Pronoun Commitment: Or, Not

I will ask the boss about it.

Pronouns give us commitment and the lack of pronouns reduces commitment.  There is a good deal of thought processing behind a single dropping of a pronoun with estimates up to as many as 10 sentences flowing through the mind at a single dropped pronoun.  There is distancing due to "zero commitment" but there is a psychological distancing within a dropped pronoun that has lots of layers of thought behind it.

I will ask the boss about it.

Will ask the boss about it.

Think will ask the boss about it.

Note the progression and the thought process behind the three statements as the distance grows, so does the processing of thought behind it.

1.  "I will ask the boss about it"

Thought process behind it:

"He is easy to talk to.  He knows the answers.  I need this answer.  I will go get it.  No need to wait.  He is approachable.  His door is always open and he greets me well. He will smile.  Good guy.  Nice kids, too.  Smart man.  I will get coffee first and see if he wants one too. "

2.  "Will ask the boss about it."

Thought process behind it:

"I need the info but I hesitate to ask him.  He is not the easiest to talk to.  Maybe someone will beat me to it. Maybe I can figure it out on my own.  I'll give it an hour, and if no one knows by then, I will go and ask.  I am slightly hesitant.  I don't want him thinking that I can't figure things out for myself.  I've been here two years.  I don't know what to do.  I should flip a coin."

3.  "Think will ask the boss about it."

Thought Process behind it:

"He is a pain in the neck.  I need this info but he always acts like we are interrupting his on line surfing time and then acts like we should have known it anyway.  He probably doesn't even know the answer and he will know we are putting the responsibility of not knowing on his shoulders.  He'll resent us all.  One of us will have to get the info, but it ain't gonna be me.  I don't need the stress. I've been here two years and this guy is a magician at disappearing acts yet he always looks good to the top.  Nah, I am not the one.  Someone else has to, but it will be on all of us.  We will look bad.  He is nasty.  I would like to spill my coffee on his desk."

911 call released from man claiming explosives planted at Bolthouse Farms

Bombs threats are always serious and should be investigated as so. We do see however, the infamous #3 raising it's head once again.

A 911 call was released from when Bolthouse Farms was evacuated on February 5, 2016 after the Bakersfield Police Department received a call saying three explosives had been planted in the complex.

Approximately 1,300 employees were evacuated around 4 PM and were not allowed back in until 7:30 PM to claim their belongings. They were only allowed in after small areas in the facility were deemed clear.

BPD, Kern County Sheriff's Department, Hazmat and Kern County Fire Department and medical teams were on site for the early part of the evening.

On February 6, 2016, Deputies served a search warrant in the 5100 block of La Pinta Maria Drive.

Dwaine Powell was contacted at the scene and taken in custody without incident.

Powell was booked into the Central Receiving Facility on the charge of PC 148.1(c), making a false bomb report.

In the 911 call that officials released on March 3, 2016, a man, who was later identified as Powell, is heard saying, "I was passed over for a position that I should've had and I'm pretty pissed off." "So the only thing I have to say is that I planted 3 pipe bombs on the premise with a detonator in three different locations and the only reason I'm giving you guys a heads up is because there are a couple people there that I like who should've had the day off."

Bolthouse Farms sells a line of fresh juice beverages. According to the business research company, Bolthouse Farms is one of the United States' leading producers of carrots.

"Well this is not anything I ever wanted to have to do, been trying to stay out of everything with my kids little brother Deorr Jr who is missing."

"been trying to stay out of everything"

Thought process behind it:

'been trying' :
trying: indicates failure.
been: a past participle. verb tense affects the thought

Pronoun shifting ('change in reality') reflects the nature of his and Trina's relationship. Brennon avoids commitment only in this variant phrase.  He's experienced a 'betrayal of trust' between he and Trina, an ally at one time

If I say that phrase it means you have a snowball's chance in hell of me stopping what I am doing to attend to your self-inflicted emergency.

Off topic: Is the word "definitely" always a sign of deception? As in the sentence "I would definitely love to get together sometime."

Added words weaken. The most straightforward (honest) way to say it would be 'i would love to get together' the words definitely and sometime weaken the statement..

Off topic: "Is the word "definitely" always a sign of deception? As in the sentence "I would definitely love to get together sometime."

"definitely"

This maybe used to add enthusiasm also. If in the past, for example, and for what ever reason. The subject thought there was no chance of getting together the emphasis is added. "definitely"

"sometime."

Was this parroted back.

Eg

"would you like to get together sometime.?"

"I would definitely love to get together sometime."

What is the context?

Anonymous said...

I catch myself saying "they" (instead of "we") when speaking as a representative of the government-service agency I've worked for, for many years. People call us, in desperate need of housing assistance, and I say "They aren't taking applications - - they are working through a very long waiting list. They are predicting it will be several years before new applications will be accepted." Everything I tell the callers is true, but I just can't get myself to take ownership of the bad news I have to give them.

Anonymous said...

It's meant to persuade. The person saying it doesn't intend on getting together.

Anonymous said...

If you're not one of the people who makes the decisions why would you take ownership?

Anonymous said...

Or, even better,"let's get together. What does your schedule look like this week?"
I've found that most American women (I'm a foreigner) use statements of getting together like a sort of punctuation mark at the end of a brief meeting; instead of simply saying "goodbye, it was nice seeing you."

Anonymous said...

Hey guys thanks for helping me solve this.
John, yes, "sometime" was parroted back...probably helps to have context (my fault)...We were chatting through FB here and there and I said kind of out of the blue "since we're in the same town we should get together sometime". So the response was kind of confusing. The response was "Just started working full-time again (I hate it) sucks only having 4 hours to myself...lol yeah definitely would love to get together sometime."
The person had posted complaining about working very long hours in new job and often weekends too, so that part is true...Im just trying to figure out if it was a total blow off...it probably should be obvious but Im not sure cause I dont really understand the tone of it...if it means A) Im blowing you off or B) I work a lot, sucks not having much free time, would be nice to get out sometime??? Sorry if I sound stupid lol! note: person is now enthusiastically replying to comments I make to them on fb?! Geez it's a lot easier to just stay single...

John mcgowan said...

Hi Anon

The response was "Just started working full-time again (I hate it) sucks only having 4 hours to myself...lol yeah definitely would love to get together sometime."

The "person" drops the pronoun "I" when they talk about "working"

"Just started working full-time again

This lacks commitment to the job. We see this when the "person" goes on to say "(I hate it)" he owns hating it. This is consistent.

They then say "lol yeah definitely would love to get together sometime."

Note the dropped pronoun before "definitely," which wasn't in your OP, is that a direct quote? If it is and given that they know how to use the pronoun "i" "(I hate it)," we have to ask why the "person" drops the pronoun here?.

Are they committed?

I would go back and read more of their posts, be they PMs or in general, and note their pronoun usage. Where they appear and where they are missing.

Cole Rains and his wife Justine are thanking their lucky stars and installing more security at their home after they found an intruder hiding under their four-year-old son's bed.

"My six-year-old Camden, he hears somebody at the door, goes over and unlocks the door just thinking it's his uncle bringing the dog back in; in walks a 20-year-old he doesn't know," says Rains. "Tells my child to don't go tell your mom and dad; then gets up and walks into my four-year-old's room and crawls under the bed and pulls things in front of him so we can't see him."

But the six-year-old did go tell his parents who were asleep in their bedroom.

"My wife gets up, throws clothes on real quick; starts searching around the house," says Rains. "She's checking in the four-year-old's room, in the closet, everywhere, and she looks back and here is my six-year-old looking under the bed so she bends down and sees a man's face."

Startled by what she saw Justine told Cole to grab his gun.

"I grab my 22-revolver, I grab my flashlight, and me in a pair of boxer shorts go into my kids room; when I look underneath there I see his feet and his jeans," says Rains.

After calling for his brother-in-law, the two confront the intruder, who claims to be lost.

"He requested a cell phone to call his mother," says homeowner Cody Luker.

Instead of making a phone call the man took off; so Cody, a Marine, pursued.

"We ran through here between the tree and the fence line there," says Luker.

"I heard my brother-in-law tackle the guy over here and I took off toward the sound and jumped on both of them and we proceeded to hold him down until the cops showed up," says Rains.

Everyone in the home survived the ordeal with just a few scratches.
The intruder had an outstanding warrant and is currently being held in the Taney County Jail.

I don't know if the person really wants to get together or not - If I didn't want to meet up with someone, I wouldn't use both 'definitely' and 'sometime' (I don't think) - to me it sounds (almost) like the person would (really/definitely) like to meet up but also feels too time-constrained to set a date for the time being. I'd probably leave it up to them to make further contact, as they are so busy. That said, I sometimes say 'sometime' and do mean sometime, just not this week, next week, next month, if my head can't deal with meeting that person at the time being, but I would like to meet up, maybe in the summer, or next year. If the person might take that badly, 'sometime' sounds better than 'next year', especially if it's still only January now.

It's the 'lol yeah' and the placement of it which would make me wonder most if they didn't intend to meet up. I thought it could be embarrassment round complaining about the job, but I'd expect it to appear before the break, if so. 'Yeah' is also not a proper 'yes' -more of a less committed 'maybe', so altogether, I'd leave it up to them.

New full-time hours can be very demanding, maybe the person is just too time-pressed to think about socialising whilst still adapting to different hours, and is embarrassed about that - he or she was eager to tell you they hated the new job, which to me, seems quite something to volunteer to someone in whom you have no interest. Maybe worried to appear a complaining bore, but as the new job is on his/her mind at the moment, 'sometime' might be when the new job is not quite so new. Something embarrassing them, I'd think, in the actual or potential.

