Davey was interviewed for parts 1 and 2 of this podcast. At the.26:00 mark, he discusses Amanda's murder. He says the "last" of the 3 shots was to the back of Amanda's head. How did he know that the last shot was the one to the back of her head? Unless he was there...

Part 2 discusses us conspiracists and Davey admits to going down rabbit holes to read online websites about him. He said it really bothers him but Kristi tells him to "consider the source".

In this recent sermon, Davey says he thought Amanda had come out of the shower and got lightheaded because she was pregnant and fallen in the living room. Several things wrong with this:
1) he admits that there were broken lamps, pictures knocked off walls, ladder knocked over and contents of Amanda's purse all over the living room floor. How would she slip and fall and knock lamps on one side of the room over and a ladder on the other side of the room over simultaneously ( in addition to pictures on the walls
2) Nobody and no report has ever said her hair was wet or the floor was wet. Why would he have thought she was showering? and
3) The shower is not right next to the living room - she would have had to go out her bedroom, walk through the kitchen, and then get light-headed and start breaking furniture

Looks like Larry Taylor's murder trial has been delayed yet again - 5+ years and counting. Does anyone think this is insane? I said years ago on this board that the judge was well known for his incompetence and laziness, and yet 5+ years later the state of Indiana still has the same lazy judge assigned to Amanda's murder case. Does no one in Amanda's family care? When years go by with no trial, evidence magically disappears and witness testimony gets forgotten, not good for a conviction.

This case should be on national news pointing out the total incompetence of the Indiana legal system.

Bah, no one cares.

BTW, Gordon and Watson are still awaiting their sentencing for their burglary plea deals. Looks like all three cases have been delayed indefinitely. By the time Gordon and Watson are sentenced they will have served their time and perhaps they may even have served more time than their sentence (usually burglary averages 7 years).

Again, no one cares. Especially Davey.

- Part 1 of 3 -

Partial transcript of this podcast -
https://www.radio.com/podcasts/the-radio-theology-podcast-30361/nothing-is-wasted-318864546

start at 25:30 into it -

. . . um and then, November of 2015 is when our entire life, completely changed.

And um, uh, it was November 10th, uh, EARLY in the morning, I came back from the gym and I walked in to find Amanda face down uh, in a pool of blood in our living room, and um, you know we can talk a lot about what happened in that moment, but it was just an extremely extremely, obviously traumatic moment and I found out later, once we got to the hospital, kind of the details that the cops, the investigators, the doctors were piecing together for me that while I was away at the gym um, there were three men that broke into my house and um, Amanda was shot three times, and uh, the last time was through the back of her head and um, they, they said that there was a bullet lodged behind her eye . . .when I was there with them in the hospital as they were explaining this to me, and they had her back, um, obviously unconscious nonresponsive, but still, still alive and still breathing um, and they said that we’re gonna to try to operate if the swel- swelling in the brain will go down - but um, it doesn’t look very, doesn’t look good.

And you know Daron, you just (clears throat), like moments like that, like, there’s no way to describe them, they’re you just, ih, it’s, you’re lookin’ back on it now you can, you can kind of, like piece some things together and see some things that you didn’t see in that moment but it’s so traumatic and it’s so, it’s so surreal ih-, to be sitting in that moment an- an- an- wrestling with this, I never saw anything like this coming into our lives, and, and God what, what’s the deal . . . .

There's no way that "cops, investigators, doctors" would know at the hospital to tell Davey that THREE guys had broken into his house. Cops and investigators would have no way of knowing the number (or even the genders of the intruders) that soon. Davey is repeating "the story" that was scripted - three guys broke in while I was at the gym.

And he didn't get that from cops, investigators, doctors piecing that information together for him - anyone would know that was a home invasion as soon as they walked in - and Davey is fooling himself if he thinks investigators aren't onto the fact that he left those factoids out of his 911 call.

Doctors would obviously piece together the gunshots immediately - but there's no way Davey DIDN'T know that Amanda had injuries that indicated far more than a miscarriage. Davey has said he had no idea there were bullets but he should have at least known that miscarriages don't cause a pool of blood and wounds to upper back/shoulder, left bicep and severe trauma to back of head.

But no indication of any of this to 911. IMPD Detective Perkins must've been shocked, for according to the APC he did not find out until he was at the hospital that Amanda "had actually been shot and was unlikely to survive her injuries".

And back to the three guys - IMPD only released that grainy picture of a single individual shuffling along the road, despite all of the very clear footage obtained from all of the doorbell and security cameras from other homeowners on that street. They were "looking for" one guy - not three.

As the poster above noted, the doctors wouldn't know that the last shot was to the back of Amanda's head. No way to know the order. So either Davey was there or someone who WAS there told him, then? He says it as if it's a fact- just as he said that Larry Taylor was the guy who actually pulled the trigger on Amanda - which then later turned out to Larry Taylor being the guy who was ARRESTED for Amanda - big difference. And there's also a big difference in pulling the trigger on someone as opposed to killing someone.

flightfulbird said...

- Part 2 of 3 -

Davey said multiple times that he honestly had no idea anyone had been in his house- that he didn’t know until they got to the hospital that there had been a h-home invasion.

In other appearances he says things didn't look right but that he was taking mental snapshots of things that were out of place so he could tell investigators later.

Why would he anticipate talking to investigators later if he thought Amanda had just gotten lightheaded and fallen (or "collapsed" as he told someone) - if he really thought that nobody had been in his house?

Davey has also said repeatedly in multiple appearances that his first honest thought was that something had gone wrong with the pregnancy, we might’ve just lost the baby right here but if we just get her to the hospital she’ll be ok - and that he had no idea there were bullets.

Miscarriage - really? Then why would he say in more than one appearance that he prayed that God would put brain matter back into Amanda’s head? With her lying face down, he would have seen the severe head trauma as described in the APC - it wasn’t just a bump from a dizzy lightheaded fall from coming out of the bathroom - it was open and obvious if brain matter was exposed / removed.

The many men of God who opened their stages and churches to Davey were literally sitting in disbelief with their hands covering their mouths - as they listened to him say his first honest thought was that something had gone horrifically wrong with uh, the pregnancy. NOBODY but nobody believes this.

And the repeated statement that maybe Amanda was in the shower and got lightheaded and dizzy is a recently-added factoid that would be an explanation for a wet shower - so what was Davey washing off or cleaning in the shower before he called 911 as soon as he could? This goes with his reason for "returning home to shower" - because his clothes weren't in his gym bag.

I'd still like to know what Davey was wearing when IFD Engine 12 showed up - was he still in his training clothes from the gym, if he walked in and found Amanda in the condition she was in - would he take time to shower and change before calling 911 - or after ?

The APC states that David Blackburn called 911 to report his wife “injured and unconscious on the living room floor” - and paramedics of IFD Engine 12 responded. If he had included the pool of blood and multiple wounds, split lip and teeth knocked out and also included "and there are earbuds on the floor, her shirt is pulled up and underwear is off, credit cards scattered around, Swisher Sweets package on kitchen counter, decorative ladder and lamp turned over, evidence of a struggle, someone has been in my house. . . " - IMPD crime scene investigators would've responded as well. They were already either at Alison Becker's house or on the way there - in response to HER 911 call only five minutes before Davey's call - to report a break-in after she arrived home.

And Davey, I still think that when you walked in after lingering on the driveway talking to Kenneth Wagner for so long (and later explaining that you were peering in the window periodically during your chat to see if Weston was awake yet - even though you KNEW he always wakes at 8am on the dot because of BabyWise) - - you were expecting to find Amanda dead and anticipating that you'd be calling for the coroner to pick her up - not calling 911 for help.

It was so scripted - all of the dots were connected right? - if only you had walked in to find your wife dead and not "obviously unconscious nonresponsive, but still, still alive and still breathing um" - then you could've called the coroner and given your pre-rehearsed call to go along with your "it is impossible to communicate the emotions my heart has been forced to process - my wife WAS such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God" press release which was so obviously written in advance.

Davey's statement released to media and posted on social media reporting Amanda's death. . . .

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. —

It’s impossible to communicate all the emotions my heart has been forced to process. My wife was such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God. I have not only lost my ministry partner and support but also my very best friend. There is no way to prepare yourself for circumstances like these. As deeply as I am hurting I am hopeful and confident that good things will come of this. I rest in the truth of Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose.

Thank you for understanding my desire to take these next few days to continue to grieve for Amanda Grace. My focus right now is to let The Lord minister to my heart as I continue to shepherd little Weston’s. I’ll be taking this time to focus on being a great follower of Jesus, dad, family member, and pastor to our growing church.

Amanda made it her life’s calling to love and serve everyone she knew. Even more, she has made it her life’s mission to see as many people as possible come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. I know that in her death and legacy even more people will come to a saving faith in Christ. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt her desire for me would be to continue what we’ve started here in Indy. I hold firm to the belief that God is still good, that He takes our tragedy and turns it into triumph, and that the best truly is yet to come.

-Davey Blackburn

Does ^ ^ THIS ^ ^ sound like Amanda died unexpectedly ?

Davey was speaking of Amanda in the past tense already. Way too soon. It's so smooth and obviously quite carefully-chosen and scripted words. No way this was written in between fitful naps in the ICU with Amanda's life hanging in the balance - in between listening to Pandora radio randomly play "Nothing is Wasted" as family was gathered around Amanda's bed.

This prepared statement for immediate release makes it clear that Davey was very much looking forward to all of the good things that would come from Amanda's violent sudden death - and was trying desperately to justify and explain his demeanor (glee?)

Who can be hopeful and confident that soon - and why the need to convince that he is hurting deeply?

A lion doesn't need to roar- and grieving people don't need to try to convince (multiple times, no less) that they are crushed and devastated.

Yeah the best truly is yet to come, in the form of millions of dollars in life insurance to go along with a new house with a pool- and a new wife and stepdaughter in the future to move into it with Davey and Weston. We know beyond a doubt that Kristi was in Davey's life long before Amanda was beaten and shot three times. And there are multiple conflicting stories- in appearances and blog posts and on podcasts and on Facebook- about how and when they met.

One thing of which Kristi is quite sure is that her stepdad was having regular conversations with the men who killed Amanda "before she and Davey ever like, knew each other". Seriously, what are the chances? Sure it makes for even more dots connected, a cooler more serendipitous story- but why the need to repeatedly emphasize that point?

It's almost like Kristi is saying "nothing to see here, this all happened before I met Davey and it's just a coincidence".

