How is a college responsible for the actions of its students on their personal time? How is a college to prevent them from behaving however they like anywhere outside of a classroom? It's time to lay the blame and the responsibility squarely in the lap of the molesters - not the colleges. UW-Madison police continue to investigate...Update:

UW-Madison police continue to investigate reported sexual assault

The victim of an alleged sexual assault near Memorial Union on Friday night is not a UW-Madison student and did not initiate the reporting of the crime, police said.

Instead, the woman, who is in her early 20s, was approached by a campus police officer who saw her sitting on a curb near the Alumni House, 650 N. Lake St., about 10:45 p.m. Friday. She appeared to be upset.

“The officer involved found her and looked and realized she may be a person who needed help,” UW-Madison police spokesman Marc Lovicott said Monday.

Lovicott declined to say where the woman was from. She was on campus for the weekend visiting friends, he said.

The woman told police that three strangers held her down at knife point and assaulted her sometime between 10 p.m. and 10:40 p.m. near Memorial Union, 800 Langdon St. She was unable to describe the men or the location in greater detail to the officer on Friday or to police since then, Lovicott said.

It’s also not clear to police how many of the three men allegedly raped the victim.

“She’s been reluctant” to say much, Lovicott said.

Lovicott said officers continue to follow leads, talking to acquaintances of the victim and looking through security camera footage from the area.

“We scoured a lot of the area already,” he said. “There was not a lot of information that was able to be conveyed to us (by the victim). We don’t even have descriptions (of the assailants). The location is also very vague.”

UW-Madison police continue to ask anyone with information to contact them at 608-264-2677. People who were in the Memorial Union area about the time of the incident Friday who noticed anything that seemed out of the ordinary also are encouraged to call, he said.

http://host.madison.com/wsj/news/local/crime-and-courts/uw-madison-police-continue-to-investigate-reported-sexual-assault/article_3061d918-4894-5f9e-8721-66e29119e26a.htmlJohn Mc Gowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00430624388902099338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-33803252876578626712016-04-12T05:15:16.749-04:002016-04-12T05:15:16.749-04:00Woman charged over murder of toddler Sanaya Sahib

Combine the "3" and the fact she can't give any identifying info on her attackers is what makes this attack sound unlikely. However, there's no evidence that any assault took place at this point.
April 10, 2016 at 11:01 PM

This echoes much in truth.

The number three must not be over thought. It is just something we notice; nothing more or less, when one seems to need to choose a number.

After that, much in sexual abuse cases comes in the cloud of passivity, guilt (whether appropriate or not) and even through the lens of PTSD and disassociation.

Having said that, the lack of any identification could be a signal of deception, or, given modern media, it could be code for the "language police" who will not allow such identification lest it harm their narrative.

She could be a real victim where the "report" is not reported due to race or religion of suspects (Islam), or it could she is deceptive.

There is not enough to discern.

Peter Statement Analysis Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13607372649929274491noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-78593538860790155452016-04-11T09:40:36.515-04:002016-04-11T09:40:36.515-04:00Hi Tania,

Police hunting ‘shoeless drunk’ who snatched ...OT:

Police hunting ‘shoeless drunk’ who snatched ‘angel’ baby
Police are searching for the shoeless man who allegedly snatched 15-month-old Sanaya Shaib from her pram before murdering her.

The little girl’s body was found in a creek in Heidelberg West at 2.45am yesterday, nearly 17 hours after her mother Sofina Nikat, 22, reported a “shoeless stranger smelling of alcohol” had abducted Sanaya.

Nikat said she was pushing Sanaya’s pram in Olympic Park, a popular area in Melbourne’s North-East when the man – described as being of African appearance, between 20-30, 6ft tall and dressed in all black – approached and snatched the baby, described by Nikat’s brokther Habib Ali as “an angel”

“She was a very cute, a very good little girl,” Ali told the Herald Sun. “Her mother is devastated. It’s very frightening.”

Nikat said she chased her baby’s abductor for a while, but couldn’t catch him so returned to her home with her empty pram to contact authorities.

Police visited Nikat’s nearby home yesterday, searching for clues to the little girl’s death. Detectives went through rubbish and searched the home, and are attempting to get access to the CCTV footage of a number of homes in the area that might provide information about what happened.

They also searched the home of Nikat’s brother.

Nikat was escorted away in an unmarked police car but police stressed she wasn’t being arrested but removed for “welfare purposes”.

Police say the only confirmed suspect was the alleged abductor, but said police were keeping an open mind.

Detective Senior Sergeant Stuart Bailey said local parents should be extra vigilant.

“This is obviously extremely concerning for Victoria Police if this is a random abduction,” he said.
“We think it’s completely random at this point in time.

“We need to be careful and alert, given what’s taken place at this present time.”

http://www.aww.com.au/latest-news/news-stories/police-hunting-shoeless-drunk-who-snatched-angel-baby-26456?adbsc=social_20160410_60364716&adbid=10153722272813621&adbpl=fb&adbpr=349591763620John Mc Gowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00430624388902099338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-37274968148174012502016-04-11T06:11:21.313-04:002016-04-11T06:11:21.313-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.John Mc Gowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00430624388902099338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-68180649607860076092016-04-11T00:48:36.505-04:002016-04-11T00:48:36.505-04:00THUMBS UP!THUMBS UP!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-46079350240558488592016-04-11T00:47:36.198-04:002016-04-11T00:47:36.198-04:00Jude, you're good at this SA stuff. Jude, you're good at this SA stuff. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7164794708270892518.post-11347035982306979972016-04-10T23:56:06.570-04:002016-04-10T23:56:06.570-04:00To avoid confusion - my definition of rape:
