Snopes, Deception, and Agenda

Snopes is often quoted as the 'final word' on something, but a closer look at Snopes' editorializing suggests a less than stellar record and some rather superficial 'analysis.'  One may also wonder if the editorial stance holds to a level of politically correct bias.

Recall the Snopes' "investigation" to the European No Go Zones, well known to police, citizens, and those who live both in and near them. How well known?  Not only to those who live in or near them, nor to those who have had to enter them as professionals, but with actual addresses given by law enforcement revealing them.

Snopes' "research" showed it to be an 'internet rumor' at best, with Fox News cowering in dhinnitide with their apology over what amounts to semantics.

Europeans do not call them "no go zones", which is an American military expression.  They have other names for them, and, since then, we've learned that there are not "dozens of no go zones" but hundreds, and are growing in an unprecedented rate (historically unprecedented excludes military invasion) throughout Europe.

Sweden is now the "rape capital" of Western civilization and is the number one most dangerous country for women, outside of a single country in Africa.  Swedish officials and corporate media conspired, similar to the migrant crisis in Germany, to withhold information from the public (for their "own good") and actually attempt to re-classify perpetrators of crime, in order to be incapable of identifying the rapists' common ideology.

It took a string of embarrassing turns in Germany, including a Merkel loyalist breaking rank, and a police union official breaking silence, to reveal the deception agreed upon by both German officials and their corporate or "Main Stream Media" to have the truth reach the public.

Recently, an email was published reportedly from a Czech doctor working in Germany containing details of the migrant crisis' impact upon a hospital.

Snoops covered it and did "analysis" to discredit the authenticity of it, with the inconclusive conclusion.

The conclusion may be inconclusive, but the attempt to persuade by the article's author is clear.

Statement Analysis is best done in first language, yet when we analyze something in second language, we must "step back" and "step away" from small detail, and only analyze the larger context, including communicative language.

Even in second language, we are often able to discern deception from reliability as well as bring forth a general profile of the author including age, gender, experience, and priority.

The following came from Czech TV and is an email from a Czech anesthesiogist working in Germany.  She is not under the same restrictions that we saw, even in the language of the Police Union leader, but if she stays in Germany, may face criminal charges for her language, as well as deportation.  Germany reports being in a crisis to find doctors and has advertised throughout Europe to bring in doctors and nurses.

Her name has not yet been released.

Here is the English Translation of the broadcast.  What can we say about the author of the letter?

First, we should note that the letter asserts the experience of trauma, therefore, we expect the subject to, in any language, give us signals of "personal, close up" experience.

When someone experiences violent crime or high level fear, we do not expect to hear the word "gentlemen" as in "...the gentlemen broke into my home and proceeded to rape and assault my daughter."

What is the expected?

"The ^*&% animals raped my daughter!"

Recall the soft, passive and minimizing language of several "fake hate" accounts, including Charlie Rogers.

If three masked men held you down and cut into your skin, your language is going to show very close contact fear and rage, and not passivity.

Even in rape victims who disassociate we do not find passive or soft language about the perpetrators.

Scopes, however, saw it differently, thinking that anger showed an agenda (as they project their own).

The author of the email is not only angry, she is very angry.  Is it justifiable (in her mind; remember, you are not commenting on a political situation, but seeing if the letter was, indeed, written from a female medical professional who was present as claimed) in context?

Next, they questioned the strange way the hospital is conducting the seeing of patients.

Have you never seen a hospital go into emergency mode when over run, and turn into make shift triage and emergency quarters?

All Snopes would have to do is look at some video from 9/11 in New York to see the overall chaos and "on the fly" medical assistance given when numbers exceed the norm.

Snopes, even when indicating falsehood, seems to "go lightly" on certain topics.

Truth cares not for appearance sake.  Truth is truth whether it is convenient, digestible, old, new, in vogue, or quite out of favor.

Statement Analysis gets to the truth.

News Announcer:  "We will return to the topic of the migrants because I have another letter here regarding the effect of immigrants on the everyday flow of operations. Eyewitness from a Munich hospital: A friend in Prague has a friend, who, as a retired physician, had returned to work at a Munich area hospital where they needed an anaesthesiologist. I correspond with her and she forwarded me her email. "

Here is the email.

