Shaan Farooqi: Kidnapping Statement Examined

Three men in masks leapt out, grabbed the victim, who was walking home, and threw him in the back of the van.

The NY Daily News reported exclusively:  Three masked men snatched a Queens college student off the street, threw him into a van, and robbed and threatened to kill him as they showered him with racial epithets, police said Friday.

A black van rolled up to 21-year-old Shaan Farooqi, a City Tech student of Pakistani descent, on 165th St. and 81st Ave. in Hillcrest about 4:35 p.m. Thursday, police said.

Three men in masks allegedly jumped out, grabbed Farooqi, who was walking home, and threw him in the back of the van.

This is a traumatic event and we expect him to state what happened:

First I was confused because a black van came and cut me off right in the middle of the street, but when three men came out I got really scared. I’m like OK, what’s happening here because this is a pretty good neighborhood. I’ve been living here my whole life and nothing really happens here.  I just got really scared and frightened,”

Here the subject does not tell us so much of what happened, but of his feelings.  The element within his feelings is timing.

He begins with "First" which tells us that we should expect logic to continue with secondary events.

Note he feels the need to explain why he felt "confused" here.  This makes his feeling of confusion very sensitive.
Next, he tells us that the priority is not "three men" kidnapping him, but the timing of his feelings:

"but when three men came out..."

This is to slow down the pace of the statement and not get to the actual kidnapping.

Please note that in fabricated realities where a subject is lying and must choose a number between 2 and 9, liars often gravitate to 3.  "Three boats chased me" from Texas' Falcon Lake deceptive murder account by Tiffany Hartley.

Note also:     "Three men" tied up Charlie Rogers in her fake hate account.

He does not say three men came out.  He says "when", which is to divert attention from the kidnappers to the timing of his emotion.

In traumatic events, emotions take time to process.  This is why we look for the location of emotions within a statement.  When they appear right at the perfect place, it is often an indicator of artificial placement.

In truthful accounts, unless a long period of time has passed, the emotions show up well after the account of what happened.

I’m like OK, what’s happening here because this is a pretty good neighborhood. I’ve been living here my whole life and nothing really happens here.  I just got really scared and frightened,”

"I'm like OK" is the language of narrative building, or as police say, "story telling."  The word "OK" indicates acceptance, which is contrary to violent trauma or surprise as this context is alleging.

It is not "OK" to have "three men come out" at a subject.  This is consistent with either fabrication or the possibility of knowing at least one of the persons involved.  It is to find "agreement" within trauma.

"I've been living here my whole life" is commentary within the statement about three men.  This is also indicative of narrative or story telling language.

It is something that might enter the language decades after such a shocking event but not here.

They told Farooqi they were on a mission to “intercept” him as they punched him and snatched his wallet — which contained just $6 — along with his ID, cops said.

“Get out of my country, you sand nigger, or I’ll kill you and your family,” one of his attackers said, according to police.

The attacker was not acting in unison with the other two, according to this, otherwise, "get out of our country" and "we'll kill you" is expected.

The trio dragged Farooqi out of the opposite side of the van, dropped him in the middle of the street and sped off.
He was not seriously injured.

“I’ve never been targeted,” the entertainment technology student said.

What would produce such a statement?  Does the subject feel alone and unnoticed in life?  This is also to avoid saying that he has never been "attacked" or "kidnapped" before.  This does not fit the language but suggests something else.

“I am just a regular guy. I have no friends. Nobody knows of my political views. I stay to myself.”

This gives us further insight into his personality and priority.  Those who call themselves "just" (comparison) a "regular" guy indicate their personal belief of something to the contrary.

It is similar to when one says, "I am a normal male."  The word "normal" is used by a subject who has been considered, by himself and/or others, to be not normal.

Our subject is "just" (dependent word) a "regular guy" suggests that he may have another thought in mind about himself.

The subject may be seeking for some recognition and relevancy in the world of "entertainment."

Analysis Conclusion:

Although there is not much to go by in direct quotes, what we do have raises suspicion of not only a "fake hate" claim, which is very popular today, but that the subject may be seeking to divert something away from his "regular" activities.

He gives indicators of sensitivity and his choice of 3 attackers is noted.

His placement of emotion appears to be artificial editing.

There are strong reasons to doubt his account.  For a complete conclusion we need more of his statement, but suffice for now, the priority of his statement rests with him, his feelings and the need of some form of diversion.

It sounds almost like a cry for help. Perhaps he Needs to be intercepted before he acts out further.

Off topic for Peter. Davey Blackburn has a book coming out in November about his wife being murdered. It's called "Nothing is Wasted."

A Queens college student who told cops he was thrown into a van and robbed by three masked men yelling racial slurs made up the chilling attack, police said Saturday.

