Taqiyya Examined

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/11/the_taqiyya_factor.html

Note at one point, the author says, "taqiyya about taqiyya" is stated.   I have not experienced it as in the interview, to test the theory, one must bring the subject to the lie, and directly ask about it.

In many years of interviewing, I have not ever encountered a single "lie about a lie", nor have I any knowledge of anyone having found this principle of Statement Analysis to not work.  I use it, explicitly with the subject's own language to facilitate a confession or admission.

OT Update:

Aunt gets subpoena in probe of S.J. toddler's unexplained death

Snipped:

A grand jury subpoena was served on Sarah Jessica Creato, seeking her testimony in the death of her nephew and godson, Brendan Creato.

The subpoena directed the 20-year-old, who had made a movie trailer school project about the death of a young boy over a year ago – played by her nephew – to testify this past Monday.

Her lawyer, William J. Brennan of Philadelphia, declined to comment Wednesday afternoon.

But Brennan had said last week during an interview with PhillyVoice that his client was speaking to a prosecutor on Monday, though he did not share at that time that a subpoena had been issued to compel her to speak.

Brennan also represents Brendan Creato’s grandparents, David and Lisa Creato, with whom Sarah Jessica Creato lives.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, which is investigating the death, did not respond to multiple requests for comment on Wednesday.

OT:

Woman Arrested After Pulling Gun On Black Man In 'Self Defense'
The man was just asking for a cigarette lighter, witnesses say.

A 67-year-old Tennessee woman was arrested after pulling a gun on a black man when he approached her asking for a cigarette lighter, police said.

Sherry McLain said she feared for her life and acted purely in “self defense” when she “turned around to see a black male who hollered ‘You got a light?’" according to a police report.

“It scared me absolutely to death,” McLain, who is white, told News Channel 5 of her fright in a Murfreesboro Walmart parking lot Friday. “I have never been so afraid of anything in my whole life, I don’t think.”

James Crutchfield, 52, told police he was merely asking for a lighter and never came less than 10 feet away from her during their 4 p.m. encounter.

Within two seconds of approaching her, however, police say surveillance video captured McLain pulling a gun and pointing it at him.

Fellow shopper Keeley Benoit, who was standing nearby with her 7-year-old son, said the terrified man was suddenly upon her screaming, “This woman is pointing a gun at me!”

Turning to face McLain, Benoit told police that she saw her raise the firearm in their direction.

“The lady kept repeating, ‘I’m going to shoot you; I’m going to kill you,’” Benoit told Channel 5.

Crutchfield ran into the store and called 911. During a later interview with police, McLain accused him of “aggressively” approaching her.

Police said video of their exchange failed to show any aggression or threats and arrested her on charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Those charges, she argued, are completely unjustified.

“This guy is the bad guy and I’m the one in handcuffs walking away,” she sniffed to Channel 5.

McLain’s handgun, which she had a permit for, was confiscated as evidence and she was released on $15,000 bond, records show

Not in the article but in the VT.

John, what are they leaving out in this story?

White woman pulls gun on black man. Hmmm........

Video doesn't pick up voice, or heavy footsteps. Is she single, recently widowed? Probably. They interviewed her in her home which looked nice. Was her car a luxury type a black man may want? Was she smoking? Why would he think she, a 67 year-old, would have a lighter when he could have bought one with the cigs? Did he think she were younger? She looks younger. What about the crime in the area? Is it rising and they are relying on the sales team/journalists to keep it under wraps under their studies are completed? Are the demographics changing, eg, black-t0-white ratio? Whose face do they see most often on TV associated with crime-black or white?

No one needs a Yale study on how to avoid 1968...some already get it.

Hi

It is interesting she brings her age into it making it important to her. I'm wondering, as you say "She looks younger." Is this the reason she mentions her age, that she wants people to flatter her and that she is not happy with growing older. Has she leaked a marble about her insecurities of getting on in life. Is she married? Did her partner leave her for someone younger ?

I've heard lots of people lie about a lie. A denial about a lie is itself a lie. The "You misunderstood me when I said/did that" is a lie about whatever happened, which may have been a lie to start with.

The concept reminds me loosely of 'gas-lighting.'

O/T:

Here's a statement released by a church pastor who returned home from the gym to find his wife shot in the head, presumably during a home invasion. They have a toddler and she was newly pregnant. At the time of his statement she was in the hospital and determined to be brain dead. Doctors harvested her organs. His religious beliefs seem to be somewhat conservative - I wouldn't say fundamentalist but close - so maybe that plays into what he had to say. I found his references to her in the past tense unnerving. Here's the statement:

----
“It’s impossible to communicate all the emotions my heart has been forced to process,” Davey Blackburn said in a statement. “My wife was such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God. I have not only lost my ministry partner and support but also my very best friend. There is no way to prepare yourself for circumstances like these. As deeply as I am hurting I am hopeful and confident that good things will come of this.

”Thank you for understanding my desire to take these next few days to continue to grieve for Amanda Grace,“ he added. ”My focus right now is to let The Lord minister to my heart as I continue to shepherd little Weston’s. I’ll be taking this time to focus on being a great follower of Jesus, dad, family member, and pastor to our growing church.“
----

Here's an article on the shooting:

John, I googled some crime info from the area and it appears that homicides are a trend come lately, along with a white girl raped and murdered by a black man. It's not a huge metropolitan area, and, knowing the culture, instead of enacting crime prevention patrols they push the "get a gun" rules of safety down everyone's throat. An armed robber at the local DQ, a man shot in the stomach for trying to talk to a 20 year old after a car accident...on and on.

There's a college nearby and I would imagine a lot of crime is overlooked merely because people want to hear no more. She could be living in the same old house within a changing neighborhood that caters to the criminals. Typically, when lazy cops exist, they expect everyone to move, which would be easier than enforcing patrols.

A lot of drunk driving, too.

She's scared. More is going on other than smokeless black dudes.

John, after reading comments on the pastor wife's killing, I see where you are going with your "husband left her" comment as apposed to crime escalating in the environment in which the elder woman lived and safety not being the issue more than the psychological affirmation of outward appearance.

On "interviewer" used the word "SNIFFED" and another used "WHINED"-no one questioned why the man wouldn't buy a lighter if he is a smoker?

4pm in a Wal-mart parking lot does not ensure safety. Had he entered her car to use the cig lighter, then what? Or, opened her purse?

BTW, the KKK names and info hasn't panned out either. Their "research" is failing miserably and is endangering lives.