Since our words reveal us, without looking too deeply, what do you know about the author?  Please note that emphasis has been added to assist you in discernment.

Some questions for you to consider, with none being very deep, as we would go in first language analysis:

Does the language indicate a close up traumatic event?
Does the subject connect herself with this event (or events)?
With the topic of threat, is the response expected or is it soft, passive, and inconsistent with the threat?
Does the language reveal a familiarity with medical procedures and terminology?

Note the external context:  this came out shortly after Germany admitted that the estimate was not accurate, and quickly backed away from the open border, no refusal statements.

Are the pronouns consistent?  Deceptive statements will sometimes be evident by a single pronoun 'error.'

Where distancing language is used, is it appropriately used? Or, does it signal a disconnect?

Statement Analysis deals with what one says, but also with what one does not say:

Are there areas in which hyperbole and exaggeration could have been used but were not?

Generally, heavily emotional statements contain lengthier sentences. Do you find emotion to "get the better of" the author, or does the author show herself more willing to protect her own image?

In other words, sometimes people embarrass themselves because they are telling the truth.

"I never used the "n" word", Mark Furhman.  Here is a calm and collected lie.  When one is angry, words fly past the filter, even in second languages.

When there is a change in language, is it justified by the context?  Is there a difference, for example, between "Muslims" and "migrants" in the language?

Always note order, and which topics are given the most volume of words;  does the order show consistency?  Does the order make sense?
Where the volume of words increase, is there an emotional force driving this?  If so, you are seeing indicators of veracity.

Lastly, in general terms, does what is reported match here with supremacist ideology? Is there a consistency of thought?

For those of you with experience, you may go further, including gender and background of the author.

Although some of the techniques are advanced and used in advanced trainings, even basic techniques applied evenly here should bring you to a conclusion:

Is this letter from a female medical professional, as claimed, or is it a hoax?

"Yesterday, at the hospital we had a meeting about how the situation here and at the other Munich hospitals is unsustainable. Clinics cannot handle emergencies, so they are starting to send everything to the hospitals.

Many Muslims are refusing treatment by female staff and, we, women, are refusing to go among those animals, especially from Africa. Relations between the staff and migrants are going from bad to worse. Since last weekend, migrants going to the hospitals must be accompanied by police with K-9 units. Many migrants have AIDS, syphilis, open TB and many exotic diseases that we, in Europe, do not know how to treat them. If they receive a prescription in the pharmacy, they learn they have to pay cash. This leads to unbelievable outbursts, especially when it is about drugs for the children

They abandon the children with pharmacy staff with the words: “So, cure them here yourselves!” So the police are not just guarding the clinics and hospitals, but also large pharmacies. Truly we said openly: Where are all those who had welcomed in front of TV cameras, with signs at train stations?! Yes, for now, the border has been closed, but a million of them are already here and we will definitely not be able to get rid of them. Until now, the number of unemployed in Germany was 2.2 million. Now it will be at least 3.5 million.

Most of these people are completely unemployable. A bare minimum of them have any education. What is more, their women usually do not work at all. I estimate that one in ten is pregnant. Hundreds of thousands of them have brought along infants and little kids under six, many emaciated and neglected. If this continues and German re-opens its borders, I’m going home to the Czech Republic. Nobody can keep me here in this situation, not even double the salary than at home. I went to Germany, not to Africa or the Middle East.

Even the professor who heads our department told us how sad it makes him to see the cleaning woman, who for 800 Euros cleans every day for years, and then meets young men in the hallways who just wait with their hand outstretched, want everything for free, and when they don’t get it they throw a fit. I really don’t need this! But I’m afraid that if I return, that at some point it will be the same in the Czech Republic. If the Germans, with their nature cannot handle this, there in Czechia it would be total chaos. Nobody who has not come in contact with them has no idea what kind of animals they are, especially the ones from Africa, and how Muslims act superior to our staff, regarding their religious accommodation.

For now, the local hospital staff has not come down with the diseases they brought here, but, with so many hundreds of patients every day – this is just a question of time. In a hospital near the Rhine, migrants attacked the staff with knives after they had handed over an 8-month-old on the brink of death, which they had dragged across half of Europe for three months. The child died in two days, despite having received top care at one of the best pediatric clinics in Germany.

