Gannon Stauch, 11, has now been missing for two weeks (at the time of the release of this statement).
Analysis thus far has showed that the step mother's priority is not Gannon, but her own reputation. This is not expected.
She writes to address suspicion, giving us the perfect context for her to issue a Reliable Denial.
She referenced Gannon in the past tense indication the following possibilities:
1. She knows or believes he is dead
2. She knows that if or when he returns, she will never be in his life again.
She has embedded that she has harmed him, but it is not known the nature of such harm. It could be psychological abuse, physical abuse, or it could include causing his disappearance.
Gannon could have run away to get away from her.
She released a video in which she reveals psychological abuse. This release suggests a far more acute abuse in private.

Saturday Night, G was helping me unload in the garage and cut his foot because there are a lot of tools because Albert does woodworking.
He sat on the edge of the car and we bandaged it up. He was good to go. He always loves helping his dad in the garage build things like his LEGO tables and the flower pot they built for me as a gift. After this, I noticed G kept going to the side of the house.
He told me he was checking to see if the gate was locked because he was the only one with a gate key. It made him proud to be the man of the house while Albert was away. Fast forward, we did a hike on Sunday (cleared), and shopping on Monday ( cleared as well for him getting out of the other side). Please don’t think for a second that there isn’t enough of technology to determine shadows and movement around the truck. There was also proof from my phone that we had taken a selfie in the truck in our driveway that was time stamped. We always send pictures to Albert when we are out and about or when he is away. That can be scanned for actual time verification. Last, from day one the Sheriff's office has known a description of the person/friend whom Gannon left with.
I explained to them and provided evidence. They had information about G having the key to go out the side gate. Last they have more in-depth details that go along with this pointing to who sent the person or why he may have come. Again, I repeat they have had this Initially and I was asked to keep quiet about it so they could have the best shot at doing their job and bringing G home. The last thing that they needed was a hindrance to their investigation. I encourage you to think of any suspicious cars that may have been in the area watching a few days prior and keep praying for G!

She has introduced herself (as the one who got the shirt) while addressing Gannon. She not only avoids showing empathy for what Gannon is experiencing, she now continues about her own plight:

With her interview, social media posts and video, she has not said that she did not cause Gannon's disappearance.
We cannot say it for her.
The subject reveals herself as one who holds herself as the victim in this case, not the 11 year old who is missing.
If, in deed, Gannon was abducted by a stranger, we would expect that even in a very troubled relationship, the extremity of context would lead the step mother to express concern for his plight.

It is elsewhere that the stepmother says Gannon turned on a candle which burned the carpet. In the recording, she doesn’t say what the “it” is which Gannon has supposedly done. Maybe he broke or spilled something, from which she created a story of him burning a carpet? If he had burned a carpet, her interrogation has a strange priority; after getting him to “pinky promise” that he did not do it on purpose, her concern is with selling something to replace the carpet rather than that the house could’ve burned down and that he, and they all, could have been burned or killed in the process. Safety and not playing with fire, don’t get a mention. The pinky promise thing is “good mom principle” because it’s buddies who make pinky promises. It seems incongruous there.
I am not convinced Gannon burnt the carpet, only that something happened to the carpet, and she felt a need to replace it, and to lay blame on Gannon, which she does via the video.
In this latest statement, she says Gannon’s foot was cut, rather than that Gannon cut his foot. Why the passivity? She justifies the existence of tools in the garage - most garages have tools, so that shouldn’t really need explaining. How, more precisely, was Gannon’s foot cut? Was he not wearing shoes, did he fall onto it, was the tool not in its usual place - how was his foot cut? “We” bandaged it - who is “we”, and did she bandage Gannon’s foot? If your son has a cut on his foot of the type to need a bandage, do you take him hiking?