John McGowan and Hey Jude,

Thank you for taking the time to help me out by analyzing the statement! Both of you helped me a lot. I had it in my head that if he used the word "definitely" it's deceptive, but you two helped me see that it is a little more complicated than that. John, I went back and looked and his pronouns in other comments, messages etc are inconsistent, mostly missing but sometimes present. Hey Jude, I agree with your take on things...I feel you hit the nail on the head with your read on things, and also I will wait to see if he has time lol and initiates anything. I was using the word "person" because I am just kind of embarrassed to admit I am a woman asking out a guy lol! Long story short, my husband walked out on me and my son after 17 years 9 months ago. I dated one guy shortly after my husband left who was actually was an ex from 20 years ago, because he began pursuing me aggressively and I was rebounding and wasn't thinking straight. The guy was awful and still is. But anyway, dating at age 40 could possibly be one of the most awful things ever! Luckily, I am decent looking, but the guys who approach me (including ex who I dated on the rebound) I just don't care for...egomaniacs, users, alcoholics etc. So, this guy I asked out I had known way back in high school but not well, however, he seems very kind, gentle and somewhat shy, and at the point I am at, I figured what the heck do I have to lose lol by asking him out? Literally nothing unfortunately. Anyway, as I said, dating at age 40 could be one of the most horrendous things ever, so I am so grateful that you two took the time to look at the statement. Pretty much I am lost and have no idea what am doing lol! Thank you again, you both helped clarify things and helped me at least see it not as worst case scenario and also helped me see the ball is in his court, and to just not worry about it. I very much appreciate the feedback, as unfortunately I have no idea what I am doing dating at this age lol.

Authorities searching for three missing children in Colleton County

Includes 3:00 interview with The children's guardian, Willie D. Williams.

COLLETON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -
Emergency officials say the search resumed at 7 a.m. Thursday for three missing children in Colleton County.

Authorities say two girls Mya, 4 years old, Shamyra, 2, and a 3-year-old boy, Eugene McTeer, went missing Wednesday night at 6 p.m.

Despite speculation from the family, officials say they are treating the situation as if the children wandered away.

Crews are searching the area of Bent Gate Lane in Smoaks. They say anyone wanting to help them search is welcome to join.

The Colleton County Sheriff's Office said the 4-year-old girl was wearing a pink dress and black boots with fur inside, and the 2-year-old girl was wearing a pink shirt with light pink shorts, and black boots with fur inside.

The 3-year-old boy was wearing a green shirt with camo sleeves with orange trim, dark blue jeans and Sperry shoes with velcro straps.

Earlier, officials said the children may have wandered away. The children's guardian, Willie D. Williams, believes they were taken.

"I know somebody got my kids," he said. "They're not in the woods, they're missing."

Wilson said the kids came home from school, did homework and went outside to play before they disappeared.

"If I owe you anything, I'll give it to you. Just bring my kids home," he added.

Officials say the two girls are sisters and the little boy is their cousin.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the children are asked to call 843-549-7144.

An "Amber Alert" has not been issued.

Snipped:

The boy is a cousin of the little girls. A legal guardian of the missing boy also takes care of the missing sisters and they all live together on Bent Gate Lane in Smoaks. He lives with his wife who was at work at the time the kids went missing.

The mother and grandmother of the missing girls told News 2 that they know the kids weren’t playing in the woods because “that’s not what they do.”

http://counton2.com/2016/03/09/colleton-charleston-county-sheriffs-offices-search-for-missing-children/
......

The little boys father and guardian of the two little girls also says they will not be in the woods "They're not in the woods, they're missing."

So no "Amber Alert" suggests LE don't believe it's an abduction. Yet the father / guardian says " "I know somebody got my kids," suggesting the opposite.

"They're not in the woods

Could this be leakage?

Have the woods been fully searched?
Is it possible drugs / money are involved ?
Is the little girls father in the picture?
Is the little boys mother in the picture?
How long were they missing before LE were called?

At a news conference just after 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, Sheriff R.A. Strickland told News 2 that the children were found in an abandoned trailer, located about 100 yards away from their home. The Sheriff said that the abandoned trailer was searched on Wednesday night when the children went missing and nothing was found. Sheriff Strickland said the children were found when it was re-checked on Thursday morning.

There are many unanswered questions. Who took the children? How did they end up at the abandoned trailer after officers had already checked the trailer? Authorities plan to release more details after they investigate the incident.

It's about time!
My friends and family know the truth. They know we were set up and lied on from day one. They know that Terry Elvis stalked us in a black Ford F 150 and made death threats to us on many occasions beginning on the 19th of December, 2013, and they know that LE never did anything about it. We were told to call it in every time someone did something, only to have Rhodes use it against us. People see what type of detectives were involved in this. (Allen Large and his recent charges) People know that Rhodes perjured herself in a court of law calling this a heinous crime scene when in fact there was never a crime scene at all. People see that the prosecution stood up in a court of law and admitted to their lies and referred to them as mistakes. People see that the original corrupt judge John and Donna Elder ran from this case after they laid out all of those lies. Why?
You have all failed Heather by not searching all avenues. You knew in the beginning who was responsible for her disappearance and you never did a thing about it. Will you now? You have all of the evidence on the guilty one. Are you going to do the right thing and arrest him? You better have eyes on him because he knows this is the time to become the flight risk. Everyone knows what he did to her as early as age 4. People know he had a motive. People know he has a criminal (mostly expunged now) history. People have seen and experienced what he will do to anyone that exposes his wrongdoings or those that "tell on him." Have I seen those sealed DSS records? No, but I was told things. You can feel sorry for a family with a bad reputation and dark sinister past all you want. This is not about them. They wronged their daughter. They wrote her off a long time ago and never looked back. FEEL SORRY FOR HEATHER, not those who were ashamed of her. Not those that would go to any length to cover their involvement in all of this.
Horry County prosecuters' have failed! They arrested an innocent couple and held them hostage for more than two years. The solicitor got away with ruining their lives and damaging the lives of three young children. The court system got away with murder twice, in this case. Stress killed my father in law, and the torture within the jail killed my unborn child. The court never looked for what really happened to Heather back then. The court ignored her social media posts about leaving Myrtle Beach, her dislike for her mom and dad, her crazy life filled with drugs, underage drinking, and prostitution. However, they based her "death" on social media not being active? WTH? You can't post one sentence and expect someone to know what the entire book is about! I have the entire Twitter if anyone would ever like access to it.
Please note: We never saw Heather's social media posts until people began posting them after our names were brought into this circus.

...to be continued

Jessica Blans said...

...part 2
Why was the computer taken from her house within minutes of the car being found? Why did posts disappear that showed the real Heather as the person she is. You can't find a cat when posters tell you to search for a bird. Shady things were done long before this girl "disappeared". Someone out there had a plan all along. The family never wanted her "found" or they would not have went to the extent they have to "plant evidence," make hate pages, and hurt anyone that spoke out against them. You all do realize several people were giving this family money and doing dirty deeds for them, then flip flopped and turned in a ton of evidence on the family to the prosecution that was more than enough to arrest a certain man for murder. The solicitors office seems to have ignored all of this, up until now.
I'm being told about hateful comments on media pages. What kind of person will go on a news website and wish someone dead when there is zero evidence of a crime and zero evidence of a person being involved in it? Does it make you feel important to write hateful things that children might later have access to? Have you watched the bond hearings? Do you realize the lies that were told in this case? It shows that you are ignorant when you write such a thing. That makes you the lowest form of life on this planet. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Those that talk about their Maker take note that as a Christian one does not place judgement on another. Terry Elvis has done some evil things to me and my children beginning on the 19th of December and not once have I wished him dead. It's not right.
How many rights were violated in this case? Let's see.
False arrest
Illegal search warrants
Donna Elder and the Solicitor's office listening in on Atty/Client privileged phone calls made from jail.
Attorney mail being opened by the jail, and they even made an apology note on the letter!
We were denied access to the attorney we had been talking to from Charleston, SC.
We were forced to hire two attorney's when we only needed one.

...to be continued

Jessica Blans said...

part 3

I was forced to stay at the police station by Det Large and Det Cauble without being under arrest. They refused my request to leave or to call an attorney. They kept me for hours, never read me my rights, and denied my requests to leave and to call an attorney. I'm pretty sure this is illegal. This is what happened when I voluntarily went over to try and help them figure out what was going on. I went there to show them the 6 phone calls she made to my telephone and it got ugly from there.
Tammy never met or saw Heather in person. Tammy has never argued with Heather. Tammy has never sent sex photos to Heather. Tammy never threatened Heather. If you all had any sense at all you would see that when that text was sent Tammy had no idea who Heather was. It was the next morning that Tammy found out it was a female and even then she did not know her name. If you want to hate on my wife for using a word such as whore you might want to check out Heather's Twitter. She loved that kind of talk so if my wife is this horrible bitch for talking that way, then guess who else is a horrible bitch. That's right, so let's not go there. Let's say instead, sometimes women don't speak as they should. I'm sure Heather had reasons for all her nasty language posted on Twitter. That doesn't matter. I will make it clear to all of you that when that post was made to FB our cameras had witnessed that white truck backing into the ditch at our house. Also, at that time my wife believed that Heather may be in on a money scam with her daddy, and it pissed her off that the police were bringing our family name into this scandal. She had no idea what had taken place between Heather and I, and she didn't care.
Heather was not a "relationship". Heather was not a girlfriend. Heather was not a fling. Heather was not a mistress. Heather was a girl that chased me at work and traded oral sex for pumpkin spiced lattes. We talked on the phone about the things she was dealing with at work and the screwed up family life she had while living at home. If you ever get the chance to see the recovered text messages you will see that this is true. I have back up copies of it all, but it's not something you deserve to see right now.
All I am asking is for you to keep an open mind. I'm not out to hurt anyone and I have no hard feelings towards Heather. It was just a blow job, and if that comes across as insensitive I do apologize. But that's what it was. All of the lies and bullshit the news reported on would have messed with anyone's head that did not know us, and they should have done follow ups on all the false information they leaked, but they never will. That's how the news media works. They spread lies and gossip but when the truth is exposed they refuse to air that. They refuse to air their mistakes. Something else about that. I recently read an old article in the State paper. It quoted Saundra Rhodes saying her people followed us to Florida in Jan 2014 and everywhere else from mid December until they kidnapped us on 02/21/14. So, if Rhodes had us followed to Florida WHY would she lead the public to believe a males body found in FL might be that of Heather Elvis? She blatantly lied to you Horry County! If she had us followed she knew our every move and lead the public to believe this bullshit anyway! Hmm.