The physician had to undergo surgery and two nurses are laid up in the ICU. Nobody has been punished. The local press is forbidden to write about it, so we know about it through email. What would have happened to a German if he had stabbed a doctor and nurses with a knife? Or if he had flung his own syphilis-infected urine into a nurse’s face and so threatened her with infection? At a minimum he’d go straight to jail and later to court. With these people – so far, nothing has happened.

And so I ask, where are all those greeters and receivers from the train stations? Sitting pretty at home, enjoying their non-profits and looking forward to more trains and their next batch of cash from acting like greeters at the stations. If it were up to me I would round up all these greeters and bring them here first to our hospital’s emergency ward, as attendants. Then, into one building with the migrants so they can look after them there themselves, without armed police, without police dogs who today are in every hospital here in Bavaria, and without medical help."

Snopes went downhill a few years ago, probably when its founders sold to a megacorp. Not just sloppy with its research and proof now, but blatantly biased and misleading as Peter notes.

The founder, Barbara something or other was a terrible writer, with four paragraphs of annoying, cutesy fluff burying every fact or line of interesting information, but at least they were honest and thorough.

OT - Police: Stepfather took out life insurance policy on murdered toddler

Anon with OT posted link: now why would the mother call the neighbor and ask her to call 911? She couldn't call 911 herself?
Unless...the "the next-door neighbor, said she received a frantic call from Alicia Bankston’s mother" snippet meant she called out to her in person instead of a phone call?

On Oct. 4, Alicia Bankston was staying at her mother’s house on Princeton Drive. Her new boyfriend, Brandon Jimenez, was visiting.

Police a gunman came to the door and fired several shots. Jimenez was wounded and the 2-year-old was shot dead.

Candace Johnson, the next-door neighbor, said she received a frantic call from Alicia Bankston’s mother.

“She was yelling, she was telling me to call 911,” Johnson said. “She was telling me that Joseph had been shot.”

Note to Peter ~ I knew you'd come back to this one when you found yourself in better health.:) I found the original post enlightening; even a "broadening of horizons" moment. I don't have time to enjoy the analysis for commentary but am excited to study it in leisure. Thanks ~ Pam

If this were truly a woman in the medical field, why would she need to explain where they had a meeting to a dear, old friend?
1)Muslims are refusing treatment by womans
2)They abandon sick children
3)Unemployable and pregnant womens
4)PROFESSOR OF OUR DEPT
5)Time will tell when EBOLA and the like arrive
6)They attack and maim personell
7)Some rich beotch is behind it all! We must get to the bottom of it!

I thought this was a real email the first time you wrote about it but I got confused when I saw another poster (a long time poster) post their thought that the email was a fake. I'm still not great at analysis but, to me, what was in the email seemed honest. To me it sounds like a woman, probably in her late 40's/early 50's , and she's scared and angry, and at the end of her patience . I feel bad for her and her colleagues :( it sounds terrible.

Germany’s interior minister says migrant crisis has two faces
22/10 16:09 CET

Migrants not needing protection in Europe will be sent back home. The warning from Germany’s interior minister Thomas de Maiziere, who says the politics of migration has two faces.

He’s been visiting a centre in the south of the country, where people are registered or told that they will be repatriated.

“Those who have a need for protection should be allowed to stay here, be integrated, learn the language and get a job,” said de Maiziere.

“But those who do not need protection, even if they have just as understandable reasons to lead a better life here, they must leave our country.”

Meanwhile, the UN’s human rights chief has accused the Czech Republic of committing systematic human rights violations by detaining refugees for up to 90 days – and strip-searching them for money to pay for their own detention.

Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein also says he’s alarmed about “Islamophobic” statements coming out of the country.

The Czech president has rejected the criticism. His spokesman said: “the president has long warned of the threat of Islamic fundamentalism. He stands by his opinion and he will not change it under pressure from abroad.”

