Questions that I know they didnt have the answers for because they didnt do the work they simply just ordered everyone else to do it and took credit.

I often would get excited that they would finally be seen as incompetant like they really are...

But alas...

Instead, time and again I have listened to them talk around and around. Never answer the question at hand yet leave the "audience" impressed and they would move on to the next agenda.

I always find it so interesting how in all the BS I feel like I am the only one in the room that noticed the question was never answered.

These same people get awards for excellent work and high raises for being top performers. All because they can talk in circles?

I always recognized it, but I am more aware of it now with statement analysis.

Shelleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-32020334941449712912013-01-31T22:18:00.954-05:002013-01-31T22:18:00.954-05:00Interesting to read about the Police Academy Instr...Interesting to read about the Police Academy Instructor. That is what is called "embellishing" on the resume. In my previous position, I would interview candidates and this was something that was found quite often on a candidate's resume. In prepping for the interview, I would review the resume, application, and other paperwork in the package. I'd think, wow, this person looks great! But then the interview would take place and immediately the fabulous experience listed would be eliminated due to "embellishing".

Unfortunately, this is more the norm than not. And I didn't have any background in statement analysis at the time so I'm sure I missed more !BostonLadyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08833888944249432880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-47548843082069552052013-01-31T18:33:17.648-05:002013-01-31T18:33:17.648-05:00At least half of Oprah is behind the tree!LOLAt least half of Oprah is behind the tree!LOLAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