Tammy Moorer Yes, we were told to call the police department or 911 every time Terry, debbi, or any of their puppets trespassed. We listened, hoping HCPD would put the no trespass on the Elvis family as promised, but they never did. They let Terry and his gang get away with death threats, trespassing, lies about jeeps and ransoms, etc. He thinks he's invincible and that he deserves pity and sympathy because his daughter is missing. Well, his daughter deserves sympathy for the way she was treated by her family if what she writes and said is true. Should we feel sorry for Casey Anthony? Should we feel sorry for Drew Peterson? Should we feel sorry for Scott Peterson? No, we should not feel pity for family that hurts family, but the real victims, yes!

There's no excuse for threatening to murder and rape children. There's no excuse for making hate pages because you are trying to deflect! I know Terry Elvis signed his name to these "kill 'em all" FHE page rants! A normal person, a real Christian, would never under any circumstance do such sinister things. It goes to show you the things she was telling and writing were true! In my opinion of course!

Sidney Moorer will likely appear in court the weeks of June 13 and 20 on the remaining charges from the Heather Elvis case.

snip
Sidney Moorer reacted to the dismissal of the murder charges on Facebook late Thursday: “It's about time! My friends and family know the truth. They know we were set up and lied on from day one.”

Moorer then went on to write a lengthy post with his reaction to the dismissal and made accusations against police and prosecutors involve in the case.

Denis said he could not comment on Moorer’s post because he would be violating the gag order if he did so.

Whether Moorer’s response violates the gag order is between him and the judge, according to Horry County officials.

The Elvis family said Thursday night they hope the search for Heather will continue, and they hope she will remain the focus.

The family will release a statement Friday afternoon at Peachtree Landing where Elvis’ car was found abandoned on Dec. 19, 2013. Elvis was last heard from Dec. 18, 2013.

Friend requests, phone calls, trucks out front...you all want to speak to me.
Well, I will happily speak to any one of you as soon as you apologize to my family for all the lies you told on us. Tell the world there was NO blood found. Tell the world that Rhodes lied about the FL body just to drag our names through the mud a little longer. (According to Rhodes she followed us from mid December '13 until she had us kidnapped so she knows exactly where we were at all times while in FL) Update the fact that this "body" was a man. Let the audience know the solicitor LIED and was called out during the January bond hearings and forced to admit that there was NO evidence. And for the love of God tell the truth about Terry Elvis. You are the media. You know what he had expunged and you know the community wants answers about all that donation money. WMBF at least had the balls to report on Detective Large, who was one of the ringleaders in this circus. Put up Heather's posts' telling the world about her miserable life at home with the threesome that (I heard) had inconclusive results on their lie detector tests. I bet Debbi doesn't want the truth brought out in court. The DSS records. All the shady BS they've been doing to those that once supported them and anyone that supported our family. Why doesn't the media ask Debbi and Morgan why they broke into my mom and dad's gated neighborhood uninvited (trespassing onto their doorstep) and why did she lie to the judge and say their family never made contact with mine? Ask Terry why he wrote his prison'esque letters to my parents. Ask Terry why he called Polly's sister Joann and told Joann to tell Polly that she'd be burying one of her grandkids before Christmas if one of us didn't confess to a crime. Ask those questions and see his reaction. Are you scared his violent side will explode in your face? Maybe then YOU will be his next victim. Keep in mind if this by chance makes it into trial the DSS records will still be unsealed. The truth about your dark sinister family will be revealed more so than it has been already. Also keep in mind that my family has spent thousands of dollars to uncover the real identities of those fake profiles and fake pages you've been hiding behind. Too bad you didn't understand how the internet really works. It will ALL come out! Neely, Linda, Brenna. Thank you.

Sidney Moorer I just got the word from Boss that the pages are trying to clean up their images. Your best bet might be to own up to all the evil things you have done and maybe the apologies will go over better with those that know your true identities. Making fun of a young man that died in a tragic car accident? Threatening to murder and rape children? Photoshopping images onto anyone that spoke out against your hate, and anyone that tried to find out the truth. Sick! You are sick. I'm still in shock at the amount of money someone spent to purchase fake likes for her page. The lady with the dog...That money could have fed an entire animal shelter full of homeless pets. Shame on you. One of the other owners is very close to a dirty cop that has done some horrible things in this community. She is a jealous, vile, scary woman that lives right down the street from those apartments Heather was said to be living in with Bri. Seeing the dirty things the cop has done in the past makes me wonder if that couple had something to do with all of this. The files are pouring in and man oh man. It's too late to clean it up. It's too late to delete.

I followed this case along with most of you on this blogspot since the beginning. I am very aware of Peter's position regarding the topic of Mr. Elvis. I believe Peter had met or spoke with him, and I respect Peter. I attempted to go back to the 2014 blog archives to reread any the statement analysis of Terry Elvis' statements, but I couldn't find them. So I went to google and just read an "essay" or posting written by Terry, 30 days after Heather went missing.

I'm sorry to go against the crowd, but this man does not make me easy in my own skin.

1) His essay reads like story-telling time not a bereaved and worried father. He lays the groundwork, builds the tension and follows the climax and anticlimax. I have experience writing and editing and I recognized this style of writing right away.

2) He says he never met the guy she went out with that night. Why not? That to me would be the FIRST place he should think to go (with or without law enforcement). And, the longer Heather remained missing, the more I would want to talk to the guy who was the last person that he knew of, at that specific time, who had seen her alive.

3) I have a problem with the following sentences: He said this during the first half hour they realized she was missing and he was with LE at the time. He told LE, "Probably nothing to worry about, I told him. We do a search of the surrounding area and nothing looked alarming or out of the ordinary. During all the time we have been there, I frantically called Heather’s phone, but it goes to voice mail without ringing."

How can he be saying "is probably nothing to worry about" at the same time he says he is frantically calling her number? Secondly, the writing of this very critical period is actually NOT as emotional and in-depth as the rest of the essay. It comes across to me as "skimming". In addition, he says we "do" a search not "did" a search of the surrounding area. He mixes his tenses throughout the essay.

4) "These prayers quickly turned to prayers for God to strike me dead if that’s the price I needed to pay for Heather’s safety and return." Invoking God's name is normally a red flag of potential deception. Like many of you, I am a devout believer in our Lord, but is this giving him a pass on one of the red flags of statement analysis?"

Lastly, when I googled Mr. Elvis, a photo came up of him and another man at a strip club. I'm sorry, if that is Mr. Elvis, he is a scary looking man to me. So is his friend.

After rereading my post. I have to admit that I'm sure that law enforcement has cleared Mr. Elvis by now. But, I still don't like that essay he wrote. It was too "me" focused at such an early stage in the investigation. No disrespect intended. That's why I wanted to reread any analysis done on his statements.

After reading Sidney's multiple postings i noticed a similarity to Tammy's post. Tammy's post of hatred towards Heather before she was arrested was considered "unexpected".That a guilty person would post such vitrol towards their victim goes against the norm. If Sidney was guilty, he would surely have kept his mouth shut, taken the turn of luck he just experienced and disappear. He is not. He is venting two years worth of perceived injustice despite a gag order. This, to me, is unexpected.

We didn't do "anything" we were "charged with". They did do something that they weren't charged with?

REiterates again that they are 100% innocent on all charges. Weak. No reliable denial

Polo,

I too have followed this case, and I believe, despite my respect for Peter, that Terry Elvis is guilty. I acknowledge that, as Peter has pointed out to me, specifically, that it is not a logical conclusion. I also acknowledge that the circumstantial evidence against Tammy and Sidney is comprehensive. In other words, it sure as hell looks like they did it, they have the motive, etc., and absolutely, in most cases, this would be the conclusion.
However, in this case, statement analysis points in an entirely different direction, straight at Terry Elvis, for the reasons that you listed along with many others that I have pointed out many times.
There are ever so many points that also point at Terry Elvis also having a motive and those statements come from Heather herself on her tumblr. Again, these are points i have mentioned many times.
The truth will come out. Until then, all one can do is understand the deep bias here along with what I have come to accept is an understandable bias on the part of Peter towards the circumstantial evidence, although were he to look directly at statement analysis, he would most likely form a different conclusion. It is understandable, as cases are tried (sometimes successfully, other times not) on the basis of circumstantial evidence, that Peter perhaps feels locked into concluding Tammy and Sidney did it. Were I on a jury, looking only at circumstantial evidence, I probably would find them guilty also.
Statement analysis tells a different story here however. As you pointed out, besides the many verbal tells that point to him, Terry Elvis is an excellent example to study to recognize "storytelling"...his overarching style is one of deception with many other nuggets of deception contained in his writing.

Transcription of Deorr Kunz and Jessica Mitchell interview local news...

No question...picks up with Jessica..
JM: For me, it's hard to even leave my house. To go, to get gas or ya know, to the grocery store.

Cuts quickly to Vernal. Again, do not know what the question was

DK: Ya get up in the morning hopeful, you go to bed (3 second pause) just..no more answers.

