, it's not the answer but it'd be a start. Like safe houses, new identities, something.
There HAS to be a way to help people get out.

Anytime critisism of Islam is made people want to counter with critisism of Christianity. Why? To muddy the waters and attempt to excuse Islam. It's annoying as hell. When Christians start beheading and burning non-christians alive, sure, lets talk about the scurge of Christianity but until then we have to focus on Islam.
