Sidney and Tammy Moorer are both in custody at this hour.
Both were arrested in connection with the disappearance of Heather Elvis, based upon analysis of previously obtained surveillance tape.
Tammy Caison Moorer:
Enough is enough and today this family will start filing charges against everyone we possibly can. I will no longer feel sorry for you or let ignorance be your excuse. With that being said, we do NOT owe this to any of you, but here are the FACTS! Sidney cooperated with HCPD from the second he was contacted. He spoke with them on the phone, and voluntarily went over to the offices in Conway to speak with detectives in person. That same day I allowed HCPD to come inside our home to take a look around. They also asked to look through our Mickey camper and I granted them permission. In addition, three search warrants were also served. One for telephones, one for surveillance, and one for our vehicle. Both the Moorer house and Caison house were looked at during this time.
Most people say "my home" unless they feel a need to 'share' which could be anything from having someone else staying there to an impending divorce and much in-between.
Please note that she does not issue a denial of having involvement and/or knowledge into Heather's disappearance.

She states the houses were "looked at" -- NOT searched.
So, was a search warrant issued for the homes ?
Also states 3 warrants -- 3 liar's number.

And she says both the Moorer and Caison homes were looked at. To me it seems the 'Caison home' is sensitive because it was offered as extra information. I think they are looking for someTHING specific. If Heather were ever IN that home I don't believe she would voluntarily allow them to search.

Could be. But these people are Disney FREAKS. When she says "Mickey camper," she literally means a Mickey Mouse-themed camper. They are so strange...
Indications are that Chelsea Hoffman has rushed to the jail to bail out her friend Tammy.

ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to post my theory on this case, but I've been too busy. I believe that the Moorer's two week vaca precipitated Heather's disappearance. As we have all discussed regarding Leanne Bearden, a lengthy vacation with someone can be a 'make it or break it' experience. Even just a week or two in close quarters with someone can force issues to a head. In the case of the Moorer's, I believe the vacation spawned a renewed commitment to each other, and in turn a plan to eliminate Heather.
The most obvious motive would be if Heather was pregnant, or had hinted that she could be (according to TM, Heather sent the text to Sidney with just a ".")..since that knowledge could leave their 'reunion' in jeopardy. The idea of spending the rest of their lives together with a living reminder of Sidney's infidelity walking around, could have been too much for TM to swallow. (whether that reminder was a shared baby, or simply Heather herself)
I believe that Sidney likely lured Heather out of the house with his phone call(s). Whether he told her he was leaving his wife, or staying with her, Sidney and Heather had a reason to meet up and talk. When Heather showed up to their meeting spot she was ambushed. I believe TM was likely present, and played an active role in the attack. Her anger toward Heather is seething, and she seems to need to have the 'last word', so I can't imagine she would sit home and allow someone else to take her revenge.
What have they been charged with? Anyone know?

DeleteAt some point Sidney was a 'maintenance' type of worker at the Tilted Kilt where Heather worked. (I think Heather called him a 'repairman' in one of her twitter posts, so not sure if he was employed by TK, or just a contract worker.)
Tammy Moorer ran a booking website for Disney vacations. It was shut down early in the investigation. Not sure if it is back up and running.
Supposedly, he does remodeling. I'm not sure what all she does, though I think she plans Disney vacations for people.