Cut again after some backstory from interviewer...cuts again to Vernal with no question asked

DK: Its, it's, so much easier to blame parents...

Cut to Sheriff Bowerman saying he knows they know what happened.
Cut to Vernal...no question asked

DK: People have pretty much laid my son to rest already..

JM: People just coming up to us in general, in the public, telling us that they know we're gonna go to hell for what we did to our son, and how could we...CUT TO VERNAL

DK: If yer so damn positive we'd like to talk to ya, and so's the, infes...law enforcement, and FBI then if yer so positive.

FIRST QUESTION

REporter: Phillip Klein says you confessed to knowing where baby Deorr is, and that you won't go any further than that. Is that true?

JM: Absolutely not. No.

Reporter: So I have to ask you, did you murder your son?

DK: Absolutely not.

JM: No.

REporter: Was there an acciden?

JM & DK simultaneously: No.

DK: If there was, it wasn't to my knowledge.

JM: Exactly. We have no knowledge of that, if there was.

Reporter: You're saying you have nothing to do with his disappearance?

DK: No.
JM: No.

DK: He was left with a trusted adult and when I come back, my son was gone.

Reporter: Does it worry you with these things that have come out..Klein, and uh, people are gonna stop looking?

JM: Yeah. Um, I feel like that's been the case for months now. I feel like they've already made up their minds, "Oh he is deceased" or whatever they think and people went, "Oh, ok, well whatever. And emmm...

JM: They coulda walked past him

Vernal Is talking over Jessica's statement above so there is simultaneous talking

DK:: They were able to put things to rest that way."

JM: Yeah, and they, they coulda walked past him. Somebody could've easily walked past him at a store.

DK: And thanks to the politics of this, in your mind, you've already put this, he's, you put it behind ya. It's closed in your mind. He's not home. We have no more answers than we did July 10th.

Cut to Jessica, no question asked

JM: If somebody has him I want them to know that we're not going to give up and we'll find him and doesn't matter what you do as a parents, we will find him.

DK: Till the day I die, I, till the day we die, I will, I will find him. I refuse to leave this earth not knowing where he is and what happened at least. At least knowing that he's ok.

*We've been talking tonight and something new came up. Terry owns property right there at PTL, correct? Heather has to know her dad has a place there, right? If Heather was in danger this might be a place she would run to. Why would Terry not want this place searched? Has it ever been looked at? We were told no from what is known on our end. Tammy, Buddy, and Polly opened our home to LE that same day they held me hostage at the ML Brown building. They searched the whole place, took pictures, checked out the freezer, you name it. They even went into the camper and looked around the truck. No search warrant, just trying to help so LE could move forward and do what they needed to do to find Heather. There was nothing to hide, so we thought it'd be okay and that they'd leave us alone once they saw nothing was going on with us. We know now they took that opportunity to screw us over and planned with those photos taken that day where they'd install their "devices" (Yes, we know) at the next search. WARNING: NEVER EVER HELP OUT LE. IT WILL ALWAYS BE USED TO SCREW YOU OVER!
And to the nut jobs that ask why we didn't help search? Are you serious? Think about that question and ask it out loud. Do you hear how crazy that sounds? SMH at the crazy things some people will say and suggest.
Also the current profile picture is not posted to make Heather look bad. It is being used to show all of you that this family is not who they want you to believe they are. This is Heather's Twitter and it is her words. The Twitter may have clues to where she is. Why hide it? People should see the real Heather and not pictures of the woman when she was 12-13 years old. The only real photo I have seen of her during this whole thing is the one driving the truck. That looks like the Heather I knew. And as bad as this may sound I have wondered if it really was a date that night, or was it a trick? I remember seeing screen shots a long time ago between this "date" and another man discussing girls that work in those types of establishments being slutty and degrading them. I can't remember the exact wording but I recall this post and conversation that was sent to me. If anyone has that please post it below. The difference between a date and a trick could mean a lot in this case. Again, I mean no disrespect.

I hope one of the legal experts reading here can help me to understand the restraints placed upon Sidney in relation to his Facebook postings.

Each gag order states:

"The Court finds that it is likely that there will continue to be inquiries made by non trial participants and that any Statements and information responsive to such inquiries are likely to be widely disseminated and could jeopardize the fair administration of justice in these Cases. As such, without some restraint on the trial participants and those involved with the investigation of these cases there is a substantial likelihood that the Defendant may be denied a fair trial."

View the complete text of Sidney Moorer's gag order here (PDF): http://ftpcontent4.worldnow.com/wmbf/pdf/SidneyMoorerGagOrder.pdf

View the complete text of Tammy Moorer's gag order here (PDF): http://ftpcontent4.worldnow.com/wmbf/pdf/TammyMoorerGagOrder.pdf

These gag orders apply to the Solicitor, all law enforcement agencies currently or formally involved in these cases, the defendants, and the counsel for the defendants. The order also applies to any employees of any of these entities.

Any of these entities may still put out a written release about these cases, but the release must be approved by the court first.

In an exclusive interview with Crime Watch Daily, this is the first time that Heather's best friend and roommate Brianna Warrelmann has ever spoken on camera.

"She was like 'Do you see him?' And I was like, 'Who?' 'Sidney.' I was like, 'Who is Sidney?' 'That guy over there, the maintenance guy,' and I was like, 'really?'," said Warrelmann. "And she just sat there and blushed as she talked about him. Even after that day, the day they first started talking, over a series of weeks it was her being like, 'Bri, Sidney did this and we hung out here,' and every time he would come in she would almost run away. 'Sidney's here' kind of thing."

"When the whole thing was found out, it blew up like a bomb almost," said Brianna. "Tammy was livid, texting Heather, sending Heather pictures of her and Sidney having sex. I personally never saw them. I told her I did not want to. Tammy and her phone calls, 'You're going to stop talking to my husband or else.' It wasn't 'or else I am going to do this' -- it was 'Or else!' So it wasn't like Tammy had specifically said a threat, necessarily -- it was, 'Leave my family alone.'"

"Tammy called Heather and said, 'You're going to end it with my husband,' and so she put Sidney on the phone, sat there while Sidney and Heather talked," said Brianna. "They ended things on the phone but Sidney made comments to Heather and said 'You were nothing to me, you were just someone who spread your legs' and basically tore Heather apart as a human being, and who she was as a person and made her feel horrible about herself."

"It was supposed to be the first official date since after her relationship with Sidney had ended," said Brianna. "I asked her what they were going to do and she said, 'Not sure but just excited.'"

"She texted me during the date," said Brianna. "She said, 'My date is teaching me how to drive manual car.'"

"I got a text from her somewhere between 9 and 10," said Terry Elvis, Heather's father. "Was a picture of her driving a truck and it was a stick-shift 'cause she always wanted to learn how to drive it, and she sent me a picture, it says 'Look at me, I'm a pro.'"

"She was crying," said Brianna. "And when I asked her what was wrong, she told me Sidney had called her."

"'He said he left his wife, he missed me and wanted to see me.' I was like, 'Don't ruin it, don't throw away how far you've come in the past month or so for him,'" said Brianna. "She was like, 'I know, it's just so hard. I don't know what to do. I was like, 'How about you sleep on it.' She was like, 'OK, I'm going to play on the computer more and then go to sleep and I will talk to you tomorrow.' We always end our conversation with 'Love you.' So we said 'Love you,' hung up and that was the last time I talked to her."

"Peachtree Landing is literally in the middle of nowhere," said Brianna.

Police Report | Original Heather Elvis missing persons report, Page 1 (unredacted)
Dec 19, 2013
snip
Upon my arrival, I observed a vehicle, that was bearing SC registration CPC254, sitting in the parking lot of the boat landing. Upon running the SC license plate, I responded to entity 1's address (father of the victim), who stated that it was his car and that his daughter drives the vehicle all the time. Entity 1 stated that he last heard from his daughter on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at approximately 2243 hours, via text message. Entity 1 stated that the victim text him a picture of her learning how to drive a manual drive vehicle.

It was learned that the victim was to have a date with entity 2 on the evening of December 17th. Entity 1 spoke to Entity 2, who stated that he picked the victim up at her residence at approximately 1900 hours on that date. Entity 2 stated that they went to dinner, went looking at Christmas lights, and then to the parking lot of Inlet Square Mall, to teach her to drive a manual drive vehicle. Entity 2 stated that he then took the victim back to her residence at approximately 0200-0230 hours, and that she went inside the apartment and that her vehicle was in the driveway.

I escorted Entity 1 to the boat landing, and he opened the vehicle (which is registered to him). I located two receipts inside the front passenger area of the vehicle, that were dated for December 17th. The first was a Kangaroo Express receipt from store # 3221, later learned to be located at 1929 10th Avenue North, that had a time stamp of 1618 hours. The second receipt was from McDonald's, which is located at Towne Center Parkway/ International Drive, that had a time stamp of 1634 hours. I had Horry County Dispatch to check with local hospitals and jails, in hopes of locating the victim. I learned that the victim had been a patient at Conway Hospital on December 17th, she was admitted to the hospital at 1504 hours and was released at 1812 hours. Cpl Furr spoke to an employee at the above mentioned McDonalds, who stated that they do have video surveillance of the drive-thru window that captures a facial picture of every driver that comes through the window, but are unable to retrieve said video tonight. McDonald's stated that a manager will be available at 0700 hours, in the morning, to retrieve said video.

I spoke with Entity 3, victim's roommate, who stated that she last received a phone call from the victim at 0144 hours on December 18th. Entity 3 stated that the victim seemed like she was crying and upset, due to receiving a phone call from Entity 4, whom the victim has previously had a relationship. Entity 3 stated that victim stated that she received a phone call from Entity 4, who told her that he had left his wife and wanted to be with the victim.