Shaan Farooqi, a 21-year-old City Tech student of Pakistani descent, was fibbing when he said he was abducted on 165th St. and 81st Ave. in Hillcrest about 4:35 p.m. Thursday, according to police.

He claimed three men in masks jumped out of a black van, grabbed him, tossed him inside and snatched his wallet.

Farooqi told police his attackers screamed “Get out of my country, you sand n----r, or I’ll kill you and your family,” before letting him go.

Police declined to provide details about why Farooqi lied, but said he recanted his entire story. No word on whether not he will be charged with false reporting.

OT Update:

Family of Ayla Reynolds has September hearing for death declaration

More than five years after the girl's disappearance from her Waterville home, her maternal family is also considering filing a wrongful-death lawsuit against her father.

Ayla Reynolds’ mother is requesting a probate court hearing for formally declaring her daughter dead more than five years after the toddler’s disappearance from her Waterville home triggered the largest police investigation in state history and drew national attention.

Trista Reynolds and her family have said that a court ruling declaring Ayla dead is necessary to “preserve the rights of Ayla’s estate” to bring a lawsuit. The probate court hearing is set for Sept. 21.

Trista Reynolds has commented for stories about her daughter in the past, but in a brief phone interview Tuesday afternoon she directed questions to her family’s attorney, William Childs.

In a phone interview, Childs said there are a “couple of things I’ve got to get squared away” before doing a news conference or interviews. He plans to make an announcement about the case in roughly two weeks.

AYLA PRESUMED DEAD BY JUDGE

On May 17, Cumberland County Probate Judge Joseph Mazziotti named Trista Reynolds the personal representative of Ayla’s estate. Mazziotti’s order, which states Ayla “is dead,” led some Maine news outlets to erroneously report Tuesday that the court had declared the child dead.

But for Mazziotti to appoint Trista Reynolds as the estate representative, he had to determine that Ayla was presumed dead. Under Maine law, someone who has been missing for five years or more is presumed dead, said Kelly Bunch, Cumberland County deputy register of probate.

In a petition filed May 24 in Cumberland County Probate Court, Childs noted that the court had appointed Trista Reynolds as a personal representative of Ayla’s estate. The petition says no death certificate has been issued yet and requests that a court hearing be scheduled to consider a formal declaration of Ayla’s death.

...Jeff Hanson, Ayla’s step-grandfather, said last year that the Reynolds family planned to pursue a civil lawsuit against Ayla’s father, Justin DiPietro, that possibly would include allegations of child endangerment and wrongful death. He called the declaration of Ayla’s death “the first step to hold those accountable for baby Ayla’s demise.”

Mazziotti’s May 17 order lists DiPietro’s current address as Winnetka, California.

Ayla was 20 months old when she was reported missing from her grandmother’s house at 29 Violette Ave. in Waterville on Dec. 17, 2011. She was staying there with DiPietro, his then-girlfriend, Courtney Roberts, and his sister, Elisha DiPietro.

Police don’t believe she is alive and have said they think foul play was involved in her disappearance, but there have never been any charges in the case.

The statute of limitations for filing a wrongful death lawsuit is six years after the five-year anniversary of when a person is reported missing, which in this case would be in December 2022.

A hearing before a probate judge to determine if a person is legally dead is usually a short proceeding that involves the personal representative telling the judge the last time he or she saw the missing person and producing affidavits, newspaper stories and other information about the case, said Jim Burke, a criminal lawyer and clinical professor at the University of Maine School of Law. Burke has no inside knowledge of Ayla’s case and wouldn’t comment on specifics.

A wrongful death lawsuit is a civil lawsuit in which a plaintiff tries to prove someone caused another’s death. The plaintiff’s lawyer is entitled to get discovery from the other side and can ask the defendant questions under the rules of civil discovery, Burke said.

“He can choose not to answer, and if he does that they can’t compel him to answer, but they’d probably ask the court to draw a negative inference,” Burke said.

DISAPPEARANCE STILL INVESTIGATED

In a civil case, if the defendant is found liable for wrongfully causing the death of another, the punishment is monetary damage, Burke said, and there are rules for how pain and suffering and other damages are calculated.

“The plaintiff’s lawyer will try to get the highest figure they can, and the defendant will try to get zero,” said Burke, who has been a criminal lawyer for 41 years and a law professor for 15.

Steve McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, said Tuesday that the investigation into Ayla’s disappearance is still “open and active.” He said any announcement from a probate court would not affect the police investigation.

McCausland noted that two weeks after the toddler’s disappearance, state police announced they no longer thought Ayla was alive.

Justin DiPietro has maintained that someone must have abducted Ayla from the home, and Elisha DiPietro said last year in an interview with the television show “Crime Watch Daily” that the DiPietro family believes Ayla “is out there somewhere.”