But NOTHING about this murder / execution was coincidental. It was planned to the nth degree - but the more talking, the more the stories don't add up or conflict - and the more the threads are unraveling. Like when Davey said on video that the Levi Lusko video had helped TO PREPARE HIS HEART LEADING UP TO AMANDA'S DEATH - another slip-up - there's no way to know you need to prepare your heart in advance if it's an unexpected tragedy.

flightfulbird said...

It has been five years since Amanda was lifted out of Davey's life - and I seriously doubt that Davey and/or Kristi have been keeping track of their words and stories and various renditions of what has happened and what Davey honestly saw and thought and did that morning. Maybe - but definitely nowhere even close to the extent that many of us have.

In the process of trying to make a better more poignant and dramatic story, Davey has woven a web of tales this past five years that don't add up and a host of stories that he can neither remember nor compare to the others to make sure they agree.

And Davey's stories do not agree - his and Kristi's stories do not agree - and it's SO obvious. Rampant damage control is in progress now - explanations for details that might seem obscure but are actually relevant - in every appearance they make.

Sometimes this board goes silent - but rest assured, we are elsewhere and we are continuing our pursuit of finding the truth about what happened in that house on Sunnyfield in Indy on November 9th and 10th, 2015 and making sure that the information is available to those who need it.

Here's to 2021.

Transcript of Davey's narration of the morning of November 10th from this link

14:48
. . . . on November 10, two thousand fifteen I walked into my greatest nightmare
And I came home, from the gym I had gone early, to the gym and was coming back to shower and I walked across the threshold of the front door and I found, Amanda on our living room floor, face down in a, in a pool of blood
And she was breathing but she was unconscious and I, called 911 as fast as I possibly could and, it felt like it, it felt like it took three hours for them to get the-, to, for them to get there an ih- uh and I realized the-, later it was only three minutes.

15:22
We, they came and, attended to her, and, and while I was, ih- sitting there waiting for them my mind began taking snapshots of all of these things that seemed out of place, you know.
In moments of trauma like that, everything seems to go in fast motion and slow motion all at the same time an, an I remember thinkin’ like, ‘man if we just get her to the hospital an, e-e-everything, everything’s gonna be fine’ like, like (stammering /unintelligible) couldn’t IMAGINE what had gone wrong, what had taken place, but there was things disheveled all over our, our living room an, an lamps that had fallen over and a ladder that had fallen over and her credit cards were strewn out all over the place and ih-, it just didn’t make sense in my mind.

16:00
She was pregnant with our, our second. She was thirteen weeks along. So maybe somethin’ had gone horrifically wrong with the pregnancy, she’d gotten out of the shower and she had, gotten, lightheaded an- and she’d fallen over an- an everything kind of went in disarray a-at that point, I, I, I don’t know, but the next thing I remember is we’re following the paramedics to the hospital and they take us to a waiting room and I’m sitting in a waiting room and I’m, shaking back and forth saying ‘Weston, we’re gonna be ok’, I’m holding him, ‘we’re gonna be ok bud, we’re gonna be ok’ - and I expect them to come back and say ‘hey everything’s fine, it was a big scare but Amanda’s good, she’s stabilized, let’s go back an-, and see her’ an-, an that’s not what happened.

16:38
Doctors and investigators came in and, and they began asking me questions. And when they surmised that I’d, I h-, I didn’t know what had gone on, they- they said Davey she’s got three bullet wounds in her. One is, one is in her arm, one is grazed over her back and one is in, the back of her head.

And i- if if the swelling in the brain goes down we, we’re gonna try to operate but the prognosis is really, really grim.
It seems like that, that your home was broken into and she was, she was shot.

17:11
And I don’t know what came over me in that moment, I’m not sure if it was shock or if it was faith, or if it was some weird combination thereof but I grabbed the doctors’ hands and I began to pray the biggest boldest prayer of faith that I could muster up I said ‘God, this cannot be happening, I mean we’re following after you, a-an-an-an-an I thought that you would protect my family but, if there are people in this hospital that need to come to know you, I pray that you would use this as, as a miracle - would you restore Amanda right now, would you heal her and show people that are maybe trusting in science or trusting in reason or trusting in something other than you, would you, would you show them that, that you are a miracle worker’.

And I had all the faith there was, in the world, in that moment, that God was gonna come through.

And 24 hours later she was pronounced officially deceased. November 11th, two thousand fifteen. Exactly four years to the DAY after we packed the moving van up and moved.

Part one of two -

The link above is not a podcast- WATCH THE VIDEO to see Davey actually onscreen, stammering and spinning his tales of what he honestly saw and thought and did on the morning of November 10th. The transcript is what he said - but WATCHING him say it is solid gold.

This is one of those "picture is worth a thousand words" things- and a VIDEO is worth even more. Davey can't even look at the camera at 16:05 while he's saying that Amanda was maybe lightheaded post-shower wandering and turning over lamps and a ladder and strewing credit cards throughout the living room and everything was in disarray (before collapsing facedown in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to three separate spots).

And he is actually shaking his head "no" at 15:10 in the video while he's saying that he called 911 as fast as he possibly could.

Davey says investigators had to tell him that it seemed that, that his house had been broken into and that Amanda had been shot. He has said multiple times that he had no idea there were bullets- he HAS to say that because if he had any clue that she'd been shot and gave no indication of that to 911 dispatcher then that would be a huge problem.

But it's also a huge problem that Davey was taking mental snapshots of things that were wrong but then gave no indication of home invasion to 911. Everything going in fast motion and slow motion all at the same time doesn't make you blind or unaware that the situation into which you've walked is all wrong and that this was not the handiwork of a lightheaded wife.

And he KEEPS saying this because he is still desperately trying to cover tracks and explain what he didn't say to 911.

flightfulbird said...

Part two of two -

A poster in one of the private chat rooms noted that it would be Davey's decision to discontinue life support- he didn't even give a full day for Jesus to heal Amanda like he did Lazarus. I believe that Amanda was beyond saving before they ever transported her. But with respect to the timing of discontinuing life support- had Davey waited until even the 12th, it would've ruined the "four years to the day that we moved to Indy to plant a church" scenario which was extremely important to him.

And at 17:00, the shaking voice when he talks about the prognosis being grim- he tries desperately like in the totally dry-eyed WTHR interview when the interviewer asked if "Evie" was going to have the dimples and he said I hoped, I hoped. . . yeah, I hoped. He cannot cry so all he can do is make his voice shake and try hard to look sad.

And Davey has invited scrutiny like this, comments like these by continuing to make appearances telling this story.

This Christmas video almost has it all- except for leaving out his prayer that God would put brain matter back into Amanda's um. . . brain right now - and that he could hear Weston cooing softly behind the still-closed, still-untouched door upstairs- and that he prayed for protection for Amanda and Evie that morning but not Weston.

It's all wrapped up in a bright red bow for a jury to see. Show a jury the crime scene photos and then show them this video.

If only Davey could just turn back time and call 911 and say someone has broken in. . . .

Because even though IMPD didn't arrive until medics were carting Amanda from the house (nice that they wouldn't arrive while Amanda was still lying facedown on the living room floor to be able to photograph her)- see if it adds up to a jury after seeing the photographs of the living room that this guy just thought his wife had gotten lightheaded after a shower and collapsed and that no intruder had been in his house.

Show a jury the autopsy photographs including pix of the severe head trauma from a gunshot wound to the back of the head which exposed enough brain matter that Davey prayed that God would put it back into Amanda's head -and see if it adds up to them that Davey thought it was a miscarriage and that Amanda would be fine if they just got her to the hospital, that it was just a big scare but she would be ok.

Here's to 2021.

DW said...

He seems to have deleted the "got up early, spent some time in the Word, prayed for protection of Amanda and Evie" narrative from his latest versions. Probably because it would be hard to explain how he left for the gym but forgot his work clothes (and MacBook, apparently) and conveniently needed to come home to shower on the one day Amanda is executed, if he had in fact been up for hours prior to leaving (late) for the gym.

Anonymous said...

One wonders if baby Weston had his hands in the brain matter that morning.

flightfulbird said...

I wonder if he did. That would account for a wet shower too, if Davey had to clean Weston up before he could call 911 - hence the "I called 911 as soon as I could" scenario, as opposed to "immediately".

He DID say more than once that he walked into his worst nightmare SITTING right in front of him - not LYING face down like Amanda was (someone else on this board and in another discussion forum noted this years ago, credit to them).

Sitting. Right in front of him.

More than one of us has wondered if Weston did creep downstairs at some point and really might've been sitting there - because of Davey's desperate and repeated need to persuade that Weston was still upstairs, still in his crib, still behind the still-closed door, cooing softly, he could hear his soft coos, the door was still untouched.

WHY say all of that so many times in multiple appearances if Weston had stayed upstairs - and there's no way he could know that the door was still closed and still untouched / had not been opened if he wasn't there the whole time.

just before 15:50/15:51 in the above vid (thanks FFB), he's talking about how he couldn't imagine what had gone on, that things were disheveled all over "our roo..our living room". maybe it's nothing...

maybe it's something?

Good review of the story that Davey has forgotten, or needs to change because of having more information, FFB! For the life of me, I can't comprehend how they just let him off the murder. Yes, why does he keep mentioning a shower? And why has it been 5 years and no release of the 911 call? Or trial? He didnt fool any of us for 10 seconds, why are the police and investigators okay with his bs?
Merry Christmas! I miss all of you that spent so much time talking about this case, bringing us new information, and looking for justice! Stay safe and healthy!

Eskanazi for Kristi's physician assistant program ?

As far as when it was, Davey wrote an instagram post on June 12, 2018 talking about a cray two weeks of PA school rotation finals (and talking about how it's crazy how horrific loss can eventually lead you to a place of deeper gratitude than you've ever felt. . . .)

Horrific, as in "my first honest thought was that something had gone horrifically wrong with, uh, the pregnancy" (for Amanda) ?
Oh how much I hope those videos are shown in court, with Davey talking to Levi Lusko and all of those other appearances onstage where he describes what he honestly saw and thought when he walked in.

Horrific loss led to deeper gratitude than Davey and Kristi ever felt. . . sooner rather than later.

Yeah Amanda's death (execution) gave them a whole lot for which to be grateful.

Grateful for millions of dollars in life insurance money that paid for the massive house into which Kristi and Natalia moved with Davey - that paid for new cars and trips/vacations

Grateful for having Amanda out of the picture so they could no longer have to keep their relationship on the down low and Davey wouldn't have to sneak around in Carmel or only see each other at the gym

Grateful that Davey no longer had to be married to someone he clearly loathed, who he ridiculed at every opportunity

Grateful that Davey no longer had to have his internet sites monitored

Nobody will ever believe that Davey bought the Harmonridge property - only four months after Amanda was murdered - intending for it to be a house for just himself and Weston. He already knew who at least two of its inhabitants would be.