Entity 1 stated that he contacted his cellular provider (T-Mobile), who provided him with call history for the victim's phone and he advised me that the last phone calls were at approximately 0600 hours on December 18th and the calls were back and forth between the victim and entity 4.

Cpl Furr spoke with entity 4, via telephone, and stated that he has not seen the victim since October, and then admitted to have spoken to her on the phone last night. Entity 4 stated that he called her to tell her to quit calling him and that was it. Entity 4's statement contradicts what the victim supposedly told Entity 3.

In further conversation with entity 1, he stated that this is not like the victim, to just disappear and not call him or her mother. Entity 1 also stated that he is worried about the victim, due to entity 5, her ex boyfriend from approximately one month ago, due to him possibly being abusive, and supposedly making a statement about "If she hides, he will find her." At time of this report, I have been unable to positively identify entities 2 and 5.

I realize I am serial posting. Please forgive. Sidney's self-victimizing narrative irritates me. Does he think because he deflectively speaks out against Terry Elvis, avoiding his crime against Heather, that he can abuse the constraints of the gag order? The tragedy is a beautiful young lady is dead. Sidney is sitting at a keyboard feeling sorry for himself.

Lynda - thanks for the DeOrr and Jesica transcript. Disappointingly short interview - It's a pity we can't have all the bits they edited-out, too.

The video is on KiFi 8, in case anyone was looking on East Idaho News instead::
http://www.localnews8.com/news/parents-break-silence-deny-involvement-in-son-s-disappearance/38477096

I have had two views of it and so far have noticed the following:

Reporter: You're saying you have nothing to do with his disappearance?

DK: No.
JM: No.

Shouldn't they have answered 'yes' to that? Yes, that's what they are saying - that they have nothing to do with it?

Reporter: Phillip Klein says you confessed to knowing where baby Deorr is, and that you won't go any further than that. Is that true?

JM: Absolutely not. No.

Reporter: So I have to ask you, did you murder your son?

DK: Absolutely not.

JM: No.

I think that is not enough to be a reliable denial? - not three components, but I don't know if how it was posed might affect how they answered. 'Absolutely not' is weakening. What a question, though - 'murder' is so loaded; would they be likely to be thinking of his death in that way, even if they had caused it? - accident or manslaughter might be more how they might look at it, if either had caused his death in any way. (I still think accidental death and cover up).

They use an 'it' (DK) and a 'that' (JM) in relation to an accident.

Also - I noticed repetition here:
DK: People have pretty much laid my son to rest already..
DK:: They were able to put things to rest that way."
DK: And thanks to the politics of this, in your mind, you've already put this, he's, you put it behind ya

It sounds like DeOrr being laid to rest is on His father's mind. I think, in the last sentence above he was going to say 'you've already put this to rest' - he stops himself, and I would bet he stopped himself next saying 'he's already been put to rest' - social media comments about little DeOrr not having a proper resting place are getting to him. No-one has put little DeOrr 'to rest', or 'things' relating to him to rest, so it's an unexpected choice of word when the case is so active and on many people's minds.

Hey Jude...

I noticed the same things you did..Was a very poor interview. Only asked yes or no questions. Agreed that unedited would be most helpful.

The answer "no" instead of yes, which would have been proper.

I also tagged Jessica saying TWICE, "somebody could have walked right by him" Has someone walked right by him? Is he buried or hidden where they have already searched and they walked by him not knowing he was buried there?

They do not mention his name once.

It is all about them again..She can't go to the gas station, she can't go to the store, they're going to hell for what they've done,

Odd choice of words.."Laid to rest" in speaking about his son. This is a phrase used for burial. Someone is "laid to rest"

They both say "NO" there was no accident but then dad has to say...if there was, I don't know about it. Then Jessica chimes up and says the same thing. Why? Are they implying that there was an accident when he was left with the "trusted adult" but they have no knowledge of it? I consider that unexpected that they would add that qualifier instead of just flatly denying there was an accident. They leave the possibility open that there WAS an accident. They just don't know about it.

There is no proof that Heather is a victim of anything. The only known victim is Tammy.Tammy had someone try to destroy her family.

If you read Heathers twitter page you will see that she was the one that went after Sydney M.She did not care who she hurt to get what she wanted.I did read what Tammey called Heather and what Heather did is everything that name means. Sydney told Heather it was over she most likely left town to spite him.She did not count on all the media coverage and now does not know what to do.

I agree--she seems to have no guilty knowledge. But wow, what a trashy lady she is! Just the mere fact of posting all of her trashy business on facebook. And the fact that she has no compassion for Heather being missing. What winners her and her husband are, both cheating and her announcing it on facebook. What a prize her hubby is too! What a disgusting goatee he has. It looks like a broom!

Heather Elvis may have thrown herself at Sydney Moorer, I'm not saying whether she did or she didn't, I wasn't there. I find it hard to believe though, that he didn't make the first move on her.

I can tell you this, and speak with all truthfulness; of the thirteen years I was divorced between the ages of twenty and thirty-three, I had so many married men coming on to me, conning and lying, begging me and practically panting to put the make on me that I lost count. Not once was it ever me going after any of them.

I don't imagine that I was any exception either; I believe that most single/divorced women have to fight these battles against the married men who come after them in any way they can get to them; and believe me, they are many. B'stards.

Geez, I just don't get it how some of you seem to think that Tammy owes Heather all this respect, consideration and compassion. Jeezyl Pete, whether dead or alive, THIS is the other woman who was having sex with her HUSBAND! This other woman was a direct intrusion and conflict to Tammys' marriage, their home life stability AND to their children.
Compassion? You all act like this wife owes Heather something, when it is the other way around IMO.

Simple answer to your questions and many defensive comments that demean the holy AND legal union of matrimony, Maggie & Jen Ow:

BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL LEGALLY MARRIED TO EACH OTHER. THEY ARE A LEGALLY WEDDED COUPLE. She belongs to HIM and he belongs to HER. There has been no divorce.

Then there are the church vows: "Let none put asunder." They shall became as one. In the eyes of God and Divorce Court Laws between a man and a woman, is there really such a thing as an open marriage? I don't think so. Where's it written?

Sydney committed adultery against his wife and against his marriage vows, and Heather was a partaker in adultery with him. Why would Tammy owe either of them any consideration or compassion when they committed adultery against her and the marriage?

No, I would NOT divorce Sydney for cheating with Heather or anyone else. There are three children in this marriage. Why should Tammy and the children pay for what Sydney and Heather did, hurting the kids and breaking up their home forever? I sure wouldn't. I would simply take control of the money, (all of it) keep my family together, clip his wings and move on.

I don't blame Tammy for feeling like she did. Her husband shouldn't of had relations with this woman nor should this woman of had interest in him. Her portrayal as an innocent little girl is BS. She used drugs, pursued married men and who knows what else she got herself into. I know the father knows there's more to this story but keeps accusing the same people. The people who had financial problems were the Elvis family. They have been sued many times for medical debt. Whats up with the fathers criminal record? Sure, take the heat off yourself by blaming others. Someone messed with the wrong kind of people involved in drugs or there is a serial murderer. Everything is speculation and everyone is using emotion to make decisions. Nothing proves guilt thus far and if youre so sure youre right, share FACTS, not speculation. Although, Mr Elvis civil suits as well as criminal behavior is live and well on the Horry County website. Cant deny fact.

To Jen OW and the others who suspect that I am Tammy? OMG! I thought you all could analyze posters better than this miscalculation. I am the Anon who posted those posts showing a little respect for Tammys' marriage vows and her right to disdain the other adulterous woman should she so chose too; and I am NOT Tammy. It is irrelevant to me how Sydney spells his name, whether it is properly spelled Sidney or Sydney. I don't give a hoot.

I don't know the woman Tammy and frankly, don't care too. These people aren't in my league, BUT there is a marriage involved here that IS before the eyes of God, that DOES state, "through sickness and through health, through the good times and the bad times, 'til death do us part". There are three innocent children these two have brought into the world who deserve the protection of their parents no matter WHAT each partner has done outside the marriage.

I don't care if Tammy has made a fool out of herself in speaking out crudely and publically the way she has done, even though I would not have said the things she has said; right or wrongly, it is HER marriage and this is HER husband.

Heather is NOT her husband or 'sister-wife' nor is she in any way related to Heather. Heather is a woman who partook of adultery with Tammys' husband and that is ALL she is to Tammy. She owes Heather no loyalty of any kind whatsoever for the adulterous thing she has done in HER marriage with HER husband. The subject is NOT whether or not Tammy has cheated; the subject is Heather and Tammys' husband and Tammys' marriage, which is still very much in force before the eyes of God and man.

Yes, the subject of divorce did come up by another poster earlier on, ranting about how she would divorce 'Sidney' and that is why I said I would NOT divorce him. Does he beat her and the children and won't work? Is he a drunk blowing the money and they are going hungry? Has he kept them homeless? Does he cavort sexually with other men?

YOU don't realize it, but YOU are the one holding the ace card! YOU are the WIFE. You are so overshadowed by your fleeting 'it hurts me in my gut' pride, that you would destroy your home and your childrens' life for the rest of their lives due to your impulsive 'he-hurt-me' actions?

Some would divorce him for acts of adultery with a woman, when this is so easy to nip in the bud and keep your family together, PLUS wind up with a faithful husband who loves you? Believe me, he would never lie too or cheat on you again once YOU take control of the money and KEEP it. But you would toss everything aside, particularly your innocent CHILDREN, because your husband cheated on you?

Then you have a lose hinge or two; you, who would allow yourself and YOUR children to pay for what THEY did; you, who would put your children through all the suffering of having no father, of him marrying some floozy and watching THEM have a home while THEY have fun visitation rights, and your children has NO home and you struggle financially for the rest of your sorry life while hubby enjoys the good life?

