  1. I don't have a statement to analyze from step father.

Mother does not indicate for guilty knowledge of having harmed Cleo.

Situational neglect (even a moment) happens to all. Mother does not here indicate for chronic neglect.

  3. If step father speaks more (even the latter interview he doesn't talk much), I will post analysis.

  5. What i liked about Behavioural Panel, was, when they differed in their analysis, they talked it through with respect and dignity and had the honour to say when they were wrong. This is how we learn and improve.

  6. I like the Behavior Panel and how they interact so well. Occasionally, their differing observations make me question if it’s a bit too fluid a discipline, but they always bring it together by the end.

I’m still coming to terms with being quite so wrong on this case, as I did suspect one or other parent had knowledge or involvement. I didn’t figure in the possibility of bat-sh*t crazy doll collecting baby stealer.with a made up family, because you don’t, do you? Well, I’ve never heard of one until now.

I still have lots of questions, particularly round whether Cleo was left alone for any time and how the doll collector got access to her, but that might be churlish, given the unlikelihood of such a person being around and also finding an opportunity to take her.

My conclusion is that I should listen better, and I could try being more sympathetic to parents who say their child was taken. And just analyse within my ability, and keep other thoughts to myself. Also, I think I don’t get Australians, there’s maybe something minimalist about how they react, but I can’t really say that on just the strength of a couple of cases.

  8. No, John - I’m just trying to redeem myself - it’s a futile enterprise.

Mother pleads for safe return of 14-year-old daughter Jashyah Moore in East Orange

    Snipped:

Jamie Moore says that her daughter's disappearance is completely out of character.

"She, Jashyah, is a smart girl and I can't reiterate that enough," she said. "She would not stay out, she would not go out, go off with anyone. She's a homebody, she plays video games, she likes to cook, she plays with her little brother, he's like her best friend. I cannot imagine what she might be going through, just being away from us for this long, away from her family who loves her very much."

The Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura's Crime Stoppers Program also is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the location and safe return of Jashyah.

"If anybody knows anything, please, please come forward," Jamie Moore said. "My baby is going to high school. She's a good girl. Please, please."