Juliet, sarcasm is not included in any of my comments to you or anyone else. I've read and re-read every comment on this page trying to understand. If you are referring to:

Juliet ~ girl, you're gonna make me cry ~
thank you for sharing your personal experience

I was impressed with your post. You were unafraid to take an opposing stand. I like that. I responded to you in sincerity. I try to place myself in the writer's feelings while reading. I am sympathetic to the migrant's situation and was touched by your words. Have I gave you reason to question the intent of my words?

It is too early for me to get my heart racing like this. My granddaughters are now up getting ready for school. I'm going downstairs to restart my morning and enjoy their positive attitudes.

For the record to all within this circle of posters: if and when I respond with sarcasm, there will be no question. Count on it.

Dear Juliet

Sometimes it is the way we receive a comment, that makes us think we are being criticized. More often than not, no harm is intended. It's the way the writer tends to communicate.

If I'm too easily moved by the comments of others, I'm asking myself "why I am so sensitive?" I'm trying to not be quick to assume "too easily moved"" is a personal attack on me, although the "get a grip" remark is unnecessary. It could be that you, Juliet, are offering a suggestion to help me.

I unapologetically agree ~ I am "too easily moved" by the emotions of my soul and heart. My emotions are sometimes powerfully strong, so much so I wear myself out with them. It's my nature. I can't change it but am able to learn to regulate it through self-exploration and by developing the skill of equinamity. I won't confuse this concept with suppression of feeling, apathy or inexpressiveness for that is not in my nature.

Juliet, thank you for helping me to recognize an opportunity to grow. Governing my emotions, words, and life is to achieve an internal balance of my spirit.

Sincerely
Pam

This all has its roots in two separate but interrelated things - the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan and the Cloward-Piven Strategy.

The Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan (Angela Merkel won the Coudenhove-Kalergi Prize in 2010) was financed by the major European banking families of the time (Warburgs and Rothschilds) and openly called for a cross-fertilization of communism and capitalism, the elimination of individual countries into a form of global 'regionalism', and the interbreeding of Europeans with third-world peoples to make Europe into a rootless mass with no identity that could be easily manipulated and controlled.

The Cloward-Piven strategy was a plan drawn up in America in 1966 to overwhelm the public welfare system, bankrupt the country, and create a crisis situation that would allow others to step in and create drastic 'reforms' to save the system that they themselves destroyed.

The people in charge of refugees and migrants with the UN are representatives of high finance and multinational corporations.

Peter Sutherland, the UN migration Chief, told the EU in 2012 that they needed to "undermine" their "national homogeneity".

Peter Sutherland is also the chairman of Goldman-Sachs International, the founder of the World Trade Organization, the "father of globalization", and an attendee at the ultra-secret Bilderberg Group meeetings.

This is part of an enormous power-play that has been going on for at least a hundred years. Europe and its culture are being literally sold out.

Juliet, please re-read your post. Now read it again but replace any reference to the word "slums" or "NoGoAreas" with my great country's "American Ghettos."

Preface with a little American History:

From 1890 to 1940, blacks migrated to urban areas, creating ghettos in the process. Between 1940 and 1970, black ghettos expanded and cemented themselves in economic life. Since 1970, though, urban segregation has declined, especially for more educated blacks.

Ghettos may be a way for new migrants to adjust to a different cultural environment. It may be a necessary evil.

I'm still unsure what interpretation from the media to believe. I've read some European comments over the past years implying the chances of going into a bad area and dying are mostly slim unless you do something really stupid. Racial lines havent' been as strong in your country. American ghettos can be both incredibly dangerous and tragic. It seems you are only beginning to awaken to the reality of racism.

Juliet, my post is not intended to spark a debate about racism. I am explaining my emotional response while reading your personal observation. It's not difficult for me to relate. I pray for all, especially the children. History has a way of repeating itself. Racism is ugly

Juliet and pam.a.grandma, I don't understand how anyone can read that post and not react the way pam.a.grandma did, assuming they believe it to be true or even mostly true.

I can't stand all of the ugly, hate, ignorance and greed that runs so much of our world.
By that I mean from the individual level, to how countries treat one another, and am relieved I likely have only a couple of years due to a medical issue.