You would allow your children to watch you belly up to the bar with other men and 'sleep-overs' around your innocent children, while you neglect them for your night life and they cry themselves to sleep, and while you eventually marry them a step-daddy who just might abuse them; but YOU would risk all this because of your short-lived shame due to your husband cheating on you with a tramp who has NO rights in your life? No offense meant, but you need your head examined.

I gave my reasons for believing you are Tammy Moorer. You used the personal 'I', and the close 'this' when speaking of whether YOU would divorce Sidney. If you are not Tammy, then you are overly internalizing this topic, and projecting YOUR feelings about marriage and infidelity on a situation where they don't apply. NOBODY involved was honoring the 'sacred bonds of marriage'.

BTW Jen; I saw all the reasons you and a few others gave for believing I am Tammy Moorer. Wrong. That's your blind misconception AND theirs.

How many times do I have to say that some people look to find something wrong that they already believed in the first place, will make false accusations based on their speculations and misconceptions, when they are dead wrong yet keep on digging trying to prove their misconceptions? So there you have it.

I am NOT Tammy Moorer, don't know the woman and don't want too. However, I DO have empathy for others and it is not so difficult for me to put myself in their unfortunate position. Have you ever tried it? Maybe you should.

I see irony is your specialty. Thanks for the laugh!
While we are BTW-ing,

I am confused by your contradiction of your earlier comments.
When Heather and Sidney, two people you don't even know engage in an affair it is wrong, and deserving of no compassion toward either party involved. You repeatedly argued this point.
But, when speaking of your personal experience, it's no biggie. There are far worse things than a fleeting act of adultery. You won't let anyone steal your sunshine?

Two quotes from you:
"BECAUSE THEY ARE STILL LEGALLY MARRIED TO EACH OTHER. Why would Tammy owe either of them any consideration or compassion when they committed adultery against her and the marriage?"

And then:
"It was in my second marriage that I vowed never to allow myself to pay for what someone else did to ME and cause me to destroy my childrens' lives for the QUICKLY FLEETING MISTAKE OF ADULTERY; knowing THERE ARE MUCH WORSE THINGS THAT CAN HAPPEN IN A MARRIAGE THAN ADULTERY."
So, is adultery a horrible thing, leaving the wife in this case justly devoid of any human compassion...OR, not that big of a deal, certainly not the worst thing that can happen in a marriage?
As I said before, your language reveals that you are projecting YOUR personal issues with marriage and fidelity onto this situation.

Two things I saw:
1. "BTW Jen; I saw all the reasons you and a few others gave for believing I AM TAMMY MOORER. Wrong. That's your blind misconception AND theirs."
SCAN sees the imbedded words: "I am Tammy Moorer"
2. "I am NOT Tammy Moorer, don't know the woman and don't want too. However, I DO have empathy for others and it is not so difficult for me to put myself in their unfortunate position."
SCAN sees that there is a dropped pronouns..."don't know the woman" also "don't want to" ....This person has no problem using the word "I" but here she drops the pronoun. This person won't own the words.
Statement analysis is awesome!

Anonymous@8:49 PM - I am following the facts in this case. The facts are what are going to get answers.Defend Mr Elvis all you want, I care less. My concern is with the truth. I am tired of speculation being treated as fact. Mr Moorer could be responsible (I think a statement from his attorney might help the outrage), the violent ex could be considered, the sex offender Heather worked(and texted) with could be responsible or none of the above. I do not condone a man taking law into his own hands and trying to twist everything to suit the fact he hates the Moorer family. I thought Mr Elvis hands were clean when I first started following this. After seeing his actions and friends actions it made me question what was going on. If he indeed had evidence moorer committed a crime, then he needs to make sure the police have the evidence.I don't believe he knows any more than anyone else does about what happened. People insist he does but there is no proof to that affect. Its blind devotion to elvis that I'm seeing from everyone who wont look from every angle. I have proof Mr Elvis is a racist and that he puts on a nice christian face. If he is not ashamed of his pictures (http://s234.photobucket.com/user/elvissigns/media/naganation.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0),
why did he hide them after last night? Every other detail is under scrutiny in this case unless it involves Mr Elvis. I was involved in the search for two missing boys where I live.They were later found thankfully. In both cases, the parents were very very vigilant but did not try to get any suspects killed or put bounties on peoples head who didn't agree with him. That's part of my problem. You may call Mr Elvis actions devotion and love for his daughter but is there something more we don't know? That's all I ask. A good christian man doesn't threaten people nor does he post pictures of our president calling him a "Nagger who stole the white house." You don't have to like the president but he is still our president. If these things weren't true I wouldn't be here complaining. I do have an agenda and its for the truth. I just wish people would look at every possible angle. Hate me, its fine.

hey have released an EXTENDED INTERVIEW with Jessica and Deorr...transcript following..

No question..picks up with Jessica

JM: He's just the happiest kid that you'll ever meet. Always did goofy stuff, the, y'know, if I was upset and he saw that I was upset, or irritated about something, he would walk in, "Mama?" and he'd just give me a look or do something goofy just to make me smile. He ah, always had a car in his hand. Always. It didn't matter where he was going. He was going to the bathroom? It was going with him...

DK: Making car noises as he goes.

JM: Yep.

Reporter: Talk about the search

JM: Personally, I feel like we were up there 1000 more times then the police were. We, we were, there weeks on end. You know, sometimes, or every weekend. We...were....on the ground, like moving stuff around, were, I was on the creek. I was, you know, crawling thru tree trunks that were laid down on the ground like (4 second pause) you go there thinking wh,where could he have wandered, like if he wandered off, where, where would he have gone, where would he have laid down, where, there's a hole there. Could he have fallen into it? YOu know, you start kinda going crazy on did I search right there, did I search right there, and we, as his parents, couldn't leave there thinking, Did we search right there?
And like, we would have to stop and just go and search that section of the area and just say Okay, for our piece of mind, we didn't check it, he's not there. And we did that the minute that the minute we left, we were like, we have to go back. WE, we, can't leave there until we search more. So..it was kind of like, in a way, our second home. All summer. Because that's the last place that we saw him, we didn't want to leave without leaving with him.

Voice of Vernal...No question asked
DK: Alot of searches, alot of good people came and helped. Trespassing? I don't care. It's your land, I'll be respectfulbut I don't care. My son is missing, anything I thought would...didn't get checked enough...or would be tra, double, triple checked and ya know, everybody sits and plays, er, sits and thinks, well they were trying, were they trying to direct anybody from any certain direction? No, pretty any direction we can get anybody in is where we went. And for, we had, law enforcement with us pretty much all the time and it's because they know more a that area than I do. I am, I am not an outdoorsman wer, for, per se. I don't know enough of that so luckily, we always had, I mean I always had a some, some kind of a law enforcement with me. Um, or somebody who knew who, what they,what they were looking at, what they were doing. But the search effort still...to this day haven't found anything. And that's what bothers me so much. It's not wa, one little thing as been found that says my son is still up there. That's why I don't believe my son is up there. You don't just have a 2, almost 3 year old go camping and he doesn't lose a shoe, doesn't behave, things out of his pockets, Nothin'! Nothing.
REporter: That leads me to my next question, the both of you throughout this investigation you've both cooperated with the FBI..

DK: 100% Anything they needed, at their beck and call,I, mmph, I'm a truck driver. I've worked my schedule however they needed it,um, I've done anything and everything they ever needed, and they, they have said that and it's because I have. We have. Anything they needed we've been 100% cooperative because it doesn't do our son any good to not be.

REporter: I mean you've been there alot, you've worked with them alot..

JM: Yeah..um, anytime they would call me, it didn't matter if it was 1/2 an hour before I had to go to work. I called my boss said there is something I have to take care of and went. It didn't matter, you know, my job didn't matter at the time. It's my son, that they have something that they found or they figured out I'm gonna be there. So I've been 100% cooperative with them anytime they've called or needed anything from us, we have cooperated.

Reporter: Despite all the horrible things people are doing and people are saying, how do you guys keep going thru, I mean how , how do you survive?

JM: We still, our, our, son is still missing. I don't care how people feel about me, I don't care what they think happened, he is still missing. And we still have no new information or evidence or anything like that, that shows us anything. So, an, we're not gonna stop searching for him and fighting for him until we know what happened.

Somebody could've easily walked past him at a store or something..

DK: (Interrupts JM) That's a...

JM: and didn't even realize (DK can be heard saying, "Im sorry sweetie) and this is whats so frustrating because, anywhere I go, I go to Walmart, I go anywhere, and I'm, m, looking. I hear little kid voices or anything, I am like crazy mom status. Like, you know, following people around making sure it's not him. Just because I can't give up on him.

lynda said...

Continued....

DK: I don't know what happened to my son other than I left him with a trusted and respected adult, we come back and he's gone a short time later and he's, he's gone. An I, I, I have the last time I hear, I heard my sons voice and seen him, that's where I'm at in my sin?, in my mind. And that mi, memory's getting pretty faded, I'd like some new ones with my son. And I'm going to keep hoping and going on that I'm going to get my new memories and keep my memories going with him. Cuz I want, I have so many things in life I wanna do with my son. Teach him. To show him. And I'm not giving up on that, that I'm going to be able to do that.

Reporter: Both have you have said something pretty strong about all these people that claim to know what happened.

DK: Oh you get it all, we, I'm positive, 100% positive, that we know that you had, you had something to do with it. If yer so damn positive we'd like to talk to ya, and so's the, infes...law enforcement, and FBI then if yer so positive. If you believe in everything you hear on social media, time to do a life change I'd say for you.

Reporter: And so what do you want the public to know?

JM: He's still missing. We can't give up on him. THere's no evidence to say that he is deceased, and if he is, where is he? We still need that. IF that's the case we still need that closure. We still need to know what happened to him. But people need to keep their eyes out cuz you never know. you could walk past him in a store and not even realize it. How will you know if you're not keeping your eyes out?

