Aurélie Wynn: Second Alleged Victim Alleges Rape by Ed Westwick

A second woman, Aurélie Wynn has come forward to assert that she was raped by Ed Westwick, after Kristina Cohen made the allegation.

Kristina Cohen's statement is analyzed with the result found here.

Here is analysis of this second claim by former actress Aurelie Wynn

I.  The Statement
II.  The Statement With Analysis
III. Analysis Conclusion

I.  August 2014, I went through a very similar ordeal with Ed Westwick, I was ubered by Ed to the Glendower Estates where he was renting following an invite from a girl friend of mine who was dating his roommate a cast member on Glee, we all hung out until 5am, sun was starting to rise since it was summer so we all decided to get a few hours of shut eye since we all had events and things to do the next day and there are plenty of bedrooms.

And like Kristina, I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight. I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock, I am also very tiny. When it was over I got my cellphone and found that the girl that had invited me had left or got kicked out. I had terrible service in the estate without access to the wifi and had to get another friend to get me an Uber out of there while Ed was passed out. The house is so big I took a video of my experience getting out of the house since it's literally a maze. I told the guy I was seeing that I got raped, Mark Salling, and when he found out by who he pretended not to know him, then blamed me for it and broke it off with me. My other friends and people around me told me it was best not to say anything, to not be "that girl" and that no one would believe me and think I was just out trying to get my 10 seconds of fame. My mother and best friend were flying into town for my birthday the next week and I didn't want this to ruin my birthday and their trip either

And so I kept quiet and soon got to see and hear how prevalent sexual assault and intimidation goes on in this industry...to the point where I questioned how much I really wanted to be in entertainment as I didn't see it getting better. And at what cost? I've since moved on from acting and wanted just to reenforce Kristin Cohen's claim as I believe them to be true.

I am so incredibly thankful all of this is finally coming to light and that there is justice in the world. I believe you Kristina Cohen and thank you for speaking up so eloquently and really encompassing what young female actresses have to go through at the hands of men like Ed Westwick. Without you I would not have had the strength to speak up publicly about my ordeal.

II.  The Statement With Analysis

The subject begins by aligning herself with another, but calls it an "ordeal,"

We need her to tell us that Ed Westwick raped her.  We believe what we are told unless someone talks us out of it.  One way of talking us out of it is to not say it:

And like Kristina, I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight. I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock, I am also very tiny. When it was over I got my cellphone and found that the girl that had invited me had left or got kicked out.

When what was over?

She does not report being raped.  She next introduces the word "terrible" which would be appropriate for a rape victim to use regarding the assault.

I had terrible service in the estate without access to the wifi and had to get another friend to get me an Uber out of there while Ed was passed out.

What was "terrible" in her personal subjective dictionary was the service and access to the wifi; not being raped.

The house is so big I took a video of my experience getting out of the house since it's literally a maze.

She takes ownership (+) but not of an assault, attack or rape, but of her "experience."

Here she anticipates being asked, "Why did you take a video?" so she pre empt such a challenge.  This is a very sensitive point of the statement to Ms. Wynn.  No such sensitivity indicator was found in Ms. Cohen's.

I told the guy I was seeing that I got raped,

But she did not tell us.

Mark Salling, and when he found out by who he pretended not to know him, then blamed me for it and broke it off with me.

She reported that she told her boyfriend she was raped; rather than state that she was raped.

I believe her.

I believe that she told him she was raped and that he broke off with her.

He likely did not believe her.

Note what is important to her here:  the element of time.

First she told him she was raped but "when" he found out...

did she tell her boyfriend "I was raped" but he had to then, somehow, find out by whom?

Notice how she uses Ms. Cohen's language and the assimilation into Ms. Cohen's account, including "mother":

III.  Analysis Conclusion

The subject does not state that she was raped.

We cannot say it for her.

That she attempts to assimilate her account into Kristina Cohen's is also very concerning.  Her statement appears to be a "copycat" imitation.

Her motive is to "reinforce" Kristina Cohen's claim.

Ms. Cohen's "claim" needs no reinforcement.  It has the truth to stand on its own.