I think it's absolutely sickening that on a blog dedicated to exposing liars and criminals, containing no fluff, Juliet did an entire post confusing the cases in Ohio and Idaho simply because there are so many dead, abused, neglected children just in the past few weeks that we have trouble keeping them straight!

Even worse, we know we only hear of a tiny fraction of them.

Whenever we read of these women who were held captive for decades, often having borne children to their abductor, I wonder how many right in our own countries, neighborhood even, who we don't even know exist (or existed) because they were born in captivity and never seen doctors, been educated, gone to a movie or even a grocery store?

Interesting strategy, considering that the entire premise of America is "a rootless mass with no identity" and while you could argue how many are easily manipulated on individual levels, we're nowhere close to being controlled as a mass.
Our so-called leaders serve only themselves and their own party and can't even make simple decisions without shutting down the government.

The No Go Areas do not refer to low income or poorly educated people:

The No Go Zones, Areas, etc refer to those places where de fact Sharia law exists, Islamic supremacy is practiced, and crimes against women, including rape go either un punished, under punished, (including victim blaming) and/or where police have lost control, and even emergency services do not always enter for fear of their own lives.

Sweden is now the rape capital of Europe and no where in Europe is a woman in greater danger than Sweden.

Germany has cities run by Islamic gangs.

There are Islamic zones where Islamists are demanding sovereignty and that Europe cede land to them of their own.

The violence is everywhere and Europeans are afraid of even reporting it.

Besides the news stories snuffed by MSM, watch videos, and listen to citizens who, when interviewed, are frightened to tell the truth.

When one requests their comment to be deleted, we do our best to accommodate.

This is a place where ideas are exchanged and debates are heard, but not a propagation of ignorance, especially if such ignorance claims use of the very principles learned here, just to satisfy an agenda, or simply a need for recognition.

It is also a topic that is not about race. It is not racism.

There is a de facto imposition of Sharia blasphemy laws in Europe. Police are terminated for speaking out.
Crime statistics are falsified to clear Islam.
Those in the United States who exposing Sharia are banned from traveling in the UK, while those who uphold the abuse of women and the death of democracy are state protected.

It is about a supremacist ideology that is acted upon and has been for 1400 years.

The pedophilia, the rape and degradation of women, the throwing of homosexuals off buildings and the terrorism of "Allah Akbar" is not a few psychopathic killers found here or there.

It is to the average of 20,000 dead every year, excluding wars, and increases greatly during the 30 days of Ramadan.

All the propaganda in the world is not going to change this. All the free money will not change this.

70-90% of the migrants are male, 18-35, even though BBC shows pictures of women and children.

53 Christian migrants thrown into the sea by Islamic supremacist on a boat, and no reporting.

every day women are slaughtered, have their breasts cut off, and little girls mutilated while the Koran is recited, and we are not allowed to complain?

This blog is also deduced to deception. I have analyzed many fake hates and if the letter had been fake, I would have done the same.

This situation is at a crisis point according to this doctor. The people that they are trying to help are unreasonable, violent, cruel, and chaotic in their demands for medical treatment and drugs.

I don't see how the German citizens will tolerate this type behavior as they are clean, organized, and stable in their daily lives. This type of disruption is cause for most German to get angry and stiff necked towards the immigrants, who are acting ungrateful towards their hosts, by German standards.

Anytime a doctor calls a group of immigrants "savages" there is going to be a reaction from German citizens and the government knows it. Germans respect their country and culture. They protect it with a common steadfastness.

I can't add anything that isn't already in the article, Peter. This paragraph sums it all up:
Mohammed doesn’t share European values. Nor are they likely to take hold of him no matter how often the aging teachers, who hope he gets a job and subsidizes their retirement, try to drill them into his head. Europeans expect Mohammed to become a Swede or a German as if he were some child they had adopted from an exotic country and raised as their own, and work to subsidize their European values.

I liken denials as hideous as Holocaust denials: Deliberate and offensive.

The Islamic violence has increased dramatically in the past 6 years, but even so since the "Arab Spring" and the killing of Christians in the middle east, Africa and Asia increasing before our eyes.

Having worked with rape victims for almost 29 years, I am appalled and frightened by the Sweden rape epidemic. I am angered by the cover up and denials complicit with Sharia blasphemy laws. I won't have the nonsense here.