DK: Just..don't give up the hope. There's just as much as says that he is still with us, that he's, that he is just taken. And i've refused to believe anything other than that. He, he's, he's just an amazing little boy. Please, just keep your eyes out for him. He's, he can't do wrong in either of our eyes, especially me. And I just want him home. And I'm going to continue believing that and hoping that I will get my son back. So just please, throughout all the politics, just remember there is a little boy, my little boy, that is missing. That is...not home. And he could, you could very well, like she, like,like Jessica said, walk right on by him and thanks to the politics of this, in your mind you've already put this, he's, you put it behind you. It's closed in your mind. He's not home. We have no more answers than we did July 10th. So please keep your eyes open still, as much as you, as much as the public may hate us, for something we would never do or even, I would never hurt my son. Would never do anything to my son. Keep your eyes open for him for, just please, keep your eyes open.

Cut/spliced ...do not know question asked.

DK: All, all the time we were seeing on fu, on social media and everything, well, theres, money this, money that, and no. I, I work, everyday. Every day. Um, I just want, it's nice to know that people out there don't , don't think the worst of us and think the best, that are, and do, think like we do. Hopeful. That my son, he's coming home. I, I've still bought him Christmas presents, I still bought him birthday presents, I, there just waiting for him to come home. He still, I buy, when I go grocery shopping, he still gets his, his favorite treat. Everytime. It's, is, things you don't think of. I mean, I walked over to a, a, um, like a taco truck? And picked up a little thing of ke, chicken nuggets. And I ain't thinking about it, Just started walking back with them going, wh what am I doing with these? You do it still. It's, it's normal.

JM: We love you and we will see you and we're not going to give up. WE just hope you're okay.

DK: Daddy loves you son, and I'm not giving up hope.

JM: Exactly. We have no knowledge of that, if there was.

Reporter: You're saying you have nothing to do with his disappearance?

DK: No.
JM: No.

DK: He was left with a trusted adult and when I come back, my son was gone.

At least knowing that he's ok.

stillwaiting, the posts are individually dated and are from January 21, 2014 - February 18, 2014.
An arrest warrant was issued February 24, 2014.

Though I do understand some of the questions and suspicions you and others have of Terry Elvis, I remain confident the Moorers are guilty of killing Heather and disposing of her body.

ima.grandma said...

Yes, stillwaiting, ABB (or whatever name she was using at the time) is in the mix. If you read the originating blog posts, you can see her ramblings all about. I tried to distinguish hers and not list those, but I'm unsure of mistakes. It was difficult process weeding through entire comment pages and then copy/paste with an iPad. Owning possible incorrect assumptions, I believe Tammy was posting here.

I want to tell on myself and then I'm out. I'm grounding myself from posting for 30 days.

Addressing Polo and Stillwaiting's concerns as to the level application of SA to Terry Elvis' writings:

I admit I too was oddly concerned with my perception of subtle bias trending in Peter's analysis of these writings. ~ sorry peter ~ I had some doubts. I'm posting one below together with JerseyJane's response. She offers insight as to how one can be concerned with Terry's words without concluding guilt. I also trusted Peter's confidence shown by his words. I knew he certainly knew more than me.

Statement Analysis is complicated. Don't you just love it?

In Peter's previous post, Kelli Sue and John shared information from the FHE facebook page I find both desperate and threatening. If I take the empathetic and understandable emotion out of the situation regarding the pain felt when someone's family member is feared dead or missing, this is my interpretation of the following statements:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There will be justice, the guilty will suffer for the pain they have caused, if not by the legal system then surely by those who see the facts and are disgusted by the freedom of the guilty.
For those who brought this pain on our family there can be no escape, justice, vengeance, revenge, a reckoning, call it what you like, but know that it is coming for you in one form or another. It is coming sooner than later but it is coming, if not by my hand then by another, if not by law then by the lawless, if not by God then by man.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Terry Elvis' words are an excellent example of one of the deadly sins, Wrath. In this day and age of social influence (i.e. facebook), his expression of emotions could be perceived as a defined strategy to use his wrath as a goal achievement mechanism. Others in a similar emotional state tend to pay more attention to statements that are charged with the same emotion. He is dangerously close to "murderer for hire" through vigilante justice using God's blessing as the reward.

Excellent, Ima.grandmom!! Wrath it is, great observation..

The warning lights were there with a few of us, Maggie, Jen Ow, you, me, etc...with his explosive writings.. The writing where TE was as if he was watching the suspect was my turning point( that's the post that he didn't care of children being added to his cause) and that made me feel his next writing(above)would escalate to a higher level.. You are wonderful for bringing this to a full circle cuz not many could see the "danger" growing within him.. Many were blinded by it as just a father's reacting to his missing daughter. We are NOT siding with the bad guys out there(suspects) when we spoke of how his writings were elevated with a much deeper emotion that could only turn to many more added problems...
Bless you for bringing his writings to full circle, hopefully, his fellow congregation members can step forward to help guide him and watch over him.

Is ABB still posting?

I took a break Thanksgiving to February and I have recently started reading again.

It seems like a number of regular posters are not active anymore. I haven't seen ABB, Juliet, Sus, Ball Bounces, elf or TrustmeIgetit much, if at all.

Did anything happen? I'm sorry if I'm being nosey, it just feels strange that they are not so involved.

You don't just have a 2, almost 3 year old go camping and he doesn't lose a shoe, doesn't behave, things out of his pockets, Nothin'! Nothing.
___________________________________________________________________________________________
"Doesn't behave?" What does that mean? Is that leakage? The phrase doesn't even make sense in this context. Did something happen to Deorr because he wasn't behaving?

I heard my sons voice and seen him, that's where I'm at in my sin?

DK: I don't know what happened to my son other than I left him with a trusted and respected adult, we come back and he's gone a short time later and he's, he's gone.

________________________________________________________________________

The adult is always trusted but when the contradiction takes place, the adult is trusted AND respected.

COntradiction in "When I come back he was gone?

"We come back and he's gone a short time later and he's, he's gone
Stuttering on the "He's" makes sensitive that he is gone.

They came back and he disappears a short time after. After what? After they came back? First statement he was gone when they arrived back, second statement he was gone a short time later? Which is it?

Peter, the case of Michelle Lodzinksi is starting in NJ this week. She has (FINALLY!) been charged with the 1991 murder of her 6-year-old son, Timothy Wiltsey, whom she claimed was kidnapped right before her very eyes from a local carnival. His skull was found the following year behind an industrial park where she used to work.

Anyway, I was reading the FBI file and there was an anonymous letter in there that was sent to the Sayreville Police Department a week after Timothy's remains were found. It appears they were never able to identify the author. I'm including it below to see if you had any insight. It's very short. The Xs I've added are names that the FBI redacted. Typos are exactly as they appear in the letter. I also want to point out that the spelling of "Michele" (the mother's name) in the anonymous letter is incorrect, just in case that held any significance...

"TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN,

In the case of Timothy Wiltsey the man you are looking for is XXXXXXXX who lived at XXXXXXX in XXXXX. He had a grudge against Michele and wanted to get back at her. I know this to be a fact because last February 1991 he wanted me to help him kill Michele or her little boy. His plan was to use a 22 pistol and put her body in a steel drum weighted with rocks and filled with holes and sink in in the Raritan River. I will not under any circumstances come forward voluntary because i have waited too long already.. I don't know if he found someone else to help him or he did this terrible thing himself.But be certain that he did it."

Lynda - that was fast work thank you again. I haven't watched the fuller version yet so will hold off on commenting till I have time to listen, and to go through the rest of the transcript - except to say, whatever happened, my heart went out to DeOrr when he talked about still buying things for little DeOrr. (I stil buy odds and ends for my daughter, in the seventh year since her death. There's nothing rational about it - what it doesn't mean is that I think she will ever have or see those things. It's wishful thinking - it must be a form of self-comfort).

---

Ima.grandma - thirty days is a long time - I managed a few hours, still working towards some time out. (Note to self, dropped pronoun - lack of commitment. Should get act together.).

I don't think the longer posts are well-written enough to have been made by Tammy, though she could have changed her style for the purposes of posting here. I think she is likely to have posted somewhere along the line, though it could be people, or someone, close to her.

---

Jessica - ABB was posting on the last Blackburn thread until a couple of them took off and made a discussin blog of their own for the case, which appears, predictably, to have fizzled out after a couple of posts. That was maybe a couple of weeks ago - though she said she was taking a break and would only post on that thread if anything interesting happened, at least for a while, because she had expended all on her energy on that case. Wry smile, as she made so many posts saying how she refused to watch the videos in case Davey contaminated her precious sanctified soul, and couldn't follow up any of the links unless they were clickable, and even if she could, she probably wouldn't, in case they took her straight to hell. I wish she was a troll, as she would be the best and funniest troll ever. Weird sense of humour going on here, granted. :)

From the get go. I was weary, not just about the Moorers statements. Red flags shining like an xmas tree, and noted by the majority here.

Terry Elvis's statement's, not all, were pointed out. Some, actually, quite a lot, (passivity) were analysing his language. Adhering to SA principles. TE, here, would be up high, on his language alone, flagged!!.

I have looked back at analysis, and me, myself, have questions now, as before.

If statement analysis is to be applied. Then it should be addressed to everyone, be it a suspect, no matter whom. Whether the outcome, if it does, then it is not to what people would like to believe, what happened. Fitting (i never thought i would say this) what analysis...........Scrap that.

Honestly!

You can not cherry pick what is and what isn't in sa. I love sa. Bias, however, in any format, i don't do.

Whats good for the goose, is good for the gander.