Props to wthr staff. Instead of regurgitating the STORYline about November 10, they say:

Let's hope these reporters with cajones don't get silenced.

Tick tock, tick tock Davey + Kristi . . . credit to Watchkeep for posting the above link on Amanda Blackburn Case Facebook page. This gives us new hope because this case was from 2010 ! - ELEVEN YEARS it took to nail the husband for his wife's murder.

From the writeup linked above - a couple of excerpts copied/pasted (in italics) - bold added by flightfulbird.

The criminal complaint is highly detailed, laying out a case built on a story told by the defendant that did not add up forensically, and evidence of a pending home foreclosure and a mountain of debt.

To finally solve this case, Ramsey County Attorney John Choi credited the collaboration between St. Paul police, the FBI, agents from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) and his assistant prosecutors for building the case that made it possible to file charges in Heidi Firkus' death. Choi said it was simply a matter of having enough evidence to make prosecutors feel comfortable that those charges would stick.

credit to . . . . homicide sergeant Niki Sipes, who began working the cold case 18 months ago and brought a "new set of eyes" to the investigation.
"She happened to take a look at this case, some things stuck out to her, she turned over some stones and some pebbles and decided to stay with it," Gaden said of Sipes. "That's why we're here today, because of her tenacity and decision-making and excellent investigative intelligence."

Yeah this case begs for a fresh set of eyes. Someone to care enough to pursue it. Someone who will dig more deeply and who will absolutely find enough evidence to make sure the charges will stick for a victim that never had any justice. Sounds so familiar, the last part (no justice yet).

Just the conflicting stories Davey told onstage should be enough to open the Pandora's box of wonderment - like why is Davey lying about what he honestly saw and thought, why did he leave out certain details in his 911 call. Why did he say he honestly thought it was miscarriage when clearly Amanda was bleeding (lying in a POOL of blood) from three separate gunshot wounds, one that exposed brain matter that he then prayed would be put back into her head (miraculously).

It's not rocket science to realize this guy's stories don't add up, that they make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Cmon Levi Lusko, Kenneth Wagner, Clint Dupin and all of you other supposed men of GOD (including Phil Byars, Amanda's dad and would-have-been grandfather of the unborn baby). None of you believe Davey's version of what happened.

Amber Wilkinson - how can you remain silent ? You do realize that your brother-in-law tweeted his brand name #NOTHING IS WASTED during your sister's celebration of life service, no? That prepared statement to be immediately released on Facebook - that wasn't written in the waiting room of the ICU in between singing and listening to Pandora radio - it was written in advance.

You'd think every time you and your children visit Amanda's gravesite and lay stones and those seriously beautiful flower and greenery arrangements to honor her life, you'd see that NOTHING IS WASTED inscription and feel it just like a slap in the face - seeing it should want to make you take a step further and pursue justice and the truth about what happened to Amanda and her baby - and find out exactly who orchestrated her exit into the party portal of heaven, as Davey likes to call it.

Who STILL hasn't been interviewed?

Amanda's Ghost said...

Witness could be one of the cops that seized a cell phone when Larry was arrested or Teflonzo Bull. Or Davey...

And FFB, savage as usual.

flightfulbird said...

Witness could totally be the IFD Engine 12 EMTs / paramedics who thought they were just arriving to tend to an "injured and unconscious" individual but actually ended up walking into an obvious crime scene - - with three gunshot wounds/severe head trauma and toppled-over furniture and scattered credit cards included.

Davey didn't think this through very well - to have orchestrated it to the nth degree - there are so many loose threads about to unravel.

How is he going to explain why he didn't give any indication of a breakin or h-home invasion, um, in his house ? - when every indication to the IFD Engine 12 team was that Amanda had been assaulted / attacked - and the living room ransacked ?

How is he going to explain minimizing Amanda's injuries, how is he going to explain that his first honest thought was a miscarriage - with all evidence to the contrary - and the EMTs / paramedics would testify about what they saw (honestly saw and thought ? !)

I really want to know ! - did Davey cave, crack under pressure ?

Had he rehearsed the 911 call in the mirror so many times that it was impossible to think and adjust on the fly when he walked in and found that Amanda was "still breathing" ?

I think back to that morning - it was SO important that he be seen on camera at the gym to have his alibi - but it seems that such a serious gym rat would not want to spend more time driving to and from the gym (or changing clothes once at the gym) than he did training.

He could've trained at home and gotten way more training time in, if not for the absolute critical need to be seen AT THE GYM during that exact timeframe.

He could've stayed at the gym and trained longer as well - since he had already gotten a late start leaving Sunnyfield - if not for the absolute critical need for Kenneth Wagner to be on the phone with him and to tweet that he loved his conversations with him.

Why the late start ? What was happening to Amanda while Davey was supposedly putting a good lens on his day by spending time on the couch in the Word and praying for protection for Amanda and "Evie" (but not for Weston?)

Poor Weston, why didn't he need protecting while Davey was praying ?

Was it because something had already happened to Amanda (and "Evie") beforehand ?

Or was it because the orchestration included a specific set of instructions which did not affect or impact a 15-month-old who was upstairs in his crib behind a still-closed completely untouched door?

I still would like to know how Davey knows the door was completely untouched, still closed, and feels such a need in multiple appearances to emphasize that point. Because there's no way in the world he could know for sure, with such certainty, that nobody touched or opened that door while he was at the gym.

He had to call 911 five minutes after Alison Becker did, too - the timing was critical. What if he walked in - and Amanda was still breathing / alive - and he was afraid she'd wake up and tell what she had seen.

What if he was expecting to report a death instead of having to call for medical assistance for a still-living soul ?

I think he choked. And the 911 call will reveal SO MUCH. There's a reason he only wanted the paramedics to show up at the start and not crime scene investigators along with them. Imagine the paramedics having to call in IMPD themselves - and imagine their wondering why THEY had to call it in ?

"In a couple weeks, we’re gonna ha-, we’re gonna hear from this, man this is, this is unbelievably powerful. We’re gonna, we’re gonna hear from this, these two guys who, in Benton Harbor is this crooked cop, who basically forged some police documents to indict, this black guy. And send him to federal prison. He was innocent. And the, the police man, the white police man, forges these documents, send this black man, to federal prison, Jameel is the name of the black man. Andrew’s the name of the white man. Jameel misses the first four years, of his son growing up, and then it turns out, everything comes out, that Andrew, indicted him essentially, so Jameel gets released, Andrew gets put in prison, and then after Andrew gets released from prison, they meet up. We’re bringing them in here to talk, with us."

The witness could be DAVEY !

That would be awesome.

Play videos of Davey's appearances onstage in which he said multiple times that his first honest thought was that something had gone horrifically wrong with uh, the pregnancy . . . that we'd just lost the baby right here but um if we just get her to the hospital she'll be ok. . . .

and THEN play the video where he says he was praying for a miracle, literally he said he was praying that God would put brain matter back into Amanda's, head. . . .

Severe head trauma - brain matter exposed ---> thinking it was a miscarriage? What about the right shoulder/upper back and left bicep gunshot wounds. Oh yeah he covered that - he said he had no idea there were bullets.

But still, a miscarriage doesn't cause bleeding from the right shoulder/upper back and left biceps - or the back of the head.

And then play the ones where he says he had no idea that anyone had been in his house ? - C'mon.

A seven-year-old (or even much younger than that) - seeing the decorative ladder and lamps turned over and credit cards scattered around and Amanda's shirt pulled up and underwear off - would know that Amanda didn't do that to herself. . . .

IFD Engine 12 knew. IMPD who were called to the scene by IFD Engine 12 knew.

Davey says maybe she got lightheaded coming out of the bathroom and fell.

That still doesn't explain strewn credit cards and Swisher Sweets on the counter - the Swisher Sweets that Davey told Detective Perkins did not belong in their residence.

Davey probably never dreamed that this case would stick in the minds of random people all around the globe for this many years - that people would care so much about his (in his words) not-well-read, not well-traveled and not well-to-do, computer-illiterate, Converse and jeans-wearing (instead of cold-shoulder shirt and heels like KRISTI was wearing when she and Amanda met each other at the little cafe, in Davey's dreams) wife and her unborn child.

But hundreds if not thousands of people are following this case, commenting in chat rooms and on Facebook pages and below YouTube videos. And hundreds if not thousands of people know Davey's stories do not add up. Not only do they not add up, they don't even make sense.

More importantly, Davey probably never dreamed that his words from his onstage appearances, stammering and stuttering while he looked like a deer in the headlights wondering what questions would be asked next - would be transcribed and archived and spread far and wide across the internet to live on forever and ever and ever.

Fortunately, those appearances were transcribed. SO many people, as soon as the videos dropped onto the web, literally spent HOURS transcribing word for word, pause for pause, every "um, uh, I-I-I-I h-honestly thought. . . ." so Davey's incriminating words could be available in the future for reference and to build a case - and so they could be shared with the defense attorneys of the ones accused.

Maybe IMPD was onto something by clearing Davey 100%, no, 150% - so he would roam free to talk and talk and appear and spin his web and talk himself into a corner.

Diano Gordon is the witness that will be interviewed, according to the motion to compel. Maybe he can explain why the grainy figure on Sunnyvale looks just like him?

And savage is an understatement for our FFB. There is a private group of us that still discusses this case daily. We are counting the days until justice is served.

DB and his wife on the question - How did you meet for the first time?

DB: Woooof. Laughs. Go for it, Babe. laughs

KB: Man. You know it’s funny because we can look back and we’ve talked a lot about how....uh...leading up to how we met but we met at a gym. But we actually went to...like four (4) different gyms all throughout when we lived in Indiana. And we were at the same gym, at the same time, each time”.

DB: Yeah. It’s super odd to look back.

Tru said...

KB: Yes and so we met at a gym and I mean he says I caught his eye immediately and I saw a Pastor staring at me and I thought that was very non integritous, so I was like, “I will not be talking to that guy”

Later in the interview:

DB: ...but one of the first conversations we had, she shares with me that her step dad was the chaplain for Marion County Prison System and he had been having conversations with the guys who had been arrested for killing Amanda.

——————————

It is interesting that, in this interview, neither of them mention that after coincidentally attending the same four gyms “at the same time, each time” KB showed up to Resonate church “in high heels clutching a bible” week after week, nor how she devoted her time to inner city clean ups with Resonate. DB did not mention KB playing “hard to get” nor that he instructed one of his Resonate minions (Ashley) to ask KB to lunch because DB was interested in her.