I'm getting a really bad feeling from this one.
It sounds like someone was trailing the school bus and grabbed her when she was in her front yard playing and probably fled onto the highway which looks to be close by. I have a bad feeling.
She says she feels the needs to "fill in some gaps". One of the things she needs to get of her chest is that they did a hike. Why? What's the relevance of the hike? Did she fill a gap (= hole) during a hike? Did she "clear" (= get rid of) something during the hike ("cleared", "cleared", "shadows and movements around the truck", "suspicious car")? Also: "cleared as well for him getting out of the other side" -> maybe this is too far fetched but "the other side" is synonym for "afterlife".
Also: Gannon helped her unload in the garage ("Let me stress this"). Did she “stress” and "unload" on G in the garage?
She mentions "hidden details", "keep quiet", "hindrance of the investigation" (2x) -> is she hiding something?

Gannon didn’t cut himself on a saw or some identified sharp object, but rather cut himself “because” there are a lot of tools. This avoids mentioning what he cut himself on. If this never happened then she would have no memory to make her statement from so fine details would be missing. She not only uses “because” to justify why Gannon cut his foot (allegedly) but further needs to justify why there would be so many tools in the garage, “because Albert does woodworking”.

“Faye is a bubbly and happy little girl. She always wants to play and have fun. She’s not the type of kid that will up and walk away.

It's never a good sign when a subject starts a statement with sucking up. So fake considering a week ago she was complaining that her rights were violated by the cops she is thanking today and that her husband kicked her and her daughter out.
It also seems like there are a couple temporal lacuna throughout her statement, maybe? After talking about the injury to Gannon's foot in the garage she says 'after this I noticed' which all sounds like storytelling (and why would he be the only one with a key to a gate?) Then after the random story of Gannon checking the gate she says 'Fast forward" which skips a heck of a lot of time. What happened in that time?
And it just seems a little too convenient of an answer about the question of why there's blood in the garage. Especially after hearing the video/audio of her getting on to Gannon the way she did. Is she trying to lead us to believe Gannon was accident prone or mischievous? That whatever happened was his fault? She seemed to be subtly blaming Gannon's father for his woodworking tools also in this statement. Personally, I don't know any men that just leave tools laying in a garage floor waiting to be stepped on.

I am concerned about the grandmother’s use of past tense when she says “She always HAD a smile on her face...I mean she always HAS a smile on her face”. Perhaps Peter can pipe in as to whether this indicates knowledge of death. Or if geandmother may have been picturing Faye in distress at this present time causing her to use past tense about her smiling?
The other thing that jumped out at me was “bounce”....she doesnt walk....she BOUNCES” everywhere.....I am not sure why this is concerning me”....mostly a gut feeling but yes I am concerned she may have been thrown over a cliff/embankment....into a well..that is what I pictured when she spoke of Faye “bouncing”....this was a mental image that formed.

Reading her past statements and interviews, I suspect she may have had help with this statement Spelling, grammar etc. This maybe the result of many drafts made.
It is disturbing to say he, Gannon, kept checking the gate. This after a boo boo? Kept? Did he have OCD? Autisim? Either it's locked or it isn't.

She speaks surprisingly well of her husband who didn't give a dayum about her based on little evidence off a video. I wouldn't want an apology; I'd want a divorce! Especially after investing so much time and energy to care for his children who'd otherwise be abused and thrown to some Alaskan tundra beside a military base. That wouldn't be okay. That would be an eye opener.
Her ideation of the military is telling too. Even though she knows what the mother is like and she's in the military, she detest the fact that her own daughter, a military member, was placed in handcuffs. (Though that description of what went down is overkill).
Hopefully, there will be much less online and in person bullying and more kindness towards her to get some clues to his whereabouts. The bullying has never worked so I fail to see it's usefulness in cases such as this. She isn't rich and famous and it's likely she's going to jail one way or the other. an fYI: They've searched northern El Paso county-appx 20 miles from his house. It's secrecretive, as much as anyone with printed Sheriff's Office on the side of the huge RVs can be, so the exact location can't be known to anyone outside of the free world.
There were some tweets, some bashing about stupid questions and try to keep up type stuff. I looked on another blog and they were off on some weird tangent about some love affair.
Here's my take on the situation: Gannon may have a friend in the area that has an older brother that drives. One of them, be it Gannon, the friend or the driving age hooligan, is very destructive. A man that used to do delivery for a store nearby gave the tip. He is good at facial recognition. I'd believe him. It's amazing what all convience store clerks can remember.
Anon @8:57: The affair was between the husband/Gannon's father and the stepmother. He married his affair partner. Gannon's biological mother was her friend; they were all on a backyard softball team together. Stepmother unaccountably hates biomom, even though it was Stepmother who broke up the family (projection much?); and never resists a chance to badmouth biomom. Biomom has in turn tactfully said zero about Stepmom in return; and never speaks to the media unless asked to speak to the media for publication/broadcast airing.
That random former store delivery guy on Twitter sounded mentally ill to me. Are you saying you know him, and thus how qualified he is *not* to be talking out of his a** about some random dark-haired kid? Because I, too, can go onto a blog and say "I am good at facial recognition". It doesn't in fact mean that I am good at facial recognition. If you know he is good at facial recognition because you yourself know him, that's a different kettle of fish.

