Report: Tecia Stauch arrested on suspicion of murder of 11 year old Gannon Stauch

She indicated that she had, in the least, harmed him psychologically.

At least she's been arrested. That's a huge relief for many! At the very least, she'll have to get an attorney. At the very best, she'll be safer in jail than out.
Her teenage daughter must be devastated. Her step daughter must feel fear knowing what she is accused of, too.
Maybe it will warm up and they can find him.
It's safe to assume they've reviewed all the cameras nearby and ruled out his walking away. Even though he held the key.
Police are on the right path from the start here focused on step Mom. Hoping she will bend under pressure and tell the world where Gannon is so he can rest.
She made statements about blood and bandaging him up. She must have known that blood was found in her house belonging to Ganon for her to make that statement or she was probably questioned about the blood found.
She is extremely nervous about Gannon and their relationship. Filming her argument with Gannon was a weird way of trying to protect herself and yet it does the opposite. The video shows she is abusive and putting all the blame on Gannon, Gannon is a child and it was not his burden to carry.
Any time there's a house with humans in it, especially those under 5 feet tall, there's likely to be blood, vomit, stuff from sneezes, urine, feces, etc. A small cut doesn't let that much blood. If it were a huge puddle, she would have been arrested much earlier.
It could be that blood was on the carpet and then a candle fell over.
Such a sad life for Gannon and his sister from the time they were conceived.
Hopefully, others will learn from the tragedy and be more mindful of who the child is friends with, their locations, any medical issues when over at their house, etc.
You'd think a Queen Bee mom would delegate the picking up at the airport to the teen daughter while she set up command post and started looking for the child or visa versa...giving others the locations of his friends, hangouts, etc.Surely the teen had friends with cars they could all jump in and ride around a while. Or, the best scenario would be to call him and tell him to rent a car and she'd meet up with him later. That would be the most efficient method.
At least she is in South Carolina where her friends and family are to support her while she goes through the process of incarceration. If she's not guilty, others may think twice before caring for the children of others.
It was easy to see her online support team was merely a hoax by the way they attacked her. Likely set up to set up.

Interesting regarding the "online support team". I was going to say the way we treat one another in our world today is why I believe we see so many missing and harmed children. In this country we seem too eager to bend under stress, action items, and gas lighting. These tactics work well for the short term it seems but in the longer term we have poisoned the relationships we have with one another and our community. With no support and no trust we don't have any kind of solid foundation to build on.

The stepmother of a missing 11-year-old Colorado boy was charged with his murder Monday and authorities are now looking for the boy's body.
Deputies began looking for Gannon Stauch five weeks ago when he was reported missing from his home in Colorado Springs. His stepmother, Letecia Stauch told deputies he ran away from home Jan. 27. Authorities say she was the last person who saw him.
Letecia Stauch was arrested Monday in Myrtle Beach, S.C. on charges of first-degree murder, child abuse resulting in death, tampering with a body and tampering with physical evidence, authorities said.
“All the evidence points to Gannon’s disappearance being the result of foul play,” FBI agent Dean Phillips told reporters at a news conference to announce the arrest that was aired on Fox 21 Colorado Springs. Reporters weren't told what led to Letecia's arrest.
“This is the worst news and the best news,” Gannon’s biological mother Landra Hiott told the news conference.
“It’s the best news because justice will be served,” she said through tears, adding that Stauch “will pay 100 percent for the heinous thing that she did.”
Shortly after Gannon disappeared, Colorado Springs station KKTV aired an interview with Stauch in which she accused detectives who questioned her about Gannon’s disappearance of violating her constitutional rights.
“During the interview, I asked several times, 'Can I stop the interview, can I get an attorney, can I stop the interview, can I get an attorney,'” Stauch said with her back facing the camera. “I was denied. I was told I couldn’t get nothing to drink, I couldn’t go to the bathroom.”
She said the detectives were twisting what she told them and making her feel uncomfortable.
“So I immediately stopped and felt like an attorney would help me with some of the vocabulary and things like that that I needed help with and understanding some of the things they were asking,” she said.
Stauch also accused the detectives of handcuffing her teenage daughter at gunpoint after a traffic stop

All she (step mom) has to do is tell authorities where Gannon is. She is able to fight all she wants, it is simply wasting time.
Shy, I have to wonder if she even knows where he is after being reportedly looking out the window at the Petco store. It was when she was talking about how Gannon was with the dogs-two CUTE little dogs-that she switched from present tense to past tense.