All this was 10 short months after Amanda’s murder.

Did DB invite KB to Resonate? - or did she just turn up?

How did Kristi know that the man staring at her, the first time they saw each other, was a pastor?

Did she or did she not recognize Davey from news media?

Questions questions. The story of how those two met is full of holes wide enough to drive a truck through.

I though they met at a Resonate weed pulling event in the inner city? Then the weed pullers all went to lunch and she wouldn't give him the time of day?

Last SEPTEMBER (2016) I watched this gorgeous dark-haired, brown-eyed girl walk through the doors of the Crossfit gym I work out at. She had my attention from the moment I saw her. I thought I was being subtle, but she would tell me later I was being far less discreet than I hoped. ........
I had decided I wouldn’t pursue anything with anyone no matter who it was until after the one year anniversary of Amanda’s death. I knew this is what God put in my heart and I was going to stick to it. In fact I kept my wedding ring on until Nov. 11th, 2016—one year after Amanda’s death. So from September until the beginning of November I just observed this girl. We said maybe a dozen words to each other, mostly cordial hello’s, but things got interesting when she showed up to my church one Sunday in OCTOBER.
For several weeks I tried to “naturally” run into her in the atrium and ask her a bit about herself, you know, in a very pastoral way. Problem is she was so elusive
One day in early NOVEMBER I was working at our bi-weekly clean-up in the inner-city community we serve and this girl showed up. Ok, now she had my attention.
I secretly hoped she wasn’t there because she knew I’d be present and she was trying to get around me. And yet, I wanted to get to know her. So I asked our worship pastor’s wife, Ashley, to round up a bunch of folks for lunch that day and be sure to invite this girl.

One night early in JANUARY I was working intensely on finishing up the first manuscript of the book. I was writing every day from 7am until about 7pm breaking only for lunch. The owner of my Crossfit gym was kind enough to open up the gym for me after hours so I could still get a workout in. So on this particular night I headed to the gym for a little after-hours-WOD. The last class of the evening was finishing up when I arrived there and wouldn’t you know, this girl happened to be in that class.

“Hey!” I said, trying (to no avail) to play it cool. “You’ve been coming to my church for like 4 FOUR months now and I know almost nothing about you!” And of course to keep it pastoral I added, "What’s your story? How did you come to know the Lord?”

K: “.....Obviously I’ve been following your story since it happened considering you guys were friends with my old pastors. Also my good friend is a Physician Assistant and she was on duty on the hallway below you in the hospital the night you were there with Amanda. She texted our whole small group......

The next SEVERAL MONTHS was a game of trying to get around her. I had to see what God was up to. So, naturally, I used my kid to angle some time with her. Much to her hesitation, she and I would coordinate when she was coming to Crossfit and bringing her daughter so that I could bring Weston and they’d have a buddy to play with while we worked out. I wish I could say my motives were altruistic. I really just wanted to be around this girl any moment I could.

On the afternoon of MARCH 3rd, I wound up in a 3-hour long text conversation with this girl........ That night at Crossfit I walked up to her and started in, “Hey, what are you doing on MARCH 31st?”

But on MARCH 31st it wasn't me taking her to the ballet. We had received some wise counsel that it would be a good idea to stay under the table with this developing relationship until after Amanda's trial (which was set for May at this point). So instead of me taking her to the ballet I paid for her and one of our church overseer's wives to go to a nice dinner and the ballet while I took her daughter to Chick-Fil-A and Build-A-Bear. We still tell people this was our "first date."

APRIL 17 - Davey writes a three part blog (Ostensibly to Weston ) How do you know when you’ve found the one?” wherein he discusses his prerequisites in a marriage partner

flightfulbird said...

From all appearances, it looks like Davey and Kristi wanted to no longer have to stay under the table with this relationship and AMANDA was in the way.

Actually, Amanda and an unwanted second child (with Amanda) were in the way.

They were struggling financially but with millions of dollars of life insurance on Amanda. Davey was having to have his internet sites monitored for porn, being accountable to someone. Davey disparaged Amanda from the stage, making it clear that he looked down upon her. Amanda looked absolutely miserable in that train station video on what was supposed to be a romantic trip to Chicago - and she had called him out onstage more than once.

The friction between them, his feelings for her - all of this was clear in the videos - both in their appearances and in their words.

Motives all over the place and it only takes one. No way Davey could move on with Kristi from the gym, only seeing each other at Crossfit, with Amanda alive.

When Davey and Kristi were going public with their previously-hidden relationship, Meg wrote "it's real, it's happening and it's finally time for the world to meet this couple".. I wonder if statement analysis would say that the couple had been a couple for a LONG time before the world could finally meet them.

Davey was preparing to get married to Kristi when he bought the massive Harmonridge property four months after Amanda was lifted out of his life. A really large house for a grieving widower and his then-nineteen-month-old son - - but perfect size to bring in a new wife and her daughter at some point in the future after he had grieved for an appropriate amount of time.

I mean c'mon, the guy left his wedding ring on for A WHOLE YEAR ! - and had to write in his blog that he left it on, in fact.

Just writing that makes him look so bad.

And his dream in the night that Amanda was going to leave him? - might've become a reality had she stayed alive. That's another motive. Because Davey wouldn't have been able to handle the public humiliation of a pastor's wife leaving HIM.

That whole blog post about they met, too, cries of desperation to explain, need to persuade, everything's on the up and up here guys, honestly this is how we met and look what God did - I wasn't looking and neither was Kristi and somehow this just all worked out like it did?

With Amanda removed from the equation?

YKW said...

Yes. Dip left his wedding ring on for a whole year - even though just ten months after Amanda was murdered he was staring at Kristi in the gym in a “ very non integritous” not very subtle, fashion. He creepily continued to “observe this girl” for several months during that year. But it’s ok everyone.

He was wearing his wedding ring.

Too Tru said...

In APRIL of 2017, supposedly before they’d even been on a date, Davey wrote a 3 part blog “how do you know when you’ve found the one”? That particular blog was supposedly future marriage advice for his 2 year old son. But the writing was on the wall. Five months after DB took his wedding ring off, he was planning to get married again.

——————————

When MAY came around and we realized Amanda's trial was going to be delayed yet again, I called the Prosecutor on the case and asked him how it would affect the trial if my relationship status changed in any way. "Not at all." He answered me.

After a few months of dating and as things began to get a little more serious

So in AUGUST we spent a week with Amanda's family in Elkhart, IN and then a week with my family in North Carolina.

By OCTOBER we knew we were ready to commit to marriage.

So last Wednesday night, NOVEMBER 8th I took her back up to that same rooftop penthouse, got down on one knee and asked her to be my wife.

So there it is folks. 2 days before the 2nd anniversary of Amanda’s and her baby’s murder. Follow the CAPS to see the evolution of the affair.

This video is a gold mine ! ! - must watch.

Davey has gone 'round the bend. He just can't stop making guest appearances and talking - and loose lips sink ships for sure.

Keep in mind that Amanda was SHOT three times - gunshots / bullet wounds to the left bicep and right shoulder/upper back - and had sustained severe head trauma (exact words in the APC) from a gunshot / bullet to the back of her head - to the point that in this appearance Davey again states that he prayed that God would restore brain matter back into her head.

BUT - in this most recent appearance, Davey presents to host Michelle (all in the same breath, almost) no fewer than three reasons for Amanda to be lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

Your choices - start watching at 7:00 minutes into the video to have them presented to YOU !

1. we just lost the baby

2. maybe she was coming out of the shower and somethin' happened and she got lightheaded and stumbled

3. there was a ladder turned over beside her, maybe that was the reason for the blood because the ladder had fallen on her as she passed out.

Sadly for Davey, none of the above choices even remotely make sense when you consider the locations and severity of Amanda's injuries / wounds from GUNSHOTS.

Davey also covers yet again - or desperately ATTEMPTS to cover and account for - -

- why he had to return to the house instead of going straight to Starbucks (start watching at 5:43)

- dropping his headphones on the floor (start at 6:08)

- he had no reason whatsoever to suspect that Weston might be in danger (start at 7:49)

- he had no idea anyone had been in his house (start at 7:49)

- credit cards strewn - he actually says he wondered what Amanda was trying to order or buy that morning ! (start at 7:49)

- that paramedics had to tell him to wash his hands before he "grabbed" Weston from his crib upstairs (start at 8:20)

- doctors and investigators questioned him and he thinks they discovered that he had no idea what was going on (start at 9:31)

Transcript to follow, nobody is going to believe this.

Transcript of Kate's video link - part one of two

4:34
Um, but there was something that was kind of uh, that was bothersome a little bit in our spi-, and troublesome in our spirits, we, we felt like we, even though it had been a difficult season planting a church, we felt like we had never experienced anything really deep, as far as pain is concerned, and, um, an an an I think it was because we felt like we, were struggling to connect with some of the people that we were ministering to who had experienced really deep pain, and so it was- we had t-trouble not necessarily just empathizing with them but really connecting with them and helping them through their deep pain and as a p-pastor you have a heart for it, m, Amanda had a heart for it, but we were like -

5:15
- we felt like there was something on the horizon that God was gonna do, to take us and enter it into a really deep season of pain and uh never thought it would be what what this wa- was, um, we kind of had this, like, almost this, this twinge of 'I wonder, are we gonna lose the baby, like, is that what’s gonna happen' - we had been hearing’ about a bunch of miscarriages around us and stuff, and so we kind of got a little bit worried an, you know uh, an an, an- just didn’t imagine what was gonna happen, uh next.

5:43
So November, uh, November tenth, two thousand fifteen, I went, uh, early one mornin', normal Tuesday mornin’ went to the gym, and uh, was frustrated because I had not packed my bag to shower at the gym and then go on to the coffee shop to get started with the day, so I had to go back to the house and when I came back to the house, um and I walked through the front door, I walked into my absolute worst nightmare.

