Miguel: Omar Mateen Gay Lover Claim Denied By FBI

The quotes are few.  Note, the FBI has announced that they have found no evidence of Mateen being gay, including no photographs, no text messages, no computer links, no apps, no accessing of gay dating sites, according to the LA Times.
ORLANDO -- A man who says he was Orlando shooter Omar Mateen's gay lover is speaking out following the attack on Pulse nightclub that left 49 people dead, and dozens more injured.
In an interview with Univision anchor Maria Elena Salinas, the man -- who was called "Miguel" to protect his identity -- said he first met Mateen on the gay dating app Grindr.

Univision reported the FBI told the network that investigators have spoken with this man, but a law enforcement official would neither confirm nor deny this to CBS News.

The official told CBS News senior investigative producer Pat Milton that Mateen was a frequent user of online dating sites seeking relationships with both men and women.
Men and women have come forward to the FBI claiming to have had a relationship with Mateen, according to the law enforcement official, and all of those claims are being investigated.

Miguel said in an interview with Univision that Mateen, who was killed by police during the rampage on the Pulse nightclub early on June 12, was gay. He described his relationship with Mateen as "friends with benefits."

He said the sexual relationship lasted about two months, and they met at a hotel in Orlando between 15 and 20 times.

Miguel told Univison that he believes Mateen intentionally targeted Latinos in retribution for feeling rejected by Puerto Ricans.

"I believe this is not terrorism," Miguel said, despite investigators saying Mateen called 911 and posted to Facebook to pledge allegiance to ISIS during the rampage.

Rather, Miguel claimed Mateen was acting on revenge after being with a Puerto Rican man whom he later learned was HIV positive.

"He hate gay Puerto Ricans for all the stuff he did to him," Miguel said. "I believe this crazy horrible thing he did was for revenge."

Miguel said that Mateen's wife knew he was gay, and that his father forced him into an arranged marriage.

Miguel added that he and Mateen also talked about religion.

"He said Muslim religion is beautiful, beautiful religion, where everything is about love," he said. "Everybody is welcome. Gay, trans, bisexual... everybody."

Miguel said that Mateen never appeared to be violent and had a "threesome" with someone infected with HIV.

"He was looking for love," Miguel said. "He was looking to be embraced."

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said that we are to fight terror with love.

The FBI said he had "cased" the club, while former senior FBI profiler Mary Ellen O'Toole told CBS News that doesn't seem likely.

"This to me suggests somebody that may have had sexual identity issues and may have actually been struggling with the idea that he himself was gay and that would add a different motive and a different perspective on the case," O'Toole said.

Immediately following the death of Yasser Arafat news reports claimed he was gay.

HEATHER ELVIS CASE: SIDNEY MOORER KIDNAPPING TRIAL JURY DEADLOCKED; JUDGE DECLARES MISTRIAL

http://crimewatchdaily.com/2016/06/23/heather-elvis-case-sidney-moorer-kidnapping-trial-underway/

GeekRad said...

Thanks John. It is refreshing to see that at least some of the jurors had the intestinal fortitude to not give in.

Give in to what? Sidney I s guilty of kidnapping. Did you see the trial? Circumstantial evidence piled up high. I would have voted guilty.

Just like with Davey, too many coincikydinks.

Oh no, Siney and Tammy have both deleted their fb accts. Ironically this morning, her post was about the little boy who was killed by an alligator. I think poor Heather will forever be missing because of alligators.

Anon, What I mean is some of the jurors held out with a guilty verdict and didn't give in to a not guilty verdict. It resulted in a mistrial, there will be retrial so there is a chance another jury may find him guilty. It is refreshing because it means some of the jurors actually listened to the evidence.

oh, how funny of me to totally misread your words on statement analyst blog. 😘

I would have worded it...at least most...

Don't get offended, I'm not picking on you, just explaining why I thought you meant the opposite of what you wrote.

Also, I came her to see if anyone wanted to talk about that trial. Anyone see any problems with the pros? With defense? How about the judge? I have a problem with him and how disrespectful he was of the female prosecutor.

Is it true that the defense atty had a friend on the jury?

I originally posted this in the Davey Blackburn thread, but it got lost in the shuffle amongst all the posts. I'm curious to know how others discern these messages, because they terrify me and I can't figure them out.

*OT*

Has anyone taken a look at the creepy youtube videos of the suspect in Maura Murray's disappearance? His name is Alden Olson, and he posted 3 videos in the last few years that youtube quickly pulled down, but luckily, a journalist named James Renner who has been researching the case saved the videos and reuploaded them.

In one video that Olson posted on the eighth anniversary of Maura Murray's disappearance, he's seen laughing at the camera for about a minute straight, then ends it by posting, "Happy Anniversary."

In another video, he's shown in his basement playing on a keyboard, and has a table next to him with specific items showcased on it, presumably to have belonged to Maura Murray, or at least he wants people to think they're her belongings. At the end of the video he posts a face that has a map on it, which has proven to be a map of a lodge that's close to the area where Maura Murray disappeared. It even has an arrow that a few people have pinpointed to an exact location within the lodge.

In his last video, he's dressed up in a construction worker costume, talking to the camera about what appear to be random things, like silly putty, but I think he's wanting people to read between the lines and figure out what he's really trying to say. He ends the video by saying, "Drive safe." Maura Murray's car was found abandoned and with a messed up front end, having been in some sort of car accident or altercation with another person driving a vehicle.

