Hate Hoax Doubleheader: In Separate Incidents, Two Black Students Threaten to Shoot Blacks

Lately there are so many hate hoaxes that to attract attention hoaxers have to go over the top. Once it was enough for theoretically oppressed persons to scrawl “n*****” on their own door and weep to the authorities that Whitey did it. Now we read stories like this…

Police at Saginaw Valley State University say a threat posted on the social media site Yik Yak read, “I’m going to shoot every black person I can on campus. Starting tomorrow morning.

Please note the soft language.

The message triggered an investigation and police security response that led to the arrest of a Delta College student living in SVSU housing.

Emmanuel D. Bowden, 21, is charged with making a false report or threat of terrorism, a felony that carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison.

It appears that Bowden’s defense against this charge will be the trusty standby, “I was just kidding.”

As anyone who hasn’t been living in a cave for the past decade would probably guess, Bowden is a person of politically preferred pigmentation:

He was arrested Tuesday morning on an unrelated warrant.

The next day, far from Michigan in Arlington, Texas:

A 17-year-old Bowie High School student was arrested in connection with threatening posts made on social media against her school.

Shalaria Jones was arrested Wednesday night and charged with making terroristic threats on Twitter using a fake account.

Pretending to be a “white” student at Bowie, Jones posted three threatening tweets — one including a picture of a handgun with a threat of a school shooting.

The tweets caused a “chaotic scene” when as many as 300 students left school out of fear for their safety, according to an arrest warrant.

Considering that she sent this tweet…

im at @jamesbowiehighschool sittin in class thinkin who should I kill first by the way im white nd a junior

This speaks for itself.

…few will be surprised to learn that Jones looks like this: (she is black)

Be sure to congratulate Emmanuel Bowden and Malaria I mean Shalaria Jones for making the Hate Hoax List. It is probably all they will ever have to take pride in.

John-
It is so odd that you posted this. I thought I was the only one who thought all these recent "hate crimes" committed against black students were actually being perpetrated by black people. Since they are wanting a cause and since no white people were actually doing anything. Blacks thought white people are actually thinking it... so would just do what white people were only thinking of doing and it would get their "cause" going.

In other words, I have thought for several days now that the crimes (yelling n----- and painting a swastika in feces were committed by blacks... well, I don't believe any one yelled anything.

Then when all the media pulled away off campus and covered the Paris tragedy, the blacks were furious. Which goes to show how self-centered and self entitled they truly are. I hope Peter will cover this.

Not gonna get involved in any black vs white racial issues since I'd have to know each and every little underlying basis of fact, but I will say that not every white automatically jumps on the bandwagon against blacks and their discriminatory remarks. Some of us have a very deep understanding of their anger in many cases; some of us have been active civil rights advocates for their causes in years gone by; I for one, and I am still aware of the very much alive racial divide of many whites against blacks just based on the color or their skin. I find it appalling.

About the chat room; very interesting and alive. I enjoyed it very much, only was not able to click onto any of the links. I wish they were made easier to view. Overall, good site! ABB

Hi, Montana

Even before i read who the culprit was of the first fake threat, his language gave him away. Not only of his skin color but that the threat was fake. Peter, teachers us to set up the expected and any deviation from that (unexpected) should raise ones eyebrows. (Red flags) if you will.

First we have the statement from the author of the website:

Once it was enough for theoretically oppressed persons to scrawl “n*****” on their own door and weep to the authorities that Whitey did it.

Note the language used, "N*****"

Now, although it is a hypothetical statement, this type of language employed, is the expected in real racist threats, and will probably be much stronger.

Fake threat:

“I’m going to shoot every black person I can on campus. Starting tomorrow morning.”

So now we set up the expected of such a threat. We look at the words one may use if said threat is real.

N*****
Black B"""""", and so on

"black person"

Here we not only have a weak threat, but because the author of the fake threat is a black man, he can not bring himself to call black people in general, "N*****s". This goes against what he believes, and is racist. Now, you may say that black people do call each other "N****** and i agree. But, when used as in a sentence of threat, or a derogatory way, it becomes offensive. Thus, he doesn't want to offend not only other black people, but, in a sense, himself too.

The second fake threat, as i said in my initial post, speaks for it's self.