6:08
Um, in front of me there on our living room floor was Amanda, an she was laying, face down in a pool of blood, and uh, you know, there’s nothing that prepares you for a moment like that, um, it’s extremely, extremely traumatic, and in most traumatic moments what tends to happen is things go in fast motion and slow motion all at the same time. And so I remember kind of all of the background fading into this blur, and then my senses acutely focusing in on her, and I dropped my. . . . I mean I can remember all of these little tiny details cause in those really traumat-, I mean you’re just like, everything’s just you know, heightened. .. and so I drop my headphones on the. . . on the floor, I race to her side, I try to turn her over and, notice that she’s still (hesitates) breathing, but she’s unconscious and her breathing is very labored, and, and and it got even more labored as I turned her over so I turned her back over and I grab my phone and I try to dial it as fast as I can, an

7:00
um, y-, there’s, there’s blood all over my hands and so I’m not able to use th-, s-, the swipe screen on my phone and I’m just, kinda freaking out, finally get to where I can dial 911 and I call the paramedics and I’M thinking, that we had just lost the baby. Thinking that there had gone something, like, something had gone horrifically wrong with the pregnancy, maybe she got out of the shower this morning and she kind of, somethin’ happened and she got lightheaded and stumbled, an- there was this ladder that had fallen next to her and so maybe, that was the reason for the blood, the ladder had fallen on her as she passed out and there’s just some, ok

So if we can get her to the hospital, she’s gonna be fine, everything, is gonna, gonna be fine, the WORST is that maybe we lost the baby, right? And uh, paramedics come, uh, it felt like it felt like it took them three hours to get there, it took 'em three minutes Michelle, you know the, the, those kind of moments, and so.

Video transcript part two of two

7:49
Uh, Weston was up in his crib, there was no reason for me to think that he was in danger whatsoever 'cause again, all I’m thinking is 'we lost the baby, we lost the baby’.
Did NOT think that anybody had been in our house, however, as I was waiting for the paramedics (unintelligible), my mind started taking these snapshots of all of these things, around me, that were out of place, this lamp ha-, had fallen um, her credit cards were strewn out all over the ground, I couldn’t, ima—, I’m, I'm like, what in the world would, what was she trying to order or buy, this ear-. . .wha-, why are, ih, like this, it just didn’t make any sense to me and so -

8:20
uh, the paramedics get there, they go 'is there anybody else in the house', I say 'my son’s up in his crib’, and um, and so I run up and I grab him and, um I was just talkin' to Kristi my wife, my, wife now, about this and that didn’t remember, a memory that they had to tell me to go wash my hands, the paramedics were like 'don’t grab him yet, go wash your hands first', you know, 'cause I’m just in this shock.

An- I go up, and I get Weston, and we sit down and he goes, you know, the paramedics come to me and they say ‘what hospital do you want to go to’ and I'm like 'I don’t care what hospital, I just like, I just we, get her, get her to the hospital right now', you know,

8:50
So we follow them to the hospital, we’re sitting in a waiting room, I’ve got Weston on my knee and I’m, kind of bouncing him and shaking and y’know I feel like I’m in this out-of-body experience looking down on myself, but all I'm thinking is ‘she’s gonna be ok, she’s gonna be ok, because we’re- we’re- we’re-, we follow Jesus, and we’re pastors and we were called to this city and, nothing bad’s gonna happen because when you’re following Jesus nothing bad happens, right?’ - there’s this this, lie that I had told myself you know, and this deal that I had with God that was like 'you’re gonna protect us, you’re gonna take care of u-, I moved my family all the way from this comfortable job dream job, an’ we’re, we're like doin the hard work, God, wha-, you know, so this is - everything’s gonna be fine'

9:31
And um, the next thing I know, doctors an- and um, investigators come in and they start asking me questions - and I’m like what in the world, you know. And uh, they asked me some very invasive questions and when they figured out that I had NO idea what was goin' on, they, they looked at me and said 'Davey, um, Amanda’s got three bullet wounds in her. One is in, her arm, and one is grazed over her back and one is in the back of her head. And there’s a bullet lodged behind her eye, and um, uh, we, we don’t know if there's any brain activity going on we’re gonna run some tests and if we can get the swelling in the brain to go down we might be able to operate, but it, it does not look good - um, you need to, you (unintelligible) prepare yourself’.

10:20
And, I don’t know what came over me Michelle, um, I don't know if it was faith or shock or some weird combination thereof but I grabbed the doctors’ hands and I said can we pray, right now. And they kind of look at me weird and I’m like, ‘I, I wanna pray'. And I prayed the biggest boldest prayer of faith that I could muster up. I said ‘God, there are people in this hospital who they are trusting in science rather than trusting in you and if you wanna use our family riot now to demonstrate your miraculous healing touch so that they begin to put their trust in you, I’m asking that you would do that, we are willing to be that vessel for you, um, would you begin to restore brain matter back into Amanda’s, head right now, would you bring her into full healing right now'. And there was this massive, I mean I felt so empowered in that moment, and uh, um, thought that everything w-, was gonna be fine but 24 hours later, test results came back and she was, she was declared officially deceased.

Here is one link (Instagram post from Fathers Day 2018) where Davey says he called his dad ….

I’ll never forget sitting by @amandagblackburn’s side as she was struggling for life on our living room floor and the only person I could think to call was my dad. Though I knew only my Heavenly Father could intervene in that moment, something about hearing my earthly dad’s voice and knowing that he was praying for us while we waited on the paramedics gave us a sense of comfort.

How long did he talk to his dad ?

For three minutes that felt like three hours as he told Michelle in most recent YouTube interview ?

Before or after calling 911 ?

DW said...

Sounds like he wanted some witnesses around when he washed his "bloody" hands so that if blood residue was later found in his bathroom's drain, he could explain it away. I just can't imagine EMT taking time away from an obviously dying woman to tell her husband to go take a spit shower.

And thank you, Kate. I owe you a bottle of Blanton's for always finding these gems.

TRU ! - thank you for the link. Some of the parallels between this former "pastor" and Davey are exactly the same. Motives the same too, some of them.

Both had wives who were pregnant
Both returned from training (Davey was at the gym, Philip Grandine was out running) to "find their wives dead"
Both had their porn / internet habits being monitored - filters in place

Here is what the commentator said on the video (commentary is after the 911 call finishes) -

"In the early stages of the investigation, a homicide squad detective said there wasn’t a single piece of the evidence that led to the arrest, rather it was a culmination of several pieces of evidence

. . . . the amount of evidence piling up against his version of events was alarming. . . . "

This also seems like what is going to happen to Davey and Kristi. Several (way more than several) pieces of evidence combined, piling up - AGAINST HIS / THEIR VERSION OF EVENTS which Dave keeps presenting to us on a silver platter, in podcasts and on video - to transcribe and analyze and compare.

It is alarming to say the least to keep hearing / seeing Davey saying he (honestly) thought that Amanda had simply gotten lightheaded in the shower and fallen and hit her head, that maybe the ladder was the reason for the blood, that they just lost the baby right here but um if we just get her to the hospital she'll be ok. . .

. . . with severe head trauma to the point that there was exposed brain matter, seriously?

=====

The guy in the 911 call on the YouTube video Tru linked was very calm when he was giving the address to the dispatcher - then all of a sudden he turned on the choked tearful voice and hysteria when he told her that his wife was in the bathtub not breathing (as opposed to STILL breathing, like Davey was so surprised to find Amanda).

I wonder how Davey's voice will sound on the 911 call ? I sound like a broken record on this I know, but I'll never understand why he didn't start with the home invasion from the start. Someone broke in, attacked Amanda (whether or not he knew it was gunshots / there were bullets), stuff is scattered everywhere.

All I can think to explain it is that because he was having to make up words on the fly instead of his probably carefully-rehearsed and practiced call to report a death - he choked and stammered and stuttered and messed up, majorly.

Davey's 911 call will absolutely start with "I just walked in from the gym" - or it'll be one of the first statements he makes. Also will include that he's the (lead) pastor of Resonate Church. Priorities right ? Like a PASTOR could never do anything like this, or orchestrate it. And I was seen on camera at the gym so it wasn't me !

But what happened in that house on the evening of November 9th and the morning of November 10th - BEFORE he ever left for the gym?

Credit to a poster in the YouTube comments who wrote this about Philip Grandine's 911 call (copied/pasted) -

"First thing he wants you to know : »I just came home«. Second: »I was out running«. Third is, »my wife was taking a bath« and fourth, by the way, »when I came home«, so he was not at home, because he was out running when his wife was taking a bath, just in case you did not get his alibi. And fifth, »she is in the bath« and sixth: but she's under water.« That took a while to get to the point, man."

A similar case -

Raven Abaroa said he was out playing soccer and then found his wife Janet stabbed when he returned home. She too was pregnant like Lacey Peterson and Anna Karissa Grandine (from the link above) and Amanda Blackburn.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/contact-lenses-blew-2005-murder-case-wide-open/story?id=61872691

She was killed in 2005 - Raven wasn't arrested until 2010 - trial in 2013, sentencing in 2014 . . .

There's still time. The internet never forgets. And Davey and Kristi just keep talking.

It is alarming to hear his never changing, repetitive story of how he thought it was a miscarriage. Cross examination should be stellar during this as Davey thinks he has it beat, five plus years of repeating the exact same script will be easy, needling into the details will be Davey's demise.

He now says they will be learning more details with the trial approaching, he says they told him there were things they weren't aware of, that will be brought up in trial. He also states Evie is buried next to Amanda and that they weren't sure what the sex was, but Amanda felt it was a girl and went to garage sales and picked up specific items for a girl. It will be interesting to find out why they didn't do a simple blood test of the baby, in that Amanda was an organ donor, should have gone hand in hand? And in all this time, we've heard virtually nothing about Amanda's organs being donated, very gracious and generous of her. https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9mZWVkcy5idXp6c3Byb3V0LmNvbS8xMzI2MTMzLnJzcw==

The most exhausting explanation of the story, the biggest lie (in my opinion) that Davey tells is that Amanda was pronounced dead 24 hours later, when the truth of the matter is Davey & crew decided to take Amanda off life support as a result of the medical tests indicating Amanda had no brain activity. The lie about the house being a crime scene and Amanda getting into a "scuffle" is about as insulting as it gets.

On a separate note, Perry Noble married his new bride last month, second chances are a dime a dozen with this crew, Davey may have been there, but he wasn't mentioned. Only a matter of time before they move to #3.

DB has recently given new info about the morning of Amanda's murder. He stated that the paramedics asked him which hospital would he like for Amanda to be taken to? He claims that he did not have a preference, just ANY hospital.

Why is he saying this now? We all know that Kristi has friends at the hospital that she was at who were texting her about the loving and prayerful family. Is the reason that DB is saying this because he did give a hospital preference and doesn't want us to connect the dots? Hmmm- I will have to do some digging to see if the hospital Amanda was taken to would have been that the standard EMT procedures would be for her to be taken to given that DB apparantly had no preference.

BIG news today in court- motion to EXCLUDE cell phone tower evidence was granted. WOW!

At the 10 min mark, Davey discussed the earbuds. Says he was wearing them while working out and was listening to worship music. However, he was on the phone with Kenneth right before going inside his house to his worst nightmare, not at the gym. In this interview, he says he ripped of his earbuds and threw them down before going to check on Amanda.