They don't have a ton of evidence. That being said so many coincidences put together are no longer coincidental. they have enough evidence to show she met him and was never seen or heard from again. She wasn't in the water or the general vicinity so one can draw the conclusion that she was in that truck as it drove out. He did nothing but lie. He hadn't spoken to her, never called her, and yet he did. I wanna know how there is like zero evidence though. It was obviously planned and they aren't that wise. why would they ever bring those kids into that courtroom. I hope they retry it. If one is convicted maybe they will start talking.

For some reason, the youtube links that I posted aren't working. However, James Renner has them posted on his youtube account. The titles of the videos are Happy Anniversary, Man Loses It, and No Hope For Mental Wannabe.

I thought they had enough evidence to prove she did meet him. Or he and Tammy. I think a body could be carted off by many different animals and scattered and then decompose quickly. It's more like a jungle. I have been kayaking in many waterways along the coast of SC. I may have even been to this one,,they are all wild and mostly deserted. If you don't hunt down these small landings, then you could never find them. You have to assume alligators are in the water, and you will always see at least one.

Not to mention the Carilona Red wolf that inhabits that specific area. They even have a sanctuary for them where you can see them up close and they are really big. Not a cute little red fox, which are there, too.

I honestly think it was planned mostly by Tammy. He lured her out saying they were getting back together. Probably got her in the truck and said he had a hotel/motel room and they were headed there. She may or may not have been hiding in the back seat or he stopped somewhere. Idk what happened after he got her in the car but I do think they proved she met him and disappeared forever. She was probably pregnant. If they worked at the same place and many people knew they were seeing each other it wouldn't be hard to it to get back to him. What I wonder though is what is it about Tammy that makes Sidney do all this. She looks 20 years older than she is, doesn't seem to have a good personality, is controlling, dangerous really.... Does she have something on him that makes him loyal? Who puts up with abuse. I think she made him lure her out so he could be around his kids. Maybe she heard he talked about leaving her and taking them. But why remain loyal now unless they are both involved and both going down. I hope she is eventually found. That being said they seem to be good at disappearing things. No proof of her in his truck.... How did they successfully do this. And on a side note weren't they on welfare? Buying trucks and vacationing at Disney??? Where did this money come from? I can barely afford Disney!

I thin Tammy orchestrated the kidnapping and Sidney just did what she wanted. He def was in on it. He's the one who called. I can't imagine how they could have disposed of Heather's body. I think they left her body close by the landing. If Heather was in the truck, there would be some evidence Maybe they went there weeks ago and dug a hole just off in the woods, in the marsh.

Unless I'm not remembering correctly, the videos and that freak were vetted and found to have nothing to do with Maura. Maura's father is relentless in his search for what happened to Maura. I would think if this guy was for real, her father would have tortured him for answers by now (I'm not being facetious either about her dad, have you ever seen interviews with him?)No judgement, I would most likely do the same thing if it was my daughter.

On the original topic:

I was hoping you would cover this, Peter. To me, the thing that stuck out was the use of "I believe" multiple times, which you have emphasised leaves plenty of room for others to believe or even know differently. I was waiting for something like this account from a supposed gay lover to break.

Anon 5:41 and 5:45. No offense taken. Apparently my post was not clear and now we are. All good.

Anon 5;41 and 5:45. It is not the opposite of what I wrote. It is your misunderstanding of what I wrote. I think we get it so ok. We are on the same page.

OT- I think everyone will find this very interesting. A group of young adults went "hiking" in the woods, one friend turned back and is now missing. This story has quotes from one of the friends. He doesnt talk about his missing friend in past tense but what he does say makes me very worried!

It's interesting how fast the media dropped the gay angle on the terrorist. It's scary how fast and how obvious the govt and media are being about trying to change the story into something else.
It was terrorism, he called 911 and pledged his allegiance to Allah and ISIS. It's scary that anyone would say, "Wait, we dont know what his motive was!!" when he plainly stated what his motive was.

.."And they exchanged Truth for a lie"

Quote from article "ONE of their friends was waiting behind in the truck, but Fagan had never returned.
"We asked him if he's seen Fagan and he goes 'no, WE thought he was with you.'

...... So if there was ONE of their friends waiting in the truck.... who were "WE" who thought Fagan was with the group???

@Becky Rose, I love your name, my daughter is Megan Rose...anyhow, I feel the guy you posted was trying way to hard to be considered mental...you are probably to young to recall...but in the 1970's and early 1980's a show called M*A*S*H... they had a guy named Klingor and after watching those videos, that is whom I thought of.

Anonymous said...

@Kathead, they are trying to prepare the US, and us, for globalism and to ditch the constitution.... they think people will be so outraged that they can implement a total ban on our constitution, or make us feel so bad, that you will WANT to give up our rights.

Who is 'they'?

Unknown said...

Lynda, you're right about Maura Murray's father, he is steadfast and determined, which is understandable. I feel better now that you've added your logical 2 cents, because I was terrified after watching those videos. I've seen too many scary movies, I think. :p

Anonymous, thank you for your compliment. :) I adore the name Megan Rose! It's modern, yet sweetly feminine.

As for the show MASH, I barely remember the reruns (I'm 34), but I'll check it out to see Klingor. Maybe that's who Olson emulated on purpose, or maybe he's just one of those people who is so afraid of others that he scares people so they will stay away from him.

I just can't wrap my head around why someone would want to torment a victim's family. It's a rotten thing to do.