Islamic supremacy, from the Koran, enforced in childhood while physically beating the mother, moves to a pathology of violence, corporate victim status, and shout down threats where politicians quickly assume dhimmitude posture of submission, wishing to avoid controversy.

Fox News was just as cowardly.

Where are the voices of women rights movement while women are being degraded as specifically prescribed in the Koran, with physical assaults, and the koranic description of being worth only 50% of man?

Where are LGBT protests when our weekly homosexual is thrown off a building, with all to see the video, across the world?

Why do city counsels, such as in San Francisco protest ads which quote the Koran on these matters, disapprove them, while ignoring the violence against homosexuals?

The garment prison to which women are sentenced is enforced with not only threats of rape, but rape itself.

Is this a "far right" ideal to want human rights for women, in the most basic elements, protected?
Is it "far right" to demand safety for homosexuals and a right to live?

The folly of comments is astounding. My hope is that rather than be utterly blind to truth due to allegiance to a political leaning, ignorance rules instead. At least ignorance can be corrected with information.

Thank you to the editorial staff for the large volume deleting.

I did read some of the Spam folder and was shocked but a good job was done.

I found this perusing news stories and commentary this morning:

Do gays getting caned in Indonesia suffer from Islamophobia?

A province in Indonesia that follows sharia law has passed a law saying that homosexuals can be spanked with a cane 100 times. One hundred times! Even certain groups that enjoy bondage whipping, not to mention pony play in San Francisco might be turned off by that.

Gay sex between Muslim men or women, both locals and foreigners, can now be punished with 100 strokes of the cane.

The law, passed in 2014 but only now being enforced, has faced opposition by rights groups.

The strictly Muslim province has become increasingly conservative in recent years and is the only one in Indonesia allowed to implement Sharia law.

It's all part of sharia law....

You might understand my emotional reaction if you have been a long term reader here. I have always supported those who are bullied and harmed, regardless of political belief.
When I uncovered some "fake hate", I was accused of hatred though I worked with homeless gay teens in crisis. I did not ask them which party they would eventually vote for before assisting them.

When I show supremacy islamic psychology leading to crime, I am "Islamophobic"

When I show the deception of Hillary or Barak, it is "just politics."

The domestic violence issue alone, is severe in Islamic supremacy thinking. I worked with this in Lewiston, Maine and I found it utterly impossible to talk both the men AND the women out of the physical violence. The women, themselves, not only said it was their husbands' religious duties, when they took employment working in group homes, they used violence any time a patient refused medicine, or any minor infraction. Some workers feared reporting them due to being called "racist" because the abusers were Somali.

Violence is sweeping our world in a new wave since the Arab Spring and there are still those who wish to silence any criticism of the ideology that when obeyed, brings the violence.

I have read your blog for years; since it even moved locations and you always seem to stir anger when you quote a politician. What makes the recent condemnation so strange is that you are being claimed to be a right winger but you condemned the Fox News Channel with the high insult. Fox News is a channel that conservatives watch more than liberals, so I find the condemnation of your analysis ironic. I don't know if it is genuinely a doctor but your reasons to show it first hand show convincing arguments. I also did not know how violent things have gotten in Europe.
Over the years I have watched your analysis expose liars and some of the liars were people I admired and most were not but I always knew that your analysis was evenly done and I respected it even though I was angered at times. I have commented and we have disagreed some politically though my own views have changed a lot and will change too as I continue to grow. Please don't let the obvious political left hinder posts that bring us the proper analysis.

Susan,

I appreciate your words.

I suspect the critic's concern is Hillary more than the violence of supremacy ideology.

Your disagreements have been noted over the years and respectful.

Care to comment on this one?

Hillary is a colorful and divisive character and is a pathological liar, which means, taken together:

A heck of a lot more sample for us here!

Her outrageous claims (direct lies) are rare in terms of the population, but the norm for her. She will continue to get coverage here and some will appreciate the analysis and others prefer the narrative of a "woman president" trumps truth, policy, good will, sense, and so on.
I cover liars and care not for their politics. If a Republican is elected and lies, I will cover it.

The truth trumps the narrative.