He has a need to justify the earbuds being found right next to Amanda. Seems like such an irrelevant detail, yet he brings it up often now. He doesn't describe the aid (if any) he gave Amanda - wet towel to wash blood? pressure to stop bleeding? elevate her head?

Yet, he let's us know he threw his earbuds down. Any guesses on the need to mention the earbuds?

"Mom2many" had an interesting comment regarding the hospital Amanda was taken to a few years ago. Out of the blue aka "extra information", Bekah introduced the idea of a big hospital conspiracy. So now Davey wants it known that he didn't care.

Also interesting, a lot of EMTs used to closely follow the "Deception Indicated" facebook page.

Transcription starting at 8:10 - - some new tidbits, Davey is adding to the story

8:10
And then November, tenth, of two thousand fifteen, I went, to the gym early one morning, came, came home and walked through the threshold of, of my house to my absolute worst nightmare.

Um, I, I saw -Amanda was facedown, on our living room floor in a pool of blood. And um, y know I rushed to her side and called the paramedics, felt like it took three hours for the paramedics to get there, it took, um, three minutes, uh I found out later

8:37
And so you know those traumatic moments, those - a FREEZE, everything goes in fast motion and slow motion all at the same time an, you know to kind of, spare alot of the details uh, of of what happened, we found out that three men had broken into our home that morning while I was away at the gym they broke into the house two doors down from us and saw me leave for the gym and decided to take that opportunity to break inta, to my house too

9:00
Um, Amanda was caught in the, the scuffle of that, I don’t know all the details yet because a, a jury trial still has not happened and so

They, they told us there’s prob’ly some details that, that are s-gonna come out for the first time that we don’t know about, an an an can’t come out until the trial, an so we’re still kinda bracing ourselves for that

but um what we can surmise based on the information they’re giving us was maybe she uh was, was protecting Weston who was up in uh, the crib, upstairs the entire time he was unharmed, um, got caught in the scuffle and was shot three times

9:33
She was pregnant with our, um, with our second, thirteen weeks along and so, twenty-four hours later, in the hospital, y know they ran a bunch of, uh sc- brain scans and tests an an an pronounced that she was officially deceased.

Um and that was November eleventh, two thousand fifteen, which was four years to the DAY Rachel that we packed up a moving van to (unintelligible) start this church.

9:55
So, um, needless to say our world was turned upside down. And, (crosstalk), you know exactly what that feels like, you know it-, wrestling with a LOT of things, you know layers and layers of complications of wrestling with emotions um, in the midst of this and just tryin to figure out what in the world just happened and how to put the pieces back together on this one.
10:17

Interviewer then says something she has always wanted to ask Davey is if his unborn child was a boy or a girl

10:25
We think she was a girl, so we just, after it all happened, we just, decided ta, we -
Amanda had this s-sense, you know of the kind of mommy sense, this intuition. The pregnancy was a little bit different than it was for, you know Weston, and so she was kinda feeling something different.

10:41
So she had already started assembling things at garage sales, one of the things Amanda did, we’ll talk about this in a second but she, used to get things at garage sales and repurpose them.
And she was assembling uh, for the nursery, she was assembling GIRL items.

And so, you know there was like this bird cage that she had found and she was gonna make it all bird-themed and uh, and, we had already decided that if it was a girl we were gonna name her Everette Grace an an shorten it to Evie Grace, and
Amanda’s middle name is Grace so it was gonna be um, Weston adopted my middle name, James, Weston James, and then, she was gonna be Everette Grace.

So, um, after her passing we just decided to go ahead, and, you know, she’s buried right next to Amanda and on the tombstone it says Evie Grace, um, and so that’s, that’s, that’s what we at least think, we think that she’s a girl.

https://www.sarahewestfall.com/notmystorypodcast/2020/10/22/episode-15-davey-blackburn

Part one of two - -

9:02
But then in two thousand fifteen, November of two thousand fifteen, I walked into that same house, the same living room that I’d walked into many many mornings after going to the gym.
Sarah what’s interesting is that normally I would go to the gym and I would shower at the gym and then I would go to Starbucks or something, ‘cause we were working remotely as church planters and so I’d go and I’d start writing messages and,

9:25
And for whatever reason I, forgot to pack my bag, and, I had to come home and shower and I came home that morning and walked in, in to my absolute worst nightmare

I saw Amanda on the, the living room floor and she was, face down in, kind of a pool of blood, and, if you’ve ever, if you’ve ever experienced somethin, if your listeners have ever experienced something like that, that’s a very traumatic thing, you, your heart just begins racing, immediately,

9:50
And, all of a sudden, everything goes in slow motion and fast motion all at the same time? and your senses become very acute to what’s happening around you, with the things that seem really important and so I remember just, immediately dropping my headphones, I had my headphones in from listening to, you know the music workin out, I drop my headphones I race to her side, and I try to- roll her over thinking, at the time that something had gone wrong with the pregnancy.

10:17
She was pregnant, with our second, she was s- about, thirteen weeks along, and so I tried rolling her over and her, she was unconscious but her breathing was extremely labored and became even more labored when I rolled her over and so, I rolled her back over onto her stomach and knew that I had to call 911 immediately and so I did. And it felt like it took about three hours for them to get there, I found out later it took three minutes.

10:42
They got there, and, they began to attend to her, and, they start asking me a lot of questions, m, many of ‘em I don’t really remember but I remember them asking me ‘which hospital’ you know and I’m like, I don’t CARE which ho-, like, that’s, thi-there’s no PREFERENCES in this s-situation, like just get her to the hospital and I thought for sure if we get her to the hospital, like, she’s gonna be ok. . .

11:05
You know an, an everybody kind of, uh, has moments like this where where a phone call, or a m-, you know just one incident can flip everything about your life, but you don’t ever think that’s gonna happen to you - and so it doesn’t feel real, and so, I guess in denial, or, faith or some mixture of the two,
I just thought for sure, if we just get her to the hospital everything’s gonna be fine.

https://www.sarahewestfall.com/notmystorypodcast/2020/10/22/episode-15-davey-blackburn

Part two of two - -

11:30
So we follow the paramedics to the hospital, I remember havin’ Weston on my lap in a waiting room and I just thought, they’re gonna r-, you know, they’re gonna get her stabilized everything’s fine, we’re gonna go back and see her it was just gonna be this, scare, this close call, but I remember as I was sitting there my brain going back to these snapshots that while I was sitting with Amanda in the living room that, that my, that was taking all of these snapshots of things that were out of place in the living room that didn’t make any sense.

11:53
And. . . eventually doctors and investigators came into that waiting room, and they said Davey um it looks like somebody broke into your house. Now this was after investigators being asking me a lot of questions that didn’t make a lot of sense. And, uh, you know when they kinda I guess surmised that, I had no idea what was goin on, that I still thought it was somethin’ about the pregnancy

12:14
they told me, she has three bullet wounds in her - and one is in her arm, one has grazed over her back and one is in the back of her head. And there’s a bullet lodged behind her eye, and, if we can get the swelling in her brain to go down we’ll try to operate and remove that bullet but it does not look good - and it doesn’t look like she’s ever going to have the quality of life that she once lived if she’s able to come through this.

And Sarah, I remember, just that moment hitting me, and again just not believing that it could be possible, thinking that God was setting us up for some kind of big miracle.

12:52
I grabbed the doctors a, and, and investigators grabbed their hands and said ‘can we pray?’ - and they kind of looked at me weird, I, an, an so I just started prayin’ this biggest, the biggest boldest prayer of faith that I could uh, uh muster up, I said ‘God, I just feel like there’s people in this hospital that don’t know you, they’re trusting in science they’re putting their faith in that, and I, I’m asking right now that you would begin restoring Amanda’s uh, mind, that you’d repair brain matter, that you would do a miracle right now and I know that you can and you wanna sweep a revival across this hospital

13:23
And twenty-four yours later, they ran tests and they uh, pronounced her, officially deceased. And that was November eleventh two thousand fifteen, four years to the DAY (pauses for reaction), that we packed up a moving van and, and moved to, start this church.

Eminem in the earbuds while Davey was doing the nasty:

This is the moment; this is the day
When I send all my doubts and demons on their way.
Every endeavor I have made ever
Is coming into play, is here and now today.

This is the moment, this is the time
When the momentum and the moment are in rhyme
Give me this moment, this momentous moment;
I'll gather up my past, and make some sense at last.

This is the moment, when all I've done
All of the dreaming, scheming and screaming become one.
This is the day, just see it shine
When all I've lived for becomes mine.

This is the moment, this is the hour
When I can open tomorrow like a flower.
And with my hand to, everything I've planned to
Fulfill my grand design; see all my stars align;

This is the moment, my final test;
Destiny beckoned, I never reckoned second best.
I won't look down, I must not fall;
This is the moment, the sweetest moment of them all.

This is the moment, forget all the odds
This day or never I'll sit forever with the gods.
When I look back I will recall, moment for moment
This was the moment,
The greatest moment of them all.

"my bigger question is for anyone who thinks there is some kind of coverup going on, what is that based on, other than pence attending funeral and the unusual timing, which both have other reasonable explanations for happening
and if there was a coverup ordered of pence, wouldnt it be stupid of him to show an association with him?
i suppose there's an argument that there was no coverup at funeral but in the aftermath, pence had some hand in it b/c ppl are saying it would make him look bad to have attended funeral when cd killed her?
but you're arguing that his presence wasn't flagrant enough to make people notice; so in that case, why bother a coverup?
*to clarify, i mean "unusual timing" in reference to the 2.5 yrs since the murder without cd being publicly named or arrested and neither of thugs being sentenced yet i've read other people on here mention an ominous pence connection implying a coverup and I have no problem with those theories, I just need more to go on for me to personally look at them as legitimate scenarios to consider"

Davey says the police told him “it looks like”, and elsewhere that “it seems like”, his house had been broken into. Not the same as saying they believed it had been broken into. It’s interesting that while he’ll claim there was a home invasion, he doesn’t quite say the police said it. The crime scene probably looked staged, or cleaned up, to them, else why phrase it in such ways?

——

Poor Davey, trapped into his ministry of misery. Listening to him again is like glimpsing the seven circles of hell - or is it more than seven? He tells his story with such lack of heart as to seem almost soulless, to me. Here I mean the link further above where he’s speaking of living with the loss of loved ones at Christmas.

——

So, he has a new memory of paramedics telling him to wash his hands before he got Weston from his crib? Could it just be that he might not have thought to do that - or might it be that he wanted an explanation for any trace of blood that might have been found on Weston, if he had found him sitting besides Amanda on the sitting room floor, and hurriedly cleaned him of her blood before making his phone calls?

