Bill Cosby has said he gave the National Enquirer an exclusive interview in 2005 in exchange for the tabloid dropping a story by a woman accusing him of sexual assault.

Cosby admitted to the exchange when he testified under oath in September of that year. Excerpts from the deposition were released on Wednesday.

The comedian was facing a civil lawsuit filed by Andrea Constand, who accused him of sexually molesting her. The National Enquirer had an interview with a second accuser, Beth Ferrier, who made similar claims.

Cosby said he had been given a draft of Ms Ferrier's interview with the Enquirer and was told she had passed its lie detector test.

He said he feared the public would believe Ms Constand’s sexual-assault accusations if the Enquirer published similar claims by a second woman.

"Did you ever think that if Beth Ferrier's story was printed in the National Enquirer, that that would make the public believe that maybe Andrea was also telling the truth?" Cosby was asked.
"Exactly," Cosby replied, according to court motions initially filed under seal.

Cosby, in the deposition, said he had a contract with the Enquirer.

"I would give them an exclusive story, my words," he said.

In return, "they would not print the story of - print Beth's story."

Cosby has refused to discuss allegations raised in recent weeks by numerous women that he had sexually assaulted them decades ago.

Some claimed they were drugged and then molested.

Cosby's lawyers have said the allegations were "discredited" and "defamatory" and the comedian has not been charged.

He has previously settled a civil suit with Ms Constand.

The allegations have threatened Cosby's wholesome public image and future in show business, as several of his projects have been scrapped.

The actor's downfall has jolted generations of Americans who knew and liked him, most notably as the lovable father Dr Cliff Huxtable on the hit NBC comedy The Cosby Show.

Obviously, Cosby is a dirtbag, is scum and a serial cheater and a low life sexual abuser of women. One of the lowest forms of humanity. The only step lower would be a pedophile and/or murderer.

He is finished, washed up, his career and life are on hold for the rest of his miserable pathetic rotten life. He will never recover from this and will die a broken and more likely an unrepentant man.

It is not fair, however, that the rest of the cast of actors on The Cosby Show have lost the income generated from its' reruns caused by his self-imposed ruination and not due to problems caused by any of them. I hope they can find a way to recover their lost income and future value as actors because of him.

911 call: Man says ‘intruders’ are choking his wife

Man screams for help, saying at least 2 intruders are in his home
Crying, cursing and pleading can be heard during the call
At scene: Naked man and injured, unconscious wife found, but no intruders

Cops race to the scene of an upscale Florida home after receiving a frantic 911 call about intruders in the house. The man on the phone is desperate, pleading with authorities to hurry because he says his wife is being choked. He’s screaming, telling the intruders, “Stop! Stop it!” When cops get to the home, they reportedly find a sweating, panting, completely naked man, David Brevick. They also find a critically injured woman, Francia Vargas-Brevick, his wife. What they do not find are any of the intruders Brevick called 911 to report.

The Nancy Grace staff spoke with Major Tod Goodyear of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. He revealed that upon further investigation of the scene, authorities discovered the residence had an extensive alarm and video camera system. When police checked the records, they found responders had tripped the alarm when they entered the residence but they were the first ones to trip it that day. Additionally, Goodyear said that, despite the fact that cameras were fixed on locations throughout the house, no intruders were spotted.

So how does one explain the 911 call? On it, David Brevick can be heard panting, cursing and pleading for the “intruders” to stop. He tells the 911 dispatcher he thinks someone choked his girl. He exclaims, “Francia, get away from them!...These guys are f***ing crazy, they won’t stop!” Then, when he is questioned by the dispatcher about how many people are there, he responds, “I don’t know, at least two! At least two!” But he also explains he thinks they are her friends. It all spirals into a cacophony, ranging from Brevick screaming swear words to him scolding the alleged intruders as one might scold a child, “You don’t do that, man. God damn it guys, c’mon.” Neither the intruders nor Brevick’s wife Francia are ever heard on the call.

Now, David Brevick is in court on trial for the first-degree murder of his wife. You can hear the same 911 call the jury heard.

HLN is owned by CNN. Grace does what her slave master's tell her to say and do.

The Lacrosse case showed she was plain ignorant., even though she harped, and blew a fuse claiming the boys were guilty. Nifong charged with prosecutorial misconduct, is now "disgraced former prosecutor." He lost his law license.

Nifong was sued by the falsely accused players and in 2008 Nifong filed for bankruptcy. Judge Stocks lifted the automatic stay on Nifong's bankruptcy and announced the plaintiff's can pursue their lawsuit.

Wrong. Nancy disGrace does and says exactly as she pleases and be damned with any and everyone who gets in her way. I can't believe anyone still watches this screaming banshee woman or believes a word she says.

However, in spite of her sorry self, Nancy disGrace did make some good points in her interview in re the deceptions of Darren Wilson and the prosecutor whose testimony was slanted in Officer Wilsons' favor before the grand jury.

Occasionally she gets one right. Well, almost.
