Rafael Palmeiro: "Never" in Statement Analysis


As we have seen on many cases, the word "never" is not considered a reliable denial, and should not be taken as such.

If someone says, "I never took drugs", it is unreliable.  If the person says, "I did not take drugs.  I never have..." or if when asked, "Have you ever?", the word "never" is appropriate.

By itself, it is a word that liars use.  Marion Jones and Lance Armstrong "never" doped.