Would be difficult to explain a pristine Weston up in his crib if any little bloody hand or footprints had been found downstairs - home invaders not known for bathing babies on the way out.

There’s a reason for every new thing he says - I agree he’s trying to explain away whatever he thinks may be evidence.

—-

Who describes a murder as a “scuffle”?

Davey‘s lack of outrage at what was done to Amanda will always speak volumes. He speaks of his trauma, rather than how horrific it must have been for poor terrified Amanda.

Remember how Davey’s brother said Amanda was unrecognisable in the hospital, and how Davey had made a passive heads-up remark to him - “she took quite a beating” rather than be outraged at whichever b******s had beaten and murdered his pregnant wife, and mother of his baby son? He surely should have been outraged, regardless of their difficulties, if he had no part in it? No expression of outrage, not even to his brother, rather he was all camera-ready, advocating forgiveness and leniency towards whoever did it before the sun went down. To be fair, maybe it was a few days later.

“It’s a conundrum” - so much understatement, minimisation, passivity, with Davey - anyone might think he cared more about his dented grill than his murdered wife..

It all becomes the same again.

Happy Birthday to Weston - he is SEVEN years old now ! !

And Davey's Instagram story yesterday - is there anything celebrating his firstborn son's birthday ?

There is, but it's buried amongst the constant peddling of the Nothing is Wasted 42-day devotional book and a glowing flowery thank you to two of the Nothing is Wasted team members.

AND - it's just a copy of what Kristi posted on her Instagram - which actually had a nice picture of Weston standing on some rocks (like a "top of the mountain" kind of rocks) - and an acknowledgement of how much he has been through in his short life - and that he was hers the moment she said I do - expressing that she loves him as her own child - and finished with "oh the places you'll go, Wes-man".

Now, I'm one of the first to admit that I have no love for Kristi - it's possible she was involved in what happened to Amanda and probable that she was one of the motives.

But where's the dad's expression of happiness and celebration for his son?

Does he not want to celebrate Weston's birthday because Weston is a part of Amanda - and always will be ?

I'm actually surprised Weston hasn't met with some type of tragic accident to wipe away all of the memories. Dark, but true.

Davey's most recent post on July 14th has him with Cohen snuggled up to his chest and the caption says "these are my favorite moments". . .

Weston is old enough to know the difference in who is loved the most. Davey might have more Instagram posts with Natalia than Weston - she definitely has more Instagram posts celebrating her or praising her.

And there is no comparison whatsoever to what Davey posts about Kristi on Instagram compared to when he was married to Amanda.

I wonder if Weston remembers the ridicule from his dad in the past - or if he will see it in the future - about his new bike (not riding it, or not as well as Davey would like for him to ride it) . . .

flightfulbird said...

And you'd think AMBER would post happy birthday to Weston -right ?

I mean after all, she remembered "Evie's" birthday - long long flowery post with pictures of the gravestone - and told "Evie"in her post that she loved her more than all the things. . . happy birthday in heaven or whatever.

Weston is alive and well HERE ON EARTH - and forgotten?

Nothing on Instagram, nothing on Facebook - nothing public anyway.

Nice.

Hey Jude said...

Weston probably doesn’t do Facebook - he’s only seven. If Amber posted for his birthday it wouldn’t be for Weston’s benefit, but for her public - so good on Amber for not doing that.

flightfulbird said...

It seemed odd to me that Amber posted for Amanda's unborn child's 5th birthday (with the name "Evie" and everything) and talked about how much she loves her - on the due date which was obviously not the actual birthday anyway . . . . saying "you would have been five today". . . .because "Evie" in heaven wouldn't see Facebook either.

But that definitely makes sense that she could be posting about "Evie" for her public / the story - Nothing is Wasted lives on.

Davey and/or Kristi would see her good wishes (and love?) for Weston and appreciate it, yes? At least Kristi would.

It just caused a major disconnect in my mind because Weston is HERE ! - you'd think Davey would have written something about him.

Hey Jude said...

Hi, Flightful,
I didn’t know Amber posted for Evie’s fifth, but if it makes her feel somehow better…

Maybe she saw Weston on or round his birthday and felt no need to post, if ever she otherwise does.

Maybe Davey didn’t want a ton of messages he’d need to reply to, along with all the reminders as to how much like Amanda Weston looks, and so on, if people still post those comments, or they could just have been too busy celebrating. It’s not as if anyone’s obliged to post their child’s birthday.

I hope Weston is doing okay, and Natalia - the new baby is hopefully giving them both a break.

Do you think anyone other than those charged will ever answer for Amanda’s murder? It seems such a travesty, and all these years on.

Mostly I have tuned out - I couldn’t be doing with Davey’s tiresome podcast and Instagram, and I still don’t know why he thinks he’s a pastor.

The Amanda Blackburn Case said...

We just made a new post. The minimizing and celebrating of Amanda's murder by Davey and now Kristi has just gotten old. Kristi commented that Amanda is just fine with Jesus and things are just as they were supposed to be. I mean come on, she was beaten and murdered fighting hard to live, bruises all over her. They just sicken us sometimes with their complete lack of respect for Amanda's life. Shouldn't they be fighting for justice? 6 years no trial but things are just as they are supposed to be? Shameful!

flightfulbird said...

There are already FIFTY SEVEN comments (and counting - and none of them are from flightfulbird !) on the new post on the ABC Facebook page !

And these are unique posters - not all the same faces as before - all of the past interested posters are there too but NEW people are looking at this case as well.

And who knows what connections those new people have?

Who knows which one of them will be the one who will (or who has the ties to someone who will) open things up, investigate things further, find the truth and ensure justice for Amanda - because Davey and Kristi and Amber and Phil and Robin and Gavin sure aren't concerned about it.

Sure, Amanda was killed but. . . .

Davey actually said that ! - and then he went on to point out all of the good that has come from it. And now KRISTI is also pointing out that she's more than fine with Jesus and this is exactly how it is supposed to be.

SO MANY people know this was a coverup of the highest order - otherwise there's no way Davey (and maybe Kristi) would still be freely roaming in the world. I cannot believe it has been almost six years.

If they are looking for the mastermind, start with the guy who walked in from the gym to find his wife Amanda lying face down on the living room floor and then who has kept saying over and over and over (for almost six years now) that his first honest thought was that she had a miscarriage . . . . .

. . . . even though the gunshot wound / severe trauma to the back of her head had exposed brain matter to the point that he was praying that God would put it back into her head. . . .

really ?

He said that maybe she just got lightheaded coming out of the shower and fell and hit her head - that he wondered what she was trying to order that early in the morning because her credit cards were strewn about. . . .

really ?

Start with the guy who called 911 to report that his wife was injured and unconscious on the living room floor - but who did not ask for IMPD to come out to look at an active crime scene.

Start with the guy who had his marketing and brand titled NOTHING IS WASTED planned out and secured before his wife ever "passed" - who tweeted those words DURING her celebration of life service - who engraved it on her gravestone - who titled his house under it (the house that was easy to buy because of the millions of dollars in life insurance on Amanda).

Start with the guy who kept his relationship with Kristi hidden even though they had training in the same gyms for months and months. And then continue with the girl who moved into the house with him after they got married. There's no way Davey bought that massive house intending for only himself and Weston to move into it.

Silence speaks volumes - Davey has never denied having anything to do with Amanda's death. If I was in his shoes and if I was innocent of any foreknowledge or participation, I'd be screaming from the rooftops - not trying to explain what I honestly saw and thought that morning and telling the same story over and over in every appearance.

flightfulbird said...

Davey's instagram story right now has a video of Cohen in the bathtub with the caption "last night I was giving Cohen a bath and I couldn't help but be reminded of this. . . "

and then the story continues to Weston in the bathtub with the caption "this was Weston at around the same age in the same bathtub 5 years ago. We had just recently moved into this house after Amanda passed away and I was trying to figure out being a single dad and pastor while grieving and healing. Crazy how far The Lord can bring you in 5 years when you lean into him".

Crazy how far The Lord can bring you in 5 MINUTES when you have already prepared your mind and heart that your wife was going to be executed . . . while you were conveniently at the gym for an alibi and then talking with your best pastor friend Kenneth Wagner on the driveway after you returned home- while peering in the window to see if Weston was awake yet.

Everything was laid out- preplanned, orchestrated, dots connected.

Davey's words and demeanor in all of his appearances during the media blitz immediately following Amanda's murder- his dry eyes, his flowery prepared statement released almost immediately- and his lies ever since in almost every single appearance- all point to foreknowledge and a prepared heart, just waiting for four months TO THE DAY (that they moved to Indy to start the church) to arrive so he would have that part of the story to tell too.

I can't stand it that he keeps saying he was grieving and healing - he was joyful and like a bird let out of a cage literally 5 days later.

Really not even 5 days later - he was totally accepting and all like "all things work together for good" from the very first day.

More than one person posted below those videos of his appearances that if you had muted the Good Morning America interview (and others too), it would have looked like Davey was talking about going to Disney World or Disneyland instead of talking about suddenly walking in and finding his wife in a pool of blood with three gunshot wounds.

Fresh eyes are looking at this case, thanks to the ABC Facebook page. The more people who see this case, the more people will know things don't add up and one day the right person or people are going see it- or hear Davey speak- and dig deeper and the truth will come out- all will be revealed.

I posted this before- when things are quiet on message boards and videos and it seems like nobody is looking anymore- rest assured that there is a relentless pursuit of justice by the cadre of us who have followed this case from the very beginning and we are never going to give up until the truth comes out.

But now, the Amanda Blackburn Case Facebook page is LIGHTING UP with new posts - link here - nice work, page owner ! - and thank you for continuing to keep this case in front of eyes - for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. It's just a matter of time.

She said that for Davey to so flippantly leave the door open on the dark, winter morning made no sense! And the fact he did it on purpose makes it even weirder. He should have said it was on accident. And he should have apologized but he didn't. Nope, he said "she was about to get up anyway" and has NEVER said sorry!

Trial for Larry Taylor starts Monday at 9 am

The trial starts on Monday! We have someone that will be attending. Recaps to follow.

Mistrial. A juror found out AB was pregnant. I assume prosecutors will refile. Timetable? Who knows

The trial is postponed, yet again.

In the meantime, would anyone like to try to analyse this statement? One astute piece of shoe lint has noted that crazy Davey “wanted to shoot everyone” and that’s only the first line. Does he seem fearful about what the trial will reveal? After 6 years, what surprises can there be?