Step mom lied to the police about when Gannon was last seen. There are surveillance videos that show differently than what she told the police. She thanks the police when Gannon is still missing. There are pages here on Statement Analysis that have led us again and again to step mom (with her own language mainly).
You haven't been here long, I presume. Research Ayla Reynolds. There was enough if her blood in the house the police know she's dead and no one was arrested
I remember Ayla and all the others, perhaps the police and researchers understand from what went wrong in those cases to do differently and ideally better than last time.
In Ayla Reynolds mother was a drug abuser, IIRC. That was the premise for the child being with the father who knew diddly squat about caring for a toddler.
The media and the protesting threateners paved the way for her disappearance to go unsolved. They would prefer the 'Investigative journalists' produce a reality show and humilate all people involved-especially the family since they aren't 'journalists' and aren't perfect examples of human being like they are. Out of site and off to the next one.
It is said that someone uploaded partial nude photos of the real mom of Gannon. Some claim it was the step mom.
There are people who like to look for a sore spot and keep pressing it as a form of torture. These are the people fixated on these reality show fake charity scams that are helping others out.
The father obviously passed the lie detector test and was there really blood where they claimed?
One woman covering today's arrest barely acknowledged her own sons arriving home from school so she could go on for another 25 minutes about the case. What interest does she have in it other than hosting gossip?
That's what they like to do-make the neighborhoods unstable.
Bet her sons are back out the door pilaging the neighbor's houses.
My heart just breaks for Gannon and his parents. I hope the step mom tells where she left him.
And Peter, once again you have proven yourself a gentleman in a world of savages. I noticed how you left the door open for hope that Gannon had perhaps ran away and might be ok even though you could probably see differently.
It's my hope that investigators will "allow" Tecia Stauch to play the victim (as she sees herself in her own mind) and successfully obtain Gannon's whereabouts. A plea deal would go better for her, if she gave his location up. I don't think humanizing Gannon will work with her; she's way too consumed with herself.
To all dating parents with children: If someone has to keep telling you what a wonderful person/parent they are (whether that's verbally, with an onslaught of Facebook/Instagram/Twitter pictures, or both), you can believe they likely are not. Run, do not walk, to the nearest exit. The child you save may be your own.
I should have added, they would only want to make the illness worse so the eventual death would bring more attention to them.
Gannon may have got alone time with his father that she resented and would likely get more in the future judging from the deer head on the wall. I doubt he ever gave her that much attention and most likely she was merely an unpaid babysitter to him anyway.
The bio mom was far too into herself as well if her drug problem became larger than her children. That was likely going on within the family prior to divorce.
The step mom probably freed the children from the environment if only for a short time. Her focus on herself would be justified when claiming she fought for those children in custody battles and all that goes with it. To do all she claimed she's done and to be mistreated for it would make someone cold and indifferent.

Search NPD along with these keywords: control, "put upon child", "golden child", triangulation, gaslighting, "walking on eggshells", "Jekyll and Hyde". Kids are also used as tools to control the parent.
I've heard of people with NPD who become enraged over little things like the spouse didn't open the blinds a half-inch more.
You don't dare disobey a narcissist. They make the rules and only they can break them. They are much more vicious, manipulative, and conniving than you think. I know first-hand and I've researched on victim forums. They are very similar to sociopaths.

I viewed some woman whose conducting her own study from the comfort of her kitchen on how critical thinking is the way to go. To finish off her study, she FEELS compelled to call up the step mom's mother, even once included a 'insider' from the neighborhood who had at least seen Gannon once, and god only knows who she'll host next.
These are the type of narcissits that are always right because they deal with emotions.Give them a good speech and some tears and they are off to save the world.

They believe themselves smarter than everyone else because they use some term that resonates with their audience while trying to convince them they are using their noggin.It's an excuse for their harassment of others. To top it off, there is the need to tell the world what a great mother you are when everyone can see you ignoring the kids when they come home from school in order to make friends that call up, harass others and gossip to contribute to the abuse of others for an agenda, cause, or social justice.
I think one guest even described the neighborhood as a commune. That was her vision of the place it seems.
These are the type of people who would deny others the right to live in their own homes and deny the equal opputunity fair housing act in order to get others to conform.

She also includes the accused mother as a suspect because when hearing the news of the disappearance, she suggested she ask for camera footage from the neighbors between the hours of 10 and 2. That would be common sense. You don't need a criminal justice degree or PI liscense to think that one up.
That could be the photo circulating on media where a woman that looks like the step mom is seen with a cell phone pointed at the front door of a house with a camera. Who really knows what date that was taken as the social puppeteering engineers like to rearrange dates and times in order to FOOL us all.
It doesn't take 5 hours to convince others that you-all from your kitchen-broke the news of the arrest and have the inside scoop.

The pictures of Gannon's mom weren't as provocative as letecia made them out to be. She was wearing shorts and a high cut top.
I don't care what she was wearing. Not even interested. It seems to be the norm among their peers to disrespect each other.
The news today is that the father filed for divorce. It would be interesting if her lawyer sued them for back daycare fees to put the total scope of narcissism within the realm of reality.
I'd also like to see the damage she did to the federal agent prison transport. It seems they want to make her look like some mastermind when everyone's already made up their minds she isn't all that smart. They seem to hire hyper hysteria type personell to play off the modern media. Perhaps it makes them look smarter?
No, kids do not go around spontaneously bleeding. They get an occasional cut or bloody nose. Her behavior is deceitful and she knows much more than she is saying. The poor child is dead and she knows it.