Also, the XoJane article - Heather had been missing for only thirty days when he wrote it. He seemed accepting of her likely death, and was already speaking of her in the past tense - thirty days is not long, bearing in mind Heather's age and independence. I'm surprised he wrote like that so early on.

ATTENTION EVERYONE:
Back up your FB accounts immediately and download your FB history activity report. Do this often and keep it on an external hard drive and send one to another location as well. I will further explain below.
Most of you are aware that several hateful FB pages were made to harass my family, little children, open minded journalists, people that wanted to help and report the truth, anyone that spoke out questioning donations and suspicious activity, etc. Many people were called out for speaking up. They had their jobs threatened. They had their photos plastered on hate pages photoshopped with evil captions. They had their news organizations banned from attending press conferences, for reporting with an open mind.
This bullying is what our family was dealing with back in Dec '13, Jan, & Feb '14 and many strangers didn't believe us. Very few (strangers) believed in us and can you blame them when the media was putting out one lie after another? Can you blame them when the police chief stood up in a court of law and lied? Can you blame someone for believing a trusted solicitor when she makes up stories about money, traveling, fabricated DNA evidence, etc? We are supposed to believe in these people. They are supposed to tell you the truth, but in this case they did not. We understand why you all fell for it and we don't hold that against you. You were tricked. You were lied to. We forgive you. Those that knew us did know better. They spoke out until this group of terrorists started making their lives hell. I then asked them to be quiet and let it go, that in God's timing it would all work out and the truth would be exposed. Now is the time we need all of you to speak up and to speak out. We need your help to stop this. We need your help to help find out what is going on within Horry County. We need you to demand your questions be answered. How did they hold an innocent couple in jail for 11 months without any evidence? I REALLY WANT THE ANSWER TO THIS ONE, BECAUSE THE CONSTITUTION I ABIDE IN SAYS IT WAS ILLEGAL. How can they pick and choose charges to place on people without any evidence at all? How can they charge anyone with murder and kidnapping when there's no sign of a crime taking place? How? Why? They are corrupt, that's why! They think they can screw over anyone and get away with it. This could have happened to your mother, your brother, your sister, your children, and it can happen to YOU if changes are not made. Look what Donna caused to happen to the Hell's Angels. She destroyed their families as she did ours. Why is she not rotting away in jail? Why is it okay to be protected because of a job title when you destroy people and end their lives? Maybe not per death, but my life is over. Our lives are destroyed forever. I will never be the same person again. Why? I have the same questions many of you have and there have been no answers given this far. What they did to us is unforgivable and it's not repairable. Spending 11 months inside J Reuben Long makes you very aware of the problems in Horry County. I'm not the only one and you could be next!

They arrested us to solve a case, not to solve the case then make an arrest. Had we'd been guilty this may have worked, but when people are innocent this doesn't work out in your favor. All those lies, all those mistakes, all that damage you have caused has to be answered to. I mentioned before and still believe it to be true that the officials involved hoped that we'd be murdered and it would make their jobs a lot easier. The police did nothing about the harassment that went on, they did nothing about Terry stalking us in his brother's black "blob" Ford F 150, they ignored our cries for help and never looked anywhere else. They refused and still refuse to give us a protection order from this evil person. Did any of you see the posters they put up of my deceased father in law? The police were asked to remove fingerprints from the posters. (ALL OF THE CRIMINALS INVOLVED IN HANGING/MAKING THEM HAVE FINGERPRINTS ON FILE) but they refused. They had eyewitnesses that were willing to testify to who posted them. The police did not care. They sent the "issue" to zoning and planning. Had someone made a poster like this of a child molester that molested a 4 year old within his home all hell would have broken loose, but since this was hate directed towards my family it was "okay". It's okay to post about molesting and kidnapping my 13 year old daughter. It's okay to post penis's on little boys' faces'. It's okay to do any damn thing you please, IF YOUR SURNAME IS ELVIS. Well, here is your chance to do something about it since local authorities refuse.

Quoting DeOrr, Sr.:
"He still, I buy, when I go grocery shopping, he still gets his, his favorite treat. Everytime."
~~~~
I don't know how to articulate this, but his description of little DeOrr "getting his favorite treat. Every time" says he is 100 percent sure his son is dead.
He says it exactly the way people describe setting a place for a long deceased loved one, or leaving a room intact, or a beloved deceased pet's bowls and toys.
Could the word that sounds like "sin" possibly be "sen" - asking where was he in his sentence before his foggy mind again rambled off-course, then editing his edit?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I listened numerous times..."sin" is what it sounds like to me. The sentence is...
" An I, I, I have the last time I hear, I heard my sons voice and seen him, that's where I'm at in my sin?, in my mind"
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
First we have stuttering on the pronoun "I". 3 times. The following words after the stutter are EXTREMELY sensitive to him. Someone also pointed out the word can be "as in" which is highly possible also. Either way, we still have the I,I,I to deal with first
I catch myself saying "they" (instead of "we") when speaking as a representative of the government-service agency I've worked for, for many years. People call us, in desperate need of housing assistance, and I say "They aren't taking applications - - they are working through a very long waiting list. They are predicting it will be several years before new applications will be accepted." Everything I tell the callers is true, but I just can't get myself to take ownership of the bad news I have to give them.
Few government workers seem to openly disagree with policy and those that do are often shamed into silence.
The distancing of "they" makes perfect sense here. It is 'appropriate distancing language' rather than saying "we have no openings right now..."
It is an emotional distancing and could be related to, as stated, disappointment in not giving out good news, or it could also be a creeping sense of entitled callers, or anything in between.
I know state workers who feel that no one is lazier than state workers as they watch 'safe promotions'; that is, promotions going to those who lack the skill set to pose a threat to the manager who promoted them.
Then why is Sidney so righteously indignant that they were framed and that the case was mishandled? Recently I've done a lot of reading/watching interviews regarding the OJ Simpson case,a case with some similar parallels regarding circumstantial evidence(although in the OJ case, the evidence was far more comprehensive, however they do have reasonable amounts of circumstantial evidence in Heather's case). OJ it seems came to believe he was innocent and latched onto his lawyers claims that evidence had been planted, as well as degrading the victims, however, when you hear him talk in interviews he is elusive when questioned, he attempts to be "charming" in his responses giving elusive answers while seeming certain of his innocence, I don't see the righteous indignation that we would see in those who are falsely accused. With Sidney, we don't see elusiveness, we see someone who is listing off reason after reason to attempt to support his claim he was falsely accused and arrested. We see momentum in his statements (this was done wrong, this was done wrong, this was done wrong) that reflect someone who genuinely believes they are innocent .My impression from what I know of statement analysis is that he at least believes that he and Tammy are innocent. I am hard-pressed to think of another case where the accused was as righteously indignant going on and on attempting to back up their claim with evidence. Again, I am asking because I can't think of another instance of this. Can anyone site one?
Anonymous said...
Dr. Geoffrey MacDonald, Michael Petersen -the stair case killer, Jon andPatsy Ramsey, ...the list goes on. I think it's a standard MO, to profess your innocence, when you are, in fact, guilty, especially if you have supporters (who are convinced of your innocence) and a good lawyer who will latch onto any discrepancy in your case to "prove" that you are not guilty.
Anonymous said...
Lynda,
Thank you for transcribing DK and JMs interview.
I thought I heard JM say " it doesn't matter what you do to his appearance". ...but you have "doesn't matter what you do as a parents".
The "sin" thing is interesting. I think he was saying, or starting to say "in my s[elf]... But changed it to "in my mind" so it sounds like "in my s......in my mind."
Either way, you deserve a medal for transcribing.
PS. IIRC Last year you suggested little DeOrr might have been murdered for life insurance, a la DiPietreo. Did you ever find out if there was a life insurance policy on little DeOrr?
Anonymous said...
I have looked at the Jon Benet case closely, and with all due respect, they (the parents) do not have the same level of indignation as we're seeing with Sidney. It is a good comparison, as they do accuse the public, police, etc of persecuting them but it more along the lines of poor us everyone just assumes it's the parents. We're seeing something much different from Sidney. Im also not seeing leakage from his speech concerning manner of killing or where body is hidden. Take, for example, the DeOrr case, we saw that right away from the father.
Anonymous said...
Bear in mind that social media was not available to the Ramsey's. If it had been, my guess is that you would see the same level of indignation from Patsy as you do from Sidney. As it was, the Ramsey's used the media as much as possible to defend themselves.
The claims that her father and unborn baby died as a result of the stress of this case, and that their lives are ruined, screams " poor me". I for one,don't believe Tammy was pregnant at all. It was a bid for sympathy. She would not allow herself to be examined or tested by a doctor, IIRC.
Anonymous said...
That is an interesting point about social media not having been available to the Ramsey's. Sidney is making a lot of noise though for someone for whom charges have been dropped. Usually you will see an attempt to fly below the radar (linguistically) if you look at OJ interviewed after he was let off you see mostly the charm offensive, some tamed down degradation of victims and those who testified, and a smug but not indignant theme of having been wronged. Sidney's making a lot of noise.
I agree with you there is the "poor me" theme with Sidney with the "torture" in jail, supposed miscarriage, etc.
My feeling is that Tammy and Sidney were up to no good the night she disappeared. I feel that may not be the whole story of what happened. I need to look at his language in this latest rant more closely.
Anonymous said...
One thing that is notable is how Sidney is saying that Terry is responsible for Heather's disappearance (and do you notice he put "disappearance" in quotation marks? This lends some credence to what he is saying...we see that all the time where we here at SA who are innocent are trying to figure out whether the missing have been murdered and the implication of using quotes around "disappeared" is we strongly suspect they were murdered...but Sidney also suggests her terrible homelife may have caused her to run away, etc. His language to me shows genuine confusion about what exactly happened but feeling that Terry is somehow at the root of it.
