We move past the one month point of waiting for news of the remains found in Scurry County, should we expect news this week?
Are the two known Persons of Interest to expect arrest warrants sworn out this week?
Will arrests coincide with the announcement of the identity of the remains, or will there only be the single announcement to the press?
Yesterday, Person of Interest and mother of Hailey Dunn, Billie Jean Dunn went on a blog talk radio show which lost contact shortly after introducing her. She was on a show that talked about exploited children. Later she posted a picture of herself reporting that her son, David, bought her a dress.
Locals report that Shawn Adkins came from New Mexico to Texas but has not spoken out since last month's announcement.

Thank you Bostonlady! I am a bit tired of the double standard! Men are with women half of their age all of the time and there was not a huge age difference between BD and SA as you so eloquently pointed out.

There were instances, I too questioned whether or not local LE approched and/or proceeded in this investigation with truth and integrity and, most important, the expertise necessary in handling such a cumbersome case. A case where a child's life is dependant upon their overall professionalism.
As in any profession,there is prevalance of corruption.
May justice prevail in this case.

i searched for "statement analysis" in the search field on the main page and found a few interesting reads. its something that takes a long time to study and digest. even if you read things once or twice. down the road, re-read them again. more and more will sink in and digest and you will make more connections in your brain about statement analysis
I think we have all seen some "females" in court with the bleached blonde hair about half way down with a few inches of very dark new growth hair. I believe that will be Billie a few months down the road... She will walk into court cuffed and will have the Bleached/Dark per walk!!! That is going to be enough to kill her right there :) :) Can ya'll picture what I'm saying??

I looked at the site of Mark McClish. He says "The presence of the word "pager," "phone," "telephone" or "cell phone" in a story is an indication of deception. It usually means the person is tied to the crime scene. It is true that most people do make phone calls throughout the day. If we asked them to tell us everything they did, they may tell us about making a telephone call or receiving a call. However, they will do more than just mention it. They may tell us whom they called, what they talked about, or how long the call lasted."
Peter, do you subscribe to this principle about the cell phone because BJD's account of what happened on Monday & Tuesday is full of usage of her cell phone. That would tie her to the scene of the crime according to what Mark McClish says. ??

The more I look at the above BJD photo, I think of the old saying "a picture says a thousand words." . She certainly has the sexy yummy mummy thing going on, albeit, in a white -trash kind of way. Poor lil thing, her sweet baby boy bought mommy a new dress to cheer her up. Just a decent, hard-working family that has suffered the loss of their beloved daughter. Oh wait, that's not this photo

there are lots and lots of articles on principle. You can even type in "101" to get some, but also search on some famous cases.
Although it would be best to get an answer from Mark McClish directly, I believe what he is saying is not simply that phone = deception, but when we analyze a statement, we include all names used, including pets. We also include "phone" under "Names" because phones do not call people, people call people.
He is, I believe, asking one to consider if the phone will tie the subject to the crime scene. His rationale is the same as Kaaryn's description of "marbles."
The subject is speaking and may be thinking of the crime scene and may be linguistically tying himself to it.
"Phone" doesn't simply mean deception, but he is asking the reader to consider why it was important for the subject to use "phone" in the statement
We also note any change of language where a phone might become a cellphone, or a call, etc.

Just a comment regarding BJD photo and dress bought? by son David. If photo was taken in a dressing room like teens do. Does NOT mean the dress was actually bought, but just tried on, photo taken. Many teens or people similar in maturity to BJD do that or try on numerous items and post on FB or wherever - a bit of deception :) I will only believe it was actually bought IF I see her in the dress somewhere else.
While I am surely not an expert on shower curtains, lol. I have a shower Curtin just like that in my guest Bath. I am pretty sure it was taken in someone’s bathroom.
Also I keep reading the BD has been taking trips? Who is paying for these trips? Are these trips out of the U.S.?

