President Obama on Precedent With Taxes

Here is President Obama's response when George Stephanopolous asks him how he’d respond if a future president takes the same action on taxes that Obama has taken on immigration.

Stephanopolous asked: “How do you respond to the argument, a future president comes in and wants lower taxes. Doesn’t happen. Congress won’t do it; so he says ‘I’m not going to prosecute those who don’t pay capital gains tax.’”

“The truth of the matter is George, the reason that we, have to do.. uhm prosecutorial discretion in immigration, is that we know, that we – are not even close to being able to deal with the folks who have been here a long time…”
“The vast majority of folks understand that they need to pay taxes, and when we conduct an audit, for example, we are selecting those folks who are most likely to be cheating,” said Obama. “We’re not going after millions and millions of people who everybody knows are here and were taking advantage of low wages as they’re mowing lawns or cleaning out bedpans, and looking the other way.”
“So you don’t think it’d be legitimate for a future president to make that argument?” Stephanopoulos said.
Obama: “With respect to taxes? Absolutely not.”

Last night in Ferguson decision, the President said, "We are a nation of laws."

OT: Peter, please analyze the two separate interviews with this new Madeleine McCann suspect. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/madeleine-mccann-cops-ignored-tip-off-4688474

this is a good point about Obama.

Whoa, Mr. Obama

Tax payers are not entitled to the same executive considerations as undocumented aliens?

Is it because tax payers are all cheaters, in your opinion, and undocumented aliens would never cheat?

"The Divider in Chief" is being bantered about now.

I think he hates America, as America is, and when he said, last night, that we were a "nation of laws", I don't know how he kept a straight face.

what statements?

Wow. So you can be here illegally and... you don't have to pay taxes!

Maybe he can say we're a nation of laws with a straight face, because the second part of the statement is "that aren't followed by everyone." :) :) :)

The Mirror interviewed this new suspect and cut his statements into two separate clips on this link. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/madeleine-mccann-cops-ignored-tip-off-4688474

I will transcribe if you need me to, but his body language is almost as interesting as his statements.

This is one of 7 suspects Scotland Yard has linked through phone calls the night she disappeared.

Note: "...the fact that I just took an action to change the law." at the end of paste...

"All right, OK. OK. I understand," Obama told the protesters after letting them go on for some time. "Listen. Hold on, hold on, hold on. Young lady, young lady, don't just -- don't just start -- don't just start yelling, young ladies. Sir, why don't you sit down, too?

"Listen, you know -- here. Can I just say this, all right? I've listened to you. I heard you. I heard you. I heard you. All right? Now I have been respectful, I let you holler. All right? So let me just -- nobody is removing you. I have heard you, but you have got to listen to me, too. All right? And I understand you may disagree, I understand you may disagree. But we have got to be able to talk honestly about these issues, all right?

"Now, you're absolutely right that there have been significant numbers of deportations. That's true. But what you are not paying attention to is the fact that I just took an action to change the law."

The United States Constitution says the legislative power is held by Congress, not by the president.

PS I refer to him as the "Patronizer-in-Chief".

Can you analyze his recent speeches, about Ferguson? And maybe Officer Wilson's interview? I saw him speaking quite a bit in present tense, but he was also being ASKED questions in present tense, plus I'm wondering if this whole thing could have caused PTSD for him, as his entire life as he knew it is now so different, he did have to shoot and ultimately kill someone.

I don't understand what the rioters want, besides destruction of their own neighborhoods, and free material things. There was a grand jury of peers, including black folks, as well as black witnesses from said community who testified. The grand jury has worked for how long? Now all of a sudden it's not "fair"?

He keeps a straight face because he is a pathological liar.
The real question is, "does he ever tell the truth?"
And I think we all know the answer to that one.