Thanks again,

Peter

PS:

I have a marvelous email analysis coming up that people seem to appreciate the "every day" aspect of analysis.

Peter, if you wrote that to me, thank you. I like all analysis but I love the ones that are short and easy to understand and are of a personal touch and would like to learn to analyze emails. I read the Secret Life of Pronouns and do understand the difference in interpreting statistics. Regarding the topic of rape, I have read your work on victim's language. I did not know the statistics of Sweden and searched and found this: http://100percentfedup.com/shocking-video-new-rape-clinic-men-opens-sweden-muslim-asylum-seekers-raping-swedish-citizens-alarming-rate/# Can you comment on this?

“We are happy that we now can finally open the first rape clinic for men following the rape clinic for women,” Rasmus Jonlund, a press spokesperson for the Liberal Party, which led the campaign for the department in the Swedish capital, told The Local just ahead of the launch.

“It is the first in Sweden (…) We think it is the first in the world. We haven’t found another from our research on the world wide web,” he added.

Muslim men having '20 children each' because of polygamy, peer claims - Telegraph

Muslim men in some communities are having up to 20 children each because of polygomy and the rise of "religiously sanctioned gender discrimination" under Sharia Law, peers have warned.

Baroness Cox, a cross-bench peer, highlighted a series of "shocking" examples of the impact of Sharia law on Muslim women in Britain as she called for them to be given greater protection under equality legislation.

She disclosed one case in which a 63-year-old man tried to divorce his 23-year-old wife and arrange her marriage to a Pakistani man who needed a visa.

He asked a gynaecologist to "repair the hymen" of his wife so she could remarry, and stood to make £10,000 "for effecting the arrangement".

"Such shocking cases surely cannot be allowed to continue," she said. "The rights of Muslim women and the rule of law in our land must be upheld."

In other examples, Baroness Cox revealed that Muslim men divorce their wives by simply saying or writing "I divorce you" three times.

She added: "My Muslim friends tell me that in some communities with high polygamy and divorce rates, men may have up to 20 children each.

Clearly, youngsters growing up in dysfunctional families may be vulnerable to extremism and demography may affect democracy."

She put forward proposals to close a loophole in the Equality Act which she said enables Sharia courts to practice sexual discrimination.

Baroness Deech, another cross-bench peer, supported the bill and said: "We must not tolerate the sweeping of violence against women or children under the carpet by any religion in the name of faith."

Labour's Baroness Donaghy, a former chair of the arbitration service Acas, also backing the Bill, said it was not that long ago that women were unequal before the law.

"We cannot afford to go backwards and tolerate a situation where any woman is living in fear and isolation.

"More needs to be done. This is not confined to Sharia law or Muslim religion. These parallel laws which discriminate against women have existed and may still exist in other religions."

Lord Green of Deddington, chairman of MigrationWatch, said Britain was entirely different to Muslim countries, adding: "Those who come must accept that."

The independent crossbench peer said: "We must be prepared to insist that there can be only one law.

"We must get away from what I call the Rotherham complex where the authorities were so afraid of offending a minority community that they turned a blind eye to the appalling abuse of young mainly British girls."

Lord Faulks, the justice minister, highlighted a government review of the operation of Sharia Councils but said that new laws were not needed as there are already protections in common law and existing legislation.

Anonymous,

why mention "Westboro"?

They are a tiny, insignificant group of narcissists who seek publicity and get it. I cannot think of a group so tiny that receives so much press.

There may be more Elvis sighter claimants than members of the Westboro Baptist Church who receive more press coverage than others who commit far more criminal and hateful acts, such as the butchers of Planned Parenthood, who slaughter more black children and make profits in body part selling, than a handful of idiots with insulting signs, who apparently, haven't killed anyone.

I wonder if you would mind answering my question, above.

You may understand why I ask, when I put a new post out.

Thank you,

Peter

Statistics and the delete button are great tools for manipulation of any conversation. I am not a chicken, I am being serially deleted. I did not mention the Holocaust, much less deny it, ABB, though it's interesting to see how a false assumption is created and the. allowed to stand by a forum of truth seekers.

What a happy band of pilgrims form - what's the motto - 'Hang the Extremists' ? :). Have a good evening.