My comment on drug and alcohol related weight loss was pretty general, I realize. I was a nurse in a busy urban hospital so I have seen the effects they have on human bodies.
Late stage alcoholism causes weight loss because the liver damage prevents proper metabolism. An abdomen swollen from ascites may make it difficult to take in larger food portions.
Heavy opiate users often lose weight. Think of the stereotypical heroin addict...
Amphetamines. Need I say more?
Anyway, a previous poster noted that BJD wasn't a large person to begin with. People tend to look a whole lot better when they aren't using drugs. They also look better with GE Soft White bulbs casting a romantic glow on them while they pose in the bathroom mirror. LOL
not all mirrors give a true reflection. cheap mirrors usually make one look thinner.

If you look at the pic of BJD with the masked guy, you see a butterfly tat on the side by the tat Hailey. I think, too, that she took this pic of herself looking into a mirror.
There is confusion on whether or not porn was found in her house. First I heard it reported that there was, and then there wasn't, but I don't know for sure now if the second was "official" or something BJD stated.

Okay, I concede, this could be a camera in Billie's hand and a shower curtain in the background. (Still don't see any evidence of a mirror, however). Frankly I hadn't even thought of the possibility that Billie is photographing herself, primarily because a camera lenz can only photograph that which is within its' range.
This is a close up photo of Billie ranging from the top of her head to below her waist line. The camera(?) Billie is holding does not have that much range in height or depth to be able to capture this much of her body within it's tiny range of field. Or does it?

ABC, I don't see why Ladyluck WI wouldn't be suggesting that... BD is solely, and has been for so long, all about "me me me".
I can guarantee that without a doubt she sure as hell won't regret lying or about doing any harm to Hailey. If she did or would, then you'd think she'd have cracked and let the cat out of the bag on what she knows by now... wouldn't she?

BJD is one of the very few people that I've truly ever thought were the devil's daughter/s. She's an ugly person from first the INSIDE to out. She's pure evil.

Anon 1, yes you can get a shot like that with a camera that is on your cell phone standing in the mirror. Not only that most phones have photo shop on them, you can even crop and add effects. People have been posting stupid pictures of themselves in the mirror since MySpace/Facebook has been around, maybe even sooner.

My comments seem immature within the context of the subject. I was contemplating what its like for women.. how our appearances matter much. Like I said in my original post... Ifound something to fix my hair and I feel like a whole new me. Doesn't take much. And yes I was implying that billie would regret the dye job of all things. Fixing my hair made a huge difference in my self esteem so Iwas hoping to pass the experience onto others. I guess Iforgot that off topic conversations are not appropraite. Anyways I gotta say I've been coming here for several years and I think I'm done now. I take responsibility for sounding immature but I know how much of a self esteem boost I experienced and was happy to share. In re-reading my response, perhaps you thought it sarcastic?
When I use sarcasm, I generally don't add an exclamation point (it weakens the sarcasm).
I found your posts sober-minded in a time when people often (foolishly) deny that appearance matters, or that appearance can be used to manipulate.
It comes down to something like this:
When I see a man wearing shorts, sneakers, and a Knicks uniform, I think to myself that he likes the sport of basketball.
When I see a man wearing dark blue, with matching pants and shirt, and a gun on his side, and a hat, I think he must be law enforcement.
I am not judged for either.
When I see someone who is dressed to elicit a certain response, there are those who jump in and condemn as "judgmental."
I even used the Scripture where it says "the attire of a harlot" which presupposes that there is clothing that is used for prostitution. This often draws the ire of the post - modernity just as any type of profiling does.
but it comes down to appearance.
If your car broke down in the middle of the night you are saw a man walking towards you who had his pants hanging low and a hoodie blocking his face, you might feel fear.
Yet, if you saw the same man in a suit and tie, you might not have the same level of fear.
This means you "judged" based upon appearance.
Somehow, this is "bad" today.
Discernment is given a bad name today in our dumbing down society.

I am curious.
As to making it sound imminent, I am surprised that we have not had an announcement to this point and repeatedly use phrases such as
"I'm guessing"
"methinks"
and do not have a crystal ball.
If I did, it would be aimed at the Stock Market or the Lottery numbers.
