Sheriff Eddie Virden of the Osage County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) has coordinated the formation of a National BTK Task Force to provide assistance in the long-standing Cynthia Dawn Kinney cold case from 1976, located in Pawhuska. This task force aims to leverage the expertise and resources of law enforcement agencies from Oklahoma, Kansas, and various federal entities.
The collaborative efforts between the multiple agencies involved are anticipated to yield significant progress in resolving not only the Cynthia Kinney case but also in addressing other cold cases that have been revealed during the course of the initial investigation. Initial findings strongly indicate potential links between Dennis Rader, also known as BTK, and additional missing and murdered persons.

Taxi Driver Says Missing Mom Asked Him for Ride Following Riverboat ‘Booze Cruise,’ Spotted on Dry Land
While police continue to search for missing Mississippi woman, Tamia Taylor, a driver says he spotted her on dry land, following a Tennessee riverboat cruise.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Memphis police issued an Urgent City Watch Alert for Taylor, who reportedly joined friends on the Island Queen Booze Cruise in Memphis at 11:30 p.m. Saturday. When the cruise ended early Sunday morning and the boat docked, there was no sign of Taylor.
Taylor’s mother told FOX13 that her daughter arrived in Memphis Saturday night for her 21st birthday. She planned to celebrate with friends and then went on the riverboat cruise on Beale Street.
Now, police say a security camera captured Taylor standing on the dock of the riverboat following the cruise, while a golf cart taxi driver said he saw her with friends, adding that she appeared drunk.
“She was intoxicated, very intoxicated, and she was with some other people,” driver Jay Munn told Fox 13. “Everybody seemed happy. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.”
Munn said he spotted Taylor with a man and two women but couldn’t give them a ride because he already picked up other passengers. He later headed back to the riverboat area and asked Taylor’s group, who were on Riverside Drive, if they still needed a ride, but they declined.
“I’m like, ‘Hey, do you guys need a ride?’” Munn said. “They were like, ‘No, we’re good, we’re straight.’ From that point, I just went on and found somebody else that needed a ride.”
Debra said earlier this week that Taylor’s friends have not provided any explanations for what happened.
“I said, ‘What do you mean you don’t know?’ She [Taylor’s friend] said, ‘We don’t know. We lost her.’ How do you lose somebody that you came with?’”
“She then gave me the story, ‘We were on the boat. We were getting out of the boat and Tamia says she had to go to the bathroom. She put her phone down to go back up to the second floor to use the bathroom. We picked up her phone. We went to the door to stand and wait on her and then we left.’”

The allegations of what allegedly happened are beginning to surface.

Four women have made allegations against Brand pertaining to a period between 2006 and 2013, whilst he was employed by the BBC, Channel 4, and acting in Hollywood films.
One of the alleged victims was just 16-years-old at the time.
Most of the women making the allegations against Brand have chosen to remain anonymous, but one accused the comedian and YouTuber of raping her at his Los Angeles home, before she reportedly visited a rape crisis centre that same day.
Another alleges that Brand assaulted her when she was 16 years old and he was 31.
A third says that Brand – now 48 – sexually assaulted her whilst she was working for him and that he threatened legal action if she told anyone about the allegations.
The fourth woman said that as well as sexually abusing her, Brand was also emotionally and physically abusive towards her.

The New York Democratic congressman Jamaal Bowman denied that he pulled a fire alarm in a Capitol office building to delay a vote on the stopgap measure that ultimately stopped a government shutdown.
In a statement on Saturday evening, the New Yorker said he mistakenly thought the alarm, which prompted the Cannon House office building to be evacuated, would open a door.
“Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today was not open. I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door,” said Bowman.
“I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.”
He dismissed accusations from Republicans that he pulled the alarm in an attempt to delay the vote.
“I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay any vote. It was the exact opposite – I was trying to urgently get a vote, which I ultimately did and joined my colleagues in a bipartisan effort to keep our government open,” he said.
The 45-day funding resolution, which Bowman and all Democrats bar one voted for, passed with a 335-91. It then passed the Senate.
Bowman said that he met the sergeant at arms and the Capitol police at their request, and explained what had happened.
Among Republicans, the House speaker, Kevin McCarthy, compared Bowman’s actions with those of the January 6 rioters.
“I was really appalled watching Democrats’ actions today, to delay it, to get a shutdown,” said McCarthy, amid Democratic complaints that they did not have sufficient time to review the bill Republicans released last-minute in an attempt to avoid a shutdown.
“That’s a new low,” he said, adding: “We watched how people have been treated if they’ve done something wrong in this Capitol. It would be interesting to see how he is treated and what he was trying to obstruct when it came to the American public.”

It’s just one of those things we’ve all learned since kindergarten. Unless he was entirely homeschooled and really out of the loop his entire life and also is unable to read, he most definitely knew he was pulling a fire alarm.
Knowingly causing a false alarm of fire is a misdemeanor in the District of Columbia Criminal Code (Section 22-1319), punishable by fine and/or imprisonment up to six months, and a violation of the Georgetown University Code of Student Conduct (Code).

Only later did my dad realize he was talking about the ayatollah. A dramatic 911 call has captured the moments staff scrambled to save the life of Barack Obama’s personal chef before he drowned in the waters off the former president’s Martha’s Vineyard estate.
Tafari Campbell, 45, died back on July 23 when he fell off a paddleboard into the Edgartown Great Pond.
His body was recovered from the water the next morning.
Now, three months on, the 911 call has revealed how Secret Service agents tried to find him in the water that night – but to no avail.
In the audio, a Secret Service agent named Dave is heard telling a dispatcher that a man was “drowning” out the back of the home.
“We have a male drowning in the back of the property now,” he says in the audio, obtained by DailyMail.com.
“We have our rescue swimmers. They’re attempting to go out there right now.”
He tells the dispatcher that a “house guest” fell in the water, prompting frantic rescue efforts from staff.
“Someone came running up to our back post, saying a gentleman, it’s just a guest of the house, is out there drowning,” Dave says.
When asked what emergency services are needed to aid in the rescue, Dave says he is unsure as “they’re not passing information over the radio right now”.
“They didn’t advise right now. I would say at least an ambulance,” he says.
When Dave calls the dispatchers back a few minutes later, it appears the situation has become more dire.
“So our rescue swimmers aren’t able to locate the gentleman that was reported drowning,” Dave says.
“They’re out in the water right now but as of now they don’t know where he is.”
The former president is believed to have arrived on the scene minutes after the 911 calls were made.
Sonar technology was used to Campbell’s body the next morning about 100 feet from the shore and eight feet underwater in the pond, a large coastal pool connected to the Atlantic.