You are absolutely right! I have no way of knowing he is an "expert" based on his own words claiming to be GOOD at facial recognition.
In addition, it would be hard to figure out the commentor that started the affair scenerio on a blog to start rumors about the fidelity of someone who's had an affair-which is obviously more important than any information garnered that COULD find the child.
Perhaps a Phd could weigh in on the mental health of the tipster and get him put in his place and medicated so he doesn't make such sweeping leaps of logic in the future.
Then they could enhance the ability of every person standing within 6 foot of where a suspect, runaway or other sought after person by turning them into 'expert' friend finders who share information to be used against them if and when the need becomes appropriate.
Kinda like narcisists do......searching for anything to beat another down.
Perhaps they can open up classes and others would enroll and think twice before participating.
Just curious...Why would you make up a theory seemingly out of whole cloth about a friend with an older brother and say that Gannon, his friend or the older brother is destructive? Gannon was a sweet 11 year old boy, by all accounts. And why would the older brother drive Gannon somewhere and make him disappear, or worse, murder him? Do you have any evidence to support this theory? Did you come up with it based on the supposed former delivery man with excellent "facial recognition?" How would he have even seen the boys if he is a "former" delivery driver? Are you saying he saw them together at a convenience store? Police are very good at their job, and I would think they would have found the delivery driver, the friend, the older hooligan brother AND Gannon by now if any of that were true. Those stores have cameras and the boys would have been seen on those cameras. It would not be difficult to find and question Gannon's friends either. In fact, I'm sure that was done almost immediately.
With all the ridiculous statements and odd ramblings the stepmother has released, it is pretty obvious to me that she probably harmed that boy. I do not believe he was taken by a friend and his older brother. You might as well theorize that Santa Claus abducted him or that he was taken by fairies. No. Poor Gannon has a witch of a stepmother who did something dreadful to him. I feel absolutely horrible for him that he suffered living with her for even one minute. I hope they find out what happened to Gannon and put that woman in prison for life if she is found guilty of his disappearance. She should turn herself in and tell the police where he is if she knows (and she almost certainly does).
I deleted my transcript of Faye’s family member and friend as it could be misrepresentative of who said what. It could be that the person I expected to be the grandmother was the friend, and the person I assumed was the mother was the grandmother, and that the mother was not present. It seemed there were three present, plus interviewer, but maybe not. Whatever, it’s not reliable, so I am sorry to have posted it.
If the friend made and corrected the past tense reference to Faye it would be quite different to the grandmother having done that.
Police are now looking for Gannon in wooded area's (using shovels) in northern El Paso County and southern Douglas County. This made me think of the following:

-> working in the woods using tools. If she had something to do with Gannon's disappearance, could she be leaking details here?
I think Tecia was a horrible stepmother and probably abusive towards Gannon, but I don't believe she killed him. She may know what happened to him though.. I base that on her describing the entire event as an 'accident'. She seems very adamant that he is still alive. I hope he is, but it's difficult to believe that.
