On October 16, 2014, at approximately 1802 hours, I responded to 8509 82nd St SW #5-301 in Lakewood, Washington, with several other Lakewood police officers for a reported accidental shooting. Initially, we were advised a person had accidentally shot himself with a rifle. However, we were updated while en route to the location that a female had possibly been shot by her husband.

20-year-old Skyler Nemetz, an infantry Soldier stationed at Fort Lewis Washington Skyler had just returned home from a three-week training operation, but just hours after being reunited with his 19-year-old wife Danielle, her deceased body was discovered by police.
In the couple’s Lakewood apartment Skyler would claim that Danielle had lost her life to what amounted to a tragic accident but had it really been an accident or had something much more sinister occurred?
I remember this case from way back when. Tania (My good friend, Hobs, god rest her beautiful soul) and I read your initial Analysis and we were hooked from there on in SA.

What a sad thing to read. I haven't been here for a long time. I started to read Peter's book again and study some more SA and thought I go look here, to read this sad comment. I loved her comments. Sorry for your loss. She was a great soul for what I read from her, I remember from years ago.
