911 Call of Father Who Beat Molester

from Wesh:

 Police:

Dad beat up babysitter who was molesting son

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —Police say a Daytona Beach father beat an 18-year-old man unconscious after he caught him sexually abusing his 11-year-old son.

"I just walked in and found a grown man molesting (my child), and I got him in a bloody puddle for you right now officer," he said.

Police say Frolander asked the boy first to sit on his lap, then took him to a bedroom, pulled his pants down and sexually battered him.

Dispatcher: You said the person who assaulted, you beat him up?

Caller:   Oh yeah, send him an ambulance. He's going to need one.

According to the victim, Frolander had been abusing him for more than three years. The family thought he was a trusted family friend.

"The young man was in fear that if he didn't comply he'd get hurt," said Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood.

The father will not face charges. "Dad reacted like a dad," said Chitwood. "He's acting like a father, protecting his son, and he's furious over what has occurred."

Frolander allegedly admitted the on-going sex abuse, according to police. He said he'd been abused as a child. Frolander appeared in court Friday with his eyes almost swollen shut. He is being held on no bond.

I'll bet that that well-deserved beating did more for the father and son psychologically in terms of healing than any punishment the courts will impose.

Bravo to the father for having the restraint to not actually kill him.

Carnival Barker, you are so right, I was thinking about the same. The father did justice for his son, and he did that well. I feel there is hope for healing for the little boy.

All child abusers should look like that, beaten to pulp by the abused children's parents. That deffinately would help the therapy for the victims.

I love stories like this. And considering the son was afraid…. And that is why he didn’t tell….Well, I think dad proved just who should be afraid and it’s not his son. I agree that this was better than any prison term.
Because the kid now knows dad can and will protect him.

So what's the consensus here? Is this awesome father being truthful on the 911 call? I believe he's being honest. He said he just walked in on it and obviously he reacted physically when he saw what this little vermom was doing to his son.

How sad that the son had been molested by this little turd for 3 years...thank you to the police dept who decided not to charge the father.