If this claim is investigated, it may end up being "he said; she said" dispute.

It is useful to compare this with Kristina Cohen's.

Hi Peter, I saw the link to this post on Twitter. Thank you for taking the time to write this. Could you add an analysis of Westwick's latest statement released after the second accusation?

‘It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude that I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct,’

Thank you!

Anonymous, it is "unreliable" but it is made complex by responding to two accusations.

It may be that the second accuser had sexual contact with the accused, and it was less than positive, but it was not rape. Rape victims have a language all their own.

That the second may be "he said; she said", it makes it difficult for the accused to address. He would have to address each individually.

Since they are different, and I believe criminally different, he would have to address them separately and with explanation.

The first is not "unverified."

Police are investigating Kristina Cohen's allegation. This is public knowledge.

Anonymous, please read the analysis on Kristina Cohen's statement. The difference between the two women is stark and valuable for learning.

It's also interesting to note that Mark Salling was busted for child porn soon after that time.

She introduces the 'guy' she was seeing after raped, not after guy??

...then blamed me..." (makes me think she interpreted Kristina's story as to how she lost her producer boyfriend instead of her dumping him over her "ordeal").

Also, I noticed past tense until she described how large the rooms ARE. (Of course, they still are large, but I think I would have said were).

She states "I got raped" as opposed to "I was raped" or "He raped me". "Got" infers something received, as opposed to something experienced or something inflicted on a person. In the language of rape victims, is there any meaningful difference between "I got raped", "I was raped", "He raped me", etc?

It should be noted that both Mark Salling and Ed Westwick are rumoured to be gay.

Why should it be noted?

I just read James Tobacks denial of sexual harassment claims on Rolling Stone.

Gay rumors make women more comfortable in assuming a famous man will not try to pull anything shady since they are gay. Such rumors also make women more confused when such men do pull something on them.

I've read her statement many times and never noticed that she calls her experience with Ed "her personal ordeal" not her sexual assault and not her rape. This may be why she is not pressing charges. She may not be sure if what happened was illegal. It is clear that by saying her experience was similar to Kristina's that it was not a pleasant ordeal for her.

No, she's lying.

There is no linguistic connection between what happened to Kristina Cohen and the "ordeal" that this liar described.

She is an opportunist and these types of false allegations hurt women like Kristina Cohen and other rape victims.

She is not pressing charges because she runs the risk of being caught. She got her photos up at Daily Mail and "celebrated" her "ordeal" with them.

She is an ex actress attempting to ingratiate herself into the world of pain that is Ms. Cohen's.

She is a disgrace.

Thanks, Kit.
I think a number of people had seen it.

Birds of a feather.

I left it out of the analysis as not wishing to prejudice readers but it is to be noted.

When I submit a formal report (its much deeper than a blog entry), I agree to testify to its content.

The blog is basic analysis that both advertises training and helps readers see truth from deception. I went a bit deeper on Kristina Cohen's than generally I do.

LAPD is investigating.

Sorry, I keep having more to add cause I want clarity on a few things, I wish there was a edit button;

Interesting so you say "It may be that the second accuser had sexual contact with the accused, and it was less than positive, but it was not rape."

But then you say she is lying.

Which part is the lie? If she never said he raped her, but you believe they may have had a less than positive sexual encounter. Is the lie that her "ordeal" was similar to Kristina's?

I missed the daily mail thing, I saw the article about her accusations posted on the Daily Mail. But I don't see that she gave them or any other press a interview and I can't find where she "celebrated" her "ordeal" with them. That would be weird and proof of attention seeking.

Also couldn't she get in trouble for submitting a false report to the police? She did not press charges but she says she did file a report with the police and give them the video she speaks about in her statement.

If she is lying about her ordeal, she is despicable and definitely hurting the other accusers claims.

Also I feel downlow gay men try to sell their fake heterosexual life overly aggressive and that is how some of them get into trouble, screaming to the world look how straight I am I rape women can't get more straight caveman then that!!!!

I'm thinking of Jian Ghomesi. Also a d/l gay man may harbour a lot of anger and aggression and may take that out on women.