But investigators with the Maine State Police have said it is highly unlikely that Ayla left the house on her own or that she was abducted during the night. McCausland has said the possibility that someone slipped into the house and took Ayla “doesn’t pass the straight-face test.”

Police also have said that the people who were in the house the night Ayla disappeared have withheld information from investigators that is relevant to the case.

Ayla’s blood was found at the Violette Avenue home, police said, a fact that her maternal family often has pointed to when urging authorities to bring criminal charges against Justin DiPietro.

State police Lt. Jeff Love, who has worked on the case since its inception, has said that police have received more than 1,500 leads, including 40 last year.

Kathy Griffin Says Donald Trump Beheading Photo ‘Crossed The Line’

‘I moved the line, then I crossed it. I went way too far.’

Kathy Griffin has issued an apology, after posing for a photo-shoot with what appeared to be a decapitated Donald Trump.

The American comedian - who proudly boasts of having never apologised for any of the content in her act - found herself at the centre of a controversy on Tuesday night (30 May), when pictures circulated online of her holding a replica of the POTUS’s bloody head (as seen in the video above).

At the time, she commented on Instagram: “I caption this ‘there was blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his…wherever’.”

She was also quick to point out that she did not “condone ANY violence by my fans or others to anyone, ever!”, adding: “I’m merely mocking the Mocker in Chief.”

However, the picture - shot by photographer Tyler Shields - was lambasted on social media, including by the President’s son, Donald Trump Jr who branded it “disgusting but not surprising” and typical of “the left”, claiming: “They consider this acceptable.”

Following the controversy, Kathy has now taken down the snap, and posted an apology video on her Instagram page in its place, claiming she feels like she went “too far” with the photos.

In the short clip, she tells her followers: “I sincerely apologise. I’m just now seeing the reaction [to] these images.

“I’m a comic, I crossed the line. I moved the line, then I crossed it. I went way too far. The image too disturbing, I understand how it offends people, it wasn’t funny I get it.

“I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my career, and I’ll continue to do so, I asked your forgiveness. I’m taking down the image, gonna ask the photographer to take down the image and I beg for your forgiveness.

“I went too far, and I was wrong.”

CNN, who has had Kathy front their New Year’s Eve coverage with Anderson Cooper for the past nine years, has also issued a statement, insisting: “We found what she did disgusting and offensive. We are pleased to see she has apologised and asked that the photos be taken down.

“We are evaluating New Year’s Eve and have made no decisions at this point.”

A vocal supporter of the Democrats, Kathy has never shied away from commenting on political matters in her stand-up routine, but has long boasted of having a “no apology” policy when it comes to her comedy

Kathy Griffin Says Donald Trump Beheading Photo ‘Crossed The Line’

She didn't apologize. She didn't apologize personally to President Trump or his family (especially his 11-year-old son who thought it was real). She apologized for the negative reaction she got (her words). In the "behind the scenes" video she knew full well the gravity of what she was doing and was bragging about it, especially in her first tweet about the blood etc. Only after the swift negative reaction did she issue her faux apology.

What's really disgusting is the double standard by the liberal left. A rodeo clown was banned for life after wearing an Obama mask. Their reaction to Kathy Griffin is "nothing to see her, let's move on, there's more important things to discuss". CNN is evaluating their contract with her for New Year's Eve. If this was a conservative comedian doing the same to Obama or Hillary or any democrat, they would be fired immediately, hounded out of the industry and under criminal investigation.

Kathy Griffin has proven there is no bottom to the depth of their depravity. To mock beheading victims and call it art is beyond disgusting.

@1:34,

That's bc liberals love violence, death and gore. It makes them feel better about the sh&t they support. Also, they are spiritually on the "dark side" so naturally they are going to gravitate towards gore & violence despite whatever charm offensive they put forth that they are so "loving and tolerant and peaceful". Ted Bundy was similar in that regard.

Anonymous said...

Oh really Linda? Do you see any conservatives holding up decapitated heads like Kathy Griffin did?
You don't believe most liberals are spiritually "on the dark side"? Talk to them, get to know them. You think these people can advocate some of the things they do & not like gore & violence? Keep telling yourself that. And yes, some conservatives are scumbags, but with liberals you find a constellation of similar mental problems combined with viciousness & scapegoating. They absolutely do like gore, violence & death, and their "we are so loving & accepting" personna is nothing more than a charm offensive.
Who in their right mind holds up a severed head (so deeply grotesque)? Answer: A liberal.
Many liberals basically are Satanists is you just listen to them.

Also, I bet those 2 guys that sacrificed their lives protecting those Muslim women were conservative. Liberals sure showed a lot of respect for that sacrifice cheering on Kathy Griffin for her ISIS imitation of a beheading.