Hey Nothing is Wasted Family,
I wanted to shoot everyone a quick personal email asking for prayer for me and for our entire family this week. Over the past six years you have both faithfully followed and covered our family with prayer.
This week we will need it more than ever.
As most of you know, Nothing is Wasted Ministries was birthed out of horrific pain my family and I experienced in November of 2015. My wife, Amanda, and our unborn baby were murdered in our home during a break in. It’s out of that tragedy that we’ve dedicated our lives to help you in your trauma, tragedies, and major life transitions begin to partner with God to take back your story.
Now, after six long years of Amanda’s case being tied up in the judicial system, the jury trial begins today and will last through the duration of this week. More than likely I will take the stand to give testimony later this afternoon (Monday, December 6th).
First of all, please pray The Lord will give all of us supernatural strength. The prosecution is anticipating that court proceedings will be everyday this week from about 9am - 6pm. We know from the few brief hearings we’ve attended, this will be extremely taxing emotionally, spiritually, and physically. As we relive the events of November 10th and 11th and as new details we were previously unaware of come to light, we will need the guidance, protection, and empowerment of the Holy Spirit over our minds and hearts. This is the first time we will all be in the same room as the man who is standing trial for her murder. Please pray for a Jesus-filled compassion and grace as we face him for the first time today.
Secondly, please pray for unity for our family. The enemy loves to use situations like this to weasel his way into relationships to cause tension and division. In situations that are emotionally charged it’s very easy to channel those emotions on the people you love. Please pray the Lord gives us an uncommon grace for each other and for others.
Finally, pray that the The Holy Spirit is felt by all (judge, counsel members, jury, perpetrators, gallery, and media) in such a tangible and palpable way that everyone present KNOWS something is different about this case. Courtrooms are a holding place for the darkest and most evil acts to be put on display. That sounds just like the kind of place our God loves to invade. Please pray for that kind of supernatural breakthrough this week. Through the last 6 years Jesus has been put on display in Amanda’s story and we’re praying this is another mighty demonstration of that. He is who she lived for, and He is who she would want honored in her life, death, and legacy.
All I can think of as I write this is the disciples in Acts 4 who, when facing imprisonment, rather than praying for safety, prayed for boldness to declare the Gospel in the face of danger and persecution. While we’re certainly not facing persecution, we are facing a spiritual battle that could easily cause us to shrink back in fear and timidness. The Lord has instead given us a spirit of power, love and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Please pray that His Spirit manifests these things in us this week.
Thank you, family. It's an honor to serve you.

Mistrial

interesting to see Megs on camera.

Have yet to see a public statement by anyone related to Amanda, I may have missed it. No doubt, Davey is busy penning a profound blog story about how the mistrial ties into the plan. I would love it if anyone here could explain exactly what happened. I understand the jury found out Amanda was pregnant - after the fact - but how is this possible? I have footage stating they were going to charge Larry Taylor with the sentencing enhancement, it was all over the news, how could this type of mistake have taken place, after 6+ years of waiting? And zero outrage, but for a handful of internet people that never even met Amanda? Not sure about anyone else, but I feel gutted and disgusted at the same time. 6 years and still no end in sight, unbelievable.

kate,

no clue how judge thinks he will get jury pool who had no idea she was pregnant when it was plastered all over the news for months. but yeah, that's what happened. "more than one" juror found out AB was pregnant, and they weren't supposed to know. i assume the judge thinks that info's probative value is outweighed by its potential for prejudice.

sentencing enhancement is done after the jury trial. once jurors reach verdict, then they reconvene to decide if the state has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the person, while committing or attempting to commit a felony, caused the termination of a human pregnancy. in which case the court will add a sentence between 6-20 years to be served consecutively (not concurrently).

so they'd find out about her pregnancy during sentencing, after they already reach and read the initial verdict.

This is Davey's thoughts/reaction to the trial being delayed again. He is troubled due to so many having to change their schedules, take off work, etc. I'm only halfway through, but not a lot of mention of Amanda/Everette and a whole lot about "poor Davey".

Merry Christmas Greetings, To All.

So very nice to read all the familiar names of you guys on Hyatt's Analysis and such detailed posts that point in one direction. I receive notification posts via email so I've kept in the groove.

If I knew for certain that Davey didn't know any of the 5 or 6 perpetrators, then I'd like to learn that as fact in order to clear that up. Check.
Always remember where Davey met his current wife. Check.

As with all of you, sweet Amanda's son, Weston, is always forefront on my mind and in my prayers. He should have a baby sister named Evie and both being loved by Amanda.

How do we prove a negative? What does the CS inside their home tell us? Why did the shooter arrive at that particular residence that early morning? Why did Davey hang out on the phone call so long in Amanda's driveway while she lay dying?

Was the swisher found at the CS truly Larry's?

Why was the dog locked up during this event? Weston was found standing in his crib, isn't that what his father said?

Why did Davey decide not to lock the front door on his way out of the house on his way to the gym that fateful morning? I think that's critical to what happened.

Amanda, innocently, was violated so severely that she bled to death from multiple assaults. This gruesome attack was unprovoked evil meant to kill a mother with her unborn child.

Davey thought maybe she fell against the decorative ladder that was making a mess in the room. Marlarky. Was there no blood?

Motive? Who knows why some guys murder their wives while others let them go?
Money. Sex. Power. Privilege.

Link to *graphic* CS photos of the Dr Teresa Sievers murder. Her hired killer used a hammer. It was his nickname. How about having that dude Hammer as a friend?

In what position were Amanda's clothing found to be? Was her top or dress shoved up to her armpits? Were her pants up or down? Did she appear to have fallen and knocked the ladder over when she fell as Davey opined?

I wish Amanda could have beat her attacker with the wooden ladder. She couldn't stop bullets though.

Best regards and sweet blessings to All.

Mannequin-great post, and I agree, its
awesome to see all these familiar names, and know everyone is still trying to get justice for Amanda.
Reading all these posts, it is very
striking to see DB continue to use Amanda and her brutal murder as his ticket to
fame and fortune, as well as repeat "the story" over and over again, for six long years, using the exact words each time as if he has it all written down or memorized. If he doesn't review his story, he adds tidbits to it, keeping all us shoe lint with new info for everyone to discuss. He must get a kick out of reading about himself. The tragedy continues in that the justice system in this case is ridiculously broken, as was the investigation. With the trial being pushed back again, he an KB must be relieved, but very tired of having it hanging over their heads; I believe he's scared and nervous to testify, but never having anybody question him again, has given him some relief. Hope the new year does bring in some new investigators, and full justice for Amanda and her children.
Happy New Year to you all-Sirensong

Jury selection currently happening today in the case against Larry Taylor. Will the 911 call be released? How nervous and sweaty will DB be having to face Larry and Jalen Watson on Monday. Will they "glare" at him again? Will he blog about it, saying it was just them asking for forgiveness? lol

New post on the Amanda Blackburn Case Facebook page - link to page here - https://www.facebook.com/amandablackburncase

And - it already has 49 comments from people who have been following this case from the very beginning but also from some who have stumbled across it through various sources and know there is more to the story.

It really does just feel like a matter of time before Davey is found out as either the one who actually killed Amanda or the one who carefully orchestrated it and connected all the dots and laid out a plan to disappear his wife in a tragic fashion - possibly in hopes of becoming the next Levi Lusko.

The page post includes this link to a USA Today article -

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/11/13/experts-pastors-wifes-pregnancy-could-increase-killers-sentence/75685508/?fbclid=IwAR3xoJW5PHpA8JeuKaF0qZu0LA2CNwvbBWA-BlnI2euKLFamwuOKtUOvVr4

and there is a photograph of Amanda and Davey's house with a hazmat / cleanup truck in the driveway - which has always raised the question of why have the house professionally cleaned so fast - it wasn't like Davey and Weston were going to be staying there right away - why wouldn't Davey wait to be sure any and all evidence was intact for investigators to discover ?

We know why,

Amanda is in the iCU, they are singing and praying around and over her bed - and Davey has to steal away to make a phone call to set up a professional hazmat cleaner to erase evidence the sooner the better.

Like I said before, this page might be "quiet" but discussions are happening in other places every day - journalists are getting re-interested in the story and digging deeper and asking some of us for information going all the way back to 2015 !

It really is just a matter of time before the needle points to Davey - or Davey + Kristi. Motives all over the place - so many motives - and all you really need is one.

Kate- thanks. I was able to locate the information. I wish that I knew how to get you the bookmark. Your email address came back as undeliverable. You are missed! The case is going to be brought to light in a new-ish way. I’m not sure on the timeframe for it- but will post on here when the new content is released.

In case anyone still checks in here - what’s to say about Larry’s conviction, despite, according to Davey, no DNA found from any of the three in the Blackburn home?

Didn’t realise what sophisticated criminals they were….. not even DNA on the swisher sweet pack, which “did not belong in the home”?. They must have stopped to carefully clean it before forgetting to take it… how unlikely.

I listened to parts one and two of Davey’s ‘Nothing is Wasted’ podcast on the trial. I almost believed him, and I want to believe him, but then I remember all the reasons why I don’t. He’s changed - much calmer, softer spoken, much relieved no doubt, and as if the anger has gone out of him.

Shame the trial was not online - Davey’s testimony, witness impact statement, maybe even the 911 call, if there was one - did he just call non emergency?

He spoke about how for a time he was bothered by Statement Analysis “conspiracy theorists” taking his words apart - he says he speaks that way because he “grew up in church”. I’d be bothered that he was bothered if I believed he had nothing to do with what happened to Amanda, but I still don’t think they have the whole story. None of the three’s DNA in a supposedly burglarised house, with Amanda’s bloody murder, and her displaced clothing, blood smeared everywhere. Not a trace - how is anyone satisfied with that? For a time during the trial Davey and the family apparently worried if they had the wrong man, as the evidence was so lacking. How could that be?

Davey will still always have rushed home from the gym and sat outside on the phone to Kenneth for almost an hour while Amanda bled out. He will still always have claimed he thought Amanda hit her head on a kitchen cabinet and had a miscarriage, despite she was so beaten as to be unrecognisable, according to his brother - so minimising.

He spoke more affectionately about Amanda than I’ve ever heard him - Not sure if he, or any family member said they believed there had been justice for Amanda, or even if they mentioned her name in the news clips that I saw - there was hardly any coverage. Disappointed for Amanda - it was much more about Davey, as usual.

Excerpt from the Court Opinion Issued November 2023...

"Facts... [7] While Gordon and Watson were gone, Taylor attempted to forcibly have
sexual intercourse with Amanda. Amanda fought with Taylor, and Taylor shot
